My mom used to make the best stuffed peppers but lost the recipe. It had tomato soup, ground beef and rice plus other ingredients. How do you make yours?

Thanks for sharing!

This is my mom's reciepe and it is really good.

2 Green Bell Peppers
1 Egg
Salt
Pepper
1/2 cup Oatmeal
1/4 cup onion (sweet onion works best) *optional for taste
1/2 cup rice

Boil Rice.
Cut peppers in half from top to bottom. Remove insides and stems. Rinse.
Place aluminum foil on cookie sheet, then put peppers on aluminum foil.
In bowl, mix raw meat, cooked rice, egg, salt, pepper, oatmeal, and chopped onion. Mix well.
Spoon evenly into peppers.
Top with cheese of your choice (velvetta works great!)
Bake at 350 until meat is done.

My grandmother made this version and my family really loves it. It is also very easy and you don't have to cook the rice first.

4 - 6 peppers, depending on their size, tops cut off and insides cleaned out
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef ( I use the 93% fat free)
1 cup uncooked rice
1 onion chopped fine
2 cloves garlic crushed
1 egg
salt and pepper to taste
an 8 oz. glass of water with 2 - 3 T. Sweet Hungarian paprika mixed into it.
Tomato Juice

Mix beef, rice, onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper and egg together. Then mix in the water/paprika mixture. Stuff the peppers, but don't pack them. Place into a large pot and fill with tomato juice to cover the peppers. If some of the peppers are not covered by the juice, spoon some into them while cooking. Cover and simmer on stove top about 2 hours.
