Well, Okay..I'll go first. ;)
I am Farrah, I love Music...I am a huge follower-call it stalker if ya want ;) of Rob Thomas and Matchbox twenty. The picture in my siggy is of My husband and I in Nashville TN visiting with Kyle Cook-the guitarist for Matchbox..they are all such great guys. Im also a twilight freak..yep-I said it. It is my guilty pleasure. I read all the magazines and books, watch all the trailers and video clips...oh and that poster on my sons wall- its really 4 me. ;)....
Okay lets move on..I have been married to my wonderful Husband Dane for 9 years this October...He is my soul mate..we just mesh well, laugh alot and dont take life to seriously...he loves music aswell, and plays guitar. He was a sponsered skateboarder when he was a teen and lived in Florida..he passed that trait down to both the kids...
Ofcourse we have 2 boys..hence my screen name. ;) Heath is my 9 yr old, going on 20.. and loves Baseball, video games, rock music, snowboarding, and loungin in his room....
Javen is my baby. He is 6 yrs old, but was was born with a birth defect; Cleft lip and palate..we were shocked to learn of this defect and his first year of life was consumed with 3 surgeries, and was definitly a learning experiance and a test of strength for all of us. Javen is TOTALLY fine now, but will have more surgeries as he grows. Javen loves Lion king, especially kovue (sp) because he has a scar (just like Javen). He also loves baseball, skateboarding, guitar hero, psp, and TWILIGHT. ;)

Ummm, I think thats about it for us as a family. OH wait -did I forget to mention WE LOVE DISNEY WORLD. ;):rotfl:

I got to to WDW for the first time in 2001, we stayed at ASsports,a nd only had Heath at the time..I fell in love with disney from the moment I walked in to MK and seen the castle..totally felt like a little kid again.
we returned to disney in 2003 again only with Heath, as Javen had just been born and we didnt feel comfortable taking him that far away from his team of doctors..this time we stayed at Coranado Springs..again a GREAT trip.
We skipped a few years and fianlly went back in 2007 ( I discovered DIS this time around)..Both Javena nd Heath got to go this time- It was soooo nice. I had got tons of info from the dis and actually had a Itenerary:worship: It was also our first time using FD, and meeting up with some dissers! Pics of that will come later.
okay then last year, 2008 we had the oppurtunity to go back to disney with a 40% off code at Wilderness lodge. We LOVED this trip..took everything a little slower, met up with Tammy, amungst many other dissers, we also were selected to be in the Animal kingdom parade..THATS WAS AMAZING!

This year we are returning to the world for 7 days at Coranado springs, we will be celebrating Danes 39 Birthday there, and were super stoked to get to meet up with Tammy, Amanda, and Becky again....AND cant wait to meet Heather, and Colleen, as well as any other dissers taht may decide to come along. ;)

Hey Farrah! I've lost over 30 pounds since I saw ya'll last. That double chin is gone. (Thank God) I hope to be in a size 9 by the time I meet ya'll in December. I'm trying. That 30 pounds has come off since April 5th. I just said...ENOUGH! I changed my eating habits. No junk food at all. No beverages other than the water w/ lemon juice and an occasional black coffee. Now, if I could motivate myself to work out I'd do all right. :rotfl:

I've never seen that pic of baby Javen. He is such a sweetheart. You would never know by looking at him now that he had to have surgery.

I'm so glad the boys got to do the Jedi Training Academy. You know they had a blast doing that. DD did it too. I think she's getting into Star Wars hot and heavy too. You should have seen her at SWW...she had a thing for the Anakin Skywalker character. I looked back through her pics and there were like 50 of him. So I asked, "Did you think he was cute or something?" She said, "Duh mama...he was fine!" :rolleyes: Boy oh boy do I have something to look forward to.

