Bolt--Purebred or Mut??

I was watching Bolt (such a cute movie) the other day and I couldn't seem to figure out what kind of dog Bolt is. Does anyone know? :confused3

I believe Bolt is based off the American White Shepherd... many sites say he is, but none have any references directly linking to Disney.

I think they made him an "everydog" on purpose. That way more people identify with him.

I read somewhere that the official Disney word was "mixed breed." He sure does look like a white shephard, but a mini version. I love the fact that he was adopted from a shelter.
