Well here it is folks, my Trip Report. It's been crazy since I got back. Wow, who knew it work missed me...

I hope you'll forgive the lack of food pics, more on the reason later.

Trip Dates: May 25-31, 2009
Stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter
Players:
ME - 37 - you can see more about me in my PTR, but I have a great love for all things Disney since i was a child and have been to Disneyland 19 times or 17 i can't remember. Perfectly happy family vacations, i remember them vividly.. Went to WDW in 1998 and have been dying to go back.
DH - 39 - Is extremely patient with the Disney Loving ME. Just likes going anywhere as long as we are together. It was his first trip and even though i tried couldn't get him to wear the First Visit Pin. But still had a great if tiring time.
DB - 24 - my brother, more about him in my PTR. He has Epilepsy and CP and the trip was challenging but fun for him. He Proudly wore his First Trip button! Le'ts see my brother love him so dearly but he's very serious, but had a great time laughing and is a great screamer on the rides...haha more on that later.

you will have to deal with my photos i took until i get my Photopass pics back, then i'll upload them. Loved them BTW.
Ok here we go......:yay:

Day 1 - Travel & DHS

We were leaving on Sunday and as of Friday I didn't have a thing packed and I had to work late. I got home from work at 7pm and proceeded to do laundry, get out suitcases..begin to get frantic and was so happy my DH said i'm going next door to his friends to play video games. I was so happy i can get so much more done with him out of the way. Got some things packed, cleaned a bit. and headed over to my mom's to get my brother packed. My mom is remodeling her whole house and she was staying at a hotel but my brother enjoyed his freedom and wanted to stay home in his upstairs room, since they were remodeling the downstairs. I was able to get in the door, haha and get upstairs where we packed his clothes together so he didnt' forget anything. (he needs help with some things because he can't recall much). Wow he had gigantic shoes, so we had to upgrade to his bigger suitcase to fit 4 pairs (two pair of broken in tennies in case one gave him blisters, I was prepared). He was done i left went back home. Where hubby made dinner, Panini Sandwiches so good and quick and easy and as he pointed out very little mess he was so proud he even used paperplates...haha

Friday night was a laudry marathon.
Sat was a cleaning house and fold laundry marathon.

Sunday - woke up early and went to get my DB, he was going to spend the day with us as our flight didn't leave until 11:45pm. We went to the movies to see Terminator Salvation and then closed up the suitcases did a hour of name all the things we may have forgotten. And we were off to the airport.
Checked in with no hassle and went to the restaurant to eat since we wouldn't be for about 8 hrs. Before we knew it we were on the plane, i thought a red eye would not sold out. Alas, it was a full flight so we didn't get to relax and spread out. We were going to watch the movie but I fell asleep 1/2 hr. into the flight. When i woke up the movie was over and everyone was sleeping all lights were off that made it very easy to fall asleep until we heard we were landing in houston.
We were in Houston for an hour and a half and then were on the flight to Orlando, we all dozed that flight too. We woke up to the announcement we were landing...it seemed like minutes later we were walking to the baggage claim. I tried the same thing many other have done pointing out the mini monorail at the airport. I got two sets of raised eyebrows i guess i wasn't going to have a easily enthused crowd to deal with.... oh no.... :confused3

I followed a tip i got on the site about getting the car first and then getting the luggage, must have been a one off thing as we got the car and walked over and we were the only luggage left. haha, oh well it was there, we grabbed it and went. Got to the car drove our of the garage and We WERE HERE...!!!!

First things first, we drove to the Winn-Dixie on Appoka Vineland Rd. and bought real coffee(I had the size 4 filters in my bag, thanks to anther Disboard tip), Water and Soda.

We left there and drove back to I-4, yes we could have taken the road that goes by DTD but then we wouldn't get to see the sign. So i made him drive back to I-4 and we took the Disney exit and saw THE SIGN, THE SIGN....and yeh, you'd laugh if you saw the smidge of sign i got a picture of, it was sad and just a taste of the GLOURIOUS shots to come later, NOT...

OK more later..... this might time out and then where would I be?

Looking forward to seeing your pictures and reading more about your trip. My husband has epilepsy but his seizures are under control with medication. Still, a trip to Disney can sometimes be an overload for him.

