Today started off with me going to my full time job for about 4 hours. My co workers surprised me with a cookie cake. I was touched.

I got off of work at lunch and got home about 12:30 and packed up the car. I did not think that all that stuff would fit in the car.

I know I am forgetting something but can’t think of it. Oh well I will figure it out later. We leave home about 1:10. We have to take the video games back before we go. OMG I remember what I forgot. I forgot to give my mom the deposit slips for my Cracker Barrel paycheck. Thank God for cell phones. I call mom and she agrees to meet us at Stevie B’s pizza buffet (I have a coupon 2 for 10)
We get to SB and I see kids are 10 and under. I asked the cashier if DD can be 10 still just joking. Lady did not know how to do the coupon so 3 buffets and 3 drinks were 12.91. I lucked out. Lucky streak number one. I forgot to take pics of lunch. Mom meets us by the time we leave and I give her 2 deposit slips.
I go to Cracker Barrel and get my check. It is $35 more than I expected.
We begin to drive. I drive first since I don’t want my son driving in Atlanta traffic.
We get to the point where all the traffic begins and all of a sudden I have to go to the bathroom. OMG it’s the middle of Atlanta where will I find a bathroom. We go in circles and finally I give up. Now we are lost. Thank God for the GPS. Somehow we get back on I-75 after the traffic. We drive about 30 miles and then find a arbys. Thank God I could wait that long lol.
We get to the Forsyth exit where I did my training for my job. I have a free coupon for a blizzard if I buy one first. OMG how much is the one I having to buy! $3.57.

I finally let my son drive. He did better than me. We get to Cordle Ga. And Danielle has to use the bathroom. We stop at a no where gas station. Looks like the only one in town. I have cash I want a lottery ticket. DD says no I will waste money. I get them anyway. I got two $2 tickets and two $1 ticket. I paid $6. OMG I won $30 on two tickets. I never win at home.
We finally get to the hotel in Valdosta.

DD wants to swim. DS wants to go to Valdosta state University. I want my free cheesecake from fazoli’s so we all head out and go visit VSU. Nothing is open but DS is just happy seeing the college.

We then went to Fazoli's I got my cheese cake and spaghetti, DD gets lasagna and DS wasn't hungry. It was pretty good. DD ate half of my birthday cheesecake :rotfl:

I'm not a fan of driving through ATL, good thing this trip I'm avoiding it by going down I-95.

Food looks good, yummy.

Glad DS got experience being the driver and got you around without a problem. It must have been fun for him.

We get up at 7 to eat. We have eggs, grits, sausage ect for breakfast. It was good for hotel food.

I did the online check in so I went to the sign with the computer mouse.
I get all of the paperwork and my birthday button. I ask what room we are in. We were in the 90’s building. I asked if we could be in the 50’s or 60’s since we wanted to swim in the hippy dippy pool. They put us in the last 50’s building. Next time I will stay in the 90’s since it is closer to the buses and classic hall.
We get to the room and bring all our stuff in.

Thanks I went picture crazy sometimes :) We only stayed on property for 8 days but we were in Orlando for 15 days. I wish it was on property the whole time.

So when we last left the drama DS was freaking out about going out in the thunder while I was determined to get my birthday fun card. I finally get the kids to the car. I decided to drive since we were going to dinner after the parks. We go to the Magic Kingdom and I head straight for the Will Call window to get my card. Now since it was raining the next question to answer is did I bring ponchos to WDW. Well we went last year in June and it rained once so in my mind it was going to be the same so no I didn't bring ponchos to WDW :headache: So I spend $24 on ponchos at the newsstand before the entrance. I rip mine right when I put it on. Thank goodness I get to exchange them if they rip (thanks Disboards )

We go in and kids want to eat first. We head to pecos bills. I got the kids burger with fries, grapes, and a diet coke. Kids got burgers and fries and a drink. I got a free carrot cake for my birthday. I was $1 under budget for meals. Good job!

We walked around in the light rain. DS was complaining that it was crazy to be out in the rain. Informed DS that we paid for it and we would ride the rides.

Dang it my batteries died in the middle of the ride in my camera. I have 20 batteries at the room. I bought some in the POTC gift shop. I spent $6 on batteries. That will teach me not to bring batteries. So now I am out $30 on things I should have in my back pack. Did I learn a lesson today? Stay tuned and find out ;)
Next we walk around frontier land and DD wants some jelly beans from a store. This may be where her new obsession comes from. Can you guess what it is?

We walk out and see Donald Duck in his Frontier land get up. We get the pictures but DD forgot her autograph book. She did this a lot on this trip and it will be a source of a big meltdown coming up later in the week.

Next we walk right on Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain since it just stopped raining. DD and I were in the back of the log on splash and DS did not want to ride (this will become the theme of the next few days)

We then get on the Liberty Belle riverboat. It was OK but it was a little tame for me.

DS was with us until the room stretched and it kind of scared him and he did not want to ride anymore. When we were getting on the ride he went out the exit. I wasn’t about to force him since I hate small places and all.

The monorail driver was on the college program and talked with DS about it. We get back to the resort and off to Dinner we go.

Where did we go? Well here is a hint: it is off property and has awesome ribs.

I tried to be one of the mean parents who make their kids go on the Haunted Mansion no matter what but my DD threw up all over DH as we were in line to load for the doombuggies. :sad2:

Poor man was all squishy in his crocs as we left to get cleaned up.

Aww...too bad your DS didn't go through with the HM ride. I really think the stretch room is the worst part. The actual ride itself can be a little silly at times and not all that scary. Well, maybe next time? :wizard:

Thanks for the most recent update. I had problems with my camera batteries on our trip too. Except, I did remember to bring extras to the park. (Sorry!) But, then, I couldn't reset the date on my camera right so all of my pictures have out of whack dates.

So we were going to dinner after the park but DD just had to go back to the resort and fix her hair etc etc. Before I had left for Florida I entered my email address in every restaurants website and was armed with free dinners on my birthday (or within 2 weeks of it) coupons. I decided that I wanted ribs so we were headed to Tony Roma's. I put the address in my trusty GPS. I had so much faith in that little contraption cuz it would never tell me wrong :rotfl2: Along the way we passed the park I want to visit next trip

So we get to the road that Tony's is on and GPS says to turn left. We do so and I look at DS and while we are arguing over where it is DD speaks up and says "guys we passed it on the left back there" why she didn't tell us before is beyond me :confused3 but she liked to do this I discovered.

