Hi there! Welcome to my first ever PTR! Let me introduce myself, I'm Brea, a 30 yr old SAHM who loves Disney! My DH  is currently deployed and we are *anxiously* awaiting his R&R in August. :thumbsup2

We decided for R&R that we would take advantage of all the wonderful military discounts and head to WDW for an entire week!

Here is the cast..

Me, DH, DS (4), DD (19 months)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/008-1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/jason-1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/006-1.jpg

DS is slightly Cars *Lightning McQueen* obsessed, and DD is just starting to learn her Disney Princesses! princess:

This has been quite the adventure, planning our WDW trip by myself. DH has really no preference so I get to decide everything! I haven't been to WDW for 25 years and SOOOO much has changed.. it's a little overwhelming.
Luckily, I have my BFF :flower3: to help me out (she is DisneyLand obsessed) and everyone on this board! :)

Originally, we were going to stay at AKL. I called this past weekend to change to WL!! I think that will be more appropriate for my family, and I am really looking forward to that ferry to MK! :yay:

Our tentative (I say tentative because the military has been known to change it's mind as it pleases ;) ) are August 1 - 8.

Here's a rundown of our tentative itinerary.

8-1 - DD
8-2 - HS
8-3 - MK
8-4 - AK
8-5 - MK
8-6 - Epcot
8-7 - Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch

If ANYone has any tips, ideas, suggestions that you can give me, please do! I let them know when I made our resort reservations that we will be celebrating DH's R&R, and his promotion as well. Does anyone know what special things they can possibly do?

Anyway, thanks for reading! Much more to come later!

Hi Brea! What a fun trip it looks like you are planning! You will absolutely love Wilderness Lodge. It's probably the one I recommend the most! :) Riding the ferry over to MK is a lot of fun! You have a beautiful family, and I think you are all going to have a great time!

If your DS is a huge Cars fan, you should make sure to take a little pit stop over by the Backlot Tour and he can "meet" Lightening McQueen and Mater, and you can take pics. They do this at different times during the day, so if you grab a "Times Guide" as you walk into the park (right by the maps), it should list what times they will be there. :)

Have you thought about ordering a cake to celebrate seeing DH, and his promotion? There is an entire thread about ordering cakes at WDW to be served at a certain meal. Sometimes they can be a little $$$:scared1: but sometimes they are not so bad. The thread is over on the restaurant board, I think.

Something else that is fun to do is watch the Floating Electrical Pageant from the little beach behind Wilderness Lodge on Seven Seas Lagoon. Right now, they play it nightly around 9pm - might not be do-able since you have little ones, but its fun, and since it's evening, it is a little cooler. :)

Whew....sorry I just wrote a novel. I am subbing, and I can't wait to read more about your plans!

Wow thanks!!
We definitely will have to meet Lightning. I told DS that he is there and his eyes almost popped out of his head! :rotfl: He is SO excited.

I have thought about getting a cake. I saw the thread about cakes in the Restaurant section, but I haven't clicked it yet lol... I am a little worried about seeing those prices!

I am really hoping we get to do some things in the evening, like the Electrical Pageant! I think with a nap during the day & plenty of breaks *hopefully* we can get back out in the evening when it's cooler.

Thanks so much for subbing!

After reading ArmyWife3-4's PTR, I also decided to make Mickey Mouse rice krispie treats to send to my DH, to get him in the wonderful Disney spirit.
I searched the mall high and low yesterday and could not find a cookie cutter!! Finally I looked at disneyshopping.com last night and found one for $4.95!
Now I am just waiting for them to ship so I can get DH's Disney / Birthday care package out to him. :woohoo:
He is also *very* excited to be headed to WDW (his first trip ever!) but don't think he will admit that to many people :rotfl:

I am drawing a blank on what else to send him Disney-related.. it has to be small and able to make it all the way to Afghanistan!

Suggestions are welcome!!

Next up.. restaurant itinerary :thumbsup2

I am also heading for Disney in August, I have Disney fever since the first time I went in 2003, and now, I can't get enough of Disney.