Day 1 - Travel & DHS - Part 2
I was so excited to see that sign!
The resort was so close and it wasn't hard to find it. Pulled up to the guard shack they looked us up on the board and they let us in...
We parked, I resisted the urge to run in. My DH said hey those kinda of plant in the front are ones that only grow inside at home...which we all laughed about. There were three people in line at check-in but because I checked in on-line DAYS AGO, we had one person at that line. I thought we'd have to wait, but another CM came out and practically just gave us our packet and wanted us to leave, so i had to say. This is my first time staying on Disney property and that was enough to cue her to give us all the In's and Out's. Of course I knew about everything, i've been reading the boards for months. But DH and DB they were enraptured and I told her it was their first time, so out came the buttons. My brother was very happy and the lady said you Must wear those everyday and boy did my brother do just that. It was great! DH on the other hand pocketed his. And two days ago i took DH's button and got shadow box frame for it we mounted it and gave it to my DB last night as a present. He was very happy as he just got his room painted in the remodel and made us take it up with him to hang it up.
We moved the car and made our way easily to our room, bottom level as we requested so no stairs for my DB (he gets shaky and is high as he's very highly medicated). It was nice, just what i had seen in pics, My DH liked the privacy curtain and it came in handy as we all woke up in the morning.
We dumped our stuff, no Unpacking for this crowd. It's my mom's fault she unpacked at Disneyland hotel once and when we left she left a drawer full of stuff. So since then we live out of our suitcases, thanks mom. I filled the refrigerator with our drinks and we Were out the door to go to DHS.
I forgot some important items as we left, keep in mind it's sunny and 85 at this point that's super hot to us NWer's.
I forgot for the FIRST AND LAST TIME:
-handicapped parking pass
-ponchos
Getting to the park was a breeze easy road signs.
We pulled up to the parking stands and they breezed us thru with a hand wave, that was nice having the resort parking pass in your window.
That's when i realized i forgot the Handicapped parking pass. Oh well it's our first day no problem...we thought.
We parked not too far out we thought for a Memorial Day holiday, very close...missed the tram so we walked. Got thru bag check, my DB always walked thru to show his little wallet around his neck he wears, even though i told him he didn't need to, He informed me it was the rules... Then the CM informed him he didn't need to...Well he did it everyday after that, so i just shut up. LOL
We got our tickets initialized and walked in and to the Wheelchair rental.
Now this was a fight, my mom had discussed with my DB that he really needed it, that he can barely walk around the mall without having a seizure the next day. So he needed to let us get him a wheelchair, he was mad. But my mom and the Dr. told him he really needed one. REMEMBER THIS PART FOR LATER: He told the us(you'll find out who later) he was really more embarrassed because he looks healthy and people might think he's using the wheelchair as a get to the front of the line pass.
Well we paid for the wheelchair for all the days we'd be there got our tickets and he jumped in with a groan.

Here is my first shot of the street at DHS, it's 1:30pm not too crowded, IMHO.

My husband, John, used to take 36 pills a day. Now, he's down to 31. It tooks years and years for the doctors to get the seizures under control using several different combinations of meds. I am just thankful they make medicines to control the seizures.

Looking forward to reading more.

Day 1 - Travel & DHS - Part 2

So I asked DB what he would like to do first. He said TOT because it was on one of the shows he watched. :scared1: *cringe* I didn't really want to do this first. But we walked that way, man why did i have to ask. OK, i could do it i could just walk on and it would be over in no time. The time said 20 mins, we continually walked until we were on it was more like 7 mins til we were done with the pre-show. We got on and we should have planned better. I couldn't find those little handholders haha, so I held onto DH instead, Very tightly as he recalls. (he had a bruise)sorry hunny...LOL WOW what a ride and when you don't hold on, WOW WOW what a ride...My brother loved it screamed nice and baritone-ee...LOL in my EAR... Our pic was terrible couldn't see us, didn't buy it. I personally kept screaming, my purse, it shouldn't be in front of my face....but wasnt' letting go to tuck it in my seatbelt....Got off my DH thought it was a awesome way to get the trip started, loved the themeing and that it was so much more then a ride. He continued to feel this way the entire trip. I was happy that they were happy.
RnRC was at 40 mins and we didnt' want to stand in line and we were saving our FP to see if TSM has any. Walked that way after a stop for Frozen Lemonade and a Pretzel to share.
DB ready to enter TOT, sans wheelchair

http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j160/apachegrl/Disneyworld%20May%202009/DisneyworldMay2009011.jpg

We did the TGHR, it was fun...DH not too impressed we got off and i said wanna ride it again? He said um nope....ok moving on. I loved it...
Went past TSM all the FP were gone for the day, but we were coming back Sat for Star Wars Weekends so we weren't too concerned. We hit Muppets next, we all loved it, i forgot how much I loved it. Came out and took this.

