This chat thread seems to have almost gone full circle.
I've just been for a trip in my time machine back to the first chat thread so I could look something up.
On my way, I discovered the following random information:
1 - This is now chat thread number 11
2 - The first chat thread was called "OT - My name is Emma..." and was created as somewhere to admit that we were addicted to thread hijacking.
We seem to have gone almost full circle only this one appears to be everybody admitting our Disney addiction.
Guess I'll join in - my name is Rob and it's been far too long since my last Disney fix - over 5 months now :scared1: :faint:

I might go soon to play sims 3 though - it's a very big addiction!!!
My journalist lady is almost top of her career, and she keeps interviewing the rich people all around town, and then snooping through their bins and writing juicy stories on them.
Also she just started having an affair with a married woman she worked with (i wasn't going down the gay route, but 'kiss hannah' became on of her wishes, so who was I to deny her? (Plus hannah looks like princess Giselle, so I really want to play her, which I can if they move in together) So they kissed and now my journalist lady convinced her to leave her husband, but know I'm scared he'll come round and beat my lady up!!

Dear Small World,
this letter is to "request" that you make a number of edits to your posts. For you see, I know your secret identity. So, I am offering you a simple choice - change your posts to make it look like I was the one who went back to the first thread, else I will be forced to reveal your secret identity to the world (evil laugh).

Dear Mr Stitch
Sorry to have been faster than you to post that info but yes i will admit it - it was indeed you who found the info about how many threads there have been and how many pages of chat and revealed them to me through a secret means. Im not clever enough to find that info myself as you know. (I can only count to 10 for a start :rotfl:)
Please dont reveal my secret identity to the world :worship:

It's a little like msn messenger if you're familiar with that, but it's designed for talking by voice (like a telephone).
Basically, you install it and register for it (it's free) and somebody else does the same. You can then click on them to call them and chat using a microphone and speakers (both of these are usually built into modern laptops) and it's free to do that.
You can also use it to make cheap phone calls from abroad to real phone numbers. I used it in America to call home and it cost about 1p a minute, rather than nearly £1 a minute from my mobile.

It is, my dad keeps saying its a great time for me as i'm a 1st time buyer but I won't get much mortgage. I have saved a fair bit but need to save more.
I also need to see where i'm going to be based as thats a big factor to where I move too. I have put in my request to stay where I am now after I finish my driving, i'm pretty positive I will get it too as they have already got rid of 3 people who are my rank so hopefully I can slot into replace one of them

My game is a lot more tame than yours, but then I don't play very often. I'm eyeing up a new mac with the sims in mind to play on it at the moment.
What also doesn't help is that I have to share it with DB so only get maybe 15 minutes at a time before I have to give it up. Because we play in the same town, I don't see my sim too much, yet he's probably aging quite a lot now as DB plays for quite a while while
What I might do at some point is restart in my own town :thumbsup2

Haha I was just the same when we bought ours! Honestly though I would start looking really early - we looked for months before we even decided what we wanted, and we looked at brand new, old etc ... it just depends on what is important for you :thumbsup2
The house 3 doors from mine sold in 10 days from going up on sale and has gone for £25,000 more then what we paid for ours 2 years ago. In my job we monitor all the house sales and transactions are really starting to pick up. I've said this before but its newly built flats that are the problem. Too many have been built and lots of them in urban areas have lost 50% of their original value that has dragged down a lot of the other stats.

Haha, smart!
I don't let jack anywhere near my town.
He's made an obese woman with a monobrow and bad perm called Bhuna Tucket, I don't let him put wierdo's in my town.
In sims 2 he made an ex-army sargeant who lived in a caravan park and only wore y-fronts. The guy went mad and kept hallucinating and seeing a big pink bunny everywhere.
He also made a guy who got abducted by aliens and then had twin alien babies, one of whom grew up to marry a robot he made....
That is all forbidden from my games!

I've seen a dress that says s(6-6x) on the label. When you bought your dresses what did they say on their labels? My DD is 4 but shes tall so not sure if would fit.
i would think the 6-6x would be quite big. how tall is your dd. do you want me to measure one of my 4-5 dresses for you? where are you getting it from ebay?

