Can anyone recommend a good comfortable pair of flip flops which dont have the toe strap in the middle. I find those very uncomfortable and never buy those kind.

I'm the same way...hate the thing between your toes! Ouch! Stems from childhood trauma!
I prefer sandals with velcro straps. I just bought a pair of Dr. Scholl's and LOVE THEM!!!! Meant for walking and so far, so good!
But if you aren't into that style (velcro straps) have you looked at the Crocs that are more like slides?

I will check them out. I used to wear them as a teen, so not sure if the style changed or not since then.

Target sells flip-flops on which the toe strap is made of fabric rather than plastic. Much more comfortable than the ones with hard plastic toe straps.

Try the ones that have the fabric or ribbon thong - LL Bean makes nice ones. The thong on the Crocs Athens is pretty substantial, you may need to work up to it.
I just bought a pair of Crocs Adara, which does not have the thong, and I really like them! They are light and easy to wear, like flip flops, but no thong. Try them out!

Teva Kenas are pretty comfy. They have a Teva Mush sole but no strap in the toes.

I love my Crocs Adera's. The strap is a criss cross over the top of your foot.
Nothing in the toes.

Love love love my Reef Sandles. They are a fabric thong but so comfortable.
I wore them 5 days walking in disney and my feet were fine, DH wore running shoes and his feet were killing him
They are not cheap $55CDN but worth it!
have my eyes on a new pair! :goodvibes

I love my Croc cleos very comfortable, I can't do the thong type either. The cleos are like the adaras but have two straps that go across instead of cris crossing. I wore them on my last trip to disney all week and they were very comfortable. Linda :)