So apparently everyone wanted ribs as there was a 45 minute wait. I usually don't wait that long but dang it I wanted those baby back ribs. So waiting can bring on a powerful thirst. We got a table after 40 minutes and I ordered this:

Notice the pineapple in the drink? I hate pineapple so not thinking I gave it to DS and as I was digging the chunks out of it to give to him DD spoke up and said "mom you know there is alcohol in that" again after the fact. I snatched it out of DS hand before he could eat it and suffered through my first pina coloda with pineapple chunks in my drink.

He didn't eat it all and wanted to bring it back to Pop with us. We didn't have a fridge so 2 hrs later it went in the garbage.

DD had the kids ribs which I didn't get a picture of. She ate off my plate since the kids ribs only come with 4 ribs. I ordered another drink without pineapple this time :rotfl:

After dinner I wanted to go to wal mart and get some breakfast items for the room. DS wanted to drive further so he put in one that was 9 miles away. I kept saying isn't it right up here :confused3 Well we went through a $2 toll and I figured out what he did so I took the 4 bucks out of his souvenir money.

Next up we tour the resort at night.

OMG they were awesome. I wanted to go back and get them again but we ran out of time. I had all the coupons in my binder of menus. I did hurry out of the room a few times and forget the coupon :headache:

I would totally (OMG the 80's is calling and wants its valley talk back :rotfl: ) recommend the GPS to anyone. We only had a couple of glitches that will come up later ;) . Well after making DS turn around and go through the $2 toll again :scared1: we went to the one by International drive.

I love that movie. I have it in my DVD collection. I mean Nic Cage was cool but I wanted to marry Ralph Macchio, Rob Lowe, and Jake Ryan (the character not the actor lol.) You are going to make me have a 80's movie weekend :happytv::rotfl:

Yep! I love that movie. I know all the words to it. I watch it everytime its on tv and quote what scene is missing or what bad word they said :rotfl:

Welcome! The UCF part of the trip is a day that I don't think I will forget. It happens a few updates from now :)

Great POP pictures I will be there in a couple of months I can't wait.

Pop is great. I will stay there next time. It is huge especially when your feet hurt and your room is a million miles from the bus. I am going preferred next time :santa:

I set a wake up call for 7 AM for our first full day in WDW. I heard the call answered it and listened to Stich and Mickey and promptly went back to sleep :scared1: When we finally got up I sent DS to get 2 refillable mugs. So what time did we finally make it to AK? Well apparently a teen girl will not leave the room without doing hair and make up even in sweltering heat :lmao: so we got to the park at 10:46 AM :mad:

We get in the park and both kids start complaining how hot it is while wearing the backpack. The bickering was getting on my nerves :headache: so I rented a locker. We then walk past this:

I love the colors of these birds. Now as you may remember if you read my Pre TR I was on the hunt for Winnie the Pooh since DS wanted to meet him and I did not want to pay big bucks to see him at CP. I decided not to tell DS who I was looking for until we found him. I decided to look while on the way to get a fast pass for the Safari. Not even in the park 20 minutes and out comes the words I will come to hate: "mom its so hot when can we go back and swim?" My reply was to ignore it :rolleyes1 and get my magic shot with Simba with the kids. Afterwards head off to get fast passes for the Safari. Our return time was after 1:50. We saw these drummers along the way

So now we have gotten to the park and got fast passes, kids complain about the heat, and we get our magic Simba picture (or do we ;) ) so what do u think the kid's want to do next? I'll give you a minute to think about it :rotfl:

I just found your TR and was enjoying all the pics of POP and the nostalgia when I saw the one with Michael Jackson. How bittersweet that was your favorite era and his album was in the shadow box (not sure if that's what those are called).

Your kids sound like mine were at that age (altho I still have a 16 yr old son). When my DD joined me on my trip in December 2008, all she wanted to do was find places to smoke :headache: Plus we didn't get to see hardly anything at AK on our last day, just KS and took the train to pet the animals for my GS. I definitely enjoyed my 4 solo days before she came :laughing:

I know! I was looking through my TR to see what I put up and saw that. I hate the fact that he is gone. But like my mom said we all have to die sometime. Her idol was Elvis and he was buried on her birthday so she knows all about this :)

When we last left you I had already heard the words "when can we go swimming" and we had fast passes for the safari. What comes out of my Disney darlings next? "mom I am hungry can we eat now?" I said "we just got here!?" but what can you say when kids are hungry so off we go to find lunch. Along the way I took a picture of the mountain

I loved the decor in this place it was so colorful and cheery. So it was about 11:15 when we went in so it was not busy at all. I got a kids mac and cheese with grapes and jello. DD got a kids pizza with apple sauce and jello and DS got an Italian sandwich and water. I thought it was OK for the price but my meal was luke warm.

The photo pass lady reminded Lilo that DS was too old for her :rotfl: It was now time to seriously search for Pooh. I finally found the boat dock :banana: Well when did DS figure out who we were gonna see? When as we were walking down to them Tigger was walking out to get a drink :laughing: DS was excited but being a male didn't want them to know it. And I was excited since I would be saving $ by not going to CP.

I did get a few pictures taken also but they are on my photo pass. After finding Pooh finally we went to get fast passes for Expedition Everest. Our return time was 5:40 :scared1: that was almost 5 hours later. We went back to go to the Safari and out of the corner of my eye I saw this:

I wasn't even looking for DeVine. We watched her walk for a few minutes. I was amazed that she was there. I heard she was hard to find. So on we walked to the Safari. Along the way we ran into Jungle Book characters (forgive me I don't know their names since I have never watched the movie)

Great that you got to see Pooh and friends. I know how much you were back and forth on CP.

I loved this safari. The only bad thing was I had drank too much and the bumps were not helping the cause :rotfl2: After the safari DD saw a cart that had stuffed tigers and wanted one. DS was still complaining about the heat and wanted a water. When I got the bill after paying I noticed he got a vitamin water that cost 4 bucks. I informed him that since he took it upon himself to get the most expensive water that I would be taking it out of his souvie money (he never did this again lol).

Next up more characters, a parade, a show and someone pushes me to my limits.