Its a blue cinderella one. Think it looks similar to Ash's one. Its lovely:love:
I need to stop buying dressing up stuff but I dont have cinderella or a tinkerbell yet:rolleyes1
When I did the list yesterday I forgot Stitch, Jessie, Lilo, Aurora and Buzz Lightyear. Oh and Belle and Ariel from when my oldest was little. Think I could open my own shop:rotfl2:
Some people are just annoying and should mind their own business. I find old ladies the worst:mad: Once when DD was stripping off her clothes in the trolley in Sainsbury's and throwing them out(as you do:rolleyes1) A lady came over and pointed out that she was naked - like I hadn't noticed I then had to explain I was ignoring her behaviour!

oh lord that would have been funny to see. if its the wdw dress then there are two available ashleighs is the newest one but the older one is gorgous as well. are you getting a good deal on it? it sounds like if your dd is that tall then maybe 4-5 wouldnt fit. they are big on ash but she is only 2 1/2. i would email the seller and get the precise measurements. that way you will know for sure

Thanks...it really hasn't been easy! We had a few differences of opinions but the one that we have gone for the LL is replacing the carpets throughout and the bathroom (as we asked him to) before we move in. The new one has a cellar and a conservatory so it's much larger than the one we liked in Strood that was being totally gutted and re-built.

Jeepers! I'm a deputy supervisor at a pre-school here in Cheshire - currently we are £8.50 a session (2 1/2 hours) which for 5 sessions would be £42.50 per week - 75 euros seems very expensive unless their hours are a lot longer of course!

i know is that for 5 morns? grace is starting in sept too it 70euro and ava is already going 3 morns for 50euro. im going to keep ava at 3 morn so she can hav some mommy alone time for the extra 2 morns grace is in playschool. doe is that free playschool scheme still going ahead that our lovely goverment were planning:confused3 if it is aleast ashleigh and grace will be free from jan:cool1:
yeah its starting in jan for kids aged 3 years and 3 months. ash wont be that age yet but i will get the next year free. you only get one year free. although i was reading that they will pay 48 euros or something a week per child. so im not sure if we will have to pay something towards it. the preschool said once the free preschool comes out the hours might change. as now its for three and a half hours a day. and i still have to get ash potty trained oh the stress lol

Jeepers! I'm a deputy supervisor at a pre-school here in Cheshire - currently we are £8.50 a session (2 1/2 hours) which for 5 sessions would be £42.50 per week - 75 euros seems very expensive unless their hours are a lot longer of course!
its for three and a half hours which i think is a bit long for young kids but what can you do. everything in general is stupid expensive in ireland no wonder i dont get so shocked at dlrp prices :lmao:

Good luck, and don't get disheartened, just keep on plugging away. It isn't unusual to apply for over 100 jobs, it isn't you, it's mostly just luck and good presentation which gets you the interview. Presentation of your CV and letter is very important at this stage (I'm sure I'm preaching to the converted here!). When I interview for the admin assistant role in our office, which needs a French speaking graduate, we always get at least 150 applications and I can always chuck at least half of them in the bin at first sight. (Mental note: if going for an admin role at least get your admin right!)

Had a really busy day. At work all day, then had visit to DD's new school and then a course for work from 4-6. After that I rushed in a panic to Matalan cause we're havin a Hawaiian day tomorrow at nursery and I hunted everywhere for DD's Lilo outfit last night but couldn't find it anywhere. Found my grass skirt and flowery bra so I'm sorted:lmao:
Anyway Matalan sold out so opted for flower lei's with new shorts and sunglasses.
Get home. Then have brainwave Lilo outfit is in car boot. Just about the only place I never looked:mad:

It's been super long for me too rob!
It's time for all the premier and football league officials to do all their kit orders, so I have to make sure 330 people get all of their kits and training wear and stuff in the right sizes.....some of them change their minds about 3 times as to which size they need!
It's funny thoughm the really famous guys are super nice and helpful, and the ones that are really full of themselves and demandy are like the new football league linesmen who think they're something special now they get free stuff. I guess it's to be expected though, like how year 8's are once the new year 7s start and they aren't the littlest in the school anymore.
