Hi all,
Been lurking since our May 2001 cruise on the Wonder. Now we are booking the Western 7 day on the Magic for Dec 7th and I am wondering how the weather is during that time? I know the Western is typically more mild than the Eastern...hoping that is still true!:)

I'm not going to be too much help as I have never cruised in Dec. But...I have searched weather in Yahoo and have been able to find the "average" temps when we did the eastern.

I have sailed twice in December and will be going
again Dec. 19th. I have been very lucky and have
had great weather both times and will hope for
a third. I like cruising in December, Christmas on
the ship is the best.

We cruised last Dec. 8th and are on the Dec 7th cruise you mentioned comming up. The weather was great last year. The ship is so pretty with the decorations, December is my favorite time to go!

December is a great time to go!!! It's the dry season in the Caribbean region. It still rains rarely; and, when it does, it's usually over in a quick spell and typically happens overnight. So, you should have nothing to worry about. If it weren't for our kids, we'd definitely select early Dec.

We picked early May because we found the water temperature in Dec. may be a bit chilly for toddlers. We're hoping early May (before the rain season begins) will mean warmer water...