Me and my DB, AW, he put his arm around me...*sniff*
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j160/apachegrl/Disneyworld%20May%202009/DisneyworldMay2009014.jpg

We went and hit Star Tours, we had both been on it before. DH thought it was dated, hope the gossip is true and they redo this. Anybody have any news on that?
We then were going to hit the 4:30pm LMA Stunt show...on the way there had our pics taken on the Streets of America with our Photopass, we got to do a jaunty pose. Turned out good....
Got over to the show, went around to the wheelchair entrance on the far side. Got seated my DH was above us. Sat next to some nice ladies from the UK their husbands were above them, they kept teasing them...they were cute. The show started, it was very good....UNTIL
DB started to have a seizure, nothing to do but sit there with him. It went into a grand mal seizure started to get worried, the nice lady next to me; helped me hold him up because he was slumping forward. Found out later she was a nurse and had broken her foot two days before. I'm so glad she was there.
Just then it started to rain and they stopped the show, DB came out of the seizure and was out of it. The rain became a torrential downpour with sideways rain...and DB was freezing (i always took his fleece jacket with us after this). I FORGOT THE PONCHOS. WE were soaked..... and poor DB was shaking badly...I then looked my poor DB had lost control of his bladder while he was in his seizure, but OUR DISNEY MAGIC, we were soaked so no one knew. I was so glad he did have to be embarrassed. Anway rain subsided, we headed right out and he walked to the car and we went back to the room and he slept all bundled up. He said he felt fine just cold so bundled up at 6:30p so we left to go back to DHS for our 7:20pm ressie at 50s Prime Time Cafe. Got there with handicapped pass this time and grabbed the very nice parking wheelchairs(they have flags) and got into the park traded it for a park wheelchair. Got to the restaurant in plenty of time, sat in the living room and waited. DH saw a statue his grandma had at her house, I took a pic of him with it, but he deleted it only found out later. We were seated had Uncle Terry as our server he made us set the table with SUPER HOT just out of the washer silverware, he said it was chore slash torture...he was a Woot. We enjoyed him playing with the people seated a few mins after us. But he was nice to my DB and didn't bother him. My DB went to the bathroom and I called my mom and Uncle Terry didn't like that but i told him i had to call my mom to tell him about my brothers seizure and after that DB got a cute cupcake...he thought that was cool and never knew why...We will go back to this restaurant! it was good...
DB and I had the fried chicken, it was good and a lot of food, the pototoes were paste, ick... DH had the potroast and he said there wasnt' a bit of fat/gristle on it and he liked it. We shared the brownie sundae after we saw DB get a cupcake...we were jealous. $70 later before tip we were out of there. Went back to resort and went straight to bed, after all we had crossed two timezones and we had a EMH at MK the next day. We were beat!

Will DB be seizure free?
Will I get thru the day without crying for happiness?
Will we ever get to go on Splash? STAYED Tuned and find out... popcorn::

He takes about 12 pills a day....and they up it every month or so when he has a lot of seizures, my mother will be happy when they are able to get them under control. I'm never around him that much, but I saw first hand how medicated he seems on all those. He was getting tired of me asking him how he feels, I'd ask for an honest answer on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, how did he feel? He always answered 10, I think he was aggravated and tired of me...Oh well what are big sisters for. :confused3

Day 2 - MK EMH - Part 1

Our daily ritual began and worked out nicely. I would get up early because I was excited. I would shower, get dressed, slather on the SPF85 sunblock. And go get up DH he would do the same while i made his real coffee in that small coffee pot he'd make his with some left over for me. Then i'd get DB up last and he'd get ready, get his pills together. I wont' even go into how mad he was that i wouldn't let him take his pills at 7am EST since it was really 4am PST and would make him even more subseptible to having a seizure sometime during the day. I packed the ponchos, my 3x5 card with all my info for the day (secured from Disboards) THANKS DISBOARDS!!!. And water and let me tell you those 6 waters in that backpack were heavy until i could hang it on the back of the wheelchair, but was an outstanding savings since they were $2.49ea at the park...

Our goals, DH wanted Crocs which I knew from the boards were at MK. DB wanted a Hat and to be on the search for some good T-shirts, side note that boy had buko bucks saved I was impressed. Me I wanted to make it to RD and see the show... We had no ADR's for today but i knew we'd be eating at Pecos Bills CS since i had looked all the menus over and they had cheeseburgers and the "Bucket of meat" (Taco Salad) some had raved about. We were out of there in plenty of time to get there at EMH RP, I thought.
Driving there was easy, they waved us thru and we followed the Blue Handicapped Line they have to the Handicapped Parking, unloaded and walked since DB had said he didnt' want to ride in a wheelchair on the monorail that would be embarrassing and i just went with it, i can't fight every single thing. I wanted to ride the ferry but it didn't leave until 8:30a, Whatever, ruin my dream... When DH spies the Coffee Cart, so we had to stop get him an iced coffee and DB a giganto Cheese danish. me, i had trail mix, I was saving myself for churros, popcorn and dole whips.
We got in line for the Monorail to MK and waited :sigh: which gave me the perfect oppurtunity to take this.

