We've had some major changes lately and have had to cancel our VR due to expense. On the bright side, we are building a new house on a fantastic lot and our marriage is stronger than ever. Good luck to all those planning their special days. :)

Welcome!! It all sounds great! I love the dress, and your rings are gorgeous!!
I'm curious why you are waiting til January and seeing your next post! We are doing ours early- we had originally planned January as early in our 10th year of marriage, but ended up doing it in September, the end of our 9th year! Oh well! That's the nice thing about VR's you can do them whenever you like:) A friend of mine planned late and wasn't able to get her location until their 11th year instead of the 10th. So they did a VR at 21 years... and are planning another for 31 years! I'm thinking we'll be doing that, but in the 9's!
Hope you hear back from DFTW soon! :goodvibes

I love your dress- mine has pick ups too!
I am so glad you are finally getting the wedding that you always dreamed of. Have you thought about what you want to do after the ceremony?
Can't wait to hear more!

Ohh I love your dress!! It looks very similar to mine, but mine doesn't have all the pretty sparkles.
I like the hairstyle that it looks like you are leaning towards. I love the second hairpiece you have recently posted. I can see where you want to add some pearls and crystals. I am the same way. The model that is wearing the hairstyle you like... that the kind of tiara I wish I could find.

YAY! I'm so glad you started a PJ!!!!! I love your story and am so happy that you are finally getting your dream dress:goodvibes I really like the new setting for your rings and think the family ring is stunning too! I think the last combo you picked for jewelry, tiarra, and dress lookds great- I also really like the tiarra you posted right before that (with the blue background) but don't think you could go wrong with either! Congrats on getting your date and time too! As far as some of your questions went it looks like you got most of them answered. I really wish there was cake tasting:sad2: I think I may try to go to the boardwalk bakery and see if they have some mini cakes so I can try some of them:confused3
As far a photography goes I'm pretty sure they will take whatever pics you want during that 2 hours so I don't think getting family pics will be a problem! As far as the photo CD goes it depends on where you are from... for US brides it is not included... I can't remember the exact amount to buy the disc but I want to say it was around $800:scared1: if you wait so many years you can buy it at half price but I still think it's a horrible deal. Plus the photo album with 20 pics I've heard they pick for you (so you could end up with 20 pics you don't really like:eek:) I've just heard from too many brides with bad experiences with DPS so we decided to forfeit this part of the package and hire an outside photographer. For overseas brides they do get the disc:confused3 Heidi (you've posted some of her SP pics) is stationed in Germany so that's how she got the disc. I'm really not sure about Canadian brides and am curious to know what you find out!

Hey Jen,
I love everything so far! You've made awesome choices with everything! The Crocs especially!! :thumbsup2(Well the dress too o'course!) :rotfl:
The Marble Cake is so good! Good choice on that front! I believe you can do any topper, you just have to either supply it OR pay for an upgrade.
Looking forward to reading more!

Yay, congrats on your VR!! SP is a beautiful location, before we decided on DCL we were looking at SP.
The dress is beautiful and love the tiara and jewerly combo! What bridal shop did you find DH's shirt? We ended up getting Dh a Tommy Bahama shirt, but found some nice kahki pants at Macy's. (only to find that they have TB shirts also!) I just finally found the outfit for our DS last week at Old Navy!
good luck on your cake decision! it's a big one!:thumbsup2

$110 at Macy's too. Dh and Ds don't match exactly either, but no one is going to be looking that close!

I was originally thinking pink with your dress but seeing the orange right next to your dress on that board I think it looks great! I also love the pink and green bouquet (probably bc those are my colors:lovestruc). What if you had pink and orange calla lillies mixed? My bouquet will be the tropical bouquet from the escape option but with the colors changed to fuschia roses, orange calla lillies, and green orchids- so kinda similar. If you do mix the pink for the calla lillies may need to be a little brighter than the ones you have posted so it looks right with the orange but I think with the right shades it would be stunning!

I love the orange and green Jen! Here's an orange and green pic I stole from someone's TR- sorry can't remember who's!!!! But thought it may give you some more inspiration:

Also... I got some info from my wedding consultant about different childcare options at Disney- that way if your friends would have the option to bring their kids with to Disney but just not have them at the wedding- it's just too much info to post here but PM me your e-mail and I'll send it to you!

I know what you mean about the fireworks. It can be very hit-or-miss, because, honestly, the good shots are tough to get!
Can you do two parks? We were able to do MK and EPCOT and I think they were $1300 together (?). We got two separate albums...one for each park. But, I've heard of some brides giving up the album to be able to get the images on disk instead.
Thanks for the compliments on the pics! I did find out we're on there. Did they send it to you digitially or in print? I had heard it was only going out digital now. :confused3

Jen,
I read through your PJ because we're getting married the same week. I LOVE IT. I love your rings. They are so unique, and I love that you had them redone. I also absolutely love your generational ring. It's such a good idea, and the ring is stunning.
Also, I have to say that your PJ is what I want mine to be like. I love lists! I liked that you posted yours because it basically included everything I need to do. I haven't found a dress yet, and we're not sure of our date since we had to move locations (I find out in about 45 minutes). Still, reading through your PJ definitely made me feel like I can get this all planned out. I love your itinerary too. Basically, thanks for putting this up! I found it so helpful. Maybe we'll run into each other while we're there! (I think you even said that on one of my posts in the forum.)
Good luck!

First time reading your report. Not sure how I missed it all this time. Anyway, I just love the way everything looks - your dress is amazing and all your accessories work perfectly with the dress. Also love your DH's outfit.
Not sure if you found out anything about your cake topper yet but I believe the white and black one is from Disney - the cream colored one I believe is a Lenox one. We used the Disney white and black one (we received the Lenox one as a gift but did not want to bring it down to Disney with us as it is expensive).
Here is a photo of the one from Disney. This is from our wedding this past November.
http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q136/lpizzuro123/90091.jpg
Here is a link to the Lenox one http://www.lenox.com/cat/index.cfm?fuseaction=prod&&Ns=whatsnew_sort&N=0&No=0&rs2=1&Ntt=disney%20wedding&pid=5041&kf=1.
It is cream colored and has gold accents.
Looking forward to reading more.