Really? :woohoo:

I am a little concerned about the heat & crowds of August.. but not concerned enough to let that stop us from going. :D

I have not made ADR's yet!!! I am sure this is a Disney Crime.. being 58 days out with no ADR's. What am I waiting on? Well, I am still a little scared that DH's leave time will be changed and then I will be stuck cancelling & re-scheduling ADR's.. :confused3

Anyway, here is my *wish* list.. maybe I should go ahead & call today to see if I can still get in??

T Rex
Toy Story Pizza Planet
Pinnochio Village Haus
Breakfast with Donald at Tusker House
Tony's Town Square
Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch
Whispering Canyon
Coral Reef

I know most of those are no ADR's, but we aren't on the Dining Plan so we need to eat cheap most days.
We will have a fridge in our room, so I think that will help out with breakfast and some snacks, although I'm not sure how big it is?

I do have a few more CS restaurants on my wish list, but these are the *most* important ones to me..

Is there any hope I can still get in Coral Reef??

OH... my Mickey Mouse cookie cutters shipped today!!! I can't wait to get those Rice Krispie Mickey treats to DH!!

Whispering Canyon is a riot - y'all should make sure and ask for some ketchup.

If you try for an ADR at Coral Reef for an off time, you shouldn't have trouble getting it. You'll also have a better chance of sitting by the tank to see everything. :)

All of your ADRs look really good. :)
May I make a suggestion just incase you don't happen to get one and need a back up? Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. My family loves this place. It's a character meal with the characters from Winnie the Pooh, but what we love about it so much is to make an ADR around 10:30, 10:45 or so. About this time (especially in August) you will have already spent some time in the park and you'll be hot and ready to sit down. So you can go in and cool off and have a bit to eat. I think about 11 is the time they will be switching the breakfast buffet over to the lunch buffet, so you can get a little smattering of both meals.

Just a suggestion, it's a meal my family eats at every time we are there. (And the youngest in my fam is 17! We still get a kick out of the characters.)

I believe the refrigerator that you will have is about the size of a refrigerator you might see in a college dorm room. Pretty small, but it will fit milk, juice, waterbottles, cold cuts, fruit and veggie snacks. It works for what it is.

I am going to go check out that Mickey cookie-cutter! My favorite things to eat at WDW are the Mickey rice-krispies! :woohoo:

I forgot to make ADR's for Whispering Canyon when I JUST called!! :confused3 I did, however get my ADR's for Coral Reef, Bf with Donald & BF with Lilo & Stitch! :dance3:
I had to adjust my schedule just a bit (switch pool day & Epcot day) but that is FINE by me!!
The lady I spoke with mentioned something new they are starting late June.. about a Pirate party or something? I am going to have to see what that is, my DS would love it.

Now I am just trying to figure out how much to budget for food...

I can't figure out how to multi-quote?? Anyway.. CP would not fly with my DH he hates all Winnie the Pooh characters. :rolleyes1 Thanks for the suggestion though.

That is great about the fridge.. we'll definitely be having some snacks in the room!! popcorn::

You are going to have a great time on yoru trip. YOu ADR's look good. WCC is so fun.

If you are eating at COral Reef, I am not sure if they still do this but when we celebrated our 1st anniversary I set up with the manager ther eto have a customized menue made, with our pictures plus she set up the diver in the tank to hold a sign up that said Happy Anniversary to my DH. You may be able to do this still, not sure and it was free. I know there used to be a thread about it. If I can find it I will post it for you.

There is also the special wishes cruise too, if you can find someone to share it with its not as much money. I think there is a tread on the planning board.

3 times though the Twilight books! Wow, I am on New moon and I can't seem to get through it, I need to soon before the movie comes out!

Aw forget the Coral Reef menu idea. I just read they dont do it anymore. Thats too bad.

If you are crafty, on the design board some of the people will make you graphics that you can use on shirts bags..etc. They do it on thier own free will and get busy so I would request something now so you can have it before your trip.

I have made Tshirts, goodie bags and invites before.

At Wispering Canyon Cafe, my son asked for a spoon ha! ha!

And I asked for a refill of Diet Coke

I am also worried about the heat and crowd, never been during the summer, but I can't take out my son out of school anymore, he is secondary 1 this year... too risky now... So we've decided to try it out in August!

