My debit card has a program called Mega Rewards. I get points for every dollar I spend using my debit as a charge card. I can exchange these points for merchandise. I use my card to pay most of my bills and instead of checks when making purchases. These points have added up fast. I have enough points now for 2 5day hopper plus passes. Now I am going to trade these toward an AP and try to get ressies atAKL in August at the AP rate. We now are talking about a Disney trip next spring so our tickets will be all taken care of. I have always told my husband something good would come from all the money I spend. DebM:bounce:

My bank is First Federal of Michigan. They are a division of Charter One Bank. Charter one has a web site.

I just signed up for Mega Rewards. (don't ask me what took so long). I am curious, how long have you been doing Mega Rewards? Also how do you pay your bills using your debit card. Any pointers that you can share I would be grateful for. Thanks

I think I have been signed up fo 2 years or whenever it started. When I pay my bills I just call the number on the bill and say I want to pay by credit card. I do this with cable gas and electric, am going to try with car payments next. i also used my debit to book vacations. I am not a credit person, if I don't have the money we don't get it. i am a shopper extrordinaire, i do love to spend the money. I buy all my groceries with the card, pay for gas etc. It took 25000 points for each ticket.

I tried to pay my car payment with the on-line payments. It was the only bill I had problems with. The only people who were not equipted to take on line payments were another bank. They wouldn't accept my payment without the coupon. It was a real pain and the customer service people at the bank couldn't have been ruder. This was just my experience. Now if I could just pay my mortage with my debit card.
