First things First- I want to say sorry it has taken me sooo long to start this. It seems that ever since we returned home there has been constant chaos and one thing after another.

At first, my plan was to edit all my pictures before I started my TR.. well I'm only at 200 and we have like 900.. soo I guess I'm going to edit as we go. I don't change all the pictures, but I like to make them look the best that they can.. its an annoying habit. Plus, I don't plan on posting all the pictures.. soo hopefully this will make it quicker.

These last couple weekends, DH and I have been constantly going. Over the weekend, we watched his 3 siblings all weekend while his mom was up north at a job interview. They have the internet.. but like theres time to sit down and type. pfff.

For those of you that are just joining.. I'll give a little intro of DH and I. If you'd like you can read my PTR. (There's a link on my signature)

:ccat:Me-Hola!:wave2: I'm Jen! I'm 25 years young.. though I feel old. ;) I'm still a full time student graduating in Spring 2011 for secondary Education.. only 3 more semesters! YIPPY! I won't get into the fact that I've been going since Fall2002 and I'm still not graduated.. we will just skip that part. hehe As for Disney, I have always loved it. Growing up, I loved all the disney movies and held a special place in my heart. My family and I went to Disney World 1 time- but we only visited MK and we didn't stay onsite.. so I don't consider it visiting WDW per say. hehe I feel in love and always wanted to go back.

:eeyore:DH-Austin but best known as Austy. He an huge UFC fan, and loves playing guitar. He likes to write songs and lyrics.. but not always together and he rarely remembers them later. hehe He also loves fishing! Which just kind of happened over the past 2 years. Growing up, DH only went to FL once, and never to Disney World.

DH and I have been together for 7 years (YESTERDAY!! June 7th:lovestruc) but we celebrated it early obviously.. from May 19th-25th)

Our first trip was Jan. 2005. He liked it a lot. and loveddd Florida.

And we got married last summer 2008.

So I can truly say now.. Happy 1 Year Anniversary.. although it does sound weird because its not 1 year it 7.. hehe so I've been saying Happy 1 Year Wedding Anniversary! hehe

Ok- for the trip- we were going to celebrate our 1 year Anniversary.. because originally we were suppose to go for our honeymoon last summer and things happened and we had to post pone the trip. We still went to Mackinac Island.. which was very nice! But not as nice as Disney World in Florida. hehe

Ok I'm going to post this.. and then start on the night before we left. idk if will get to WDW or not the first post.. but we made it.. don't worry! :rotfl:

Hey guys- I wanted to repost the "return" posting from my PTR.. So that way anyone that is just joining will get a little fill on the trip. So some of you might of already read this.

We're finally home. and we had a great time of course! Actually I'm not sad to leave Disney World- I was really sad to leave Florida- just because of how much DH and I love it there and want to live there. But with all the rain- the constant running back and forth- being cooped up in our room a lot- not being able to swim much- and so forth- made it less sad to leave.. I was mostly sad when we left MK and my DH said "Bye Magic Kingdom" and I said awww..

There was A LOT of rain and it kind of messed up our schedule but we tried to make the best of it and appreciated the nonrainy weather when it was here. I was talking to this lady in line and she said she comes this time every year and it never rains that bad.. soo I guess we just got lucky.. But on a good note, with rain in all- DH and I had a great time! He told me many times throughout this week that this was the best vacation he has ever been on. We both loved the dining plan, most of out food places, and the stress of not having to worry about food money was awesome! hehe DH said he was thankful for all the planning I did- because our trip was great. So I'm happy! Plus, I was surprised with how long our days seemed. They didn't seem like they rushed AT ALL.. it was weird.. but great!

We did most of the things we wanted- multiple times.. there was only a few things we didn't get to do because of weather. When I start my trip report- I'll give a my thoughts on Pop Century and a few other things..

But just for fun I'll let you all know- My favorite ride was Soarin!!! It was the first time I ever rode it and only got to ride it once this trip.. but it was amazing.. and we were placed in the FRONT seat.. idk if that makes a difference but it was GREATTT! Ok let me load all my pics and edit them and then I'll get started!

I did take pictures of all my food.. I think.. hehe and I took many pictures of scenery and such and I ended up with like 800 maybe.. idk but even though I felt like I was taking pictures constantly.. it didn't feel like a lot but I hear so many others taking like 2000 pictures.. but I tried! hehe I think in the future I won't take as many pictures of the attractions and things.. because I already have them.. but I want more pictures of DH and I.

Also, I officially know that DH is a disney world lover now! Because he said many times during this trip- "we will just have to come back sooner than we thought because of the rain- thats a good enough reason to come back right?" and "we need to try and come back this winter" and "yes i love disney, this place is awesome.. except for DHS- I hate that place" hehe

OK Soo.. I am going to try and RETYPE my first post of the night before and day we left. Hopefully it will work this time.

The night before, was actually not that bad. When Austy got home from work we went and bought any last minute thing. I didn't really have to pack because I spent most of the day packing. DH just checked over everything and made sure "I" packed everything he needed/wanted, besides bathroom stuff. After dinner and shopping.. I layed around and reread all of our trip plans, then we watch part of the WDW travel planning DVD, and part of Sleeping Beauty before we both feel asleep. Now I was really surprised with how easy we both fell asleep. But I think that it wasn't as hard because we weren't leaving that morning, we we weren't super nervous about flying yet.

The next morning--
DH got up at 5:30am, I made his lunch and coffee, and whisked him off to work.;) While I laid back down and tried to make myself fall back asleep. After laying there for almost an hour I told myself- look if you get up now the day is going to be even slower, and you are going to be so tired tonight.. and we were going to be flying at night and wouldn't get there til 1130pm. Around 7am I finally fell back asleep and was awake again by 8am.. so I said FINE I'll get up.

My bro came over bright and early because the UFC game was coming out for Xbox360 today (conviently on the same day we were leaving for Disney and DH insisted on me picking it up and him taking it to Florida..pff:laughing:).
So he picked me up and luckily it wasn't busy at all when they opened and there weren't a lot of people there at all. I guess usually there are for new popular games. I was the 2nd one to pick up mine and we were out the door.

The day wasn't to bad because my bro visited me for a bit but the whole time we talked about Florida, Disney World, flying.. etc.. soo it didn't really help. After he left, I posted on dis, loved my doggy who I was going to miss terribly, listened to dtuneslive gadget all day, and waiting for DH to get out work.

Finally 3pm, DH was leaving work.. so I was cooking dinner. I wanted to make something really easy and fast because I didn't feel like cooking, eating or anything I wanted to LEAVE! hehe So I made hamburger helper- the sloppy joe flavored one.. which sounds really gross and I thought eww when DH picked it out but its actually good. so thankgoodness for HH when you need it. When arrived home- it was 4pm.. we had to leave for the airport around 5pm. So we ate, he took a quick shower- I packed his bathroom stuff.. then my dad arrived- we left around 5pm.. we got the airport by 5:30pm. Our flight was at 7:15pm. Now granted we didn't need to be there and hour in a half early.. but they do recommend that and I don't fly at night so I had NO idea how busy it would be. So after we got in, went through security, went to the bathroom, DH had a guiness and a shot of something to calm his nerves.. we went and sat down.. waiting patiently for our plane..

and one of the many pictures I took while waiting..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/005p.jpg
Hello gum.. and fillings.. pff. I hate those. ugh
(Notice how my hair is calm, straight and silky.. this will be the last you will see of this.. hehe and its not my fault).

Yes they are.. its like when we arrive at the airport I told DH- we are officially on vacation.. and then you sit down and wait and I'm like.. ok maybe not.. because flying is the worst!

Yes waiting is the worst. It feels like- you get there- you're waiting.. you board the plane- you sit more.. still waiting to arrive.. its just a bunch of waiting around.. hehe

and yes.. my hair doesn't like humdity. My hair naturally wavy.. which I love but its like.. if it rains of humid or anything of the sort- I can't wear it straight. If I do straighten it.. its just goes curly. pff. and it didn't help that it was wet and stuff the whole time. hehe

I'm in. Happy anniversary!

YAY! Welcome! and Thank you! :goodvibes

So when I left off, we were sitting at the airport waiting for our flight.

As I was sitting there- I went to the bathroom like 3 times along with Austin. I hate using the bathrooms on the plane and plus I was nervous. NOT as nervous as I thought I was going to be. I was actually more nervous sitting at home.. I had an upset stomach all day.

As I was walking to the bathroom- I glanced over and thought I recognized a these 2 people sitting there. They looked like people I knew in high school and I knew that they got married. But I haven't seen her since high school. I didn't want to stare.. so I just went on my merry little way. hehe

As we were boarding the plane- DH and I sat down and I glanced up and they were standing in the seat in front of us.. IT WAS THEM! I was soo excited to see them! We both immediately said hello but we didn't talk much after that. Its to hard to talk when on a plane because between the noises of the airplane, and the loud but wonderful fan blowing down on me.. its hard to hear. Plus, I was to busy trying to relax and not panic and make sure my DH was ok. So needless to say.. if I could of talked to them the whole flight I would of loved to.. they seemed like they were fine.. they had headphones on but also talked the whole time. DH and I spent most of the time listening the the convenient XM radio..( omgosh I love.. I want it..) and looking out the window. I kept trying to go to sleep.. but it wasn't happening this time..

So we landed in Atlanta.. which took 2 hours.. this irriated me because if we would to fly nonstop it only takes 2 1/2 hours to get there.. no we just flew to Atlanta.. had to wait 35 mins.. and then fly a little over an hour more.. WTHeck! This is the first time we ever flew with it being a 1 stop flight. and left me tell you.. I HATED IT! When I got off the first flight.. I felt pretty good.. my ears popped a little but by the time we got on the second plane.. they were all clear.

For as big as it is.. we got to our destination pretty quick.. but DH and I were winy.. I was starving.. he was tired.. we both hated flying.. We didn't want to get back on.. it was getting late.. OK maybe we were being babies.. but since we both were its ok. So even though DH wanted me to wait to buy anything.. idk why.. because the stores would be closed (I thought) by the time we got to Orlando, I went to the store bought DH some salt and vinegar chips, me some crackers, a diet coke to share and some gummies.

Which I actually wanted to add really quick- I remember asking if we were allowed to take food through security- in our luggage and in our carryon. Many people I talked to said no- they won't let you take it in your carryon- and you're not suppose to have it on the plane. (except what you buy after you cross security). My mom said- she took crackers and stuff with her in her carryon and she was fine.
So I put all my food that was for the room in my luggage- thinking it might be a little easier to sneak.. hehe I actually called airtran and they lady said we could take food on our carryon.. but I wanted to be safe.

But as I was saying.. once we ate the food waiting and on the plane.. we both felt MUCHO better. and we both said sorry about 10 times for being crabby. I also want to say- maybe this is airtran.. but they have A LOT of choices for drinks now.. and even though you still only get the pretzels.. both flights there and back.. we were offered more drinks and stuff.. they didn't use to do that. and all that is free. My mom said when she flew with spirit in Jan. They didn't offer anything for free anymore.

So the second flight was just like the first.. except it felt longer and it gave me a headache and my ears were clogged.. mostly my left one. (which is funny.. last time it was my right).

So we get off the plane and we were EXCITEDDD because we were in Orlando.. no more flying for a week! BUT it was raining like cats and dogs.. downpouring...

So we finally find the ME center.. it took like 2 minutes to go through.. there was like no one around at 11:30pm..hehe So we go out.. and I see the wonderful ME BUT I was excited.. I thought they have TV's! Well we get on..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/007.jpg
Its awesome.. I love the seats.. and they are comfy.. WAY better then the planes.. no one is on it either! hehe It's like we have our own personal bus! hehe Then the bus driver tells us we will be leaving in about 30 mins.. and it will take like 40 mins+ to get there because of rain!! GRRR This is DH at that point- and here's me:sad1:..hehe we were both soo exhausted and sleepy. The flight takes soo much out of us. So I tried to pass some time and we took a picture. You can see how tired we were here.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/006p.jpg

Actually it didn't take that long to wait.. only 1 other family came on.
We left.. even though the ride might of been 40 mins. It didn't seem like it.. and I was comfy.. practically falling asleep on the way there. So we arrive.. still raining.. We go to the front desk.. we were the last ones to check in for the night and they had everything all set to go. They gave us everything and told us how to get there.. OF COURSE WE WERE WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE!

So we walk out the side door.. walk through the parking lot.. walk passed and through some buildings.. finally finding our building.. while being soaked.. It seriously sucked! Really bad.
BUT WE finally made it.. and DH said "Stop we have to take our first picture before we go in". hehe This was originally my idea.. but I was so tired I forgot. All I was thinking about was bed time. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/008.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/009.jpg

I won't get into the room right now.. but I will say.. OMGosh.. the beds were soo comfy. I slept like a rock.

I swear.. we did have fun in our trip.. it doesn't sound like it from this.. but the plane rides are always the worst.

hehehe I don't think your nuts. Actually I use to LOVE the name Austin. When I was in high school, I loved the name Austin and I always said if I have a boy-I'm going to name him that- but then my cousin had a baby boy and named him Austin.. so then I thought- can I still name him that?! hehe But then in my last week of high school I met Austin. I was surprised by his name because you just didn't have a lot of older Austin's that much. Now there are a few but still not a ton.. they are still young. But I told Austin it must of been fate for me to meet an Austin.. the name I loved. hehe Now I don't plan on naming my kid Austin.. I don't really care for the whole "junior" thing.. but I guess I got lucky- cause I got an Austin after all. I can't help myself but to sing that country song- "If this is Austin, I still love you" to him.. hehe BUT anywho.. I don't think your nuts! :rotfl:

I said I would love to go to Disney.. but DH said he wanted us to try and go to a different country.. and we agreed on Greece.. so if we can afford it and make it happen.. then Greece it is.. if not Disney it is! hehe

As for the crowds- it was a great time to go.. there was to much rain for me but I've talked to people that go around the same time I do every year and it never has rained that bad for them.

When I left off, we had just arrived to our room...

As we walked in.. I wasn't surprised by anything.. it was almost exactly like the room in ASMo as in size, decorating, beds and so forth. The first thing we did was through down our luggage, change out of the wet clothes, I washed my face and tried to get refreshed, and I took some sinus medicine.. then instead of going to bed like I should of.. I decided to take a few pictures of the room.. while DH decided to hook up his xbox and play his new UFC game.. I mean thats what he was so excited about when it came to vacation..hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/014.jpg
We always decided what bed we want to sleep in.. idk why but for some reason in each room we have a certain bed which seems more comfortable for both of us.. this time it was the inside bed, away from the door.. last time it was the bed next to the door.. and our room was reversed.. idk we are weird. hehe So DH was sitting on the designated sleeping bed. hehe

Here's some pics I took.. there will be more of the room as the trip goes by...
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/011.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/012.jpg
I was actually pretty disappointed with the bathroom theme.. it felt soo boring and plain to me. I lovveee the ASMo bathroom that is black and white and all the stars.. I mean a bathroom is a bathroom but I was thinking.. come on this is Pop Century.. there is soo much they could of done to add a theme or color.. geess. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/010.jpg
I had to take a picture of the clean table and our folder! hehe Because I know it won't stay clean like that for long..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/013.jpg
I had to take a picture of our anniversary pins and new key's to the world. I was excited because they put the pins in our folder of information.. I love how disney pays attention to the little things! Sorry I had to erase the names and stuff.. idk just for privacy in case there are crazy people or something..hehe

After I took pictures, I took out our outfits for the next day and sprayed them with wrinkle releaser.. which smells so good and I love, I hung them up, set my phone alarm to hakuna matata and then crawled into bed.. and OMgoshh.. the bed was soo comfortable. I was a pillowtop mattress.. and it wasn't stiff so I felt like I just soaked right into it.. :goodvibes It was amazing.. I fell asleep almost instantly, even though I figured I wouldn't.

DH laid next to me and played UFC for at least another hour.. I think he played longer but he says he didn't.. he finally went to sleep.

So the park didn't open until 9am on Wed. and so I set the alarm for 7:30.. thinking it wouldn't take us long to get up and around and we could still get there by 9am for the rope drop.. phaahahaha:rotfl2:

So 7:30am.. "Hakuna Matata..." Of course DH didn't do anything about it.. so I got up..walked around the bed and turned it off.. I was freezing because we had the air setting to low.. I crawled back in bed and of course fell asleep.. I finally got up around 7:50am and got right into the shower. I loved our shower, the water pressure was high, the flow of water was great, and it was always hot for a long time.. hehe I'm a big one of shower heads and stuff.. I hate shower that aren't high pressured.

I get out get dressed.. start getting around.. stupidly decided to blow dry my hair straight.... and then tried to wake up DH.. eventually after about 20 mins he got up.. and stood in the shower.. til basically I was done getting around.. thankfully he doesn't take long to get ready. Around 8:45am.. we walked out the door.. with out breakfast bar in hand and because he was rushing me I forgot our schedule of things we wanted to do, our dining resse time, and everything.. I at first started to panic.. then I thought.. its ok.. its not the only day we have a MK and I can just call for our dining resse's.