Oh, you can multi quote by clicking the button next to the "quote button" (the one with the quotation mark in it) in each person's post that you want to quote. Then once you have clicked the button in everyone's post, just hit post reply.

:goodvibes CP is just a family favorite of ours, it's not for everyone. But it is definitely nice to have an ADR around that time for a little break, and to cool off. :)

I am also a fellow Twilight fan! Did you see the movie? The trailer for New Moon just came out, and it looks good! :) I remember when Breaking Dawn came out - I had actually just finished reading the first three, and I went and bought it that night when it came out. The next day my best friend and her fiance and I were going whitewater rafting, but we had to drive like an hour to get to the river. We took my car because it was the biggest, but Lacy and I made Zach drive, so we could read Breaking Dawn!

Updated Itinerary

8-1 DD - ADR T-Rex 3:30 (not the time I wanted, but it was the best I could do)
8-2 HS - (eating cheap today, hopefully)
8-3 MK - going to the park early, leaving for ADR at WCC, nap in the room, and back to the park
8-4 AK Breakfast with Donald at the Tusker House
8-5 MK Dinner at Tony's Town Square
8-6 Epcot Dinner at Coral Reef
8-7 Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch

I used the new online reservation system for 3 of my ADR's. It's SO cool!! You can even add Celebrations to each ADR. :thumbsup2

Ok, we are down to 6 weeks to go. That seems like a long time now, but I think the time will fly by! Especially since I don't have ALL of the outfits for the kids picked out! I have to get busy on that!!
Wait, did I say 6 weeks?? That means I'll see DH in around 5 weeks?! :dance3: I feel like I have so much to get done between now & then!!

Gearing up for this week.. Hoping it FLIES by. DC have Bible School Mon - Fri. I have Zumba Mon, Tue, Thurs, Sat. I have one baby shower and one birthday party to attend. So hurry up last week of June & be over already!! Once July 1 hits... the 20-ish days countdown until I see DH is ON!!!! :cool1:

I do have some plans for when he arrives. The kids & I are wearing red, white & blue..and picking him up from the airport. We'll spend the night in Charleston, then drive home the next day to his parents' house.
We'll be having a surprise Welcome Home BBQ for him! :cheer2:

I'm not sure exactly what day this will be yet... but hoping around 27th of July.. Then we'll have a few days of rest, so DH can hang out & relax for a few days before we are off to Disney!!!

It's been a long time since I've updated! We survived the week of VBS, and thankfully we have yet another busy week ahead.
I have our two days at MK mapped out. Here's the plan..please someone tell me if you think this is too much for two days!

Arrive at MK for rope drop, head straight to Fantasyland. Ride Dumbo, Pooh, Peter Pan, IASW. High tail it over to Toon Town, do the Hall of Fame, Barnstormer, Mickey & Minnie's houses.. back to Fantasyland for

Carousel, Mad Tea Party.. Now.. we have lunch ADR's at WCC for 11:45. What time do we need to leave MK to get there on time???

Continuing.. Lunch at WCC, nap in the room, back to MK. Back to Fantasyland, Snow White's Scary Adventures (?), Mickey's Philharmagic.. then head to Tomorrowland... to see

Buzz Lightyear, Monster's Inc, Stitch's Great Escape, Speedway Transit Authority.

This is day 1 of MK. Is it too much? Not enough? I would really appreciate some input.
My plan is to continue day 2 of MK with the other side of the World...
Frontierland, Liberty Square, Adventureland..

:confused3

We bought our tickets the night before at SoG, so after activating them (and adding the water park feature to my ds' ticket) we are ready to go.. we get in line at the gate about 8:30am. Both dc need to go potty, so off we run to the restroom, back in line & the gate is OPEN! Off we go! :cool1: My dh is wondering why in the world all of these people are running? :lmao:

My plan is to RUN (well walk as quickly as we can) to Soarin'. I guess that was the plan of about half of the other people there too! It was like a stampede! We get there pretty quickly, get in line, dh & ds go first while I take the rider switch pass & sit with dd. We wait for maybe 20 minutes before we see them exiting the ride. Ds & I get quickly back in line..and he starts to cry. It scared him so bad he wouldn't ride again. So.. we walked straight through to the exit. The ONLY ride I was SUPER excited about.. and I didn't get to ride. I DID get a FP to come back at 12:30 so that was good!
We rode Living with the Land & then went to The Seas before our 11:55 lunch ADR's at Coral Reef.

