Cruises at a Discount?!!!

I am wanting to book two cruises on the Magic for April 5, 03, and I'm running into some HIGH prices...can anybody give info on any discounts they may have gotten....Thanks so much!!!

are you just using the Disney Web site? Sometimes TAs can offer a better price than what you can get going directly through Disney. Of course you are close to the spring break time, and that would also cause you to pay a higher price. Try checking a couple other dates close to that time, and see if the price will come down for you if you can be a little flexible in your travel dates.

COSTCO !! I've booked 2 cruises with them now, and I've not found better rates anywhere. Give them a try.

FYI - earlier this year DCL ran a special "Springtime Magic" price for the time of 4/6/02-5/18/02 - $799/adult $399/3-12 (7 day) - you may want to contact DCL to find out if this special is a typical sale they have every year. If so, you can book with just a deposit and wait until the rate comes down - people from these boards have said DU adjusts the price for special offers so you won't lose out. It would be in your time frame. We're hoping they will have some special offers next March. :D

The only difference between this year and next year is that Easter is later next year. It's April 20, 2003 & it was March 31 in 2002. I have no idea how Disney prices their cruises, but I'm sure holidays have something to do with it.

Yes, you must be a member. A membership is $48.00 for 2 cards.

If you just want a qoute ask family or friends to use their Membership # Then buy one if the Cruise price is great . Or you can refund the membership fee if you buy one and the cruise fare is not such a deal . Good luck .