Waiting for the bus didn't take long, and when we arrived I was sooo excited! I kept saying "We're here Austy at Magic Kingdom" and then when we entered on Main Street.. I must of said "I love Disney World" about 100 times.. and DH kept laughing at me.. hehe I go have pics in front of castle and stuff from the photopass- I'm ordering the pics on Thurs. and as soon I get them I'll post them.

Of course as soon we got there Austy started wining about being hungry.. I of course had to say "I told you we should of bought more food but Nooo. "we won't need it" hehe

Since I didn't have my plans.. I just said lets do whatever.. and we headed to Frontierland..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/020.jpg
We decided on Big Thundar Mountain Railroad first!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/017p.jpg
Day 1- us waiting in line.. which lasted like 5 mins. And I decided that while on this ride- we would take funny rollercoaster pics.. since many of the others you can't.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/018.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/019p.jpg

OK this ride is great.. I almost forgot how great it was. I mean I know that I liked it but it just seemed better than it was before.. maybe it was because it was my first ride at Magic Kingdom!! idk!

As we headed out of BTMR, we walked pass...
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/021p.jpg
and this being DH's fav.. of course we had to go on this. I kind of didn't want to yet because I was afraid it was going to rain at any minute and didn't want to get wet.. only to get wet again..hehe

Next up, Tomorrowland...Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Buzzlightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and our first Snack credit of the trip!

You're at the MK, yayyy! I think its a good idea to head to Frontierland first too! Most everyone heads right first so I prefer to go left. Good choice and love the BTMRR pics :thumbsup2

hahah well actually I'm glad he had it- so he didn't go crazy when it was raining and we were sitting in the room.

Hey Everyone! I just wanted to let you know I am going try and fit in another update before the 4th weekend. I am going upnorth (northern MI to the U.P). This weekend we had a yard sale- we made $150 bucks.. so I was happy. Then Sunday I went on my dad's boat on the lake, and then today I went to the beach with my mom until it started to get rain clouds. and I just found out today that my best friend who lives in FL will be here tomorrow.. soo I'll prob spend a lot of time with her now that its summer and no school. But I will try!! Thanks for being patient!:wizard:

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. It just this summer is out of control with busyyness.. my gma was in town, my best friend is in town for the month, we went up north for the 4th, over the weekend- I had an open house, a cookout at DH's Aunt and Uncles, UFC night, a church thing with DH's mom, and this week my mom and I are planning my dad's surprise 50th bday party. It's actually this weekend on sunday 19th. On saturday, I have a state exam and I'm freaking sooo nervous. My best friend just took it and said that it was way easier then she expected especially the math but I'm still nervous. So I'll be studying for it this week to.

It's like every time I think the post on DIS, I think well I don't have time to write along one, or a detailed one and now I'm worried I won't remember everything. SOO what I decided is that I am going to start posting updates- even if they aren't super detailed- evne if they are mostly pictures and only a few words- just to get the ball rolling and that way if I have time to post a long detailed one I will if not- oh well. I can't believe I went in May and still haven't finished it. hehe But anyways.. here's another update finally.

Ok when I ended last time- we had just got done with Big Thunder Mountain- and we were debating going on Splash Mountain- which DH soon figured out is his all time favorite ride besides one other- which I will share when we get to it.

Again, I didn't have my schedule for the day-so we were just kind of going with the flow and heading anywhere we felt like at the moment. We decided to go to Tomorrowland.

Of course, DH was still wining about being hungry- so I said fine lets fine somewhere to use our snack. We ended up going to "The Lunching Pad" and DH was so excited because they had Turkey legs- but then he realized that, that wasn't a snack credit because it was sold with other items. We both decided on Cream Cheese Pretzels! Which are sooo very yummy!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/015-1.jpg

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/022p.jpg
The first ride we went to was Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin-
This was while we were "walking" in line because the lines were so short that we didn't have to wait at all.. I was happy of course- but also kind of sad- because I didn't get to really see the cool sights while you wait in line.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/023.jpg
and this is our score at the end..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/024.jpg
hehehe thats right DH beat me.. by a lot. If you can't read it his was 49400, and mine was 2300... hehehe it was only our first time- and I felt like it didn't shoot right- definitely don't as good as the toy story attraction.
Next we headed to Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor- which I was super excited about because I love these characters.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/025p.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/026.jpg
In the TV is actually the secretary- I can't think of her name right now.. but she is reading a news paper. I loved this part of "in holding" I guess, cause this lady is hilarious.
my mickey toes waiting patiently..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/028p.jpg
and this is right as you are entering.. I literally took it while walking..hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/027.jpg

This was the first time DH and I seen this attraction and its definetly a must see.. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2I do have to say we were both nervous to be called on- but after we realized they call on the same people over and over- I felt safe. hehe It also helped that all the people that were chosen we all goofy and into it. hehe I truly felt like we were interacting with the characters. I wish it was longer though. hehe

As we headed out Monsters- we were happy to see that it still wasn't raining and we got to hear wonderful music-http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/029.jpg

We decided to go and get something to eat. So we headed to Pinocchio's Village Haus! Our very Favorite quick service place idk why.
Before we went we decided to get fast pass for Winnie the Pooh- cause heck- even though we didn't care for it much last time- we decided to give it another try. AND as we received our fast pass- guess what else we got-
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/030.jpg
SURPRISE FASTPASSES TO DISNEY PHILHARMAGIC!! I told DH too do his surprised face! hehe I was really excited because I guess they usually do have them or something but they were doing them that day- maybe it wasn't busy enough or something. I told DH- It's our first surprise on our very first day! :rotfl:

It was actually really funny because when he put in his fast pass- 2 of them cards came out and he was like what the heck I got 2- and then he did mine and I got 2- and we were like it must not be working right and then I looked to see if they times were different or what and seen they were surprise fastpasses! hehe it was funny.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/031.jpg
As we entered Pinnochio's- I was surprised by what I seen... idk if I forgot about this or if they changed it when they were remodeling last time on It's a Small World- but you can actually see into the attraction from windows in the restaurant! I wanted to sit there but DH said no. :sad2: He said "You will see it soon enough" Can you tell he wasn't super thrilled about the attraction..hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/032.jpg
I got the Chicken Breast nuggets with fries- an ice tea and my dessert was Strawberry Cheesecake, DH got Individual pepperoni pizza with tossed salad, his dessert was chocolate cake. He also got ice tea. My nuggets were very yummy.. I tried like every dipping sauce they had. hehe I actually got the 8 nuggets instead of the 6-thinking hey it doesn't cost anymore why not. But then I found out- there was no way of eating all of it. hehe

Here are some more pictures of the attractions we did after we ate lunch!

First Mickey's Philharmagic:
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/033.jpg I want one of these at home.. it reminded me of Beauty and the Beast.. which makes sense after you see the show.
Us ready and waiting!!!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/034p.jpg

OK- I must say- This attraction is by far by favorite show besides The Lion King at AK. Honestly, with all the songs they use, how great pictures our, the characters interacting with Donald, the winds blowing in your face, the smell of sweet pies.. this attraction touched me like no other. It was like it truly made me realize just how much I love disney and why. idk how to explain it.. it was truly magical I suppose. DH also loved this very much. Later we go to this attraction again and I had the same feeling. It's amazing.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh- which I will say is better than last time but still not one of my favorites. I do like how the pot moves around -up and down as if its all bumpy and stuff. hehe

Snow White's Scary Adventures:
This band played while we waiting in line.. and guess what they were playing.. Supercalifragalicous from Mary Poppins! I told Austin- they must of known I love Mary Poppins!! hehe I was singing and dancing to it and DH just laughed at me.. and gave me that look "I love you but idk why" hehe:laughing: I told him "Hey I'm in disney world I can sing and dance and act like a fool-no one cares..hehe"
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/039.jpg

OMG the little band playing Mary Poppins, thats so cute! I totally know what you mean about just acting however and not caring...you can act like a kid and just be carefree and happy in WDW and no one will look at you funny or think anything of it. One of the many reasons I love it and its so magical there :wizard: :cloud9:

Do you have a Mickey tattoo on your ankle? I googled "mickey tattoos" a while ago and found one I really like that I think I'm going to get soon!

Actually, right now I'm looking for employment I was coaching and stuff but then we moved only to find out we are going to move back closer to where I go to school. I just had an interview for a teen center- its like an extended school thing- to be an instructor. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it is. I'm going to school for secondary education. Next semester I start my teaching stuff. My exam is the state basic skills exam- I have to have it to start the college of edu. I feel like its a "if you're smart enough to be a teacher" exam.. which is pretty much what its testing. I'm only worried about the math section but my best friend just took it in Florida and she was helping me with the math stuff. Yes that is a mickey tattoo.. its actually minnie and mickey with hearts around them. I got it on our honeymoon- it represents Austin and I and my love for disney of course. I actually drew it up and they did exactly what I drew- I kind of wish they would be redone it a little traced something.. but if you go to my ptr its on the first page I think. I'm actually planning on changing it a bit. Idk exactly what but I want pixie dust kind of surrounding it and starting from around my lower ankle... and I might change the girl mickey to black with a red bow. I don't want faces or anything- I like the simplicity and I like that it was something I created but it not exactly what I wanted.

Yes, I do have a mickey tattoo on my ankle... princess&her4princes just asked me the same thing.. so I'll just copy what I said! hehe

Ok..so I left off last time showing pics from attractions that we went too. I don't if I stated this earlier but when we left the room that morning I forgot our dinner resse time.. I knew where it was just not the time. I finally asked a CM if there was a way I could get the number to "Cape May Cafe" and she said I could use the phone operator--.. so we finally walked to the phones up front because I couldn't find any Customer service desk or anything.. only to find out that the phone wasn't working right... we went to the phones at the right time because right after that- out of nowhere is started downpouring.. even though it was sunny out still- no sign at all. Of course that FL for you. hehe So we decided that since we had no luck we would go back to the room, figure everything out, hopefully wait out the rain and go back after dinner!

Here is the picture I finally got walking to the phone- while it was finally sunny outside..for a split second before the rain!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/035.jpg

As we got back to Pop= I decided that I was going to take a few more pictures.. while DH did this of course---
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/048.jpg

Here are some of the pics I took...
Another of the bed.

Here is a close up of the picture on the wall.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/047.jpg
our room number again.. so we would never forget it:goodvibes!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/049.jpg
The side view from our room.. and yes it stopped raining for a bit. but still gloomy.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/050.jpg
Of course our refillable mug! We actually forgot to buy it til we came back to rest. and I had to get the mickey straw.. which we didn't get charged for;) idk why.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/051.jpg

Actually I have a question- if you buy a mug from a previous trip- can you take it to the same resort in the future and use it? Because I swear I seen tons of families doing that. At first I actually seen a mug that said Pop Century- it was a yellowish orange and I wanted that one- and wondered where she got it from.. but as the trip went by I seen multiple ones.. and I noticed the only ones the resort was selling was the one I had in different colors.. soo I knew that since they were from different resorts and stuff that they must be old ones. BUT it says that they are for the use of refills at the resort your staying during your stay.. not forever.. hehe Can you help me with this?!

Finally, we left for our dinner resse at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort.. which I will say I loved it. I loved the colors, the decor, the whole themed apealed it me.. but DH didn't like it at all. He said there was nothing special about it. He said it was nice but it wasn't worth spending more for. He also said he felt people were acting snobbish.. I didn't see that at all though. I said- its probably because were young and look young- and most of them were older- maybe they think were hoodliems or something hehe idk.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/052.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/053.jpg
We were sitting on the circle bench that has flowers in the middle- I tried to get them in the background didn't work out. Oh well. This is where the water look steps in. hehe my wavy natural-always wet style! hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/054.jpg
Our food...
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/055.jpg
Some of the dessert. The chocolate bon bons were awesommee.. they were oreo cream. It was like heaven. It was my favorite of all the desserts. Austy had one that had some type of liquor stuff in the middle and that was his favorite.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/056.jpg
As for the food- if you haven't ate there its a buffet style- and all the food I tried was amazing. I must of had like 3 plates filled with different stuff- I wanted to try everything. I figured its all included I misewell taste it all. We even tried the clams in butter- which ok- the little buckets you put them in are cute but it took a lot for me to try them but once I did.. they were good. Not my favorite but good. hehe DH liked them a lot.

After dinner I had to take a picture on the bridge- it was so pretty with water and everything.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/057p.jpg

While we were waiting to eat- it wasn't raining and kind of sunny. Then when we got done it was really gloomy and looked like it was going to rain. It was around 6:30-7 so we decided just to head to DTD for a little shopping and relaxing and if it started raining hard we would just go back to the room.

Here's some pictures of the shops and stuff while we were there..
You can tell by the pictures how gloomy and dark it was.. and I actually tried to lighten some of them. hehe

Sadly, I couldn't find a cheerleading shirt this time.. idk if they moved that stuff but we never went back to recheck:sad1:
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/058.jpg
One of my favorite stores of all..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/059.jpg
Austy with his spiffy raingear from disney! We bought a poncho and umbrella.. which both broke before we left. pff. oh well.

Where I wanted to eat but didn't get a chance. maybe next time. I love this place.

House of Blues we didn't eat at.. but Austy went into the store and he said next time we have to eat there- I agreed. :thumbsup2

We did go to DisneyQuest for a little bit. But everyone one and there brother had the same idea.. hehe so it was really busy. One of thing that I noticed that had changed since we went last time- was in the cafe area- all the tables had laptops with games and stuff. That was really cool.. to bad no one would move so we could try. But we tried the virtual reality one- where you shoot at bad guys.. idk what its called- but the helmet hurt my head really bad and wouldn't stay on right. We also played a few other games but it was so hectic and we both decided to try and come back another day..

As soon as we left DTD is was raining cats and dogs and I soon found out that I hate the feeling of being wet- sitting squished with people- in our ponchos.. it just grosses me out. hehe But I had to get use to it!

When we left we went back to the room.. of course it stopped raining but we had enough with buses for one day- so we went back to the room got dried off- and took a few pictures of the resort.

Will we get to swim at all this trip?
Go to waterpark?
Get a tan??
Or have a full day of no rain??

Hmm.. we will see. ;)

Next up.. the start of our 2nd day! Thanks for keeping with me guys!

That's such a cute idea for a tattoo!! I can't wait to get mine. I found one that I kind of like but it looks cheap. I go to an AMAZING tattoo artist so I'm probably going to bring him what I found and have him change it up a bit. He'll make it sick, he's seriously so good.

Loved the update! Sorry you guys got hit with so much rain! We definitely want to eat at House of Blues next time we go. It's not on the DP so we'd pay OOP but Chris was like obsessed with the place and I heard good reviews of it too. Great pictures! I like Austin all dressed up in his rain gear HAHA figures the Disney umbrella would break on you after you spent your life savings on it :rotfl:

I wish that I could go to your tattoo guy! I'm trying to find someone good near me.

Yeah, we actually got to exchange the umbrella- but I figured its prob just going to break again so we just returned it.. and luckily, it didn't rain the remaining time there. hehe

Yes it was a buffet.. At first DH was kind of upset because of all the "buffets" cause he's usually not a fan. He says some places are good but he doesn't like the idea of food sitting for long periods and stuff.. but we got there right when they opened. We had the first resse for the dinner that night- and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. I didn't want to be full when I was. hehe.

Hello. I woke up this morning and while laying in bed was thinking over the month and how busy I have been but also how much fun I have had. I have been really stressed the last couple of weeks because of many things and I woke up feeling a little refreshed today- idk why I just did. So for some reason I felt like recapping my month for you guys! Since I never shared any pics or anything.. because of my busyness.

The July 4th weekend- which was also the first weekend in July- Austy, his bro JJ, gf Amanda, and our friend Dave went upnorth. Now I think most of up you know- but maybe not- we live in Michigan- so we went to Northern Mich- actually it was the U.P (upper peninsula) pretty much as far up north as you can get before you cross the water to Canada. hehe. The Cities we visited were Sault Ste. Marie, Paradise-Tahquamenon Falls, and Whitefish Point. We were only up there from Friday morn. to Sunday morning- so we did a lot of running around and driving but it was fun. We were about 5 hours from where we live.

We left around 3:30am- and drove straight thru with no traffic problems. We arrived there around 9:30 am-We stayed at campground in town in Sault Ste. Marie. and I kept telling Austin- we can't check in until 11am. Check in is actually noon but she said we could arrive at 11 and possibly check in early- it was to early. But DH being a man and everything- had to do things his way. So he went in the office and came out and said "HA HA- we can check in". pfff:rolleyes: Because a couple that was on our lot- left early they had time to clean up and it was ready for us! yay.
After we sent up our tents- we decided to explore the campground, and then we all went to sleep for like 3 hours. hehe.

It was a really small campground- but it was nice. We were right on the water between Canada and MI, and you could see Canada- at night it was pretty. Of course since we were soooo far North- and right on the water its colder than where we live and on Friday it decided to be super windy and cold. So we sat around the campground most of the day- and I thought- no swimming or tanning for me. I was pretty upset because at home it was almost 80 degrees. This happened when we went to Florida to.

All the pics are taken from my phone camera- because I forgot my camera. So some are blurry but others are really good.
Here's some pics from the weekend.