DD isn't too sure about that boat ride!

Day 2 ~ DH & DS went to Blizzard Beach, so DD & I went to the outlets! It was way too hot for me to be in the mood to shop for fall clothes, so we weren't there for long. We went back to the room, had a very light lunch & got ready for Downtown Disney!
We decided to take the bus instead of driving our own vehicle. The kids loved that!

Day 3 ~ Hollywood Studios!! I LOVE this place! We made it to the park about 8:45, just in time for rope drop! My DH is wondering why all of these crazy people are running?! We walked very quickley to Toy Story Mania. DS is a little scared, since the day before he rode Soarin' and was terrified.
We stood in line for maybe 15 minutes and finally get up there, Zaylor sees what ride looks like & decides it might be ok. :thumbsup2 He rode with me, Briar rode with DH. We ALL loved it!! SO much fun we got a FP when we got off the ride!
Guess who we saw after we rode TSM?!

Next we went to The Little Mermaid.. this show was SO wonderful. I LOVEd how it looked like we were underwater!! We went straight to PlayHouse Disney after The Little Mermaid. That was a lot of fun for the kids, and nice & cool.
After lunch at Toy Story Pizza Planet (the pizza was pretty good!) we saw the Muppets 3D show, then we met these guys!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/129.jpg

My DS is pretty obsessed with Cars... and especially Lightning McQueen... but Lightning was revving his engine just a little too loud so DS wanted to stand by Mater! :lmao:

Soon it was time to use our FPs for TSM, so back we went. After riding again, we got to meet...

I do believe I am a castle picture junkie. I mean, how many pics can you take of the castle? A LOT, right?!

After we look at and walk through the castle, we headed STRAIGHT for Dumbo! This was probably DD's FAVorite ride! She cried when we had to get off of it.

Mickey & Minnie!! My DS went to Minnie first and kissed her on the cheek! DD quickly kissed Mickey on his nose!

This might possibly be our Christmas card this year.

After meeting Mickey & Minnie, DD and I go to Minnie's house while DH & DS ride Goofy's Barnstormer!

It's about 11am now so we ride the train to the main station and head back to the WL for our lunch ADR at WCC!
I didn't take any pics there, but I will say skillet meal was awesome. I am not a huge fan of BBQ, but those ribs were TDF! The baked beans were VERY yummy too!

After lunch we went back to the room for a quick nap. My kids are early to bed early to rise kind of people, and we wanted to watch the fireworks, so they needed a middle of the day rest. It worked out VERY well!

Next up.. the rest of our FIRST MK day!

TinyDancer

We wake up from our nap feeling great, so back to MK we go! First we went to the teacups, another favorite ride of my kids'!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/224.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/222.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/223.jpg

It's just starting to rain a little, so we ran over & got in line at It's a Small World. I just love this ride, and my kids do too! Several times through out the ride though, they made the announcement to remain in our boat if the ride stopped. It never did, so I guess everything was ok!

DS is just dying to go ride the 'little cars' so we did! DH stayed behind with DD.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/240.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/238.jpg

Funny story about these cars.. I know that they are on a track, but I still tried to steer. I say 'tried' because those things are hard to drive! Anyway, as we are riding along, banging into the rail, my DS says 'Mommy, why is it that you can drive a huge truck, but not this tiny car?' :rotfl:
:confused3

By now it's pouring the rain and we have no ponchos. Every day of our trip, I have told DH that we need to buy some. Did we? No. We just got soaked instead! It actually felt nice, after the 90+ degree weather. I am STILL happy, even in the rain.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/241.jpg

We headed over to TomorrowLand and stood in line for Buzz's Space Ranger Spin. DS was really looking forward to this one since he loved Toy Storia Mania! We rode, then got FPs to ride again!

Next we went in to Monster's Inc Laugh Floor. For anyone that hasn't done this, it is a MUST. SO funny!! We all loved it.