DB looking chipper after his cheese danish, waiting for monorail
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j160/apachegrl/Disneyworld%20May%202009/DisneyworldMay2009021.jpg

It was getting close to RD and still no monorail just us and a long line, wasn't too upset becuase I can be a little "intense" when I want to get somewhere and do something. But I had vowed I'm not stressing out this trip and making anyone else stressed. We loaded rode into the Contemporary and I noticed all the happy people at Chef Mickey's the one ADR i wanted and couldn't get for dinner any night we were there.... OH, happy Chef Mickey people, I'll get there and be one of you, one day, in your oh so happy, and as i've read HOT and LOUD venue. :rotfl:

The hordes and us offloaded and walked down the ramp to the entrance. We all did bag check with no problem and walked into our second park. We walked directly to the Photopass people and there was only one person ahead of us, SCORE! That person said we didn't miss much as RD only 15 mins earlier because it was so crowded and loud it wasn't fun and they had been standing in line for photopass for 15 mins. So there no rope drop but no getting smushed up in a crowd either.... Got some great Pics (cant' wait til my CD gets here). I love the entrance, got a little teary but it passed, WOOHOO didn't Cry! I was so proud of myself!

Standard Pic you know, I had to
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j160/apachegrl/Disneyworld%20May%202009/DisneyworldMay2009024.jpg

Got a wheelchair and walked down Main Street
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j160/apachegrl/Disneyworld%20May%202009/DisneyworldMay2009028.jpg

OK, why not so many pictures. I was pushing wheelchair and taking pics going down Main Street and my DH came up and said you either take pics of you push the wheelchair. I asked if he could push and he said Yeah, but we're not doing this the whole trip. Taking pics and getting in peoples way. Well, I never.... he was using his serious voice. But i wasnt' in anyones way, and the wheelchair only got stuck in the trolley groove for a second...So, what if DB was mad that he would drift sideways every so often... So i curbed the Picture taking to make peace. It was hard to push with one had that wheelchair has a mind of it's own. OH Well.... He did push most of the time...and anything up hills (all of frontierland)...

Day 2 - MK - Part 2
When I left you I had just put away my camera to focus on pushing the wheelchair. I knew we'd be back that way in awhile and i'd get my picstures when the throngs entering the park had subsided.
We headed straight thru the castle on our way to get PP FP's. It's my favorite nostalgic ride. We left that and went straight to HM, the nice CM saw we had a wheelchair and motioned us to come with her. We park at the exit and waited for a few more who were to join us, once we had 13 people in a very short time she led us into the Servant's Entrance, as she made comments on the lucky number of people we had we were led straight into the main room for the HM pre-show. AWWW Air conditioning, it felt lovely...
Then off on our ride, I had already read about the upgrades they were great, loved the staircase...Great ride, we exited grabbed our wheelchair and we were off to Frontierland. Wow walking that way is up hill...and it was getting hotter....We got to TMRR and rode it, quite a long line and my first experience this trip with the winding lines, it was fun. Reminded me of My little sister and I riding TMRR at Disneyland and we'd high five everythime we'd pass each other in line, which you did often winding back and forth, we rode that ride over and over...good times.
I rode with my brother this time we were in the back, super fun! He loved that he could "accidentally" squish me on the turns. We got off went to go over to Splash, realized it was a 30 min. line and that we couldn't get FP's yet because our weren't up yet. So we wandered back over to get our Piract fix on PotC! LOVED it all the updates which i had yet to see were great!
By this time I realized we need to go get DB his GAC, search for some Crocs and then go back to PP to use our FP's. Headed back to the front of the park and got the GAC very easily and it made me feel better just to have it. We all used the facilities and were off to do some shopping. DH found what he wanted DB found a hat he couldn't live without and i just waited with an empty wheelchair, good thing it was too early in the shops to be too crowded.
I could see DH heading back over after stopping to put on his new Crocs, while scanning the area with my eyes to look for DB, DH comes up and says you saw that girl by the Crocs, i think she was hitting on me. She said i had great legs, practically every thing but "Hey Baby, how you doin?". I just looked over and said, she's just being nice....OR WAS SHE...? LOL :lmao:
He does have nice legs...
Found DB loaded up and went outside to see the Main Street Dancers singing DB's favorite song, which i had no idea until he starts singing it, and says I know this song...you knew...
We took some pics...
Then we bumped into this photopass guy, who took these.

REserved room thru smallworldvacations.com, becasue I couldn't find any news on 2010, and i knew if it was Value season i had to get my ressie in. So contacted small world and she told me I could book the space until prices come up! WOOHOO, i've decided to let them take care of everything!
NOW I'M SO HAPPY!!! :yay::yay:
Only DH and I are going back, it was fun with DB but we are going back with nobody to worry about! Told my mother she supports our plan and is very excited for us!
OK, BACK TO TRIP REPORT NOW THAT I'M MOTIVATED !!! :tigger::tigger:

Hip Hip Hooray! You're going back to WDW! Nothing can cure the post trip blues like planning another trip!