By the way, as you can see Saturday (the 4th) was actually warm- woo hoo. Of course I wore pants and was hot all day. But by the time we got to Whitefish point- it was cooled off and kind of chilly- so no swimming.
Overall, the weekend was fun, I love camping, campfires, smores, roasting food on the fire, being out in nature, relaxing.. the only thing I missed was my maggie pie. Now I wish I would of brought her- but my parents had a nice weekend with her.

On the second week of July- was Maggie's 2nd Birthday- the 6th. I bought her a couple different bones- in vanilla and peanut butter of course- which are her favorite and some peanut butter biscuits. I also finally had my first interview of applying of 100 places for a job near my college. Over the weekend we had Austin's cousins open house- the food was yummy and it was good to see his family who live so far away.

The 3rd week in July, I had another interview for another place, actually 2 and then during the weekend (19th) was my mom's 48th bday but it was actually my Dad's surprise bday party- which went well.. we barely had everything ready when he showed up- but it went good and he was surprised.
Happy 50th Birthday Daddy-o!:goodvibes

The cake was a fisherman caught in his fishing line.. hehe and when my dad seen that- he said "thats not me- thats Austin" hahahaha
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/Image320.jpg

This week I got a call from a school- and got the job. woo hoo! My first teaching job! It's not a regular teacher because I'm not graduated yet- but its an after school instructor. I'm super excited. I will have lesson plans and such similar to teaching.

Then this weekend was one of my best friends from high schools wedding. When we were seniors- we made up this saying "JREJAK" which stood for Jamie, Rachel, Erica, Jenny (me), Amber, Krystal. We were like the best of friends and continue to talk. Every now and then we all get together for dinner. Well for this wedding- we finally were all back together for the first time in about 2 years. It was amazing and so much fun. Of course we all cried- tears of joy of course. I'm really close with Amber and Rachel, and I occasionally see Jamie and Erica- but hardly ever Krystal. I don't have any pictures right now because my batteries died- so I'm waiting to get them from the girls. But when I get them I will share it. Austin couldn't go but I still had a lot of fun. T his was the funnest wedding I have ever been to. The wedding was beautiful, the reception was beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were yummy, and the DJ was awesome.. we danced our hearts out.

During the last 3 weeks, by best friend was here from Florida. I was lucky enough to not be in school or working- so we spent a lot of time together- doing boring everyday things- which was fun. It brought back lots of old memories of when we were younger and together 24-7. We painted her parents doors, we had a girls night at her gma's lake house- harry potter movie marathon (since I hadn't seen any and she was a new fan), and many other things. This week she is on vacation with her family and then next week, she leaves to go back to Florida- whether she chooses to stay there- is up in the air.
Here's some pics of us throughout the week.
Amber Paige and I.. my soulfriend.

So this past month I have had A LOT of good things going on. I'm sad to see it all go.. but look forward to moving closer to school, starting my new job, not so much starting school again..haha:laughing:, but I can't complain!

OK new disney world update coming soon.

I start sometime in Aug. She said that she would call me and let me know. I wish I knew so I could kind of plan for the changes and stuff but oh well. I figure by the middle of Aug.

I wanted to mention this because I forgot when I was posting. But I read in a disney book that when you ride Splash Mountain, if you don't want to get super wet- to sit on the left side because the right side you get more wet. So I tried this- and it is true. Every time DH and I rode this he always sat on the right side and he always get a lot more wet then I did. An easy way to remember this is to always enter to riding cart first- that way you are always on the left side. They also said sit in the back of the cart- but you can't really choose that all the time.

Also, when we were in DTD shopping I bought those car window decals, that are for families and they have mickey ears.. I hope you guys know what I'm talking about. Well I bought them for DH, Me, and Mags. I couldn't find a cat but I love them very much! I also seen the Mickey heads that go on your car antenna-well I wanted them but DH was like.. uhh idk- he doesn't want me girl-ifying our car. hehe but later on he changes his mind- but I never did buy them.

I'm not sure why- but when I finished my report on day 1, I didn't finish the rest of the night. who knows why.. but basically when I left off- we walked around and took a few pictures, browsed Pop Century store, checked out the food court- and the snack credit options, then went back to the room and I got the clothes ready- sprayed with downy wrinkle releaser- washed my face and crawled into the comfy bed. Austy of course played the UFC game, and I look through the Epcot fliers and highlighted stuff we wanted to do- also reread through some notes I wrote about the park. Then I fell asleep- OF COURSE, Austy stayed up way to late playing his game and I woke up several times telling him he should go to bed because he would be sorry. Plus, I really wanted to make a rope drop sometime this trip- and really wanted to in Epcot because we did it last trip and it was awesome.

DAY 2 Morning...

I woke up to a new disney tune and quickly jumped into the shower to warm up and to wake up. I was extremely tired today. Actually I think I was tired all week when it came time to wake up. Idk why but I feel bad sleeping in when I'm at Disney.. like I'm wasting time.

So my showers we always a little long, but since I wasn't straightening my hair or anything- I didn't take me long to wake up. I decided to wake up DH, when I was starting my makeup- that would give him time to shower, grab a snack for breakfast, and I could pack our bag for the day and then be out the door. DH wasn't having it- because he was tired and grumpy. I kept saying we're going to be late, time to get up. I was trying to be nice about it but I was actually irritated. I kept thinking "maybe if you went to sleep earlier you wouldn't be so tired".
He finally got up and we we left within the half hour.

When we got to the bus stop- we had about a half hour to get there before the rope drop. Here's our Day 2 pic!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/071.jpg
Finally the bus arrives, after taking forever. When we get there- the line for "people with bags" was foreverrr long.. I started getting upset because it was day 2 and I still hadn't made a rope drop.. I like being there when the park opens. Finally, DH suggests "You go ahead and I'll stand in line" I was such in a hurry to leave I didn't think-where are we going to meet.. after I got through the ticket line- I missed the rope anyways.. thats when I thought "CRAP, we didn't say where to meet or anything" I decided to stand right by the entrance at first and then thought- Well I might well take some pictures of the topiaries because I know DH won't want to sit and do that this morning.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/072.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/073.jpg

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/077.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/078.jpg
After I had taken these- which took me maybe 5 minutes- I decided to stay closer to where he would enter. Mind you- all I did was circle the topiaries that are at the front- so I wasn't far. Minutes went by- I didn't see him.. I kept looking and looking and still no Austin. So I decided to sit on the bench and figure he is around here somewhere- he's not going to wonder- I'll find him.. still no Austin.. So then I started to panic.. thinking I'm not going to find him- he is going to leave the park or look all over and not find me. Should I leave the park? We couldn't call each other because we made a packed to only carry one phone and keep it off. So we could enjoy our vacation with no interruptions. So finally, I got up and started walking around the topiaries thinking maybe he is around this somewhere.. all of a sudden I look up and he's coming from Spaceship Earth area- I'm soo happy, but also mad because why would be wonder that far- why would be think I would go that far- is he an idiot. But also since I was panicked I felt like crying because my anxiety was freaking me out. So I call his name- we finally meet. Of course he's mad and says "What the hell- you are so lucky, I almost left and went back to the room". I said, "I was sitting at the front looking for you the whole time- Why did you go so far" He said "Idk I didn't know where you went to- you were to much in a hurry to run off and see the rope drop". He was being a jerk but it was because he was tired mostly. He snaps easily when tired. As do I. I finally said Sorry that was stupid on both parts.. and we hugged.

He was still mad but we headed to Spaceship Earth- since this was the first time to ride this and DH was excited because me missed it last time.
By the end of the ride we were fine because we loved this ride so very much.

OK- Day 2 continued- I left off, we had just got off Spaceship Earth. After that- Austin wanted to go to Club Cool- which I think is pretty sweet but he was extra excited to return to.

The wonderful cloudy skies.. hehe

Now if I can remember correctly, Austin's favorite was VegitaBeta and I liked the one from China, and Kinley- which is kind of weird because I'm not big on sprite flavored pops. But I love the sweet lemon and honey flavors. Of course we tried them all and gagged on the bad one.. I don't want to share- just in case someone hasn't tried them all before.

Next we headed towards Honey, I Shrunk the Audience but when we arrived there was still a 30 minute wait. Austin went to the bathroom and I took pics.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/083.jpg
Even by the bathroom's the views are awesome. hehe.
When he came out- I showed him with Disney Getup pose.. and he took a pic.. hehe http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/084.jpg

We went to Figment-
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/085.jpgI love him..I had to.

I will say that I was pretty disappointed with this ride. I've never been on it before the changes. But my impression when entering- was that there would be all sorts of smells, and noises and all types of things with imagination. There was only skunk smell.. it was pretty lame if you ask me. t was like we waited for something to happen and it never did. oh well.

We both decided that although we really wanted to see the show, we wanted to take advantage of the non-rainy weather and do the show sometime when it was raining.. and we headed toards The Land Pavilion.

We got a fastpass for Soarin- and then headed to Living with the Land. Which I thought was going to be boring but figured- I might as well try it once. But I actually liked it and thought some things were really cute.
When I seen these.. the first thing I thought was AWWW.. Cinderella.. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/086.jpg
and I had to take a picture of these.. for my "I love everything burning hot" husband. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/087.jpg

Next we headed to The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Which I loved very very much and was extremely disappointed with my camera.. it didn't take good pics at all.. but here were a few I thought look pretty just cause of the colors. I loved the Jellyfish part!

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/095.jpg
We then walked casually through the aquarium.. I love the fish.. and I've never been to this area before. I'm glad we did take our time because all a sudden a CM showed up and did a cute little show with Dolphins- having them do tricks and stuff. of course my camera took horrible pics.. but here are to that turned out at least.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/096.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/100.jpg
I wanted to hug them and jump in the water with them. hehe They are soo darn cute.

After that, we decided that we had waited long enough for lunch. We were both starving.. and I tried to wait at late as we could because we had a late dinner but since we were already in The Land Pavilion right by Sunshine Seasons- which was our quick service choice of the day.
I actually didn't notice it at first because there is just a sign and really no theme or decorations. This honestly like a cafeteria at a hospital or college.. except the food was exceptional. I already knew what dessert I wanted because I remember seeing it sooo many times on DIS. But I had no idea on what food I wanted.. Austin and I both got the same thing.. Half Rotisserie Chicken with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots.. and our dessert was the all popular strawberry shortcake!! I will admit that seeing all the desserts I was tempted to switch but told myself "no you wanted to try this really bad and you know its good because of all your dis friends" hehe So I did and OMgoshh.. it was amazing. Austin loved all the food too especially the shortcake. Strawberry Shortcake is his favorite dessert of all time. He makes me make it homemade all the time.. it doesn't look like this but its yummy still.
hehe:goodvibes
This was by farrr our favorite quick service meal of the trip. I higly recommend all of it. The mashed potatoes were garlicky and lots of flavor and the carrots were fresh, crunchy, and tasty. I actually fell in love with them and I'm not big on cooked carrots. Now I buy the crinkle carrots at the store all the time.As for the chicken, it tasted like slow roasted chicken- it was yummy and juicy. It reminded me of yaya's chicken.. I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with that place.

Grace Kelly is one of my favorite actresses of all time so I would have been all about sitting at that table! Looks like you had an absolute blast at the wedding!

The Imagination ride is sadly lacking in something, but we always seem to ride it -- an escape from the heat and there is never a line! ;)

The Strawberry Shortcake at Sunshine Seasons is sooo good -- I got a giant slice of it in June!

Love the Disney Getup pose! :lmao:

Thanks for still reading! It makes me happy I know I'm not talking to myself:laughing:. It is yummy.. if you ever get a chance-even to just have a snack or dessert. DO try it!

Grace Kelly is one of my favorite actresses of all time so I would have been all about sitting at that table! Looks like you had an absolute blast at the wedding!

You know whats funny.. I didn't know who that was.. hehe Either did my friend Rachel.. and my friend Amber was like "What??!!" hehe But I figured out who it was by the end of the night. There was a few that I didn't recognize. But I thought it was a pretty name for a table anyways.

The Imagination ride is sadly lacking in something, but we always seem to ride it -- an escape from the heat and there is never a line! ;)

That is true. We must of been like 1st in line or something.. because there was no wait- we walked all the way to the front.. and then we had to wait because there weren't done starting up.. hehe It was refreshing from the mugginess. I guess if you look a positives! hehe

The Strawberry Shortcake at Sunshine Seasons is sooo good -- I got a giant slice of it in June!

I was surprised with how big the piece is. Of course I was soo full that I had to make myself eat most of it.. because I hated wasting it. I'm almost thought I should of got it to go.. and took it with me.. oh well.

Love the Disney Getup pose! :lmao:

Thanks! :goodvibes hehe.

Aww. Thanks. I love that dress but its so painful by the end of the night. It's a halter- and its not a flexible material and the knot from the bow.. was killing me. It was sore for like 2 days. I think its time to retire that beauty. hehe I wore it maybe 3 times.. I think that is enough. hehe

Yes I did try Beverly.. I know- why put myself through the pain.. hehe I just don't can't get over how really disgusting it is. But its fun anyways.

Today, my best friend Amber is leaving to go back to Florida. Although she would like to stay she has things she needs to deal with in Florida. We hung out last night- we went and got ice cream and went swimming with my friend Rachel and her little girls. Which are adorable. I don't think I've shared pics of them ever. So I'll share real quick.

This is Makenzy,
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/l_e1eff9bd71324b01bf9280d62ef33d4a.jpg
and this is Isabella (Bella), and Makenzy (Kenzy)
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/l_8e19ecb41f9d022a0c82901a7d1066ae.jpg

I swear when I have kids.. I hope they are as cute and lovable as them.
But of course last night and today I'm pretty sad that she is leaving. It was really hard this time because it was during the summer and I didn't have much to do- so we spent a lot of time together.. and I got use to having her around and we were caught up on everything and had some really great talks and laughs.. and its going to be hard not being able to just wake up and meet her somewhere. So I've decided to post another update..so I don't think about it. hehe

So when I left off, we were on Day 2, right after lunch at Sunshine Seasons. yummy.

After we ate, we decided we had done enough for now in Future World and we were heading for our favorite World Showcase.
I told Austin that this time I wanted to go the opposite or back way into WS this time.. meaning instead of starting at Canada, I wanted to head towards Mexico. We have never done this before and I was really anxious to ride Gran Fiesta.. because I never knew about it before and I've mention more than a few times that I love the movie "The Three Caballeros", idk why.. its just one of those old movies I can't get enough of. So off for Mexico we headed..

Ohh and I probably should mention soo far today.. no rain..it was even pretty sunny. :goodvibes

taking pics on the way.

YAY for Mexico!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/107.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/106.jpg
I don't know why but I absolutely love the Mexico Pavilion/building area. I love going in there.. its like your in a whole new world. I love the lighting, the way shopping is set up, the awesome items they have, the pretty restaurant which I believe in San Angel Inn? I'm pretty sure it was suppose to be closed while we were there.. as soon as Austin seen it he said "Why didn't you make reservations here?" Because he remembered that last time we went we loved it to- and wanted to do it next time.. and I told him.. I SWEAR I read it somewhere that it was suppose to be closed.. idk why.

One thing I loved about today, was that we didn't worry about rushing from country to country because we knew we had another day here at Epcot.. so we really got to casually stroll through Mexico and thats when I found my SHIRT! It was a Three Caballeros Shirt. They actually had adult shirts but I didn't like the colors or the designs.. so I ended up getting a kids shirt- just a large size- and it fits like a little tee. DH said "you really want it?" I said "Are you kidding me?!! This is like a dream come true" hehe:yay:

I don't have a picture of just the shirt- BUT I did wear it while at Disney World and I'll let you know when I'm wearing it! :goodvibes

I also love the Fountains.. we took a few pics here as well.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/108.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/110.jpg

I told Austin to get me.. but also get the whole fountain.. he did a great job.. don't ask me why there is a weird tannish glare. I actually love this picture. He took another one.. but even though its clear it didn't turn out as good. So I'll deal with the glare.

and FINALLY THE MOMENT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR..

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/112.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/113.jpg
Austin and I on the "love boat" under the stars.. as Austin said. He had to take a picture. :lovestruc I looveee how when you start the ride.. you go under the stars and see the other side of the restaurant and everything. Mu pics didn't turn out.. otherwise I'd share.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/122.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/119.jpg

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/123.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/124.jpg
I loved how Donald's clothes are thrown on the ground.. and if you look at the picture.. they are at a beach.. it was cute.

All I have to say, is I love you Disney World.. please never get rid of that ride- if anything- make it better. hehe It's not the most amazing ride I've ever been on.. but its really cute. I love the music and if you are a lover of the Three Caballeros.. you will love it just because of that. Austin even said it was pretty good.. and he's not really a fan. Whenever I'm watching the movie- he says "You're watching this again?" hehe

After that, as much as I wanted to stay in Mexico.. I knew it was time to move on and we headed towards Norway.

