I have been trying to get the DVD since December and have not been able to get the DVD sent from Disney. Called Disney today and they say they are not shipping the DVDs internationally. However, when I sent on the disney.ca website, I was able to request the DVD yet again. Does anybody know what is going on, bc this is seriously bush league by Disney if true :confused3:mad::scared::sad1:

I ordered the 2008 and 2009 ones online and they came without any trouble. I think it took about 3 weeks to Alberta. I think I ordered the '09 in Jan or Feb. I agree, if this is true, it's not too classy.:confused3

Hmm, this is interesting. looks like I will be calling down there to speak to a supervisor bc the person I was dealing with adamantly denied it was still going on. I called in December, made a replacement request in Feb, and again yesterday. Thanks all

I as well had no problem getting one shortly after xmas. I think (hope) you got a bad disney rep!

We ordered the 2009 version in January, and it did not show up until end of May. So, it's very possible your copy is in the mail...

I requested the disney cruise dvd and got the WDW dvd instead, lol. Still haven't gotten the cruise one, I re-requested it a few weeks ago, but still no sign of it......

Not sure whats going on, lol

I guess I got their attention. After calling them out on it through examples on here and demanding to speak to a supervisor, they are mysteriously sending one to me. I also politely told them it was seriously bush for them to still have the link to order dvds thru their website if this new "policy" is in place. Will hope find out in a few weeks but not holding my breath. If anybody calls down there, if they can verify this new policy because I have not heard of others on the board experiencing this from Canada ar elsewhere internationally

im glad yorue finallyly geting it! i called the 1800 number in january or febuary and received it shortly there after. it was all automated. i tried to order if from online- no luck. also check with sears travel. after booking my vacay a few weeks back my ta had just gotten her shipment in of them and now i have two.

I ordered the new celebrations one a month ago online and it just came today. Why would they not want to promote international travellers in this economy? Maybe the CM got it confused with a Dvc/Dvd:confused3

I've managed to get 2 copies no problem since Dec/08. We loaned out our first one to friends & they lost it so I just ordered another one 3 weeks ago & got it last week in the mail. Not sure why you're have so many problems.

I've managed to get 2 of them sent to me in Ontario since Dec. 1st one we loaned out & our friends lost it, 2nd one I just got a few weeks ago. Took 2 weeks at the most.

We ordered and received one - the only problem was it was in French! Ordered another one a few weeks back - no sign of it yet. We watched an older one we have last night - and we are all very excited. We've been to Disneyland a couple of times but first trip to Disney World for our family - Leaving in September from Alberta!

Update: Received the DVD from the WDW office who initially told me no and backed down when I got assertive. Thanks to the board which I used as an example