We then walked over to the Tiki Room got in for the next show pretty quickly, great timing....becasue we had the wheelchair we got a good spot right next to the exit. I have to say I personally like the old Tiki Show, they did 30 seconds of my Tiki song.. WAHHHH it was my favorite. Oh well, i'm still glad we went. We left and headed back over to Fantasyland to use our PP FP's. Got over there walked up to wheelchair entrance and gave her our FP's. We waited while some people got off. The people ahead of us had a screaming 10 or 11 yr old, thinking back maybe he had ADD or ADHD, but he was screaming and kicking and at the point he was being dragged onto PP he was and stiff as a plank board, the boy did not want to go on there. HELP ME!!! NO!!! I SAID I DIDN'T WANT TO GO ON THIS!....the MOM was telling the CM "He's going on this" the CM didn't say a thing but they did have to stop the ride for them to get on....NOW we know why it's so crowded...:lmao: The CM walking back to us while they were really nice to the family, were shaking their heads to us, LIke OMG.... it was pretty funny...PP is my favorite ride, I've ridden with both grandparants and my Dad now they are all gone so it's a special ride for me....Them holding me and pointing to all the things i could look at. Well it was ruined by that kid screaming in the dark, HELP ME! LET ME GO!! STOP IT! STOP THE RIDE! I WANT TO GET OFF! OH goodness, DH was laughing like crazy telling what a good story this will be for his best friends. He shut up near the end and we could enjoy it. As we got off and walked out he was in the alcove of the exit hysterically crying on the ground with both parents trying to calm him down. Anyway...whatever... We turned and went over to Small World, again i got teary as it's my grandmas favorite ride and she's been dead 6 months so you know it was hard. I looked over the boys both were dozign the whole ride. :) haha After that we went to go eat, at Pecos Bill, the boys got Cheesburgers, i got a Bucket of Meat (taco Salad) it was ok, it looks just like that too until you go to the fixins' bar and well fix it up. It made me not hungry anymore which was good. The seating was crowded and we went right at 11:15ish... We talked about how much we had gotten done, and made plans of what to do next. Left went to SM to get FP's as line for 50 mins long. As we left there the Train conductor asked if we wanted to ride the train? WE said, WHY YES WE DO WANT TO... So he led us to the wheelchair entrance and we waited for the train, there were lots of lizards to watch scurrying along the tracks... The train only took about 7 mins to get to us, we loaded up and rode over to ToonTown and got off and took the nice uncrowded walkway behind the speedway to Tomorrowland. We took a quick bathroom break and I went over to see about Carousel of Progress, it only had one CM there and so i knew the ride must be down. He said yes it was down should be up later. So we went to SGE, it was Ok, i actually liked alien adventure better..and that Burp was Gross..ick! We got off that and went to Buzz, we stood in our longest line of the day 30 mins SHOCK AND AWE!! My brother was very droopy looking...we discussed leavign and coming back...but just then a CM walked down the line saying that MK was going to stay open an extra 2hrs. tonight! YAY US.... We decided to stay for Buzz and leave and come back...Buzz was fun but it was hard to hit the targets. We got off and headed out that was 1:30pm. Along with everyone else who found out it was open late, went back to the resort and we all fell asleep so fast in our sub zero room, we had to turn down the air conditioner lest we freeze.... haha. A nice storm raged outside and made it even easier to sleep.
Woke up at 3:30pm, jumped in and out of shower and got ready to go to dinner OFFSITE :scared1:
Left on our way to Manny's Chophouse which got rave reviews from some Disers on the Budget board, now it's in Haines City about 20 miles away but I knew we wouldn't be disappointed. It was delicious and the rain carried on while we were in there that was wonderful... The steak was huge and so well flavored and we got out of there at $50 without tip...wowo, our cheapest dinner to date... haha
Our plan was to go directly back to MK and get everythign else done and watch Wishes. We got back into the park at 7pm and it had just got done raining...went over to SM and it was closed because of lightning. So we went and were Forced to ride BTMRR which was great. then it started raining. and BTMRR closed so we coulnd't go on it again. Went into the Brier patch gift shop and looked around along with all the others, one of our $1 ponchos ripped. And DH said just buy the Disney ones, which I did, Best money we spent, they worked well... SM and BTMRR were still closed so we decided to walk slowly to fantasyland hit whatever we could and then we'd be in tthe vicinity for Wishes. PP was back at 70 mins so that was out, wasnt' going to make the boys go on SW again. Decided to hit Snow White, it was fun, I was so scared of it when i was little. Then we did Philharmagic, OH Man this is our new #1 favorite, Wonderful...DH loved it... decided to go get a Wishes spot and did in the round in front of the castle. DB had to go potty of course 5 mins before it started. So i had to run him over to the noodle place he was fast though and we made it back with a minute to spare. WISHES was wonderful.
This little Portugese girl in a MInnie outfit screamed and cried the whole show though and kept saying what sounded like "Cannon" it was very funny and DH had to get a small recording of it, She did not enjoy the fireworksm that was behind us.
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j160/apachegrl/Disneyworld%20May%202009/th_DisneyworldMay2009267.jpg (http://s79.photobucket.com/albums/j160/apachegrl/Disneyworld%20May%202009/?action=view&current=DisneyworldMay2009267.flv)
To our left was a Australian family that had wandered over and their son had no poncho but everyone else had a Disney one and he whined and whined and cried "I'm cold" that he wanted a poncho. Come to find out when his mom was int he bathroom he took his slightly ripped poncho off and thrown it away and Mom was not going to buy another. He hung on her and whined it was disturbing and she looked like it was the last straw for her. So after he had detached(and moved away) after Wishes, i walked over and asked if she would like one of our $1 Ponchos for him as we had upgraded. She was so appreciative she gave me a hug and said that would be wonderful because she wanted to do a few more things and they would of had to leave. I said anything to make her night a little more magical...Gave her the poncho, we waited for people to leave..Glanced around and they were a little down the street that MOM smacked her son on the bottom, pulled him around to talk to him, and then started putting the Poncho on him. Way to go MOM! So yay we spread Magic too...
We headed over the bridge back to tomorowland and Went to Monsters Laugh Floor, Oh man we laughed and laughed, it was great! After that went back to Carousel of Progress which was now open and us and 6 others got on our ride back in time! by the end we were all singing that song it was so fun! After that we went back over to Frontierland to go on SM and BTMRR.
YAY they were open and both walk on's.... SM was awesome and it was DH's first time so it was funny to trick him that every fall was the big one! Yeah he didnt' appreciate that. When it came time for the big fall I was so scared I forgot how much i don't like it...until it's over...LOL DH and DB loved it of course. Got off and had to get a copy of the pic becasue DB looks like a poster child for that ride, like he should be on commercial, it's very cute.
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j160/apachegrl/Disneyworld%20May%202009/SlashWDWMay20090001.jpg
and he got a Splash Mountain T-shirt. We went over to BTMRR and rode again, wonderful and we love it at night, so differnent. We had the last two rides on BTMRR of the night! THAT'S RIGHT we closed MK. the CM said we could leave the wheelchair at the ride and they would take it back. So we did that and DB walked out. We got some great pictures from the photopass girl in front of the castle, it was great! You'll see we're all wet from SM...