I love Norway, it's to small if you ask me. We first headed towards http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/132.jpg

But I knew it wasn't hungry or even munchy after lunch.. even though everything look amazing.. I didn't take a picture of the yummy snacks but if you want to see on. xoktenox has a great one. Your mouth will water. promise. hehe I really wanted a sweet almond pretzel but told myself I would return later for that snack credit

I didn't really get into this very much.. but Austin did for sure. He loves stuff like that and I will say the realism (is that the right word I'm looking for?) is pretty sweet.

Next we headed into the shops.. for some goofy pictures.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/134.jpg
We seriously picked those up- put them on- snapped a picture and took them off and set them back and when Austy did- his fell apart.. I was like WOW talk about cheaply made. and then some nice couple asked if we wanted a picture together.. and I said thanks.. and returned the favor.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/135.jpg
I love this picture.. this is one of my favorites with Austin of the trip- and Idk why but I love how he's holding his nose. hehe

and then we saved the best for last.. well I didn't know til I rode this.. that this was the best of Norway.. its quite an experience if I do say so myself.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/133.jpg
It was way different than expected.. it was kind of weird.. but it was fun and kind of bumpy. When we ended, I said "Well that was different" hehe and when you exit- you are in this cute little city. I would definitely give this a try if you haven't yet.

Well this is where I'll end for now.. next up China, and FINALLY and Disney Character.

Oh I should also mention- these first two days have been amazing with waiting in lines. We hardly waited in any lines- if we did it was no more than 5 minutes. We practically walk on in every ride. :thumbsup2

We didn't go on the 3 caballeros OR maelstrom :headache: next time we definitely will. it seems like you guys are having good luck with the lines too, i hope that sticks throughout the rest of the trip.

The norway snack wasn't as good as it looked so don't worry if you missed it. maybe we just had a bad batch because we were there towards the end of the night.

can't wait to hear about the rest of your day!!

Ok- I am going to try and update at least a little everyday.. or as much as as I can.. because I went to Florida in the end of May.. and its freakin Aug.. and I'm only on day 2. hehe But also because next week I start my new job:thumbsup2 and soon after I start school again. I know I will be really busy at first because I will be commuting and night classes and work and work out classes I took this semester.. soo I want to try and finish this by the end of the month. I'm kind of sad because to think that in a little over 2 weeks I will be done and no NEW trip to talk about.. but I know if I don't finish or at least get close- this could go on forever. hehe

New News- Yesterday, I was browsing through disney pics that I still had to edit and stuff- Austy just got home from work and walk over and was looking at them. He said "Ok, I'm ready to go back to Disney now" in the most calm nonchalant voice ever. I was like "REALLY?!" I was really pumped because see about a month after going to Disney World I was ready to go back and couldn't wait to replan a new trip. But DH kept saying, no we have more important things to take care of then planning a trip.. blah blah. So when he said this- I was like YAYYY! And then he said "But were not planning one though for a couple years" :sad2: WHAT?! I said "no, I told you that I want to take a trip right after I graduate as a graduation celebration" and he agreed I was right. Now I'm not going to officially graduate until May 2011. It seems like a long time but its really not. Half the year is almost over, and then it will only be a year in a half. I really only will have 2 more semesters and then student teaching- then I'm FREE! hehe So it won't be as bad as I thought.

Soo.. its like 2 years away, but I figured well I can ask my Parents and bro to go because my mom has been saying that she wants us to plan a family vacation soon. We haven't been on true family vacation besides camping and upnorth since I was in 8th grade I think. Soo.. its been a while. My mom wanted us all to go on a cruise. I have been begging my parents to go to Disney and stay onsite. At first my mom was reluctant saying "If I go to Florida, I will want to go other places besides Disney" which makes since. But she always says that staying offsite is cheaper. I said NOT really and thats half the experience. But you Disney lovers understand. But then after telling my dad about our trip- before we went and then after.. he out of the blue one day said "We need to plan a vacation to Disney World as a family" and then he began asking me about prices and whats included in the dining plan and so forth. It was like my Dad got it- he seen all the awesomeness of staying onsite- transportation and so on. My mom has also sense caved- because she 1. likes the prices that she hears we pay- because we always do deals and 2. she has always wanted to go back. And well my Brother- there was no caving him.. he was all for it from the beginning. hehe He had just went to Florida in March with his GF to visit family- and they were like 3 hours away. Supposively, they were suppose to have WDW tickets for 2 days, that her GMA got free or something but then when they got there.. she didn't have them and no one wanted to drive 3 hours to take them. He was really mad.. he said that was half the reason why he went. Oh well.

BUT As soon as I told Austin I was going to tell my mom.. he said "NOO- It's just going to be us" So I had to explain to him-Austin, my family has wanted to go on vacation as a family for years now. This is a good opportunity for us to do that. He was worried that we would be stuck with them the whole time and have to do what THEY wanted to do and so forth. Plus, he knows how picky of an eater my dad and brother are. So I had to tell him, we would have our own room and we wouldn't have to do EVERYTHING together.. we can make plans just together. He just loved how easy and laidback our trips are because we plan everything together- and whatever he plan to do gets done, and we don't have to worry about anyone else.

So he told me to wait to tell them- I was thinking "thats dumb- they need time to save", but then he suggested going somewhere else. Austin and I have always wanted to go to Europe and other countries. He suggested going to Ireland. He's Irish and really wants to go there.. and its one of my top places. BUT sadly, its not as excited and Disney World. I'm truly addicted!

So we have been browsing for all-inclusive trips to Ireland.. to help with costs cause its more expensive then Disney World- thats for sure.

But it was funny because as soon as he said we could plan another trip in 2011.. I was awesome.. now I can tell my DIS friends and start planning.. and he looked at me all bugged eyed and said "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" "Disney World is all you care about". hehe I said No, its like my DIS friends DISboard says "Life is what happens between the trips to WDW" and thats how I feel. he started laughing.. he said we are goofy. Can you guess who I got the quote from?!!

If you guessed- Tinkgurl you were right!

So to make a long story short- We are going to start planning another trip- it could be to Disney World or to somewhere in Europe. We aren't sure yet. Of course in the back of my mind I'm praying for WDW.. but we will see.

Austin also said that he wanted to go for 2 weeks this time if we go to WDW. I said That would be great- but you will have a different job then, and who knows for how long, or how your vaca days will work. So we are unsure. But 2 weeks at WDW would be awesome. Idk if he meant 14 days exactly.. but thats pretty awesome. I can't even imagine that. I always wished for like 10 days.. and that still has yet to happen.

Ok well I was going to UPDATE the trip.. but I think I will take a break and come back later. So expect one sometime today!:upsidedow

First off, I want to say that Austin and I ran out first race together last weekend. It was the Crim Festival of Races- its like the biggest race in MI. We ran the 5k- and surprisingly it wasn't that hard. I did enjoy it- however, I think there should be a age requirement because parents were just hauling there kids along and they were running in and out of people- and then just stop right in front of you. I mean its crowded enough. Plus, I seen many parents running with there kids and the kids would be soo tired and wining and the parent would look back and say "come on" pffff. It kind of made me upset that they would do that. Clearly, they are not in shape to do it. But other than that it was nice. I'm not sure if I ever mentioned this- but Austin and I started jogging 4 times a week about 2 months ago. We started out at a mile. Which might seem small to some, we were trying to do it the healthy way, by not injuring ourselves and also because we were never runners before. Now we are at 3.2 miles, and that is good enough for me. I'm not a huge fan of running, never have been and I feel like this is enough to make me stay healthy and get a good workout. Now that work has started for me, new school has started for DH, and school will start for me next week- we will see if we can still hold up the 4 days a week. I'm hoping soo.. although I haven't seen any weight loss and the scale hasn't changed- my mom said I look slimmer- and Austin said my legs are a lot more toned- so I'll blame it on muscles! hehe But I am going to try and keep it up to stay healthy and active.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/Image305.jpg

OHH and it was Austin's little brothers bday- of course as Austin's mom says "I'm the designated cake maker in the family now". I guess my cakes taste yummy and now I've tried creative touches to them. His brother said he wanted a sponge bob cake.. soo ok I tried.. and 3 hours later.. 12:30am..
This was my first character cake and my 2nd detailed decorative cake.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/Image311.jpg

Ok on with WDW!

So when I left off, we had just got done with Maelstrom- which I highly recommend trying.. its an adventure- a fast one. It's over before you know it.. and it might leave you confused- but it was fun.

So we headed to China. I'm not a big fan of this country- I think its pretty but I usually kind of pass through. If there is anything you recommend- please let me know. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/136.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/137.jpg
I love this picture of Austin...sometimes I swear I should be a photographer because I always spot great picture spots. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/138.jpg
Next we went into museum- I'm not really sure what its called- and It's not in the Epcot brochure.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/139.jpg
I liked this saying.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/141.jpg
You can barely see me.. but I'm there. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/142.jpg
As we finished China.. I was excited because I knew my FAVORITE country was coming.. well one of them anyways. GERMANY! I'm not sure why I love it so much- maybe because I'm German, or because it reminds me Frankenmuth, MI (sister city of bavaria, Germany), or maybe its the language that intrigues me or maybe its just the beauty of the buildings.

and finally right before we entered Germany- look who I found--
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/144.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/143.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/145.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/146.jpg
I love this picture of me.. especially the background- now if only I could get this without all the people. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/148.jpg

Now although I could just linger through this country and stay awhile.. I knew that our goal was to casually- but kind of quickly browse through everything today and then return again another day to really spend sometime here. And even though we were just walking through- it did seem very laid back and casual- thats one thing I love about World Showcase- its not so much like MK- where you have a million things you "HAVE TO DO" hehe, there's not so much and its mostly for your viewing and shopping pleasure. hehe Plus, I knew I would be back to enjoy Biergarten for the first time :goodvibes

As we were heading towards Italy- this magician whistling guy walked right in front of me..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/153.jpg
soo.. we stopped and decided to watch him.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/154.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/155.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/156.jpg
He was quite energetic and moved really quickly- so it was hard to get good pictures of him in action. In part of the show, he had kids throwing balls and things into hats and such and it was funny- around all these people all the kids pretty much made it first try- and I was thinking- man if he chooses me.. "all this pressure" hehe Obviously, it wasn't much pressure for the little tikes.. or else they are good under pressure. hehe
We left before he was done- it lasted a good ten minutes while we were there. He's worth watching- so if you ever seen him- do follow. ;)
Just for kicks, I took a picture of the American Pavillion.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/157.jpg
ohh and look at that couple being all sweet and romantic in none other than America. hehe I mean I would of choosed France, Italy, Germany, Morocco, or Mexico.. but whatever. ;)
We walked right past this- I tried not to go near it because I didn't want Austin asking me for a burger and ruin my dining resses. See idk if I told you guys this but last time we went- we didn't do the dining plan- BIG mistake but anyways, he was on this kick of not trying anything new- and he didn't want to waste the money- which made since. We were paying for everything so we might as well eat something we know we will like. But he seriously had me eating burgers almost the whole time.. until finally I protested- look I know thats one of your favorites...but to me NOT so much. hehe He had still yet to have a burger this trip. AND surprisingly enough, he hadn't even complained one bit. Which is surprisingly, cause Austin always gets burgers when we go out to eat.

For some reason we didn't even look through Japan.. and this was the only picture I took of the beautiful setting.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/158.jpg
who knows. I was probably getting tired..hungry and thirsty.
We also seen this- but we didn't stay and watch.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/160.jpg
We did go into the shops at Japan- idk why but we really find shopping here so interesting.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/162.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/163.jpg

At this point, we were both getting hungry and really thirsty- Austin wanted a ice cold beverage- and I talked him into waiting until we got the United Kindgom because they have the Pub and serve Guinness, which is Austin's favorite. So he started rushing me. hehe
We decided to pass through Morocco because we love that country and want to spend more time here. When we not rushing. I need see...
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/164.jpg
BUT the line was crazy and I didn't feel like waiting.

AS we were walking I kept snapping random pictures.

No worries, we'll be here when you have the time! Good luck with everything!!!:goodvibes

Thanks you guys!! I just caught up on all your reports! I wasn't as far behind as I thought. :goodvibes:goodvibes

Wow, I give you props for running that race! :worship:

Hey, that Spongebob cake is awesome! Great job, girl!

That is a good pic of Austin that you took!

I really wish we would've spent more time in WS this trip, but we just never got around to it.

heheh, yeah working up to the race was a big pain the butt sometimes, but when I ran the race and finish- and it not being to hard. I was super proud of myself and my husband of course. I wasn't worried about time or placing.. I was only worried about finishing and enjoying myself.. and I did it. :goodvibes

Well...you are going again soon enough.. so don't worry you will be in WS in no time. :wizard:

Love the pictures, especially the one with you and Snow White.

I run, mainly for weight loss and to clear my head. I think I may have injured my hamstring (or something in my thigh), so I'm taking the next couple of days.

Great pictures! The one with you and Snow White is really cute!!!

I agree with you about Maelstrom -- fast and slightly confusing, but fun! :lmao:

The cake you made turned out great!!! I love baking, but have yet to master the whole decorating thing!

Thanks- I'm trying to include as many pictures as I can..since I did take about a 1000. I think thats why its taking me so long to update.. hehe or I'll just use that excuse.

GREAT job for you though. I seen on your signature that you have lost weight -I'm guessing from running! Thats really good- I have to figure out how to do that. hehe I haven't lose weight but my husband has lost 10 lbs. He keeps telling me he has more weight to lose- and thats why.. hmmm

Last time, we were finishing up France when I finished. The last picture I took was "I definitely have to eat here next time"
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/167-1.jpg

So I probably didn't mention anything about the rain- which is funny because of my title and I forget to tell you guys our daily forecast! hehe Today we got REALLY lucky because although it was cloudy and muggy all day- it hadn't rained yet. I think ever now and then we would feel a sprinkle but then it would go away.. and there was no sign of a rain cloud.

Yesterday (day 1) and the night before (our arrival) was crazy with treacherous storms. Let me just say, when it rains in Florida, it rains.. So today we expected rain because the forecast said rain and the weather said rain. We were always afraid to spend to much time inside somewhere. But our second day had turned out ok so far.

So finally we arrived!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/175.jpg
It was a long haul across the country- but we made it. Austin almost didn't make it but we did- and I'm happy. We have never been here before, and as soon as we walked in- we were shocked with how small it was inside.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/172.jpg
I did love all the character- and the service was nice. It was awesome cause as soon as we walked in, there just happen to be an open table- only 1. I jumped at it and told Austin to order mine. He of course got Guinness and he got me a "Cider beer" which is what I always call it. I think the brand was Woodpecker but I'm not 100% percent sure. It was very good. It was ice cold and refreshing. I'm not one for beer but I do like Guinness because of its thick coffee taste- but other than that I'm pretty picky. I would rather have a daiquiri or mixed drink. hehe But this is one of the beers that I will drink. I don't think it taste like beer. So if you're not a beer drinker and love cider try it. Its a very light-crisp taste.
Idk why but we though this 4leaf clover was amazing. Maybe this happens all the time in UK.. but not at bars here in our hometown. hehe (You can tell we don't get out much).
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/168pic.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/169.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/170.jpg
Both drinks look so ice cold and delicious. hehe and I'm not even a big drinker.

Us at out little table in the corner..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/171.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/173.jpg
(Austin took a picture of me- but it looked bad so I took my own hehe)
And this is me taking a picture of my disney tattoos- first time in Disney.. and also me putting my feet up and relaxing.. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/174.jpg

So finally we decided to leave, I could of sat there for hours but we knew that our dining resse was coming up soon, and we needed to get to Coral Reef. So we exit the Pub.. and Austin gets in line..... for another.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/178.jpg
So I took a picture of our view..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/176.jpg

While he finished his 2nd beer- we finished checking out UK.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/179.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/180.jpg

and we casually walked to Coral Reef..

As we walk past Austin says "Why aren't we eating here?!!" :headache:
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/181.jpg
HELLO? Where were you all the times I asked you for your input on dining places and you told me to choose. I actually had LeCellier on the list but took it off figuring we were eating at Coral Reef and would have steak. I know there steak probably doesn't compare to a steak house but I wanted to have it different every night. So I promised we would go next time.

I LOOVVEEEE these flowers!! I think they are bright and beautiful. I commented on them everytime I seen them. Does anyone know what they are? Would they survive a MI summer?! hehe

As most of you know, this is Austin and I's FAV. place. It was our favorite place we are ate the first time we came, and I guess now it just that much more special that its a tradition. Plus, the food never disappoints and this was the first time with dining plan and we get dessert! :thumbsup2

We got there early and checked in.. they open for dinner at 4:30pm, and we always make the first resse, so we can ask to sit next to the aquarium- and actually get to. Its always worked for us.
We have about 20 minutes or so to blow.. but we just decided to relax.. and we were pretty beat. It know its only 4:30- but we have been going full speed ahead since this morning.. and we were ready for a break. But we to worried to leave on a nonrainy weather and it rain later. So there wasn't much resting time.. let me put it that way.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/189.jpg
I think doesn't does a good job showing just how tired we really were... :cutie:
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/190.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/191.jpg
I tried to show my "I'm super excited to be a Coral Reef" smile but I was also very tired..