Well my determined little DS went out and got himself a job!! :cool1: :banana: And why is mom so happy? Because DS will help me pay that massive car insurance bill that went up when he got his driver's license and he can help pay his cell phone bill. DS is already making plans to buy a car, his own school clothes, and use his own money when we go to WDW so he can buy "whatever I (he) wants without having to ask mom" His new job is at McDonald's. It is kind of ironic that he got his first job there because that is where I got my first job when I was a senior in high school way back when. I made 4 bucks an hour :scared1: He will be making at least 7.25 an hour when minimum wage goes up on July 24. Now back to my trip report :) I will update tomorrow. I was working on my photopass pictures tonight. I have 10 days left to get them done :eek:

So when we last left you we had just bought a ridiculously high water (don't worry he got the money back and then some :rotfl: ) and went on a safari. Next I wanted to go see Mickey and Minnie since we had not seen them yet. Off to Camp Mickey we go. Along the way we find another character that I didn't know. I asked the CM and found out he/she was from Tarzan

I swear if I does not have a princess or a catchy song I have no idea who they are :rotfl2: We continue on and come upon these bears. I asked DD who they were and she said they were from the brother bear movie. She had to watch it in a class and she said it made her sad.

In the picture DD is laughing because the bear was picking at her ear. She is very ticklish on her head and neck area :rotfl2: So has anyone figured out which character DD is now obsessed with? Well here you go! But for the life of me I have no what made her this way.

The funniest thing happened while DD was getting her pictures with Goofy. The photo pass CM told Goofy his fly was down :rotfl2::rotfl2: So that was the highlight of the experience.

So while we were here I asked the Photo pass CM where would I find Daisy. I was told that she was one of the hardest characters to find. That she was always out shopping :rotfl: CM told me that she is usually at MK during rope drop. I figured out then and there that I would never get to meet the elusive Daisy :rotfl2:

After the parade I wanted to buy something from AK. I got a shirt with Pooh bear on it looking at a tiger. You will see it in the pictures for the next day's park. DD also came in because she was in full on Goofy mode and wanted a necklace with him on it. DD had stuck a deal with me by then. If she was good and stopped complaining about going back to the resort then her friends could spend the night when we got home. The things I do for my sanity :rotfl2: So while in the store DS stayed outside. He was really beginning to annoy me. We still had the fast passes for EE. DD and I left the store and DS was not happy that we were going back to ride EE. continued in next post so I can add more pics :laughing:

So along the way to EE there is a lady out by the FOLK telling everyone the next show was about to start and that it was air conditioned. So we went into the show. DS said "after this can we leave?" I said NO! I am going to ride EE with or without you!! So we went inside and were seated for the 4:45show. We were seated in the Giraffe section. (how did they know that I love giraffes :lmao: ) They said a giraffe sounded like a sheep and told us to make the sounds at the appointed time.

I liked the show. It was cute. Sadly this is the last picture I have for the day because once we left the show DS pushed me to my breaking point where I was about to be one of those screaming parents that everyone hates to see :rotfl: SO we leave the sow and DS asked again "mom can we go now?" I said "if you want to go so much then just go get on the bus and go back to the resort" Well DS went back to Pop and took my camera along since he was the holder of the camera when it was not in use :headache:

DD was still in her bribed mode so she wanted to go ride EE with me. It was about 5:30 by this point. We get to Dinoland and I wanted to ride Primeval whirl. There is a 20 minute wait. We get in line and halfway to the front they start making announcements that inclement weather may stop the ride. We get almost to the front when they close the ride due to rain. They gave me and DD reentry passes that are good until May 31st. Too bad that we are not going back to AK this trip. So since it began to rain I did not get to ride EE this trip :mad: I think the only thing we rode was the Safari. I so need a do over for this park. Now remember that we had ADR's for Rainforest Café? Well since I sent DS back to the resort I called and changed the reservation to DTD for the next day at 5:00. BUT that was not going to stop me from shopping in the store! I came out of there with two shirts and some magnets for my family. But no pics of the store :( DS has called by this time panicking because of the storm coming. I reminded him that he chose to go back and we would be there when we got there. I told him to go to the room and get the mugs and my camera so we could eat dinner at Pop. We get to Pop and DD gets a kids beef and broccoli with rice and I got a double cheese burger with fries. DS got nachos. But I have no pics since he forgot the camera :headache: DD did not like her food. I made DS go up and get us a tye dyed cheesecake. OMG it was so good. After this we went to Cracker Barrel so I could see the Florida State gear. I didn't find anything I wanted. DS said we went to Walmart again but am not sure what for :rotfl: We got back and DS had to watch Stacy. I think he is obsessed with her. He had to go to sleep with her on the TV.

Next up: Will we make rope drop? Did I really buy new shoes? What did DS do this time? Will I ever eat at the Rainforest Café? :confused3

I love your TR, mostly cause I can relate to the antics of two teenagers! :lmao: I got to the start of Day 3 (10:45am arrival to AK) and then my computer started acting wierd. I rebooted and now I have to go back to read more. I think this TR will keep me entertained for awhile. Wow ....14 more days of teenagers to go. Nice pics!

I go to the cottage for a few days and you hop into update mania. Holy smolly gal. I'm amazed with two teenagers that you get enough computer time to do any updates at all. I have to push my three (and they are not teens yet) aside to get to the computer.

So when I last left you I had sent DS back to the resort and had a rain out for EE. I set another wake up call for 7 am. I didn't make it to rope drop again :rotfl2: I am not sure what time we finally got up but DS started again. Today was going to be MK and they were open to 2 AM for EMH. DS said "why do we have to go to a park for over 12 hours" I informed DS that we had ADR's at Rainforest Café that night and would leave the park for a while. So I informed DS that he could stay at the hotel because I was not going to listen to him all day again. :mad: I gave him $8 bucks for lunch. So DD was getting ready through all of this and we finally left the room at 11:43 AM :scared1:. DD decided she wanted to take pictures of us. Yes I took the camera this time :rotfl2:

I had on DD's old crocs since my feet were swollen from the day before. We were looking around in Everythings Pop and I saw some cute pink Mickey Mouse crocs. Did I make the ultimate Disney mistake and buy new shoes?

Yep I sure did. I spent $42 on these shoes. I was also in a giving mood for DD since she went with me without any problems. So I bought DD a peace necklace that did not count as part of her money. We finally get to the bus stop at 12:05. We get to the park and take several photo pass pictures in front of the entrance.

So we got to the castle at 12:48 (i love time stamps on photos :rotfl: ) and asked DD where she wanted to go first. Well if you have read the last 2 days you know the answer :rotfl2: . She wanted to eat. She wanted to eat at the noodle station but of course when we got there it was closed. Is it ever open :confused3 So here is where we wound up.

