Here are the URLs for two reputable discount ticket sales places that many here on the DIS have used in the past:

http://www.ticketmania.com

http://www.undercovertourist.com

Also, check out your AAA office.... AAA offices sometimes (but not always) have discounted tickets. And there is a military discount if you either of you adults is a member of the military.

Regarding tickets... you can save $$$$ (even at full price) if you are willing to get Basic MYW tickets. Park Hopping (the ability to go to more than one park each day) can add up (around $40 per person). It's often cheaper to get an extra day on your tickets (say 6 days instead of 5) instead of getting the hopping option. But, you'll need to plan your park attendance accordingly. If a particular park is only doing their nighttime show on two days of your stay, without Hopping, you'll want to go to that park on one of those two days if you want to see the show at night. Also, if you can do without the "extras" of waterparks and DisneyQuest, you'll save money there. Since it's your first visit, you'll probably find plenty to do without going to those places.

I hope this helps. And welcome to the DIS!

Typically, the best prices are found by getting the www.mousesavers.com newsletter and following the enclosed link to undercovertourist.com. However, since you are short on time you might want to just look at undercovertourist's website and see how much the price differential would be compared to buying them at the gate. I'm not sure how much it would cost to ship tickets to you this late in the game and it may negate any savings you would've gotten compared to gate pricing at WDW. Good luck!

Undercover Tourist (http://www.undercovertourist.com/united-states/florida/orlando/attractions/tickets/) has a good discount. Alot of people on these boards use them. Very reputable, I've never had a problem.

Do you happen to subscribe to Mousesavers email newsletter? If so, she has a link in there to them with a little bit more of a discount. If not it would be too late to subscribe for this trip, but maybe for next time.

Note: when comparing prices at different places make sure you take into account added taxes and shipping. At first one might look better, but in the end they are more. The above site price includes tax and regular shipping. I think you would want to pay extra for quick ship, or you can pick up free at some locations in Orlando. Here is their shipping info: UCT Shipping (http://www.undercovertourist.com/united-states/florida/orlando/attractions/tickets/#shipping)

Sorry you had a bad deal at first, hope you have a great trip though!