We were seated almost immediately at 4:30.. of course we requested to sit next to the aquarium and got it! :goodvibes We order our drinks.. and since we were using the DP, I went all out and ordered me a non-alcoholic Strawberry Stinger... yummmmy.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/197.jpg
and I would share our beautiful view.. but the pictures are just horrible.
Our waiter was super nice.. but really slow. And I try not complain expecially at WDW, but he took forever to come to our table.. and we could never find it. I kind of felt bad because it seemed like there weren't a lot of people working.. so he was probably running around crazy.
Of course.. we both ordered the Grilled NY Strip Steak - Served with potatoes au gratin.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/198.jpg
It was delicious.. I'm not sure what they put on the steak or the potatoes but it was just as good as I remembered. It's soo tasty I don't even have to use steak sauce or anything.
For our dessert- we both ordered the The Chocolate Wave.. which was very good. Not my favorite of the whole trip. But good. And I loved how they added a chocolate "Best Wishes" on our dessert for out Anniversary!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/199.jpg

Now.. today I am going to end here.. and save our "gift from mickey" until next time! :upsidedow
I'll try to update again later today or tomorrow.. if you get behind thats alright.. I know once school starts I will be crazy and won't be able to post as often.

Thank you. It's been really hard to keep running 4 times a week with our work/school and commuting schedule. I'm starting to worry. We did decide to go down to 2 miles until we improve the time a bit and then add on. so maybe next year we can do better times. Hey guys- I'm so sorry I am MIA.. this semester is extremely busy and with me commuting I don't know when I'll be able to update. As of right now, I leave at 6am to go to school, then I have school all day (DH and I ride together cause we are both here all day- and he has classes at night sometimes). So the earliest I get home is 8pm- and on some nights its 11pm- and then of course I go to bed. I haven't had time to post pics on photobucket to update date while I sit at school. I keep telling myself I'll update over the weekend- but its like sat/sun are my only days to do anything- which includes cleaning and laundry and grocery shopping. Pretty much that takes up my whole Sunday. Besides school I work Mon-Friday at the school I was hired at as an afterschool instructor. I love the job so far but I hate how late I work- because I get home and still haven't ate dinner- and its not like I can eat dinner at like 2pm.. I'm so use to eating around the same time for so long- its been hard. I usually eat dinner between 4-5pm. i don't like eating late. Also, this week I am applying for the College of Education- after this semester I have NO subject courses left- so I'm hoping I get accepted because it would start next semester. I just typed up my letter tonight and I'm dropping off my information tomorrow morning. ekk. I won't have the interview until Oct. and so probably won't know till the end of Oct.

I'm not sure if I told you- but I did pass my state skills test for teaching.:thumbsup2 I got it a while back but I'm not sure if I told you guys or not.

Also, this last couple of week (before school started was my goal), I have been searching for a place to move that's closer to school. We tried to live closer to our families but its just not going to happen. The commuting it killing me and costly. I'm sick of wasting money I gas.. hehe. I found tons of places but either they didn't accept pets, was way to big for the 2 of us, to expensive, a piece of crap, etc.. I was started to get really stressed about it. FINALLY, on saturday after driving around from noon-4ish.. we finally found a place. It was the very last place we seen and it was found on accident. go figure. But on saturday I did have apple pie ice cream which was amazing. So the place we found, isn't a house like we wanted but its a duplex with only 2 neighbors. It has a 2 car garage, it pretty small- almost apt. size but its really affordable and in a really nice quiet small town- which is what we wanted. We love the town. Where my school, work, and DH's work is located is in a big crazy busy town- and we have become more of the country folk over the years.. hehe It has a big yard for mags, there is a fireplace, washer/dryer in unit, paved driveway, my landlord pays the water.. woo hoo.. hehe, they accepted both animals and he didn't charge a fee for both animals- just a 1 fee-monthly, which I paid upfront. The only downfall is it is small, and I'm not sure where I'm going to fit everything. I've decided to get rid of my kitchen table because its huge with 6 chairs- and its only us two. hehe We have a island type thing so I'll just have booth seats there. Also, there is no tub- just a stand up shower- the shower is big but I'm kind of disappointed because I love taking baths. But my parents have a whirlpool tub- so I told them when I get the urge I'll just wait til weekend and then come over. hehe So its not a perfect place, but it has some awesome aspects and it felt cozy inside- which is weird because most places I move in doesn't feel homey for months. Plus, its not like its forever, its a nice little place until were done with school and stuff. And most importantly, its close to school!!!!! :woohoo: Its like its far away but only 15 mins. away from Austin's work. We get to move in Oct. 4th. He thought the other lease was up earlier- but its not so we have to wait another week- its like 3 weeks away. I hope I can make it that long. hehe I'm also going to ask if I can paint.

On a disney update- Austin wants to go back to disney soo very bad. hehe He even told me about a deal he seen on TV for free dining- but I told him thats only til December and even if we got it paid off by then- we would have no money saved up to spend- not with moving and such. We talked about going again- we already have planned Spring2011- but he said he wants to plan and go next year. Idk when we are going to go though because we love going in Jan. but Jan.2010 is to soon- and if we wait til Jan.2011- then we will be going Jan.2011 and Spring2011.. which won't work. it would be awesome but won't work. hehe so I told him either spring break of 2010 (marchish) but will be more expensive cause of SB, or summer 2010 or else we have to wait til 2011.

But it was funny- he actually wanted to go soo bad- he said- lets just check the prices and maybe put a deposit down on a trip- hehe i said "We don't even know when we are going". hehe I told him how I love- how much he loved WDW now. We will just be sitting there and he will say "I want to go to Disney World". hehe So maybe we will go sooner- and maybe we won't. but at least I know there is one coming in the future. hehe

I don't have a lot of time, but I've been wanting to post on here and tell you guys..

WE HAVE PLANNED ANOTHER TRIP TO DISNEY WORLD! :cool1::rotfl::woohoo:

I'm really excited because it was actually my dad who pushed it. and it was all because of Animal Kingdom on the travel channel- and Kilimanjaro Safari.. hehe I'll explain the story when I have more time. But it will be my first family trip to Disney World staying onsite! We aren't going until Jan 2011- but I'm just happy we have one in motion.. and I'm excited to plan it with my family. The people going will be Me, DH, my Madre, Padre, Brother and his GF. (My bro and his GF are up in the air- my bro has to go but doesn't like the idea of having to actually pitch in and pay for himself- sucks being an adult I know but you gotta grow up sometime.. and his GF wants to go but shes still deciding. We also aren't going to book until like Jan.. so they have a few months to decide!

Also, I am moving this weekend. Our internet will be turned off at my current home on Thursday. I won't have internet again until Mon. 5th. Which is next week. So I prob. won't be able to update over the weekend- but once we move I will be home more and have more time. Please be patient while I'm moving, unpacking, school, work.. I do miss getting on her often.

Finally a little update!

As I stated- way back when..heheh While we were eating at Coral Reef- we received a surprise from Mickey!

As were were enjoying our yummy dessert- The waiter came up to us and said "Mickey would like to give you a glass of Champagne to go with your dessert- to celebrate your anniversary?" We sat there for a minute... and I said "What?!" hehe. I heard him but it was like I was confused or something.. or I guess surprised would describe it. He again said "Mickey would like to offer you a glass of champagne with your dessert to celebrate your anniversary" We both then said- OK!! :woohoo:

I felt really special because even though I know they do this all the time to many couples in a day probably. I know that there were many other couples, families and so forth celebrating something and we were chosen this time! There was even a couple sitting at the table next to us that were on there honeymoon- (I knew this because of there pins- "Just Married"). I was also very excited because Coral Reef is our favorite restaurant- its one of our traditions- and since we received it here- made it soo much more special.

The nice newlyweds next to us offered to take a picture of us with our drinks!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/201.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/200.jpg

I was also surprised that they offered us alcohol and didn't ID us. This never happens- because we both look young.

After our drink.. or actually before our drink we were both stuffed to the max. I actually had a hard time drinking the champagne because I was so full and it was very yummy. Since we walked a lot today- we decided to go back to the room- rest our bellies and try to go swimming.. before it rained.

We were lucky today because it only sprinkled earlier in the day.. and it was actually sunny for a little bit. When we got back to the room- I quickly changed into my bathing suit.. and DH quickly grabbed his Xbox controller and jumped in the bed. sigh;) He sure did love this game. I was ready to go swimming.. and since I had a new bathing suit- which I liked a lot.. and even though I was still stuffed from dinner- I told DH to take pictures of me in my bathing suit- "Since we are in Florida after all" I mean we are suppose to be in our bathing suits all the time in Florida.. but thats ok. Just to show you guys my bathing suit- one someone.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/203.jpg
As you can see..my trying to pose and hide my stuffed belly.. hehe

Here's another picture he took- This picture just shows how exhausted I was after today.. and how wonderful the weather makes my hair.. I look rough. But thats ok- WDW doesn't judge. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/204p.jpg

Since we were closest to the Computer Pool- I wanted to use the other pool tonight- hehe DH looked at me like "A pool is a pool" hehe But I insisted.. and so we searched on.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/205.jpg

After swimming.. we went and changed our clothes- and decided instead of going back in the parks- we would just shop around at POP..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/207.jpg
I said Austy was getting his gear ready for the Renaissance Festival- hehe He wanted to be Jack Sparrow- but I talked him out of it. There are just too many Captain Jack Sparrows now. And DH doesn't really look like him at all. hehe

On the way to the store- we stopped walked through the food court- and DH and I seen someones chili cheese fries- and although we were soo full.. like 2 hours ago- we said what the HAY! and got a late night snack. I mean were in Disney World- we can go all out. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/206.jpg

After our little snack- we went back to the room. I got our clothes ready- sprayed them with wrinkle release to freshen them up. Checked our schedule for the next day.. and crawled into bed. DH of course played his game for a bit.. and I read one of the Disney books- and quickly fell asleep.

DAY 3: Hollywood Studios Day! and then Waterpark and Dinner at Biergarten.
So we both woke up to "Hakuna Matata" and I quickly jumped in the shower. It's the only thing that wakes me up.

Today I was happy because 1. I was wearing my new shirt- Three Caballeros- 2. We were eating at Biergarten (which we've never tried- but I'm German, and I loveee German food). I was stoked. and 3. DH woke up in a somewhat good mood today. hehe Him and lack of sleep don't go well together.

I told him to show me his excited face this morning.. for our Day 3 morning picture.
and well... he did do that.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/208.jpg

As we walked to the bus, I decided to take more pictures.. as you can see- it looks pretty gloomy outside. It was not looking good for us today. But so far every morning when I woke up- I would peak out the window- and it was never raining.

Other than that, your still in some ways a newly-wed so CONGRATS!:) I'll keep checking for updates, I can COMPLETELY understand how busy you are etc. Good luck with everything!!!!

I just wanted to say Thanks for joining.. sorry I'm soo slow at updating. But thanks for being along for the lonngg ride. hehe

Yes it hurt- it was on my inside right ankle. But actually the tattoo on my toe hurt even worse.

Yes that is very true. I wanted to wear them anyways- but I've heard sooo many times that you need to wear the pins because you do get awarded.. even if its just cast members and other random people telling you "Happy Anniversary" a 100 times a day. It makes you feel special.

Thanks. Actually- if you read my PTR- it talks about my search for a bathing suit- how I couldn't find one anywhere- I went all over- and either I liked the print but not the style or like the style but not the print. I knew I really wanted one with neon/bright colors, and actually I didn't want black. I also was insistant in getting the "bandini" style top. Which even though I seen on TV A LOT, I couldn't find it hardly in any stores. They were all halter tops or triangle tops. Finally, after I quit looking and decided to just wear an old bathing suit to Florida... I was at Walmart- of all places and happen to see neon bathing suits. They were OP brand, I guess its new at walmart. So I went and looked. I seen this top- and although I didn't want the tie bottoms- I just tried it on and I like the top. It was black which I didn't want but I like the black with the bright colors. So I got it. So I guess next time instead of searching for a bathing suit at places you think you will find one- shop at places you don't think you will. hehe

OK.. so when I left off.. we had just arrived to DHS. I knew that it was Star Wars Weekend.. and that it would be busier than usual at this park. BUT I honestly did some poor planning or something when we changed the day of DHS. I'm not a huge fan of star wars but I did want to at least check it out and I wanted a picture of with Darth Vader and C-3PO.. just because I feel like they are the coolest. hehe. I told DH.. we would just take pictures with them.. and do what we wanted at this park and then leave. Originally, we were suppose to go to DHS on a different day, but because of the weather and such, we had less time at parks and our schedule changed a bit then what we planned. We kind of went to the "play it by ear" schedule and was rescheduling our days the night before. Some how we ended up going to DHS on the Friday.. which was the first day of Star Wars Weekends. It was also the very first weekend. I told Austin we were probably going to be busy, but not insanely because it was Friday- and most people are working and will come on sat or sunday. Well... maybe they did.. but it was sooo busy when we arrived to the park.

Today, we our first day, waiting in line to enter the park. We arrived before the park opened =D, but it was to busy to see any of the entertainment. The closest I got to see anything was men on the roof. As soon as we got there.. DH started complaining.. see, he has never cared for this park. Which I feel this to a point. This is my least favorite... but it is also the park with The Beauty and the Beast show, and Toy Story, and the Great Movie Ride, and many great places to eat. So while, I usually only give half a day to this park- I do like to go to it. The theming is really great here.

I tried to get some pictures of things.. but it didn't really work.

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/227.jpg

Also.. just to let you know- When I'm taking pictures its usually as I'm walking.. soo sometimes the angles are weird and stuff.. hehe But I walk and snap.. otherwise DH starts to get irritated with all my picture taking.

As soon as we entered the park.. it didn't seem as busy.. but pretty busy.. but all of a sudden I look up and I see POOH! He was actually walking with a photographer- to his place. Of course I yelled "Look Pooh!!!" "I need a picture" So I ran to him.. hehe and DH had to catch up.. and guess what?! I was the very first picture with Pooh.. it was amazing.. a character picture with no waiting.. pfff!
I really like these pictures of us with Pooh. The photographer took great pictures to. there is one picture were I'm reaching to hug pooh and he is reaching to me.. I swear it looks like a true "magical" moment picture that you would see on a commercial or something. hehe However, I can't show you the picture because I ordered the calendar and forgot to order the CD.. within and then my time frame passed and the pics were lost. So.. After my TR ends.. I'm going to try and take pics from the calendar and share.

Don't you love the gloomy sky? I would probably be depressed with all the gloomy days.. but since I was at Disney.. it didn't phase me.. unless it rained.

As we entered the "Toy Story" area... I was shocked with how long the line was already. I guess everyone knew about the long lines.. so we quickly decided to get in line and get it over with. It said 20 min. wait- and ended up being about 30 mins. I really loved this ride.. and everything around it. I LOOVVEEDD all the small touches they made outside the ride, and inside. I really love this movie and they really hit it on the head.
So I took many pictures of pretty much everything.. hehe and also pictures of our view from where we were standing..

Hey guys! I just wanted to say that I might be going to DISNEY WORLD for Spring Break! Nothing is set in stone.. but Austin's best friend called him yesterday and told him that he wanted to go with us next time we go to Disney World. He knows how much of a disney fan I am.. and we told him the next time we were going was Jan. 2011 with my parents and brother.. he said he didn't want to barge in on a family vaca but he wanted to go sooner anyways. They said they found a deal through AAA for 3 days- with tickets for 200 in somehting. I'm not exactly sure. Austin told him when we got home that night that I would try and find us a deal. We talked about driving.. flying.. and how long to stay. We were thinking at least 5 days. But it is last minute planning, and we are trying to do it on a cheap budget. Because in Jan. 2011 I'm going again with my parents- and we are staying there longer and stuff. So.. anyways, I got online when I got home and i couldn't find that special. I did see that Disney was offering that free 2 or 3 days.. but its a little more than we wanted to spend.. but either way if we go 5 days- its 2 or 3 free days. So I'm not sure what we are doing.

I was surprised how fast DH said YES to going for Spring Break. But before he hungup- he told his friend "you know now that Jen is going to get all crazy with disney again because of you right?" hehehehe His friend said he knew how much I loved disney, loved planning, and have some experience with it so he wanted us to go together. So.. we will see.. were searching deals now.. will prob. go for about 4 days.

I'm sooooo excited but don't want to get my hopes up. I was thinking last night laying in bed- that is we do book it- then we have less than 180 days to make our dining resses.. hehe I'm already stressing. hehe But for this trip if we do go- I'm going to try and be more free and relaxed- and not so much with planning because we are going with friends, and I get to be the SUPER planner for my trip with my family.

By the way, my parents are super excited about it. They seen a thing on the travel channel that they remembered and my mom called me. hehe On Sunday, we went over there for dinner- and my mom was talking about the rides they remembered and stuff my brother said. It made me excited and happy for that to.

I have to go for now but I do want to try and post an update by this weekend!

Ok first off- Spring Break- well sadly, I'll say that it has changed a little bit. DH's friend and GF are super fans of Harry Potter- and they really want to go to Universal Studios(traders..hehe), and the new Harry Potter land.. I don't have much info on it. Although, i'm not the biggest fan or HP- that would still be pretty awesome.

