walkway to DTD

We will be staying at OKW in July, is it walkable to Downtown Disney from OKW ? If so is there a walkway like the one from BW to MGM ?

If you prefer not to walk, you can always take the boat to DD. They run from 9:00am until 10 PM(Not exactly sure on the AM)

We just returned from OKW last Friday. My daughter and I walked several times from OKW to DTD. It was quite hot, in the 90's, but we were not bothered by bugs and felt it was a pleasant walk. We would recommend it.

Does the walkway begin behind the quiet pool near Buildings 55 and 56? I took a nice long walk one night after returning from the parks (whattamynutz?) and saw the sign. The next day, I tried to see how long it was while riding the boat and I was a bit intimidated. ;) I walk three miles per day - this looked longer but my sense of distance isn't much better than my sense of direction.

The OKW/DD walkway is a nice option for some exercise and relaxation.

We've done it a few times--more than a short stroll--would call it a fairly long walk. And we would never do it after dark--
And if you go to DD and do any shopping, don't forget you'll be carrying all those packages back--.

We found it only took us about 12 minutes from the end of the culdesac to the Cirque parking lot. I certainly would not call it a LONG walk. You walk longer than that just getting from Future World to World Showcase in Epcot!!