I will never eat at that time again. I stood in two different lines for what seemed like forever. We had to eat outside and did not leave until after 2:15. So after we leave we head to one of our favorite rides.

At first when we were in the training room I was like is this it? This is not that great. Then when we go in the room and sit I liked it too. I said DS may not ride this since it goes totally dark. After this ride we go to my favorite in Tomorrowland (I have not got to ride Space Mountain yet)

I don't know how she did it but DD hit one target and got 999,999 points on her first shot. I think I got 90,000. We got FP for later to have a re-match. It was time to head to another part of the park.

OK when we last left you I had left one kid at the resort and the other one was draining me of my pride on Buzz lol. We left Tomorrowland and went to Toonland

It was 4:12 when we entered Toonland. Now DD is a big fan of Tinkerbell. So I took her into the Judges tent to see the Fairies. She thought we were going to see the princesses again. So apparently everyone wanted to see the Fairies as the wait time was 50 minutes. I think this was the longest wait the whole day. We meet a few people in line and of course embarrassed DD since I talk to anyone in line...but thats just me I get bored so I talk to strangers. Guess my love for Rick Springfield didn't teach me anything. So how long did it take to get to the fairies? Well long enough for one little girl behind us to go to the bathroom 3 TIMES before getting there. DD told me something funny after the meeting. She said "mom when they said they were going to shrink us to fairy size i thought they really would" :lmao:

So notice the look on my face in the pictures? I was in so much pain it was hard to smile. But I wanted my picture taken with Tinkerbell. Why was I in pain? Those darn $42 dollar mistakes I made 5 hours before. Yes DIS members I broke the rule of not wearing new shoes and now I had two blisters on the inside of my feet. You know where the button is with the croc on it? That is where they were. I made good use of band aids after this. So the answer to the how long to see the fairies was 90 minutes :scared1:

So when we went inside it was hot and sunny. When we left it was pouring rain. Did we learn the first day? Nope us smart girls left the ponchos back at the resort with DS. I told DD we would wait around for a little while and see if it slacks off but we would have to go soon since we had an ADR at 7. So I called DS and guess what he did while we were there? DS goes swimming and meets two boys from New York and they were all in my room playing his playstation. OMG I was going to blow a gasket after that. I informed DS he would not be staying at the resort alone again. So DD and I waited for about 20 minutes until I said we had to go or we will miss Rainforest. So we go out in the rain without ponchos or umbrella. I refused to buy another one. Well I walked a few feet and stopped. I kept repeating this process since my feet were on fire. I talked DD into letting me use her flip flops and she wore the new shoes. We got the the transportation center and I go the wrong way to get to the buses. I head down toward the boats. It was flooded and water was everywhere. I walked in it and almost cried. I had to turn around and go back since my feet were burning. We got to the bus stop and I told DD to call DS and have him meet us in DTD since it was close to ADR time. DD said no way she was going to dinner looking like a drowned rat and all wet. :scared1: OMG is the Universe trying to keep me away from the Rainforest? What am I going to do now?

Next up: Do I get my dinner? What did I do with those shoes? And two meltdowns during EMH.

So when we last left you DD and I were soaked from the rain and DD was refusing to go to the Rainforest Café without drying off.

So after DD said she was not going wet I called dining and asked if we could change our ADR to 9 pm. Thank goodness they let me or I was going alone. So we went back to the resort. DS met us in the lobby with his new friend Kyle. Needless to say DD was :love: . We go to the room and change clothes and I steal DD flip flops for the night. I told DD that there was no way I would ever wear those painful shoes again and searched for the receipt. DD had to take pictures of the new her after the downpour.

So we head down to the bus and I make a stop at the gift shop to try to return the shoes. The CM that I went to was like "I'm not sure if we can take shoes back" She turned to her co worker who said "of course as long as she has a receipt. I was not to be out of $42 dollars. I was glad the other CM took it back.

We were finally on the bus to DTD. One reason I was so determined to get to the Rainforest was that I had a coupon for $10 off my meal. I was trying to do this trip on a budget. So we finally get there :woohoo: and I check in at 8:45 with the people in the purple elephant.

So we walked around for a little while but I did not want to go to far since It was almost time for our ADR...or so I thought. We looked at the place I have heard about so much here on DIS. DD was excited to see that her obsession had his own store. I told her we would go in another time since we had to hear our name called.

So about 9:22...almost 45 minutes after we checked in they called out name. We were sat in the bar section that looked like a party table. Two CM came over and asked us "did you seat yourself here" I replied "no we were sit here by the CM" which I was asked "what did he look like" I said "I have no idea. Is there a problem" Which they replied "hold on we need to find somewhere else for you since it is a party table" I said "they sat me here" So by now I was really questioning my desire to eat here. After almost a 45 minute wait with an ADR and two CM practically pushing my out of their section I almost got up and left. But I followed the rude CM to another table. I am glad I did since our new CM was very nice. Her name was Roxy.

It was good but if I go back I doubt very seriously that I will pay $18 for this meal. DD was considered a child here so she ordered off the kids menu and got the Rainforest Rascals.

DD said they were good and would order them again.

So as I said Roxy was a great CM and came over and asked if we would like a volcano for dessert. DD and DS were getting a kick out of people ordering these since it had sparklers and everyone yelled "valcanooo" as it was being delivered. But as I said I was on a budget and was not about to spend $14 on dessert. So to my surprise I had this delivered to me by Roxy

It was no volcano but it was a nice surprise. We ended up spending $52 here and that was with the coupon. I enjoyed eating here once we were sat with Roxy but I would not reschedule an ADR three times next time. I would eat something else. So after by time we had finished eating it was 10:15 and I had one question....How do we get to MK for EMH from here :confused3

Up next: How do we get to EMH, DS really had a meltdown over this ride being closed for EMH, and DD has a meltdown in Fantasyland.

Remember when I told DS he had to pay for the tolls for taking us the wrong way and when I said the day before he would pay for the $4 bottle of water? Well DS really wanted the drink in the picture and and the souvenir cup. He said he would take it out of his money. It was about $8-10 for both. I didn't tell DS this but I am a sucker for my kids. I bought him the drink and glass because I had bought DD the necklace that day. I think both kids went well over their alloted spending money.