So.. idk if they were thinking the HP was at disney or not.. or maybe they changed there mind after.idk. But they still want us to vaca together on SB. Soo.. they want us to go to FL stay offsite (no on US land), go the US, and to the Harry Potter thingy.. and do that instead. At first i was a little disappointed as I wanted to go to WDW soooo very bad. BUT I was also excited to finally go back to Universal because the last time I went there I was in 4th grade- and I've really missed some of the rides and have always wanted to go back but never wanted to rent a car while there, or didn't go to the Orlando area. I'm not even sure if any or all of theres rides are still there- ET (personal most favorite there), Back to the Future, Jaws, King Kong- I believe. I've always talked about them with Austin and so he has wanted to go there as well. I also think that staying offsite gives us more choices on vaca packages and things for cheapness, and to explore outside of WDW, even though it will be very very hard. But I've heard there are a lot of cool things to go to in Orlando- such as shopping, or the themed dinner shows.. sort of close- the ocean:goodvibes. So I'll keep you posted. At least i'm going to florida.. hopefully. Thats a smile in itself.

The next thing. For one of my senior class- communication classes I am thinking about doing a research paper/presentation on the disboards- in terms of social penetration theory and the media.. basically focusing on the relationships created, the intimacy- breadth and depth of information, the commitment we have, and stuff like that- and I was curious if I did choose to do this- if you would take part in a survey I create, or questionaires? Just so you know- I won't need any of your personal info such as name or address- I'll just use your Dis ID, and I actually really won't need to use that for the research paper- I will just need to use answers and things- it also won't be personal questions. If you guys are interested please let me know.

Ok- this weekend goal-disney update on trip!! Sorry i have been slacking on posting comments- I promise I will soon!

Hello Everyone. I just wanted to let you know. I have created a survey for my research topic on disboards and the friendships created. Please take time (if you'd like to) to fill out the survey. You can either post the answers back on here, send them in a message, or email me at jenausty@gmail.com. Either email with work. Please -if you email me- include your username. I do not need your real name, or any personal information. For privacy reasons I'm only going to use disboard usernames. If you have any questions- or don't understand them- please ask. I'll clarify. Also, the more information you give- the more helper it will be for my paper. so if I ask you a question and you want to add more to the answer- then yes or no- please do include it. Again, thanks for all that take part in my research.

As for an update- I have soo many cute, good little things to share. I've just been busy with papers, and research, and working, and lesson plans, and COE meetings. Which reminds me- did I even tell you guys I got accepted into the College of Education at school?!! If not- I DID!! And at the introduction meeting- they shared how this program is known around the world- and many states recruit from their graduates. which is sweeet! I knew it was a great program- but I didn't realize how great.

Ok, here if the questions.

Survey- This study focuses on the Social Penetration Theory and Media Ecology in Communication studies- if you are interested where my study is based.

1.What is the main reason you post on disboards? A. WDW vacation information B. Friendships created. C. To share my love of Disney World with other fellow Disney fans.

2.Do you feel comfortable disclosing personal information about yourself on disboards?

3.If yes, what’s the deepest layer of disclosure (Choose a number or specify): 1. generalizations about yourself (college student etc), 2. Preferences (things you like, pets you have, sports), 3. Goals & Aspirations (life goals, your career goals), 4. Fears/Fantasies/Religious Convictions- Religious beliefs, abortion beliefs, what you’re scared of, financial problems), 5.Concept of Self- your true self- basically you feel comfortable revealing everything about yourself.

a. Do you think it depends on the subjects and context? If you feel it varies and there are certain things you can talk about in deeper layers then others- please share.

4.Do you use any other blog/forum website as often at disboards to share reports and create friendships?

5.Do you feel that the friendships you’ve created on disboards are “real” friendships?

6.Do you feel a type of commitment or dependence with your friends on disboards? (Referring to the ones you associate with often). (For example, if it’s been a while and you haven’t been able to update your trip report or post on others reports- do you feel bad for not doing so, or feel like your neglecting those friendships?)

7.Do you feel the friendships created on the disboards are stronger than most blogs because of the core idea that brought us together (the love of Disney/Disney vacations)? (I know you all want to answer yes because we all love Disney, but please be serious with your answer.)

If I think of any other questions along the way- I will post them. Thanks again for your time- this is really creating a one of kind research paper and I'm extremely excited.
Once I have all your answers- I'll post the results at well.

Finally an UPDATE!!

First off I want to share a few things that have been going on WDW related.
-So about 2 weeks ago, my parents came up to visit for the day and we ended up talking about DW. I decided to show them different hotels that we could choose from. We are going to leave it at Value or Moderate. (Just so you guys know this is discussion about the family trip in Jan. 2011.) I know its far away but its the first WDW trip that is actually onsite and all out disney. So its going to take a lot of time and info planning this explaining it to my family. I think we ended up going with the Value resorts because my dad said "It will be cheaper for your brother and his GF to save and pay for it" and "Does it really matter- we will only be sleeping here" hehe Which is a common comment from many people. I actually like the Value resorts so I don't care.
But I've noticed I actually spend more time at the resort then expected. So its good to like the Food Court, pool area, and comfy beds. So I went on disneyworld.com and showed them pics of the resorts. They pretty much liked them all and when I asked which one they preferred because I told them I want them to choose- or at least help because its there first time, Austin and I have already stayed onsite, and it will be fun to have someone choose stuff with me. Of course guess what they said?! "It doesn't matter- we don't care" PFFFFF~ YES it does matter. So then I asked them what they liked about certain resorts. And I believe we made the decision on ASMovies because of the Dalmatian section, and the food court is pretty good. It was a lot of fun planning this with them. I think sometimes they get overwhelmed because I'll go off on these 10 min long speeches about things. I'm not trying to scare them away- just share my love is all. hehe I know one thing, they are in for a big surprise when the time comes. I don't think they realize just how big it is or how much there is to do. My parents and bro have only been to MK and that was on the 90s.

I know this isn't a PTR but until I start one, I want to share my joys, excitement, ideas, and so forth with you guys as I finish my TR.. if I ever finish it! hehe I hope you guys don't mind.

As for Spring Break (Mar. 5th- 14th timespan) We are still planning this. Today I talked to DH best friend on the phone. They want to go on a cruise. But also want to do something affordable so we can stay in FL as long as we can. With it being during SB time, flight is more expensive and so it accommodations. DH said that he wanted us to go to DW for a few nights at least alone- (see told you he is becoming quite the disney fan ;)), if they don't want to go. But it stinks cause right now Disney is offering the buy 4 get 3 deal and if we do that- then we are stuck there the whole time- which is bad but I don't think his BF wants to do that the whole time. The other thing is that we don't want to spend that much money- because he get more then basic tickets, and usually get dining plan. So it adds up. But if we only book like 4 nights- its the same price- after the deal is up. So who knows. We might go to a different area in FL. I'll let you know of updates.

Also, I ordered my family the Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 2010 book for Christmas. I wanted to get them the 2011 but it doesn't come out for a while. I know its early, but I figured it will be helpful when we are planning our days, our dining choices, and as they get time throughout the months they can read up on it- to give them something to look forward to. I told my bro- that he was in for it with our planning and little things I do for disney trips. hehe

OK TR TIME!!!

Day 3 Continued...

When I left off, we had just finished riding Toy Story. Which we loved. To bad the line is so long- I could ride that like 100 more times. hehe

As this point, we had waited as long as we could- we were starving. It was still early- prob. 12:45am- but we didn't want anything sweet-we wanted lunch. So we decided to head towards Toy Story Pizza- which I will remind you that Austin chose this one. He had to eat here because it was from Toy Story.

As we walked over there- of course I snapped many random pics. I wanted to make sure I got a lot from this trip.

When we arrived- we were excited because this was another new place to eat.

But as we entered we realized it was really empty- so empty that maybe possbly it wasn't open yet. So we walked over to the counter and sure enough we have like 45 mins to wait.

DH was instantly mad because "he was hungry now" hehe yeah, and so was I! hehe So we decided to waste some time playing some of the games, and we also took a picture at one of those booths. I'll share the picture at the end with the calendar pics.

Take 2: Little better I suppose..

Now it was finally time to EATTT!
When we got back, even though they still weren't open- it was a few mins away and there was already a line. Not to bad though, I think we were third to order.
Austin ordered the personal pepperoni pizza-with a salad and ranch on the side ;)
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/292.jpg
and I was feeling like something light and healthy- and a salad with melon sounded yummy- I got the "Pizza Planet Chicken Salad - Mixed greens, grilled chicken breast, cantaloupe, cucumber, red onion, tomato, green peas, fresh basil and balsamic vinaigrette"
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/293.jpg
and we both got the Mickey's Rice Crispy Treat! Which was very fresh and yummy.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/294.jpg
I actually saved mine for later.

As for the salad, although it looks pretty good- I was kind of disappointed with the amount of cataloupe that I got. The dressing was good- but it seemed kind of skimpy. As for the pizza- Austin said it was good but it wasn't the best and it didn't fill him up. After his salad and treat- he was still hungry and had to go buy more food. This place was the biggest disappointment so far. It wasn't disgusting, I just felt it wasn't good for a meal credit especially compared to Sunshine Seasons and many others. I guess I would suggest it for people with families for a time to take a breather- in the air and let the kids play. And the menu is pretty basic and good for kids.

Next up, Muppet Vision 3-D, more random pics, hotel arcade fun and how Austy kicked my butt at air hockey, and then dinner at Biergarten!

When I left off, We had just finished eating at Toy Story Pizza Planet. After ate, we didn't really know what we wanted to do. I think the lack of sleep and constantly running around was getting to us. And of the random rain that kept showing up. As this morning/afternoon went by we had already had 2 surprise down pours and it wasn't looking good. Of course, as we leave from eating it starts sprinkling- we decided to do Backlot Tour- because we thought it was inside.

Of course I took random pics while walking with an shared umbrella. Thats why some are awkward. But I tried. hehe We walked around a lot to because we didn't know where we were going. Actually DH said he knew- but he was wrong. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/299.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/300.jpg
See how sad the sky looked. :sad2:

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/307.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/308.jpg

But when we got all the way over there (Backlot Tour) we found out that it was closed because of the rain. booo.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/312.jpg
So we quickly made another move to something else inside. hehe We headed for One Man's Dream. Which I thought was going to be kind of boring.. because it was a walk through- but idk why I thought that- it was about Walt and all the great things he did. But none-the-less we got out of the rain for a bit. And well I was greatly surprised. I actually liked this a lot. It was very interesting and inspiring. DH also like this to.

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/318.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/319.jpg

After we were done there, it was of course still raining.. we tried waiting it out under the Mickey's Fantasmic hat- but after about 10 mins..my feet were soggy wearing my crocs, I was sick of the poncho.. and we decided to head back to the resort and rest up since we were tired- and hope and pray for better weather later. We enjoyed today but it seemed kind of wasted so far.
When we got back to the resort- I decided to walk through the store and get some gummies. (Which I pretty much can't live without- its my weakness besides ice cream).
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/325.jpg
Then we headed back to our room- which was always a trek. We finally found a little bit quicker way- and it kept us under the balcony when it was raining. When got back to the room- even though I was dead tired- I am just to keyed up and excited to be at Disney that I can't relax. Which is a good and bad thing. I have more excitement then my body can handle. I did lay down in the very comfy bed for about 45 mins. Couldn't fall asleep- DH played his UFC of course. I don't even have to tell you this anymore. hehe You guys should already know- any free time in the room not sleeping was UFC! hehe

Now our original plans were to go to HS for the day, the head back to room for a bit, get freshened up and go to dinner at Epcot- Biergarten. We didn't plan on spending much time at Epcot before dinner. Of course I was antsy- :goodvibes

The resort gave us free mins using the arcade- so we decided to take advantage of that. This arcade is pretty much the same as Toy Story, but I kind of like it a little more. idk why. I wanted to play guitar hero- but these kids were hogging it of course- and my time was running out. hehe
We each played a few little games- Austin mostly racing..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/322.jpg
Then we decided to play eachother in Air Hockey- which kind of scares me because some how my fingers always get hit with the puck- idk why. But its still fun. And Austin and I play really competitive- but he usually always wins.
The first game we tied and the second game he won!
But it was close-8-6!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/324.jpg
Then we decided to use our snack credit for the day. And we headed to the food court. I already knew what I wanted because I seen it tons of times being here, and on DIS before I left.
It was amazing.. by the picture it looks amazing!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/321.jpg
We both got the brownie sundae with chocolate ice cream- whip cream and a cherry. When we got up to the counter she said the brownie sundae wasn't on the dining plan- only the sundae was a snack credit. We didn't know that- we were suppose to be charged full price or meal credit. But she said she would let it go today! Nice Cast Member! :thumbsup2 We were really happy.

Next up, our fun at Epcot, Biergarten, Austin's many beers of the world, Epcot at night and Illuminations!

:confused3Has anyone stayed at the Fort Wilderness Resort? In a Tent? In March?

Have any of you ate at any of the places at the resort?

I ask this because DH's best friends GF- suggested staying at the campground part- with tents. She figured it would be cheaper and its a great idea- cause I loveee camping. But I got to thinking- after a long tired- poss. hot day- would i want to come back to a tent- with no air, no TV, and no comfy bed. I mean an air mattress only goes so far. I'm just worried it will wear us out even more. Cause I don't sleep good in tents. But I loovvee to go camping.

Do you have any suggestions? I thought maybe if we did that- we could just stay there part of the time, and then go to value resort- or just stay at disney part of the time and go off site for the rest. (and visit other things like Universal- or Sea world- or the ocean.)

Any helpful suggestions will be thankful.

I haven't stayed at FW before..but I have read TR's with people staying in the cabins there. They looked nice. Maybe you can look into them? :confused3

I have been to Hoop-Dee-Doo, but it was a long time ago..

Trail's End Buffet is so good! It's like WCC food with more options.

Hey Everyone, Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I just finished the semester last week and even though I thought I'd have more time- I have still been busy. I'm working more, and traveling more to see family. This morning I was going through pictures and realized I haven't shared any pics of anything in sooo long. And every time I take a picture I think "this is for the dis". hehe So I wanted to take a few steps back and share a few photos of happy memories.

This was from Sweetest Day- DH and I usually don't celebrate this holiday because DH thinks its just another Valentines Day. Which is sort of right I suppose. But this year he said, "I want to get you something". Of course life got in the way and we didn't end up buying gifts.. but I did surprise him with this delicious cake from a Patisserie near us.. which make amazing cakes. This was a chocolate strawberry cake with creamy strawberry filling in the middle. I can't remember what it was called. But it was delicious! And DH was kind of mad because he said "I told you not to get anything" and I said "We are both eating it- this is for both of us". We ate the whole thing over the weekend. hehe:goodvibes
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/Image325picnik.jpg

This next picture is from my friend Rachel's little girls Birthday/Halloween Party. We all dressed up as something with "wings". We were all mostly fairies.. but there was also a lady bug, and a bee. It was great and everyone loved our theming. By they way, these are some of my best friends from high school. There was only 1 person from our group not there.
For some reason.. I can't find our group picture.. so here are a few of all of us. hehe
I was also sick during this, so thats why I look like crap. hehe

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/jamieandericafairies.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/RachandBella.jpg
and at the last minute bday girl decided she wanted to be a kitty.. hehe She makes a cute kitty.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/kenzycake.jpg

Then for Halloween, we have Austin's siblings up, they stayed over and we went trick of treating with them. I dressed up, DH didn't and I didn't even think to get him a costume because he's not the dressing up type usually.. but this year he said "I don't have anything to wear" with a sad face and I felt bad. But next year I told him I want us to be Peter and Wendy or Peter and Tink.. He said OK!! and I said "And you have to wear green tights" hehehe and he said "OK!" with a grin. hehe

(don't mind the half missing U in laugh- it was right after we moved, it broke off in the move and I forgot to fix it. Don't worry its fixed now.. hehe)

Me with a more natural dark blonde color. Which actually looks kind of brown in the pics but its not. I like it. And you guys know I like to change. This looks very natural and idk why but lately I'm really into the natural hair color look. hmm..
This is me before:

and after. I've had this color for about a month now. I like both colors.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/Image369picnik.jpghe c

This is the cake that Austin surprised me with on my birthday! It's a mint chocolate ice cream cake with chocolate cake and whip cream frosting. It was amazinglyyy good. Mint choc. chip ice cream is my favorite and I didn't know they made ice cream cakes with different ice creams flavors like that. He bought it from a small ice cream place but I heard that other main stream ice cream places do to. Thats a great idea. He said hes not the best at baking.. and the only way to surprise me was buy it. hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/Image185pic.jpg

Here is a picture of my new tree.. which I got last year but used it for the first time this year. It's pretty! And don't mind my weird-to-small-for-the-tree star. I some how lost mine and DH picked this out. I was like OMG.. but we will get a new one next year. hehe

Notice the Disney wrapping paper.. :goodvibes without pretty bows and ribbons because I ran out of tape..pff. I really need to go shopping.
And I haven't been able to get a pretty one when its all lit up.. the pictures are never clear. If I get one I'll share.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/P1010945picnik.jpg
I tried having a theme but it never works.. right now I have mostly purple, pink, and blue bulbs but random ones we bought over the years. hehe Next year I might just do a blue tree.. we will see. I loveee blue lights. This year, I have pink, purple, blue, and 2 different mixed colors. hehe I told DH we might blow a fuse but at least our tree is pretty. hehe

Ok now I am going to catch up on your posts and then I will post an update!! Hopefully I finish everyone today! Thanks for being patient! And letting me share my life with you guys!

