I'm waiting for the Oct 12 flight from MCO to BUF to come down, but it's only been going up. Even Southwest has the lowest at $129, which is still a bit high.

Do you think it's still going to come down or should I bite now?

That's a holiday Monday for both us and Americans (it's their Columbus Day). I suspect that the flights might not be cheap that day.

Sorry to say, but I think you may have missed out on the lowest that that particular fare would have gone. In mid May, that Monday was at $59pp! We ended up booking the Monday prior though, Oct 5th, at $59pp. :goodvibes
Like cdnmickeylover said, since that is Columbus Day, I dont know if they will drop the price again but you never know! Just keep an eye out for DING's throughout the summer! :thumbsup2

Have you checked AirTran??? Their fares have been lower than SW for a while now. I'm also dancing around those same dates.

We booked our flights on May 15th...

$660 USD for all 4 of us, return (and direct) flying AirTran and JetBlue - that even includes pre-assigned seats. With JetBlue we even opted for the seats with more leg room (we're a tall family). So we did well in terms of pricing, even though we're using two different charters.

Keep checking often....if not Airtran, SW should have a DING or another "summer sale".

Will do. I noticed you said BUF - MCO and I was really looking at MCO -BUF for Oct 12th. I was able to get the departing flight at $59 thru SW, it`s just the coming back that`s still kinda high.

 I went back and looked at Airtrans website and I think I did price BUF - MCO and not the other way around :x SORRY!!!! So, you didnt miss any fare deals!!! Fear not though, still plenty of time to drop:thumbsup2
We are in the same situation for Oct 18, but leaving from Fort Lauderdale back to BUF.

Sunday, October 18th (AIRTRAN)
Non-Stop, pre-selected seats.
Depart (BUF): 12:12PM
Arrive (MCO): 2:51PM
$302.40 for the 4 of us, all inclusive.

Wednesday, October 28th (JETBLUE)
Non-Stop, pre-selected seats, extra leg room seats.
Depart (MCO): 4:14PM
Arrive (BUF): 6:49PM
$358.40 for the 4 of us, all inclusive.

Would would have loved to fly JetBlue to MCO, but their only direct flight was at 7AM - and it was more expensive.

In the end we're happy with our prices! :thumbsup2