I don't have many more pics of the rest of the day, since it was raining and we were doing as many indoor attractions as we could. We did Buzz Space Ranger Spin again, then we went back to FantasyLand. I tried and tried to talk DS into Snow White's Scary Adventures, but he was not having it.
We rode Peter Pan's Flight (loved it!) and then The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (loved it too!).

By now, we have missed the parade. I was so sad.. but then we realized that we had an awesome viewing point for the fireworks. We were right beside of the Carousel. The CM said that they DO shoot off some smaller fireworks from the top of those buildings right there. WOW! They sure do!! My kids refused to come out of the safety of the stroller. They were NOT impressed by the fireworks AT ALL. Too loud they said.

I, of course, loved it.

Great TR! Beautiful family, you look like you had a fantastic time!

You are giving me hope for our first trip next month w/ our 4yo and 2yo. We are staying at the WL and I was worried that taking a break to go back during the day would take up a ton of time, but you seem to have done PLENTY and still work in the down time~!~

Oh lucky you! I would LOVE to go in September. Our first Magic Kingdom day was the only day we left the park and took a nap. It turned out to be the best day that we had. On the days that we didn't take a break, we were finished with the park and back to the hotel around 3 or 4pm. It was just too hot, and too much for our kids. The nap time worked WONDERS.

Great report - I love the pics from HS. Did ds really like the parade there?? I am trying to figure out how we can fit that in because I think my boys would really enjoy it.
Pics of your dd in Mickey's house are adorable!
We are also staying in WL next month! We are getting one of the bunk bed rooms - do you remember your room number?? I would love to have a specific room to put in our room request. Up until now we haven't been able to find specific info on where the bunk bed rooms are hidden.

Thanks! I loved how they both just passed out on the way out of the park too! ;) Now, carrying DD all the way back to the room was a little more difficult on my arms lol.

My DS didn't really know what to think of the parade. It seemed to me that the 6 year & up crowd REALLY were the ones that got into it! My DS is a little shy at first though.
We were in room 5149. The lodge is shaped in a huge U. If you can get a room facing outwards toward MK, you can probably see a lot more of the fire works than we could see. We could see the top half only, b/c the lodge blocked part of our view.

Animal Kingdom and ..... Breakfast with Donald at the Tusker House!!

We had to be up early for our 8 am breakfast with Donald! We decided to take the bus to AK, and we were running about 10 minutes late. Then my DS fell on the sidewalk and split his big toe open.. Luckily a nice lady came along and gave us some band aids, we get him all bandaged up and run toward the entrance. They let us right in and it was SO neat to be there walking around before the park was officially open. We get to the Tusker House (such a neat place!) and get our pic made..

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/271.jpg

My DS just thinks that this is the neatest thing! He LOVES that all of the characters are going to be coming to HIM! DD, on the other hand, is NOT happy at all. She is scared to death of the characters now. If she sees one coming towards her, she cries. We did get a couple of good pics, but with us being in a hurry that morning, I forgot the kids autograph books.

I do have to say that character meals are the way to go. I had two scheduled (Lilo & Stitch) but I had to cancel it because we were going to be leaving a day earlier than I had originally planned. NEXT time I'll schedule more character meals! I loved them!!
After eating, we rode Kilimanjaro Safaris. LOVED this. Next we walked on the Pangani Forest Trails..

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/298.jpg

We rode the Wildlife Express Train (didn't see any wildlife?!) to Rafiki's Planet Watch. DH was not into it so he stayed put with DD while DS and I walked around. WHILE DS and I were walking.. DH saw Pocahontas. I was SO disappointed because I really wanted to see her and I had the camera.
Anyway, here are the kids on the elephant. Funny thing happened, there was a group of people in front of us, and my son saw that they were trying to take a pic, so he squatted behind the elephant until they were done :lmao: Everyone was cracking up.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/308-1.jpg

Then we walked a bit, and went to DinoLand. It was getting to be unbearably hot, and we couldn't really find anything that both kids were big enough to ride. Everyone was tired, so after a few pics in front of The Tree of Life (photopass) we left to go back to WL to swim!