HOLIDAY UPDATE FIRST:

First off, I want to say that I FINALLY have a day to sit and relax and nothing to do.. not work.. not school.. not drive to parents.. no holiday dinners.. NOTHING. hehe Actually.. I'm kind of stuck here today until my landlord brings my new stove. But I'm pretty excited about it. I know its not really mine but its still a new appliance in my place of residence.. hehe So we will see what he brings.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas! I had a really busy week- but a really relaxing Christmas day. Like 3 days before Christmas my wheel barring in my car decided to randomly start grinding.. and I had no idea that anything as wrong with it before.. I mean there was an occasional squeek or something when I was turning but that was it. Nothing to be alarmed about. Soo.. LONG STORY SHORT I had to pay $250 to order the wheel barring which "wouldn't" be here until after Christmas.. anywho... we made it down to my parents on Wed. night. Thursday, I woke up early.. made my MILaw's blanket she wanted for Christmas.. talk about last minute.. hehe I know! ... then I finished wrapping all of my gifts for DH's family party. Idk why but it seriously took me like 2 hours to wrap everything. and yes I add the ribbons and bows. After that I had to quickly shower and get ready to go with my dad to buy my mom a gift- she didn't know about. Soo.. we packed everything up and headed out. Surprisingly we quickly found her gift and then since we were out he just dropped us off at DH's aunts so we wouldn't be late. We had that party for about 2 hours and then it was "I need to get out of here" kind of feelings... hehe We love them in all but it was to crowded.. to noisy.. and to much drama for me. hehe So DH and I snuck out and down the road to his bro's place. We hungout there for an hour or soo watching UFC video that Austin got for him. Well I should say they watch the video while I sat and talk to the SILaw. hehe We just pick the cute ones and vote for them! hehe Then on We went home.. I watched "The Hangover" with my brother and his GF.. and then we went to bed at like 2am.. and got up at 6am Christmas morning.. (its a tradition). And I never did take a nap- with picking up our mess, helping my mom clean and watching movies with my dad.. there just wasn't time. hehe

And that was pretty much my Christmas! I hope you all had a good day and have a good New Years!! :rotfl:

Day 3: Biergarten & Illuminations!

When I left off long long ago- last time I posted, I left you with that yummy brownie sundae at the POP Century food court.

After the sundae- neither of us felt good.. hehe and we headed back to the room to get cleaned up and head to Epcot for dinner at Biergarten!

As we were headed to Epcot- I was excited because we had a little time to spare before dinner. So we got to linger around the countries and check out some shops. We walked casually admiring the scenery and people around us.
And I must say I was EXTREMELY super duper excited for our dinner at Epcot! This was one of my "most-looking-forward-toos" this trip. I love German food and the culture, probably because I am German. I also love the language- its so unique and someday I plan to study the language. Plus, I have wanted to try to restaurant for YEARS and never got to until today. So my expectations were pretty high.

So we finallyyy arrived to Germany & Biergarten!!
As you can see Austin (blue shirt guy) quickly rushed to check in.. he was hungry!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/326.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/329.jpg

We were a little early when we checked in- so we waited in line.. patiently waiting for the server to take us through the doors and seat us! If you have never eaten here before, when you check in its actually outdoors and you wait in a waiting area outdoors. Its really cool though. Plus, it adds to the excitement because a server comes and gets you and takes you into Biergarten.. and you constantly wait for the doors to open and welcome you in! hehe So while we waited.. I kept trying to peak in when the doors opened.. and I took a few pictures of coooll things around us.

The Menu!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/330.jpg

We were seated on the upper level, not on the lower level with the stage of performances. We were seated by REALLY nice people. First, I will say that the two men across from us were extremely nice and asked questions and things like that, but the people next to us- "hogging the view" hehe we not very friendly- which was ok with me because honestly, I kind of DON'T like sitting a big table with strangers.. not that I don't like talking to people. But here is my complaint- While I was sitting there- trying to enjoy my dinner with my husband, take it the view around us- experience this place together, trying to watch the entertainment- I felt obligated to talk to the people who were sitting across from us. I felt rude if I didn't but I honestly just wanted to sit and enjoy this place. Thats the only reason why I didn't like it. Plus, I felt if I wanted to talk to Austin- I had to talk softly-so everyone at the table wasn't listening. hehe Other than that I liked it.

Our service was great! I liked the food a lot.. there were some things I didn't like but overall it was a yummy meal. DH however, wasn't impressed by the food at all. He said that he wasn't gross but he wasn't impressed. BUT he did loveee the beer.
hehe I don't remember exactly what he got- but it was a German beer.. I know that doesn't help.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/334.jpg
Here's our view of the entertainment:
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/331.jpg
and I thought this was cool- it was inside the building.. this whole place was great!

After dinner.. we decided to casually explore more countries and just enjoy the night until Illuminations. Of course.. as soon as we walked out DH said "Can I get another beer that was really good?" pffff.. me: "ok but this is the last one in Germany". hehe

Here are some pictures while we were strolling along..
Where Austy spotted the beer sign and kept saying "Bier" all night. it was funny.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/339.jpg
And if you ever seen the simpsons episode where homer is saying "bier" it sounded just like that. hehe I always tell DH is my littly homey! hehe

Belly Dancer!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/345p.jpg
It was kind of funny because we walked into a store and then I seen the belly dancer through the store- and we stopped and watched and then this guy from England came up to us- and just started talking to us like we were long time friends.. I was mesmerized by his accent.. until he said "I better go find my gf before I get in trouble" talking about the belly dancer.. pfff. He had been drinking.. and told us not to try the rice beer. hehe

This is only picture we got of us in Morocco-it was really busy and we said "we will come back again" and never did. :sad2:

I made DH wait until we got the England to get another "bier".. hehe and when we got there.. he has his favorite Guinness..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/357.jpg

After that we settled in England to find out spot for Illuminations.. and boy was it smushed!

Us looking really tired.. waiting for Illuminations. Our first time ever seeing it!

I loved Illuminations.. I wish we could be closer. But the globe is amazing.:thumbsup2

After Illuminations- it was EXTRA MAGIC HOURS at Epcot.. soo we rushed to the front the ride Spaceship Earth! :goodvibes

On our way to the front, a nice couple asked if we would take thei picture and that they would take ours. We said YES of course. It's not often getting pictures TOGETHER!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/391.jpg
We also got pictures with photopass also. I will share those pics in my calendar at the end of the report.

Lastly, we walked right onto Spaceship Earth.. which that night we decided that this was our special ride because we both loved this ride so very much. And we love the interaction with the computers. My favorite part is going backwards in the stars. :goodvibes

We didn't stay much longer.. even though I absolutely LOVE Epcot at night.. we were just to tired and had an early morning! So we headed back to the room. where I quickly passed out. hehe

Up next: Magic Kingdom & early SURPRISE character breakfast at Crystal Palace. Our first character breakfast! And Austy didn't know anything about the characters.. hehehaha.

It was VERY fun! In the past, whenever we went to disney it was always rush-rush because there is so much we want to do and don't usually have a lot of days and with us we never know when we are really coming back- so its important to fit it all in. Well this last trip we did some good planning, even with the rain we could relax a little bit and I noticed I had more fun because you could really enjoy yourself and take it all in. During that time it felt the most like a vacation. So in the future there is going to be planning and structure but I'm not going to demand so much- plus, in Jan. 2011 with my parents, bro and his GF there is going to have to be some flexibility- none of them have been to all the parts- only MK. So I'm going to have to breathe and count to ten.. A LOT. hehe

Happy New Year Jen!!
Thanks! :goodvibes I hope you have a great New Year as well!

Thanks- I really do try to get good pics of us and Austin tends to get annoyed pretty quick when it comes to pics. hehe

EXACTLY! Its one of the few times you actually "relax" in a ride and take it all in. hehe

Hope your car is okay and you got things fixed! Sounds like you had a great Christmas and thanks for sharing all your pics and holiday with us!!! Hope you're well!!

Yes are car is ok! $500 later and its all better.. hehe it better be! We had to fix the breaks as well- but those are a cheap fix. But now it runs like a jewel! hehe I told Austin that it feels like we have a new car because it was cleaned and car washed.. hehe and we haven't drove it in like 2 weeks. hehe It was sad! But now I'm happy. Also, I got satellite XM radio for xmas and hope to use it soon! hehe I've heard they have a disney/broadway tunes channel-- that would be amazing!! hehe

Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend! Mine was busy and stressful but I need get to see my best friend from Florida one last time before she went home. Of course the last time I see her I always cry. I'm a big baby and I cry about everything. hehe But its always sad to see her go because I don't know when I'll see her next and we have such a special bond that has been created over the years of our friendship that no other relationship is like that. You know the kind of friendship-when you are together everything feels complete, you feel completely comfortable to do or say anything, you understand each other without even saying anything-just by a look, just spending time together is fun even if you're not doing anything. Thats the kind of friendship that we have! When we were in high school, we were inseperable- if we didn't have a class together we always met up in the halls in between classes, we rode together to school- even though we both had cars, we hung out almost everyday after school before cheerleading practice, had practice together- we stunting partners since sophomore year, and spent almost all weekends together. Her family owns a race services company- where they control and are in charge of races. So they use to travel all around MI and I use to work with them. So we spent a lot of countless hours together. We have had a few falling outs after high school but we always work through and were always back to normal. Soo.. its really hard when she leaves me because I miss her sooo much- especially at first because I'll get use to having her around and then she leaves and I feel lonely for a while. Don't get me wrong I have other close friends from school, my other best friend I've known since 4th grade- and our bond is extremely close as well but not as close as with my friend Amber. I love that I have that friendship with her..but sometimes I wish I could find other friends that have that special bond, because its been really hard to find new friends in college and throughout life after high school that even compare. I know that sounds harsh.. but its true and its annoying sometimes. Anyways.. now that I'm done with my tangent. hehe Sorry I got sidetracked! hehe

Anyways, my life is pretty much back to normal. I'm back to work, back near school, and pretty busy.. next week I start school again. But I am actually somewhat excited for this semester to start because it is all teacher method courses.. and I have been waiting for these for a longgg time! ;)

Over the weekend I was over my parents house, and I asked my mom what year we went to MK- and she couldn't remember. I told her I thought I was in 3rd grade but couldn't remember sooo.. we got out the old photo album. Let me tell you, it has been a LONG time since I went through these and many of them I forgot. It was extremely moving looking at these pictures because I was so young, and the pics from disney, this was my first experience at disney and falling in love. My parents all look cheerful and lively.. anyways we figure it out- it was 1994. hehe long time ago. I think that my connection to WDW has grown soo much that looking at the pictures of the old Cinderella's Castle and with characters just really touched me. Also, my parents have the one day pass tickets in there and guess how much they cost back then?!!.....

$28 for a one day pass!! Thats CRAZY!

Anyways, after looking at the pictures we started talking about rides that they remember and I told them about Monsters Inc. and all the audience "including" attractions, and we talked about DTD.. and my dad said "we are going to be to exhausted by the end of the day to do that every night" hehe He was funny. And my dad was pretty impressed with DisneyQuest. He said "All you do is swipe your card and then you don't have to pay for any of the games?" haha YES DAD! hehe But my mom said during the week they went out to eat Chinese and my mom, dad, bro and gf- ended up talking about disney the whole time. It made me really happy but also mad because I missed such a great discussion!! But I'm happy that they are looking forward to and are excited- we haven't even booked it yet- we are still deciding days and so forth.. and then praying for a discount to come along eventually. hehe

We also talked about dining places- and again my mom said "we don't care where we go- as long as your dad something to eat- and he's not gonna want burgers for every meal" hehe My dad is really picky eater, and I told my mom there are A LOTTT of dining places to try but a lot of them aren't American Cuisine. So I think what we might do- is if we find one we relaly want to go to but can't cause of my dad- just have my dad, bro and gf go somewhere- cause all three are pretty picky and have us try somewhere we want to. BUT they did say- we did decided on Mexican for one of them! Which made me excited and I said I have the GREATEST idea- we should do the San Angel Inn! We have never been there- we have always wanted to and in May we wanted to but I got confused and I thought they were closed and they weren't. I think that restaurant looks amazing! Have any of you ate there?

As for Spring Break, I hate to say this but I'm pretty sure it won't be Disney... :sad2: Its not because we don't want it to be but I have been considering trying somewhere new because we ALWAYS go to Florida whether its disney or not.. and I want to explore some cities/states that I'm interested in relocating after I graduate.. which will prob. have to happen because I'm going to be a teacher and there are a lot of jobs elsewhere. One of the states besides FL. that I'm considering is South Carolina- but Coastal area- not inland. I have never been to SC- and I have always wanted to and after searching more- it seems beautiful and somewhat tropical like Florida.. and there are jobs there. I still have to explore cities and things.. but I think of SB we are considering the Charleston/Georgetown/Beaufort area. I don't want to do Myrtle Beach because I want to explore the city and culture- not just the beach. I mean this will be a vaca but not a normal one. Has anyone been to any of these areas? So you have any suggestions?! (I know its not FL. or disney but thought I'd ask! hehe)

If we do end up going to disney- they it won't be staying onsite or if we do- it won't be for long. It's just to costly at the last minute, adding all the tickets, and not having dining, and all that for such a last minute trip- plus, we are going again in Jan. 2011.. which is very FAR away.. but nonetheless we are doing a lot for that trip. So we will see.

Also, the SB group might change to just DH and I, or his bro/gf might come instead of his friend/GF.. we will see.

Hey Jen!
So good to hear from you and to hear things are getting back to normal again for you!!:goodvibes

I have to get the kids to bed...BUT, I wanted to comment on a couple of things....1st, Saint Angel inn, it's gets very mixed reviews BUT we've eaten there a few times and love it, I love the atmosphere in there more than anything. I think you'd like it. Also, about vacationing other places, it is nice to see other areas, you're right, but there is nothing like Disney!:cloud9: But, I will say my sister lives in Hilton Head, SC and it's just BEAUTIFUL there...the beaches are AMAZING (and I live in a beach area) and it's just a really neat area, we've visited Charlestown when we were there last and loved that city, too!! It's really a beautiful area.

Okay....sounds like a mad house here..better run! ANd oh! Glad things are fixed with your car!!! ttys!

I think we will most likely go San Angel Inn- because even though there are mixed reviews- I also heard many mixed reviews on Coral Reef and that is one of my most FAVVV places. Plus, are variety of choices will be limited- and we have never been there before- so I'm going to add it to the list! :thumbsup2

Thanks for telling me about SC- we are looking into it more. :)

Bright and EARLY the disney music went off to wake up Austin and I. Of course, I jumped right up..ok soo not jump right up but I did rise after about ten mins. I jumped in the shower and as soon as I got out I woke Austin up and told him to get in the shower. Our breakfast resse was at 8:15 I believe.. and I wanted to be there at 8am- and of course.. Austin stated wining because he was tired and didn't want to get up this early to go eat breakfast.. basically he decided to stay up to late and play UFC instead of going to sleep and I kept warning him. He was getting on my nerves big time and normally I just would of said "fine- we can go later with no resse" but I didn't because I knew this was a character breakfast. Austin didn't know that- I was going to surprise him.. and debated telling him on the way.. I didn't though. So I wanted us to go sooo very bad- because I had never been to a CB and this was a surprise for DH and I wanted an easy way to get pics with the characters!!!

So after some more complaining and wining all the way to MK- I was persistent and we arrived at 8am. The parks didn't open til 9 am this day- and my goodness I love having the parks to myself-- you can really enjoy and check out everything. It's amazing!! If only it was always like that! hehe

Bright and Early- BEAUTIFUL SKIES! (FINALLY)
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/398.jpg

We had arrived early to Crystal Palace.. soo after we checked in.. we just roamed around in the sun.. and I took pictures.

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/401.jpg

Idk why but I just lovvveee Crystal Palace and all the details. I know its nothing special but I just think its so classic and beautiful.
I loved the bench.. and this is where we sat to wait..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/402.jpg

and this is our view from the bench.. not to shabby!! :goodvibes
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/403.jpg

As we were waiting- DH said "This doesn't have any games, shows, or characters does it?" I froze for like half a second thinking-how would he know about character breakfasts-- did I ever tell him about them before? and why did he think of it sitting outside? hmmm..
And my reply was "No.. I just made it early because I wanted us to get an early start".

