Headed out with my new 24-70mm 2.8 to see it if will be a keeper for me. I still am gulping hard over spending more for that lens than I did for my first car, and the MasterCard bill hasn't even come yet...
Plan to head to the city market, and then to a farm.

goodluck with that idea, unless you have a bad copy, you are going to love it..
I do 95% of my shooting with 2 lenses, my 28-75 2.8 and my 80-200 2.8,
my other lenses just wait patiently in my bag hoping to see some action.

I'm sorry to say that you will be stuck with the MasterCard bill. Because once you start playing, you will be able to justify every single cent with every single click.
Enjoy!

I'd never been there before. What a great place. I'm going to be a regular there from now one.
Heading to Carriage Hill tomorrow. If you can get your laundry done and Kevin off in the morning, let me know if you want to go.

I will tell you what I tell my wife when she asked if she can spend on something like this.
"It's only money, I'll make more"

I laughed when I read this. I'll have to tell that to DH when he sees the stuff I want for a camera I don't even have yet!

Wish I could, but I can't. It is suprisingly complicated getting one 14-year-old boy packed for a week of wrestling camp...and he doesn't leave until 5:15, so there's still so much to do.
And I love Carriage Hill. My in-laws used to live near there and when the boys where little my MIL and I would push the stroller and point at the animals. :)