I was cracking up reading your trip report. I made the mistake of buying the blue and green mickey crocs one year:scared1:.
WARNING !!!!WALK AWAY FROM THE NEW SHOES WHILE AT WDW!!!:rotfl:.
I am going to WDW in 3 weeks with 2 teenagers(DD16 and DS13) and a very very very talkative 7 year old(will turn 7 on this trip). I am taking some hints from you. Ignore the 1st few request to go back to the room...got it! Hold my own camera...got it! Make DD bring her brush and a hand towel so I dont need to run back to room...got it! If someone does go back to the room, remind them no pool and surely no company...got it!
Keep it coming, I will need it.:thumbsup2. Teenager have their own way of thinking...we are wrong remember. We missed that memo,LOL.:rotfl:

So when we last left you I was trying to figure out how to get to EMH at MK from DTD. I dragged the kids to the bus stop and looked at all of the resorts posted. I jumped in line for the CR bus. It is one of my dream resorts so I figured it would be the only time I would ever get to ride one of their buses. So EMH that night were from 11:00 pm-2:00 am. DS and DD were already complaining that we had to stay that long. I of course turned a deaf ear to them and took lots of pictures of my CR visit. We arrived at CR at 10:58 pm.

So we head to the 4th floor to get on the monorail. We had the car all to ourselves. We got to MK about 11:15. Everyone was walking out as we were walking in and a few people yelled "they are closed" at us but we kept on going.

We go to Tomorrowland and we get DS a fast pass for Buzz Lightyear since DD and I still had ours. Well this is where DS has a meltdown. I can't believe someone would get so upset over a ride being closed. For some reason COP is DS favorite ride and it is not open during EMH. So DS gets mad and says he is not riding any rides at all tonight. That if he can't ride his favorite ride he is not riding. OMG over COP who does that :confused3 But anyway. DD and I decided that we were going to ride Stitch again. I figured DS would get over it by the time we got back to him. But he didn't and DD and I rode Buzz without him. I think she beat me again.

We leave and head to Fantasyland. I never knew before the Dis that we could go through the castle.

When we got to FL we saw characters every where. So this is where it is DD's turn to have her meltdown. Now remember she has her obsession with Goofy. She saw that he was signing autographs and taking pictures. Well when we were at AK she did not take her autograph book with her so she did not get his autograph. She had it earlier in the day and got autographs from the fairies. Well it got a little wet in the rain and she forgot to bring it to EMH. Well she was saving her last bit of souvenir money for a t-shirt at Ron Jon the next day so she wanted me to buy it for her. I told her she should have brought her book and she said "I want his autograph!!" So DD had her meltdown. So being the nice mother I was went and got her one. I was talking to the CM as I was buying the book with my Fun card. The CM scolded me for using my birthday money on the kids. She said she tells other parents the same. So anyway I take it back to DD and she is all smiles and "I love you" and "you are the best mom in the world" So spending 7 bucks to make her that happy was worth it :)

We finally left after 2 am. There was a line at the buses. And it was before I learned the secret on how to avoid standing on the buses. We were on the bus for about 15 minutes. We had to stand the whole way back. Now this was at 2:30 in the morning with two grumpy, tired teens (can you tell how tired DS is in all the pictures?) and two feet with blisters on them. After this ride I always waited for the next bus. We get back to Pop and I swear it took me 30 minutes to walk from the buses to the room. I had to stop every few steps and rest my feet. Finally I took the flip flops off and walked the rest of the way barefoot. We got to bed about 3:30 am.

Up next: We take a day off, lunch is sweet, and dinner is among the stars.

He will be 3 on Sept 1, so we are going while he still gets in free. My cousin is a CM at Epcot, so she is getting us into the parks and got us a great deal at Pop. We don't have the dining plan either. We decided that Chef Mickey's was a must for him! He was born at 33 weeks and has had a tough time. He has been in and out of the hospital the past 2 years and still dealing with multiple health issues. This trip is all about him and will be the first real family vacation that we have gone on. What was your Disney trip dates again? How long were lines for shows, rides, and for pictures with the characters?

So when we last left you we had returned from MK for EMH. I had May 25 planned as a day off. I was determined to sleep late so when we returned to the room after 3 am I put the DND sign on the door and planned on sleeping until I felt like rolling out of the bed. I am a heavy sleeper so I did not hear a single toilet flush or any noise there was. Well DS had other ideas. He woke me up about noon. I think it was the latest I slept the entire trip. I had coupons for my birthday at many different restaurants. I wanted to try a place I had never been to before. We arrived here at 1:18 pm

I had a coupon for buy one get one free for the buffet. Plus as a added bonus DD was considered a kid here :cool1: We went in and got salad at the beginning of the buffet. OMG it was good.

I really enjoyed the meal here. The great thing is I am still getting coupons for BOGO but the closest Sweet Tomato is 30 miles away. I am taking DD and DS to the mall for school clothes soon and may end up eating there. I wish we would get one in our town.

After lunch DD wanted to go to Ron Jon to buy a shirt. For some reason DD wanted a lime green shirt. She wanted one when we went to the one in Cocoa Beach in 2008 and could never find one so she was on a mission to get one.

After looking again she did not find the shirt again but got a pink one. Here is where DS has a new meltdown. He had saved his money so far and wanted to spend the bulk of it at the University of Florida. DS decided that he wanted to buy a $25 dollar shirt and a $40 hat here. We argued about it for a little while and I informed him that I would not buy him anything at UF if he spent all his money before then. He stood his ground and I said fine and bought it for him. By the time we got to the car DS decided that UF was more important than what he bought so he asked for the receipt and took the stuff back to the store and returned itl We head back to the resort after this and the kids go swimming and I take a nap. I was still exhausted from the day before. I informed the kids that we needed to leave for dinner at 6:00 for our ADR.

Next up: We meet new friends, tour the resort, and we have dinner among the stars.

I missed your post yesterday. I am going with the dining plan this time. You are so lucky to have family working there. I told my mom the other night that I was going to move to Orlando and work at Disney one day :lmao: She said I was crazy lol. My dates were May 22-29. It rained a lot so we didn't have a long wait at most places. The longest wait we had was for Toy Story.