We waited only a few minutes and then we were seated! I thought the inside was even more simple yet charming! And the food smelled amazing..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/410.jpg

And as we arrived to our table.. this was there-- :lovestruc
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/404.jpg

She said it was for our anniversary!! This seriously made my day.. I know its just a heart made out of confetti but that was really nice. We also recieved a card with all the characters signatures and before we left- she put the confetti in our envelope! :goodvibes

The food was delicious!!! I tried almost everything at least twice! hehe and DH quit complaining.. hehe and I said "see wasn't it worth it- getting up early" and he said "I guess- I could of waited" and then smiled.. I wanted to smack him but I was just toooo happy. :goodvibes
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/405.jpg

And then the funniest part of ALL- when the characters started walking in!! :rotfl2:I have to laugh to myself because I had my back to them so he seen them first and he said "HEY I thought you said there wasn't any characters or anything?!!"

"And because I didn't know if he would be mad or not- I said "I didn't- no one told me" muuaahhhhaaaa! ;)

But even if he would of been mad- he quickly got over it and took many pics with me!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/406.jpg

I had to do this.. Eeyore's tail is soo cute!

We didn't get a picture with Pooh because when he came by.. Austin was up getting food and there was no servers around to take pictures. boo hoo. I was kind of mad.. for like a second.. but being at disney and having such a good morning.. I just let it go.

I took this as we walked out--

So we lingered and enjoyed the emptiness of the park!
This view never gets old!

Sooo.. we did decide to stay in MK for a while.. so we headed towards Cinderellas Castle and waited for the rope drop (Our very first rope drop of the week)!

Yes, it was one of my MOST favorite mornings.. the food alone made it worth getting up soo early! hehe

Bump to the front.

Thanks for fixing the problem.

Hey Everyone! Sorry it has been a while since an update. I actually got on the other day and tried to post an update- and it wouldn't let me. OhMari I guess closed it because its been a while since I posted- but it was less than a month- which seems weird because I've read posts where its been months before they posted and they still could.. so idk what happen. But its all fixed now- and sorry if you got on and read and thought I just quit posting. I am going to try and work something in by the end of the week.

But for a little update on Disney related- I don't think we are going to go anywhere for spring break- we have decided to probably spend the money on some new furniture and items we need around the house.. NOT my first choice- but it needs to be done. I would like to get a new recliner aka. "Queen Bee Chair" hehe and things for the room. We thought about taking a road trip maybe this summer- around May.. but prob. not to Florida.

This has been somewhat horrible news for me because I have been having crazy withdrawals from disney world. It doesn't help that its winter here and horrible sad weather. BUT I've been listening to dtuneslive.com sidebar, my grooveshark.com disney playlist, and pandora.com- disney in the morning for like the past 2 weeks. I want to go back soo mad. It hasn't even been a year yet and if we don't go this summer- it won't be til Jan. 2011. But at least there is one in the near future- I just can't wait to book it and start with the planning.. well more detailed planning..

I have been talking to my parents a bit- and I feel like they aren't going to be planners like I am for Disney. And I don't want to annoy them- but I like to have things planned out- they don't have to be set in stone- but having certain things planned out makes for a relaxing vacation. But we will see how it goes.

Also, a few weeks ago I sent my parents a WDW travel planning DVD... my mom called my and said- we got a disney DVD in my name- and it said "Welcome _____ Family" hehe I said Yeah, it was me- I signed you up, I wanted to surprise you! hehe She said they tried to watch it but then it froze- and I told them to wait until we got together and I want to watch it with them! Heck- its an excuse for me to watch the disney DVD!! DH can take only do much of my disney rantics! hehe

Ok thats all for now! I hope that everyone is doing good!

Hey girl, sorry to hear about the no more Spring Break trip. That's a bummer. Look at the bright side- you get to pick out new things for the house!

I completely understand the WDW withdrawals. Have you listened to DIS radio yet? I love it. It definately gives you a little "fix".

I hope the DVD works when you guys try to watch it! It is an interesting DVD if you've never really been before.

Yes I know the feeling! O my countdown it says 10 months which isn't super long.. but still to long for me. hehe This morning I woke up dreaming I was at disney world with my family.. we were only at the resort... but it was a magical dream.. hehe

So when I woke up- and realized it was a snow day- I jumped up, turned on my disney music and decided it was a good day for disboard updates! hehe

Yes, I am excited for some new furniture and I'm thinking of talking DH into a new bed- I have the mattresses which are new- but I want a new look- I kind of like the log beds but idk if they will look right with the theme I'm going with. hmm Idk.

I have listen to DIS radio before and I am subscribed to other disney podcasts to- so that does help... or its making me more crazy.. who knows. hehe:lmao:

Yes, I also hope the DVD works- I am planning a trip to my parents this weekend and I'm hoping to watch it! I have all the DVD's that have come out since like 2002- and I love to mix it up and watch them.. actually this last DVD was my least favorite.. but I still love it cause it's disney.

SNOW DAY!!! "NO SCHOOL NO WORK- LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA" (to the tune from Lion King (No king-No king). hehe I did that to Austy this morning and he said "thats not funny". hehe

So today I have the whole day to be lazy, listen to disney music, possibly do some homework and UPDATE the DIS! YAY! :thumbsup2

I already told princess&her4princes this, but I woke up this morning when DH alarm went off- and I was woken up from my dream that I was at Disney World with my family.. we were only at the resort- but it was still a great dream.. so when I got up- I checked the news- SNOW DAY FOR WORK AND SCHOOL. So I excitedly jumped up:yay:, turned on my disney music, and rushed DH off to work, and then decided it was a disboard update day! hehe

Day 4: Continued
So after the amazing breakfast at Crystal Palace! I was ready to take on the world.. except for once it was kind of sunny, and we were suppose to head to Hollywood Studios after breakfast, but once we were at MK we just didn't want to leave. Soo.. we quickly figured out other plans for the week and headed towards the rope drop- where I shared pictures before.

Since we weren't suppose to be at MK today and this wasn't our FIRST time at MK this week, we didn't really care where we went or what we did- which was kind of nice. It was really casual and relaxing.. there was no list! hehe But I also felt kind of lost cause DH kept saying, what do you want to do? What next? And I had no idea! hehe I was happy just strolling along in MK on the first sunny morning all week.

But we made our first stop at Peter Pan's flight- which had always been one of my favorites. (How funny, as soo as I started writing about this ride- Peter Pan's flight song came on, on my player.. hehe now thats magical right there.) hehe:goodvibes
There was no wait in line, and so we jumped right on. Actually, we were one of the first group of people to ride it that day- because they were still getting it ready when we arrived.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/422.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/423.jpg

Next we headed to the Haunted Mansion- because we hadn't done this one yet either! I was super excited for this one, idk why but its one of the best attractions- I believe.
I decided since there was a wait to take pictures of the things around us.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/426.jpg
I always find these tombstones so humorous!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/427.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/428.jpg
Then right as I snapped a picture of the doors- the door began to open.. and SNAP. And she was quick to say real snotty "NO pictures on the attraction". I wanted to say "I didn't mean to take a picture of you, the door opened" but I just said "Ok" and kept walking.. I didn't want her putting me in bad mood right before one of the best rides ever!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/429.jpg
Then as we walked out- I took one last picture
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/430.jpg

Austin decided he wanted Splash Mountain" next.. which I absolutely LOVE this ride, but we already rode it, and it was the first day that it was sunny with no rain- or wetness. I was sick of being wet and soggy- and I didn't want to voluntarily get wet. But Austin wouldn't take that answer- so we headed towards SM- he favorite ride. But on the way, DH decided he wanted to use his snack credit already- I said- its like 1030am and you want an ice cream? :confused3 But I can't judge, I love ice cream and I guess if you are going to do it- it might as well be at WDW! hehe

So I made him FIRST stand in line to get a picture with Donald! and then we headed for his "mickey ice cream bar" he had to have.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/431p.jpg
I forgot to take a picture of it before.. so I made him stop for me to take a picture.. I told him.. you can tell he is enjoying his yummy melting ice cream bar. ;)http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/432.jpg

Ready to get WET!

After we were somewhat wet, but still happy it was sunny- we decided to go to Tom Sawyer Island- we have never been and have always wanted to go. I will say this was quite an adventure- this was completely different than I expected. It was an easy-going- fun adventure. If you haven't been- it truly is fun. My fav. part was all the cave tunnels- except DH didn't like them. He said they were to tight and he felt trapped. hehe

While waiting in line:

Finally at the Island:
I absolutely loved this! I love the accent and how things were spelled.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/439.jpg

(please excuse any rough looking photos of us.. its was pretty warm- and we were sweaty and also tired from lack of sleep the night before).

View on the Island- Splash Mountain I believe..
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/442.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/443.jpg
I made him pose- and told him to put it up and be like "atent hut" hehe He wanted to push me! hehe But he loves me. :rotfl:
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/444.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/445.jpg
Before DH RAN out of the longest dark black tunnel- I made him stop- I propped up the camera- and said "lets show our true feelings" I think we hit it on the head.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/446.jpg
I love the small touches of Disney!

Next- after TSI- what did we do next? More MK? Head to HS or back to the Resort? Dinner at BOMA!!!!

Honestly, still no readers?! This makes me sad..:sad1: But I must push through and finish this TR as promised.

When I left off, we had just finished at Tom Sawyer Island.. and we were both pretty beat. It was so sunny and nice out but we had an early morning, the wonderful sun was sucking our energy, and it was getting into the middle of our vaca when lack of sleep was catching up to us. We kept debating what to do. So we decided that we would just head back to the room for a bit of relaxing, possibly swimming, and then head to dinner at BOMA! My most looking forward to dinner! and because we were visiting Animal Kingdom Lodge! :woohoo:

On our walk back to the bus-

I took a picture of this- so I would remember to return for an amazing ice cream cookie sandwich!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/448.jpg

and were stopped by this:
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/451.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/452.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/453.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/454.jpg
and I was very happy with how these pictures turned out. As most of you know everything moves fast, the dancers, the characters and its often hard to get good pictures of the parade. But I was a quick snapper- and am pretty happy.
We didn't stay for the entire parade.

But as we arrived to the resort, after stopping at the store, grabbing a few snacks, and laying on the bed for about 30 minutes.. I was getting antsy. Whether this was a good thing- who knows.. but I didn't want to waste this amazing day in the room, nooo matter how tired I was. So after begging and nagging and arguing with DH about what we should do- he gave in and headed to Typhoon Lagoon before dinner. I felt that this was the best day for us to go because it was really warm and sunny. BUT I said- I want to relax- so we should just sit around the lazy rivers, lay in the sand and enjoy the weather..

Sure we could of floated around in the pool at our resort- but I felt that we could easily swim at the pool anytime.. even at night when we return. I would rather take time to go to a water park now- since we we changed our schedule all around after we arrived.

So finally Austy gave in, and we headed to TL.

So even though we both agreed we wanted to relax at TL.. once Austin arrived and seen all the water slides- he disagreed.
I did talk him into the lazy river first.. and that was nice. We talked to fellow floaters and they commented on my disney tattoo.. and he told his wife "I should get a disney tattoo". But after we were done- DH said "What should we do now" I tried to talk him into relaxing but he wasn't having it and wanted us to do things- So I finally agreed- EXCEPT- I kind of have a fear of crazy water slides- and especially really steep/tall slides.

I think it has something to do with- when I almost drowned in the ocean- in FL during my spring break my senior year- but ever since then my fear of water/slides and so forth is wayy worse. I like pools- I just don't like being in really deep water, I have a fear of touching the bottom now (even though when I was a kid- I grew up in my gmas pool- that was 10ft deep), and I don't prefer crazy water rides.. especially when I'm alone.

Well I tried pointing out things that I was willing to do on the map- which were great rides- but Austin was mad because "they were to far away" and he wanted to ride "the one that was right here". So after I tried to convince him to go stand in line and do it- while I laid in the sand- he wouldn't- and got mad and said fine- lets just leave. and he seriously, went to the locker- grabbed our stuff and went and changed his clothes.

So I went and changed and almost started crying because I felt like he was being unfair. It's not my fault I don't like crazy water slides, and I have a fear of water.. and he knew before we even went to WDW that there was going to be things that I wasn't going to do- and I told him "You can do them alone- I won't be mad". His thing is that he doesn't want to wait in a long line alone forever. pff.

So after we changed our clothes, we headed to the bus to go to AKL, even though we were WAY early- by hours. and we didn't talk to each other for like 20 mins. But after sitting on the bus and relaxing a little bit we finally talked.

Next up- Did Austy like AKL? Did we finally get along? did we like Boma?
and just for fun:
a preview picture of amazing chairs and sitting area!!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/455.jpg

(Sorry about the lack of pictures at Typhoon Lagoon- its kind of hard to take pictures in the water with a non waterproof camera, and while arguing...:guilty:

Aw Tom Sawyer Island looks like it was fun for you guys! We haven't done it for a few years. We are still sad that they closed Aunt Polly's-which is where we used to get yummy treats and sit at tables across the way from the Haunted Mansion.

But...I have not and will never go in those caves!

You are right, that parade does move fast. We haven't really taken the time yet to stop and watch it all.

I haven't been to any of the water parks yet, but it sounds like it was nice. And it's always fun to meet nice people while in line.

Love the pic of the chairs. I could sit there right now! :cloud9:

I have never been to Aunt Polly's so I have nothing to miss.. hehe but I liked Tom Sawyer- its prob. not something I would do everytime but it was fun- especially the bridges, pathways and caves!

But...I have not and will never go in those caves!

hehe You have never went through caves? I thought you had to at certain points to get to the end. The only one that freaked me out was the last one because its extra long and I felt like I was stuck!

You are right, that parade does move fast. We haven't really taken the time yet to stop and watch it all.

I can't believe of ALL the times you have went you haven't been to ANY of the wateparks! I have only been to Typhoon Lagoon. I wanted to ride the rollercoaster water slide- I can't remember the name. But of course we didn't do that because DH was being a weirdo. But next time we will prob go to Blizzard Beach cause my bro wants to go there really bad. But the rides there are more thrill and scary so idk!

Love the pic of the chairs. I could sit there right now! :cloud9:

I could too! I loved it there. I also thought the chairs were amazing!

When I last left off, we were leaving Typhoon Lagoon and taking a bus to AKL- where we were having dinner at Boma!! I was extremely excited about this because I have never been the AKL and I was excited to hangout at this amazing resort. I also knew how much Austy would love this place. As I said last time, because of the arguing we left the waterpark WAY to early and arrived at AKL extra early- by hours. I believe we had like 2 1/2 hours to wait for dinner. We even tried to check in early- but they didn't open til 4:30- which our resse time.

When we first arrived- I went into the bathroom, changed into nicer clothes and got cleaned up the best I could. I added a little makeup, some smelly scents and went back to meet Austy.

When I finished- we decided to walk outside and check out the animals and the beautiful surrounding.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/463.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/464.jpg
I was amazed by this resort. It's everything I could ask for- besides a beach. hehe
Here are some pics I took:

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/459.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/462.jpg

Finally after walking around.. we settled at this seating area with a pretty sweet view of animals.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/455.jpg
I loved these chairs- I wanted to take a few home and put them on a big back porch- which I don't have.. but would like to have! hehe
And then I set up a camera- for a pic of us as this beautiful place but Austy blinked!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/457.jpg
I actually have a few more pics on my phone but DH lost my phone cord that plugs into the computer.. soo idk what to do.

After sitting there, we went inside and sat at a little circular area off to the side by the check in desk. We both ended up dosing off for a bit. We were both starving when we woke up.
And finally- eating time!
This is what Boma looks like when empty! hehe
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/460.jpg
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c48/ynnej02/461.jpg
We checked in a few mins early. And were seated almost immediately after it opened. Its great to go right when they open because the crew plays a little music and cheers before it lets you in.
What can I say about the food: It was amazing. There was A LOT of choices. It's a buffet style dinner and there is tons of things to try. When we first entered the line- there were some things that looked iffy- but we gave it a try and everything that I ate was delicious. I will definitely return in the future.
Some of the many things we tried. Yes, we both left not feeling so well.. but it was worth it! hehe

Are you talking about the white/chocolate item? or the chocolate cup item? The white/choc. item were zebra domes. DH loved them.. I thought they were pretty good. The choc. cup thing- I'm not sure of the name. sorry. But I remember it was kind of like a peanut butter cup except the middle filling was really creamy and smooth. It practically melted in your mouth! hehe

I don't know how crazy of fans you are of Alice in Wonderland. But it has always been one of my favorite movies.. its one of those classic favorites. Well I did see the new movie and loved it. But I was a little disappointed with the 3D aspect- but it could have been the crappy theater we chose to go to because it was closer than the usual one and it wasn't IMAX. But it was still a great story with great acting. Anyways, the other night I decided to search AIW apparel and jewelry- just because I love wearing disney items, especially the hidden small touches and because I need to do further research on things to wear for future trips. Well.. I just googled items the other night and seen soooo many things. IT CRAZY how much it out already and then this morning I got an email from disneystore.com and went there. Just from this site alone, these are the items I want. Of course, they are all expensive because its Disney Couture and other name brands that are affiliated with disney stuff. Here are some items. I wanted to share my excitement with fellow disney lovers. :upsidedow

Shirts:
I loved the style of this tank top- it has a picture of Mad Hatter on the side.

Of course, I'll have to narrow and decide what I want.. hehe
