POR Carriage Ride?

I made a reservation for a carriage ride at POR for DBF and myself on a whim... has anyone ever done it before? Is it worth it? I'd like it to be a special, romantic moment we could share together. Also, if anyone has any pics, I would love to be able to "imagine" it! :) TIA!!!!!

I ended a trip with my parents and DD with a ride in POR riverside..and it was awsome. The perfect magical way to end a perfectly magical trip. Relaxing and special.. I highly recommend it! I even remember my drivers name.. His name was Kelly!:thumbsup2

Wonderful way to end the evening; I took my mom on it a few years ago.

Now two years ago, I took three friends down with me and we did the quadracycle thing - that was really fun. I think we giggled the entire time and it was mid-evening - it was so beautiful and quaint.

Yes, but HOW popular? So popular that you absolutely need a reservation to ride one, or can you just grab a midweek ride onsite easily? (I'd love to do this next time I go to Disneyworld, but I don't want to have to feel like I need to micromanage every moment of my time while I'm there).