We then walked very slowly out!!! it was a great night, Drove out and back at the resort, we got in bed and were all out in a matter of minutes. NeXT up EPCOT, Teppan Edo...Do we stay seizure free? STAY TUNED....

Day 3 - Epcot - Part 1

I will post pics as soon as I get home from work. Doing both at work just isn't working, haha

Wow we were tired on Wednesday but we had things to do! We all agree it felt like today was the hottest day but it could've just been us. We got to EPCOT and missed rope drop but only by like 30mins. We got in made a beeline to get the wheelchair and went on over to Soarin to get FP's. I heard it's all uphill and didnt want to push the wheelchair in so, i just sent in DH. I thnk DB was made at me for getting the wheelchair again but I ignore him, so he's not good company while we wait for 15mins for DH to get back with FP's, he said thre were lines for FP's in there and he got in the line that didn't move, poor guy. We just stood in the shade and people watched, it was kinda nice. Our passes were for noon and it was only 9:30 so not too bad. We went on over to the SEA for a little Nemo and Friends action, after a nice walk thru the air condition non-exsistent line we loaded into our clam shells. While not a blow your mind away ride, it was cute, i'd do it again... we de-clammed and walked out to await Turtle Talk w/Crush. OMG this was hilarious. The little kid interaction with Crush was too funny. Will do this again too because each time would be different (kid interaction). We left there, didn't go to the tanks because It looked crowded, I walked thru the gift shop to see if they had any Pearl(small octopus character) and didnt' see her. Got tired of waiting for our turn in front of the Attaction sign out front so no good pic there. We walked thru the walkway and you could see the line for the character greeting but we didnt' stop. I wanted to get DB a FP for the Kim Possible missions. WE got it a FP to pick up our communicator in Italy which was perfect. Now it was time for Test Track! woohoo!, we went over and Standby was 40 min wait, so we decided to hope in the single rider line since i remember from some Diser's posting you are often times in the same car. it was a nice 15 min wait. We got into the pre-show and we're used to the "Disney Way" you stand for the little pre-show as the excitement builds and then you move to the ride. Well you can just walk thru the show and that's what everyone did, so finally we decided too to....what rebels we are.
Got in line and wited less then 5 mins to get our car. DB and I were in the first and DH was in the one behind. MY thoughts? it was an OK ride, and upon more reflection, i think it's because I kinda got motion sick, just like i would in a car. The outside track ride was spectacular but again got a little ill. So to me it was an OK ride. We unloaded and waited for DH, so we missed our pics, or they were just changing when DH got off because we waited for him. Dang it, we should have waited down in by the ride pics... oh well, He did not want his pic so I didn't photopass it. He thought it was just ok as well. We still had time before our FP for Soarin so we decided to go over to Spaceship Earth, it said it was a 20min wait so we jumped in line. I realized I hadn't been taking that many pics so I took some pics while we waited. The boys were thrilled. haha

