California Grill Menu on Deluxe Dining Plan

We went to California Grill on the Dining Plan two years ago and I remember that our server was not much help explaining the menu. I ended up getting Snake in the Grass (and WOW!!) and I got a salad as an appetizer (this is when the DDP included an appetizer).

We are headed back this year on the Deluxe Dining Plan and I was hoping someone could help me understand...if you get anything off the Sushi portion of the menu, that is your main course? What about the flatbread?

The Snake in the Grass and Yoshi's Deluxe Sushi Platter have to be ordered as entrees - you can't have them as appetizers.

To my curren knowledge, any other sushi or any flatbread can be ordered as an appetizer.