OK so as most people know I have two jobs. I work full time for the state of Georgia. I get paid holidays and leave each month. Now for the other job I work at Cracker Barrel where I have worked for 7 years. I only work there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every week so I can afford to go to Disney. Well as you can tell by my ticker I booked a trip for DS birthday. Well I put in for the time off 5 MONTHS in advance at Cracker Barrel. Well when I was discussing an issue with the manager yesterday she informed me that I did not have the time off since it was the busiest time of the year. She said that I would lose my money since requests are only requests. OMG its not like I am the only one that works there. I don't even work the week of Christmas. Cracker Barrel closes at 2 pm on Christmas Eve which is Thursday and they are closed on Christmas. So why would it matter if I miss 4 days when I work 7 days a week the rest of the year. So I decided to try to compromise and work the week before Christmas and leave after full time job on December 23 and come back after the new year. Disney changed the dates I have to pay $100 more but at least I will be there for NYE. So I call the HI Sunspree to change my reservation there but this is where I am getting annoyed with the whole situation. HI Sunspree is $140 bucks a night for the 3 days I want to stay. My back up hotel is $100 bucks a night. So basically I have to decide if I go back to the original dates or stay somewhere else. I have been looking on the travel sites all night but can't decide. I really like getting paid weekly at CB but it is not my full time job. But I do make almost $10 an hour there and wouldn't at another place. I am not going to stress over this. Thats why I am seeking the advice from all my DIS friends. Should I keep the same dates or find an alternate hotel for NYE?

So I spoke with my manager at Cracker Barrel again when I picked up my check on Thursday. She agreed with the compromise of me working the weekend before Christmas and said that the weekend after Christmas and NYE will be better for me to go. She liked the idea better when I said I would work Thanksgiving (I don't work Thursdays so I would have been off and my other job is closed that day) So I called Disney again and changed my dates to include NYE so I can be at MK for the fireworks. A friend from CB said that she will be in Orlando that week so we are going to meet up for dinner. She also told me she never drives home to Georgia on NYE or NY day and we were checking out on the 1st so I think we will say another night somewhere else. Also when I got home tonight I had an email from DVC with a pin in it!! It was for 48% off of deluxe villas but it is only up until October so I can't use it :sad2: I will try to update tomorrow :)

I am glad you are back on track.

The morning of New Years day is usually not that crowded in the parks. I guess everyone sleeps late from the night before. So if you are a early raiser it is great in the parks, in the mornings. Late afternoon the crowds wake up.

We are so not early risers lol. I have not had a NYE off since I can remember so I may be one of the ones that sleeps really late. :rotfl: or I may be a party pooper and go to bed after the new year.

I got it at Cracker Barrel. I love Elvis. I told the kids I wanted to go to Graceland next year.

I must be getting old because I do remember that "pong". My boss hooked it up on our computer. The one with the phone modem. How times have changed.

I remember playing it too. My son has an playstation 2 and a game with old arcade classics on it. Pong was on there but DS and I got into a paperboy showdown lol.

Great trip reportso farpopcorn:: and great pics. I'm so glad to see that I am not the only one with a 12 year old DD that looks like an adult (my DD is also taller than me). I see that your DD got alot of kids meals, did anyone either in or out of Disney question you about her age? Occasionally I will have someone make a face when I say DD is 12 , I mean really am I gonna lie about it. Yes, I know she is a big girl and looks like an adult but, she is only 12 her b-day isn't until September (I know I gave birth to all 9 and a half pounds of her , and most of those 9+ pounds was her head).
I also had to laugh when your DD wouldn't leave the room until hair and everything was done, mine does the same thing except she doesn't wear make-up (she thinks she looks awesome without it, gotta love a 12 year olds self esteem).
You are a brave soul for taking a 12 and 16 year old with you alone. I look forward to your next update.:)

I love the night too. We went at night and during the day but I love seeing all the signs at night. I can't wait to see it during Christmas.

We went to Planet Hollywood for the first time at Myrtle beach this year. My kids had burgers but I tried salmon. I think you're best to stick with the burgers.

There isn't a time I don't like downtown disney-night, day, it's all good. I'm not crazy about the bus system. They always combine it with a water park and it seems it takes forever. I loved taking the boats from Port Orleans.

OK more trip drama :lmao: I called all day trying to find out if I could get free dining during the time I am there if I get there on the 17th. The system was down all day. The first CM that I talked to said I would get FD the entire time. The CM I talked to after work said it would be only for the 17th. I looked online at about 9:45 and the system was up so I put in my dates for the FD and it came up for the entire time so I called Disney and spoke to another CM who stated that I could get it for the entire trip. I informed her that I wanted to change my dates. She did talk me into upgrading from QSDD to regular. I am saving $500 for the trip now. I was going to leave Disney property and stay at the Ramada for 2 days at about $250 and now I just added the days to my package. Now I just have to convince my boss at Cracker Barrel that I have to get the weekend off before Christmas :scared1: But technically I am saving $750 so I need to do this. OK off to update now :)

So when we last left you we had set another wake up call for 7 am. Well we almost made it out the door by 8:30 but again DD had to look perfect before she left. We were going to Epcot today. I was excited because I have wanted to go to Epcot since I was in middle school. We get to the bus stop at 9:23

We then head to the rides. DS and DD wanted to ride Spaceship Earth and I refused. I thought it was the one where you were in a tight closed space. I got their KTTW and said I would go get fast passes for Test Trac.

When I got there I get the FP and notice there is a single rider line with a 15 minute wait. The line my kids were in was 30 minutes so I got in the line. It was awesome. I was glad I had a FP to do it again. But the bad thing was that somewhere between getting the FP and the line my bladder kicked me and said "hey lets go to the bathroom soon" I was not about to get out of line so I ignored it lol. Well when we got to briefing and they said lets add some rough road I was like oh no! Well needless to say I made it through the trip dry :lmao::rotfl2: I had to take this picture since I am a child of the 80's and think of Bon Jovi every time I see this sign.

I get off the ride and my kids are in the single rider lane so I waited for them and got there Photo pass pictures. We then all ride as a family in the same car. When we go to save our photo pass picture it was gone. They tried to retrieve it but it was lost forever :sad1: DS had a ball looking at all the cars.