Tomorrow.. our last MK day. We are going to Frontierland, Adventureland, and Liberty Square. :cool1:

Our last day at Magic Kingdom. We decided to take the bus since they started running at 8 am. We are trying to hurry down to the bus stop and we get there as soon as the bus is pulling out. So we wait, and we wait, and we wait some more. DS is asking me "Where is the bus? When will it be here?" I was getting SO frustrated, and really worried that we wouldn't make it by rope drop!
We decide to run to the boat dock instead, and they are just loading up! :thumbsup2 All is well again!

We get to MK and line up on the left side of the entrance, so we can run to Frontierland!! DS is SO excited to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! We tried to stop at Splash Mountain along the way for FPs, but the machine is broke! :scared1: So on we go, DH stays with DD and DS and I WALK onto BTMR. LOVE this ride!!
It nearly scared DS to death though.. as we are getting off I said are you ready to ride with Daddy? He says, No I don't think so. I said, I know!! Play a trick on him.. tell him it's SOOO scary! He says, OK! I will trick him!!
So, he rode again. They are in the back seat.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/313-1.jpg

Next we got in line for Splash Mountain, just DS & I. The wait was supposed to be 30 minutes but it MAY have been 20. Not too bad, and this ride is so much fun!! We got the rider switch pass but DS was not going back on it LOL. Instead, it was back to BTMR again! He is really getting into this now!! :yay:

We headed over to The Haunted Mansion. Wow were my kids scared at first!!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/315.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/314.jpg

They were ok by the end though, when they saw that the ghosts were nice!

We headed on to Adventureland, saw this guy..

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/341.jpg

and rode POTC.

It was just getting ready to rain so we ran inside the Enchanted Tiki Room. We get seated, the show starts, and then something goes wrong. All of the birds just stop.. um.. ok.. weird! The CS walks in and says sorry folks but we are having technical difficultes and we need you to exit to your right.
Off we go into the rain again! I love how abandoned it looks when it's raining! DS is soaked by now and when he wants this guy to spit on him... we say go for it!!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/333.jpg

The rain is slowing, so we sit and eat a Dole Whip. YUM. I thought it would be more pineapple in it though?? Here is DH in line getting it. :goodvibes

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/338.jpg

We are walking, and we see.....

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/335.jpg

Jasmine is SO pretty!!! We didn't stand in line for pictures though.. maybe next time!

DS and I were fascinated with the Treehouse...

While in Adventureland, DS & I saw

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/brea_gregory/324.jpg

DS was pretty nervous when we were standing in line.. Once I told him that they don't TALK, he was ok!

We had dinner reservations at Tony's Town Square at 5pm, so we headed toward Main Street, I snapped these pics on the way..

Dinner at Tony's... it was absolutely our FAVORITE meal at WDW. I had shrimp scampi (WONdERFUL), DH & the kids all had spaghetti & meatballs. Everyone agreed it was the best! Since it was our last night there we splurged a little and the kids got the nearly $7 drinks (Lightning McQueen for DS, Tinkerbell for DD).

After we finished up we came out and found..........

DD didn't even cry this time!

So, we have our bellies full, DS and I are ready to go! DH and DD are a different story.. they decided to go back to the resort and swim.. DS and I are on our own! Where does he want to go? Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!!! We have a FP so we go right on, then he wanted to ride It's A Small World ONE more time. I still couldn't talk him into Snow White's Scary Adventures though!
He really wanted a pretzel & a Coke, so we got some snacks and sat close to the castle and just relaxed.

It's getting late, and I am wondering if DH is able to get DD to sleep (she needs me at bedtime) so DS & I decide to make our way up Main Street toward the exit, and we shopped a little along the way. I found the cutest Minnie Mouse purse for DD, and DS got a sword!

Great report! Loved seeing all your pics in order!

LOVE all the outfits of course and all the castle pics. The one of the family is the BEST WDW castle pic I've seen, for some reason usually 1/2 the castle is cut out or people are a mile away, lol..

The WL looks very similar to the Grand Californian at Disneyland, we've only walked through it though or eaten there since its SO $$$!

I can't wait to help you plan your trip if you go to Disneyland! The weather will be much nicer too. :thumbsup2
