Do I need to worry about the name change thing?
I will have my original Birth certificate & license w/maiden name, so do I really need to worry about it? I really won't change my name until we get back from the honeymoon.
will I have any problems boarding?? Should I bring the marriage license??

Since the decision to change your name or not when you get married is completely up to you, it doesn't matter that you haven't changed your license, passport, etc, to your new name.

Make it under your maiden name...the name on all your present documents. Worry about it after the trip!

I just made my reservation under my maiden name and used my birth certificate. It wasn't a problem at all.
Have lots of fun, you'll love it! I cried when we were getting off and made my husband promise we'd be back. We went on the inuagural western for that promise. then we made reservations for 9/2003 while on board. It's a good trick, try it:p
Have a magical honeymoon!

Having the birth certificate in your maiden name wouldn't be a problem because they expect women's last names to change... they just check to make sure the birthdate matches the birthdate on your photo ID. But I think they would expect the last name on the photo ID to match the last name of the reservation. Unless you plan on getting a new driver's license with your married name prior to the cruise, it might be a better idea to make the reservation in your maiden name.

I was told by Disney to put all of the reservation information in my maiden name. I was kinda disappointed because I was excited to use my husband's last name but I understood why because of the identification issues. Also be sure to fill out your own customs form since you will have a different last name than the other person in your cabin. We called guest services and they said that we would each have to fill out our own since we were not considered to be in the same family by US Customs since we had different last names. Just a little FYI :D

Also make sure they know it is your honeymoon because they will give you some little extras to make it even more special :D

We are going on the 9/20/03 cruise. We did the Western on 5/11 this year and haven't done the Eastern yet. Have a wonderful honeymoon. Go to Captain Marvin's in Grand Cayman and go swimming with the sting rays. It is amazing!

I used my maiden name when I made our reservations and all the invites, etc. to the room said Mr and Mrs. with MY MAIDEN NAME - It was really quite funny!
