I was reading the restaurant info on here but I think it might be quite out of date because the official disney website doesnt say anything about the good morning fantasyland breakfast.
Does the Good morning fantasyland breakfast still exist in the Disneyland Park or is it replaced with the breakfast in Cafe Mickey?
sorry for new thread but couldnt see anything about this.
Thanks

You have to ask when you check in your hotel. It doesn't always run & when it does gets booked up quickly. It is only available for guest staying in Santa Fe, Cheyenne, Sequoia Lodge & possibly the Newport Bay

It is available, as Nikki says, if you are staying at the Santa Fe, Cheyenne, Sequoia Lodge, and Newport Bay Club hotels. You can't book it in advance anymore (you used to be able to do this) you have to book it when you check in at your hotel reception now, and its subject to availability.

thanks, i am staying at newport bay club so will check with them. Im not desperate for this but it sounded quite nice to get straight to the park early. its strange that they dont advertise it on their website.

You can get to the parks early with Extra Magic Hours if its on when you are staying. You get in the parks 2 hours before non on site guests. I think this is one of the reasons GMFB is hit & miss, they did try to phase it out for a while last year but it helps ease the crowds at the hotels.

We were able to get it in April, it was very good indeed. Lovely to get uncrowded pictures of the castle. The food was lovely too!
We could only get it for the fourth day of our stay, it was booked up until then, but that was fine for us. I am sure you will enjoy it!

If you do get a GMF breakfast its worth trying to get a later one (about 9.30) so you can do an hour or so of EMH when its quietest then have your breakfast when its a bit busier. You will then be finished just in time for rope drop to other lands

thats a good idea. yes i suppose there is no point in those magic hours if we are eating through it! although not sure if daughter can last til then, she likes her brekkie.
Im not absolutely sure whether to do it or not, if we get offered it I will probably decide at that point. Actually i forgot to ask, Is there an extra fee?
There is no extra fee for the GMFB. We will also be staying at the NBC but have decided against it. Instead we are planning to have an early breakfast at the hotel and then leave right away to catch EMH. Last time I found the breakfast choice at SL much better than what was available at GMFB, but that was 3 years ago, so might have changed.:confused3

I dont like eating first thing so for me a later breakfast is better and it worked up an appetite doing some rides first.
If you are offered it and arent sure you are probably better to take it and then change your mind after as its easier to cancel and get a slot at the hotel than try to get one for GMF

im like smallworld, prefer a later breakfast.... also - find that having a later breakfast and folling up can last us til 2/3pm so we can then have a meal then and be ready for the parade, and then just have a snack for tea!! also made the holiday cheaper ;)
if u dont dally over breakfast, as long as ur down for 7.15am u can get out n into the park for opening!!!
depends which is more attractive - early start and early breakfast, or a few more 'shut eye minutes' and a later breakfast!!

We did the GMFB in March and wouldn't really worry about doing it again. The breakfast in the SL was much nicer and in nicer surroundings.
We're always early risers though, so tend to have a 7am breakfast and in the park for 8. We get to make the most of the EMH and then head for a coffee at 10 when the majority of the crowds are coming in.