A shot of the day's footwear...DH yelling now in the backround "Real Men Wear Crocs"!! LOL

DH not so happy with all the pic taking...And OH, DH would like to give a shout out to the Brave man wearing his daughters Pink Princess backpack...DH says that man is secure with his manhood...LOL
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j160/apachegrl/Disneyworld%20May%202009/DisneyworldMay2009045.jpg
We were on it 17mins woohoo! We got in our vehicle and got to do all that fun stuff on the touchscreen...and began our journey..Love it in there so slow and peaceful...Toward the end we got to help create our future, complete with my silly face I made..DH loved his Stick body and felt he could be very happy with it... DB was behind us so i don't know what his furture was, he was still being moody. Got off and briefly wandered around the exit before moving on. It was time for Soarin! made the trek back over there and stood in about a 15 mins line to get on, We were unfortunetly in Row 3 the lowest one, so we saw everyone's feet. I was so nervous, i hate not knowing what a ride is going to do. Wow it was so fun and not a shock to the nerves, I liked it. DH thought it was OK he said next time we'd stand around and wait for Row 1 - Woohoo, wouldn't you know it we're going back in Jan 2010 so we'll be able to do that. We exited our Flight thru Cali and walked on over to The Land ride, again it was about a 15 min wait in standby. The first part kinda hokey but the greehouses those were great! we loved it...DH really like it. DB he thought it was boring but he's moody...so we didnt' care.

It was 12:30 and we had a 3:15pm ressie at Teppan Edo, our one big splurge of the vacation as far as meals go. So we headed on out to the World Showcase....we stopped for some nice pics, loved the flowers and the garden areas they were beautiful.
We walked into Mexico, we didnt' stop we were headed to Norway and onto Italy to get the Kim Possible. But it's ok we'll stop on our next trip. Walked to Norway and it started to rain, how cool...just in time to run into Maelstrom. I like Maelstrom, we all liked it... we even stopped and watched the film at the end because we could sit down. haha..
We didnt' stop in China - I know what loosers...and i don't really get that area the "outpost" between China and Germany? Did they run out of countries? In Germany the only thing I did was stop and cancel my ressie at Biergarten I was on the phone with reservations for 20 mins when my phone died so i was kinda in a rush to get over there and to cancel in time for them to be able to get someone else in.

OOPs, have to get back to this later, I have to get something here at work done before lunch. BRB..

Day 3 - Epcot - Part 2
-Just a note - I've tried adding pics today and either the photobucket site is having problems or something else is wrong, I can't get all of the added. I'll try at work.

Also work has gotten much busier so I'm getting no time to stop and do a TR update, so I apologize. OK, continuing on...