So when we last left you we had found a new favorite ride at Epcot with Test Trac. My dear darling DS then comes out of no where and says "mom lets go ride Mission Space next" OK now my son has lived with me for 16 years and knows that I am scared to death of small places. I tried to fight it at first. I said "why should I face my fears when you won't even ride Haunted Mansion" I made excuse after excuse until I finally gave in. I figured if I face my fears then maybe DS will too. For some reason I faced a lot of fears this trip :cool1: So I go to the door and who is our trainer (i think that was what he was) but Lt. Dan! I love Gary Sinise. OK now they have two sides as some of you may know. The green side for chickens like me and the orange side for the brave. So which side did we do? DS made me go on the orange side :scared1: OMG it made my claustrophobia kick into high gear. It made my teeth hurt with some of the sensations. Oh and remember those blisters on my poor feet? Yep those hurt too. It was AWESOME though. I am glad I did it. BUT after it was over I saw those barf bags in the ride and I was like OK thank goodness I didn't need that lol. So in the end I am glad I did it but will I do it again? Probably not. If I do I will choose the green side. DD said she was not riding again because she almost had to use those bags...YUCK! I was way to scared to take pictures before the ride. But I got these after.

After this I wanted to go get fast passes for Soarin. We left MS and went to the land. But first the kids wanted something to drink and I had just the place to treat them to it :rotfl2:

So after this we got our FP for Soarin. The FP return time was after 5. It was time to go to our ADR in the WS. This is the one ADR that I did not mess with the whole time I was planning my trip. But first along the way we ran into Max.

I was so excited to get here. I had been drooling over the Cheddar Cheese soup for months. Notice the clear blue sky in the pictures. Anyway we got there at 1:36 PM. We waited and were treated to trivia about Canada. We were seated about 1:55. I looked at my menu and it was a dinner menu. Our waitress was Lauren and I called her over and she said that they had over booked and were going with dinner only. Now I had printed menus off of Allears and my kids wanted the prime rib sandwich. Lauren said that the kitchen could make burgers but that was it. I wanted the soup and creme brulee so I got that and the kids got cheeseburgers. I figured that I would not spend over $40 here.

Now I had heard so much about the soup and the bread that I had such high expectations. I thought the soup was OK and I liked the sourdough bread better than the pretzel bread. The kids said their burgers were OK. So for dessert I ordered the Maple Creme Brulee and DD said she wanted the Chocolate Moose. The Creme Brulee was really good and is what saved the meal for me.

So all in all I spent $60 on soup and 2 burgers and 2 desserts. I don't think what I had was worth what we spent there. I was very disappointed in the meal and it will not be on my must do list. I thought about trying it again on the DDP when we go in December but my wise Disney tutor told me that there are too many good restaurants in the WS to go to one that I didn't like.

Thanks. I wanted all of DIS to see the yummy pictures of the food so if it wasn't good it was retaken. We had our ups and downs on the trip but for the most part it was great.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy le cellier as much as you thought you would. I've only been there for dinner and have always been on the dinning plan so I never really looked at the prices. I'm sure I would feel differently if I was paying out of pocket.

Yes, there are lots more restaurants for you to enjoy. Hopefully you find one that exceeds your expectations.

I may give it another chance one day...I think I will try Coral Reef for my son's birthday dinner. I swore after this trip I would never go again without the dining plan.

So when we last left you we had just finished lunch in Canada. We were off to tour around the world. I wanted to tour each country but what it turned into being is a search for the elusive Germany and I knew my favorite princess was in Morocco which is Jasmine.

We left Le Cellier and I wanted to see the movie O Canada that the hosts at Le Cellier referenced when doing the trivia. Walking to the movie we saw this

So we head back to the land. We still had FP for Soarin. We rode a ride that I can't remember the name of but it was where you were in a boat in their greenhouse. I want to say the Circle of Life but I can't remember. We rode Nemo and then went to Turtle Talk

I waited patiently to get a picture of my kids in the shark mouth. When the family was finally done I started to step forward and this very rude family came out of no where and jumped in front of me. I got so mad that I just left. DS said he would say something to the family but by then I was so mad I didn't go back. Kinda put a damper on the Disney magic when someone is rude like that.

Next we finally went to use our FP for Soarin

This was the longest FP line we had been in the whole week. I think it was about 20 or 30 minutes. But while in line we had a Dis meet with the family in front of us. I noticed a lime green mickey on their bag and to my kids horror asked what their screen name was. After 3 months I think it was dad2twins or something like that. I was so excited that I finally saw someone off the Dis that I didn't write his name down. Now Soarin was a ride that I was nervous about because I am deathly afraid of heights. But hey why not concur another fear. I love this ride and can't wait to do it again.

After the ride I was hungry it was about 9:45 and it had been 7 hours since lunch. I had planned on getting a rotisserie pork chop at Sunshine Seasons but that part was closed so I got a Turkey sandwich and DD got a kids mac and cheese. It was delicious.

We missed Illuminations while waiting for Soarin. After we ate we were leaving the park when I decided to ride Spaceship Earth. I laughed when I saw what it was after skipping it that morning.

Today we were going to DHS for the first time. I wanted to try the RNR and Toy Story mania. My daughter wanted to go on ToT and I was having no part of it. I set the wake up call for 7 am. Did we make it to the bus by 8? Of course not that would be normal. We got to the bus stop at 10:00 am.

When we were walking into the park something :wizard: happened. Now remember when I gave away the reentry passes for Primeval Whirl? When we were walking into DHS this lady came up to us and asked if we were going to ride RNR. We said yes and she gave us a piece of paper that was a reentry for RNR. I looked at my daughter and said "see I told you that Disney magic happens"

We get to the RNR and the reentry pass had the lady's name on it so I had been coaching my kids of their new last name the whole way there :rotfl2: I give it to the CM ready to tell him the new name. The CM just waved us through and didn't say a word. We in line and I was snapping away. This is one of my favorite lines to wait in. I am a child of the 80's and love hair bands. I love Areosmith and the video was awesome.

We get on the ride and it was so much fun. I think it is my new favorite ride in all of the parks. We get FP for it and get in the regular line to ride it again. It was a 20 minute wait time. We head off to find something else to do and run into High School Musical.

Ok when we last left you we were on the way to TSM at 11:15 am. I went over there expecting to get a fast pass since the FP gods had been with us all week so far. Well I was WRONG!!! All the FP machines were covered. I should have listened to the my friends on DIS. I took a lot of pictures here.

This was not as bad as I saw it later that night when the wait was 110 minutes. I can handle 50 minutes but 110 minutes is just not worth it to me.

I loved the ride it was worth the 50 minute wait. I got beat by DD AGAIN!! She did not let me forget that she beat me at Buzz twice and TSM. After the ride I saw that Woody and Buzz were across the way. I had to get their picture with the kids.