We left Germany and trudged to Italy to pick up DB's Kim Possible communicator. I asked him to pick it up and take with us to Japan, since we were going to hang out and look at everything as well as have lunch. He did a couple mission as we hung around outside in Japan, then one took him somewhere I dont know where because he walked away and I lost him. He was gone for about 15mins and I was getting scared, what if he was somewhere having a seizure, yadda yadda...He wandered back 15 mins later and told me to chill out..."Chill out" exact words...whatever. We wander back inside he does the I think final mission in the big store (sorry can't remember name off top of my head) then he found a place to return the communicator, it was a cute little secret deposit rocklike lantern, it was out of the way and drew no attention, I can only think it's like that so no one try's to break in and steal any. Anyway he had fun and got to do the whole one mission. DH had taken the camera to get shots of the Samurai in the Gatehouse of the Castle in Japan, he LOVES Japanese anything... We sat on a bench and rested, boy I was tired. We went into the store for a slow browse, bought some very nice chopsticks as both DH and I use them alot to put up our hair while mowing lawn, other stuff...And I bought some neat fruit candy.
It was time for our Reservation so we walked up the stairs to the second floor above the gift shop and Entered. I didnt' know that upstairs housed both Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining which is mainly sushi. The cute little hostess gave us a beeper and we sat in the sitting area to wait to be seated. Across is the seating for Tokyo Dining and they had just started a little tutorial on how they made sushi there, it was on a big screen that you could watch and see how theyworked. It was some kinda of squid roll, I wasn't paying attention to DB, he was annoying my anyhow. But I glanced over and he's watching them on the screen and leans over and says I don't see one thing here I want to eat. He doesn't eat seafood, actually neither do I. But he looked like terrible...LOL it was so funny. So i had to assure him we were going to the other side where they served chicken and steak. He said he'd believe it when he saw it.
Our beeper when off we walked to be seated with a nice looking family. They were quiet, you could tell they didn't want to talk so we didn't. I did tell my DB not to crowd the grandmother that was next to him and she spoke up and said he was fine so they were nice. We did actually laugh together over a couple cute things their kids said...but never really bonded. OH well, our chef came and DB was so happy he could have steak and chicken, which is what all the adults at our table had, our chef made fun of us. It was a great time and the food was good and with very little seasoning, it was just cooked well. I only got one shot of the table. This was our most expensive meal $107 before tip, but it was worth it, I'd go back.
We left and I believe it got hotter while we were in there, we walked to Morocco and decided we were tired, so we hopped on the boat that took us back to the entrance to the world showcase. We were tired. We exited the park after we got some photopass pictures. Again i'll post those as soon as Photobucket lets me.
In the car we discussed that next trip we do world showcase first becuase we skipped so much. So that's the plan for Jan 2010, we are going to Epcot first! It deserves to be explored not deplored by this family, i feel we judge it by all the walking.
Let's see we went back to the room and instead of taking a nap we changed and went swimming. Oh My, nothing has ever felt better, when you are tired and hot it's just the ticket. We swam for about 35mins and headed to the hot tub which at POFQ is so cute it's in a little bricked alcove nice and secluded. We sat in there only about 10 mins because it was hot...headed back to the room and WE NAPPED... we didn't eat dinner, per se because we were stuffed from our 3:15pm late lunch. We woke up late we wanted to go to the Swan for Karaoke at Kimonos Lounge. I thought it was at 8:00pm but UH Oh, it was at 9:30pm, my bad. So we had to go to the trendy lounge attached to Il Mulino New York Trattoria we had some excellent drinks and ordered one of there small pizzas to split, see we were just trying to kill time. Again perfect timing as it started to pour outside and we had a birdeye view of people running for cover. We had successfully dodge another downpour bullet! YAY US...
Finally it was 9:15pm and we thought it was safe to wander the way of Kimonos for a little Karaoke.
It was quite trendy itself, has vintage kimonos hanging up, very nice in there. The KJ(Karaoke Jockey) had just passed out books so we sat and took a look. There was a boy that came in with his mom and you could tell this is what he wanted to do. I don't blame him we Karaoke a couple time a week at home, DH sings everynight. We each were able to get in a couple of songs and it was nice kids could sing too, that one boy sang three times and he was good. We were sitting in front of him so we all talked and he sings all the time at home. We had a great time but we were still tired and we had to get up for our 8:40am O'hana breakfast...So we headed out to go back to the room at about 11pm. YAWN.....
-DB had no seizures today at all and seemed ok if a little moody... I thought we were going to luck out!
-DH said his favorite part of Epcot is Spaceship earth. For that and the fact it was super hot that day i have to take him back. He has to love Epcot.....like I love Epcot..WAHHH....
-next up O'hana and our Universal Thursday
Thanks for sticking with me everyone :)

Pretty much after lunch we were hot and now stuffed and tired. So we headed back to the our room for some pool time and a little nap.
And her are all the photopass pics in one spot. We got these on the way out, no line, very nice!

OH OH, I basically call them the Squinty Eye Family Photos....look at that sheen of sweat on me...HOT I tell you HOT!!

Hey girl! I've been wondering where you were. Glad to hear it was just work and nothing medically wrong with anybody. I look forward to reading an update.

HI, again I apologize, we've been reducing people and i"ve had to do mandatory travel, with a laptop but little to only sporadic internet connection. Getting tired, seeing the midwest though... :D HOpe to get back to this soon...like in an airport on something like my hundreth layover...*sigh*

Love your trip report and pics, can't wait to hear more.

*My brother also has epilepsy and I completely understand how you felt when your DB disappeared while doing the KM mission. When my brother wanders away (and he does this often and without thinking about it) I worry that he may be having a seizure somewhere and no one is there to help him. He has broken his nose a couple of times when falling while alone having a seizure and when he comes out of the seizure he tends to be a little confused so I worry that he won't know where he is.