I was not to happy giving up my Teppan Edo for Le Cellier but DS requested to eat at Le Cellier and it is his birthday trip so he got what he wanted. I have to choose between Ohana's Lilo and Stitch breakfast and Crystal Palace for lunch. I had one TS left over due to my choice of House of Blues not being on DDP. Any suggestions on which one to keep? My must do list is as follows: LC for son, Sci fi, Liberty Tree Tavern and HOB.

I will be back this weekend to update my TR. I have to get it done before the next one starts :lmao:

I'm a breakfast lover and I really enjoyed the pineapple bread as well as the breakfast juice blend (likiliki or something like that) at O'hana. So that would be my vote. But then again, I loved le cellier and you didn't so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I am going to go back to LC with an open mind. I will be on the DDP so I can get anything. Thanks for the input :)

Actually you just answered a question for me without realizing it. My next trip Dh and I were trying to budget as much as possible and he thought we could do without the dinning plan. You've just reminded me how nice it is not to worry about the cost of your food when you're on the plan. Knowing how cost conscious my husband is being on the DDP is so much more relaxing that I think I will call up my TA and make the switch. I'm sure the piece of mind will be worth it. So thanks for the reminder!

We had a 2:00 ADR for Sci Fi and I wanted to find it so we didn't spend a lot of time in OMD. We got to Sci Fi about 1:35 and checked in. We were seated by 1:45. I was worried that since we were a party of 3 we would not get a car. I was informed by the hostess that as long as we had an ADR we would. I only took one picture of the food since we all had bacon cheeseburgers but I had a magical star cocktail. I can say I liked this a lot. But again for $10 a pop I got only one.

I was getting tired of all the rain. We had been there 6 days and that was all we saw most of the time. I think that is why I gave in. I give you a hint on the fear. DD and I thought it was awesome at night :)

So when we last left you it was raining again and we decided to take a midday break. We went back to Pop and the kids went swimming. I tried not to with all my will power. I mean in two days I would be at the Holiday Inn for a week and would have free Internet. I couldn't resist the lure of that little bag hanging on the coat rack. I spent $10 on the Internet. I am so weak. I sat there for 2 hours :surfweb:. I looked at my email from work (I know I was on vacation so bad girl lol) , I read disboards, i shopped. I had a good ole time at $5 an hour :lmao: At about 6 I went to the end of the balcony and yelled at the kids it was time to go. I told the kids I was absolutely not going to ride the TOT so not to even ask. We got back to the park about 6:30. I don't have lots of pics for this part. I wanted to go on the great movie ride but there was too long of a wait since I wanted to go to the last showing of this:

We almost didn't make it in but we got the last three seats they had together :banana: It turned out to be the finale of all the shows that day. I voted for a guy that I thought was awesome. He didn't win. There was a lady that was in a leg brace that sang "midnight train to GA" (I think) and she was really good. I can't wait to go see this next time.

Next we went and used our fast passes for RNR. I can not get enough of that ride. It is one of my favorite rides at Disney next up is another one of my favorites. Now DD has been saying all day she wanted to ride TOT. I had been saying all trip that I was not riding it at all. Well DS was being his usual self and refused to ride it. DD was getting mad at him because she didn't want to ride alone. So what is a mom to do? I took my terrified of heights and enclosed places and got myself in line for the scary ride. :scared1: OMG it was so fun!!! It was dark by the time we got to the ride so when we got to the top it was beautiful with all the lights of the night. I wanted to ride again but the line was way to long. I told DD we had to ride it again the next day when we came back. I was getting irritated at DS because he was not riding many rides. But I understand fears. I overcame a few this trip so I was not going to force him on a ride.

Great pictures from 50's Prime Time. I love going there with my nieces and nephews. They love it when someone gets in trouble, as long as it is not them. My brother-in-law had to stand in the corner last time because he continued to use his i-phone at the table after several warnings. They loved it.

I really think I am going to make another ADR there for the December trip. I loved the food. But next time I won't spend so much :rotfl2:

I liked this one. I was mad because I still had not seen Ariel in person. I have found every character that I wanted to see except her. I was told after this show that she is in Magic Kingdom. Its a good thing that our last day was scheduled at MK.

After this I went to do laundry again. It was the theme of the week. The kids swam. I had to pack after that because after the Magic Kingdom the next day we would be going to the Holiday Inn Sunspree.

When we last left you we had discovered fireworks in the distance. We were doing last minute packing to leave.

We got up early and packed the rest of the room up. After packing the car we got to the gates of the Magic Kingdom at 10:52 am

My plan was to stay in MK until midnight. It was extra magic hours and I wanted to take advantage of them. Lets see how long we will last. After parking we rode the tram and got in the park about 11:20. Of course the first words out of DD and DS mouth were they wanted food. Now all of these table services had me way over the food budget and we still had a week and a half left in Florida so I wanted to go somewhere cheap. When we got in this parade was going on. DD got to see her favorite again.

So we decided on eating at Casey's. I wanted some corn dog nuggets.

I thought the food was delicious here. I loved the corn dog nuggets. So did my kids lol they wouldn't keep their hands out of my food when they had their own. I also got chili. I asked for crackers for it and the CM said they did not have any because the chili is for the hot dogs usually. Then why sell it separately. But it was good without it and I plan on returning to here in December.

After lunch I wanted to go to Fantasy Land. I didn't get to ride anything when we were there during EMH in FL since we were taking pictures of all the characters. We got to the castle and this was going on. Man I wish Goofy was my favorite because DD was seeing him everywhere. I saw Jasmine once and was still hunting down Ariel.

OK It was beginning to rain again. I wanted to see Ariel and I found her spot. There was a 45 minute wait to see here. I was not going anywhere even if it poured. We had ponchos and Ariel had an indoor spot so we were set. I had to tune out all the whining from DS who did not feel like waiting to see another character. I told him he could go out into FL and find something else to do. Did he? No he just stayed and whined about the wait.

So now my princess hunt was over. I have now seen all that I wanted to see (until next trip :lmao:) Next we went off to IASW. I have never been on this ride. I think its cute.

I took a lot more pictures in there. I think I embarrassed DD and DS to death. Next we went to ride Winnie the Pooh. While in line Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore were across the way. I told DS to go see them but he said he had already seen them twice and that was enough for now.

Next we rode this. I love this ride. This is where we had our first rude encounter of the day. We were the first ones in the gate and when we were about to get into a cup this family jumped in front of us. So we had to wait for the next ride. DS was not going to ride this but jumped in at the last minute.