In March of 1998 we were married. Excuse this pic...I wish I had eloped or married on the sand but whatever. You live and learn. My next wedding/renewal will be at WDW! Here's a pic of us from the "big" day. These are pictures of pictures so they kind of suck. :laughing:

As soon as Sidney and I moved in together I took him to WDW. (Yeah, his family never took him and they lived 7 hours away!!!) That should tell you a lot about them right now. Enough said. Anyway, I bring my baby to WDW (along with my sis and four of her closest tween sized friends) and this is what we see! This was in the Summer of 1997 so I'm going backwards again...it's late ya'll and it's been a long day!

Our first child came along in April of 1999! I loved being a mom and wanted to have a house full. After three I changed my mind. :laughing: My kids are all huge fans of Disney. Like their daddy they would move to FL in a heartbeat if I said okay. I love SC though. I don't think I could ever leave and WDW isn't all that far away. 8-9 hours depending on the speed you drive. :rolleyes: We obey all traffic signs so it usually takes us 9.

All of those were from last December. I can not wait to go back again for the Holidays...and to be there with so many friends...it's going to be perfect! I'm so excited!

As ya'll can see from the links in my siggy we go to WDW a LOT. We became passholders last Summer and have been four times since then. (I'm trying to get my monies worth...:lmao:)

This December we will be staying at Ft Wilderness. We haven't stayed there since December of 2006. We really loved it then. It's a whole different World over there! So much fun. Since we have a kitchen we probably wont do any park dining on that trip. We do plan to do a lot of drinking! I'm hoping my parents will come along if we pay for everything. That way I'll have a sitter and we can hit WS one night. Just us adults. That would be so much fun! We'll see. I think I covered the basics here, but I'm sure I'm forgetting something. :laughing:

:goodvibesHI! Everyone for those who don't know me my name is Colleen this is my first ever PTR so i'm glad I got to join with some fellow disers! Here's a lil bit about me and my family Me and My DH Jim met in 1991 and that's when we started dating! It took 5 yrs to get engaged ! In April of 1996 we were engaged but that was very short as we were married 1yr later April 12th, 1997 this is when my husband learned to love Disney! We went on our Disneymoon! So we have been together since we were 18 so that also makes it 18yrs! :scared1:LOL! We have 2 children our DD Devon is 14 she loves hanging out with her friends, listening to music and doing her hair ! She also has this habit of taking pictures of herself! My DS Brandon his is the baby he just turned 10! He loves anything to do with Legos, Planes, Trains, Boats, Cars! Usually when we make plans we tell our children right? No I have to ask my son if he's free because his world revolves around Pop and the Train Museum or Boat shows! His schedule is usually full so I learned to make appts! :lmao: I also have 2 more family members that live with me they are my Niece Kerry 19 and her DD Tayler she's almost 3! Kerry doesn't go on vacation with us much anymore but Tayler is my right hip attachment so don't be surprised to see her too! We went on our First family trip to WDW in I believe August 2000 my DS was only 1 1/2 and Dd was almost 5 our first few trips we actually stayed off site! Then later down the line my Father purchased DVC and boy did we get spoiled! :eek:We went every other yr! Then I felt bad using my parents points! So we started by staying at POP! well needless to say we kept going back and last year during free dining we were there from 8/23thru8/31and we recieved the bounceback offer and sure enough we booked again for this year! So yes we are going in August first this is where I will actually get to meet Tammy and few other disers and then in Nov/Dec. You see another great DISER KRISTEN/XOKTENXO told me about renting points and I looked into this and I came across an awesome deal! We are renting points at AKV Kidani Village! My DD always asks to stay there well here's the catch DH nor DD nor DS have a clue about this yet! I have to decide when to tell DH as he needs to put the time in at work! But I can't wait this trip in Nov/Dec is going to be great of course because most of you will be there! Pics to follow now that I rambled on and you now actually know something about me!

Hey everyone!!!!!

Well, let me go ahead and introduce my family (in case you haven’t met us already) and give you some back story!



Chad and I met while working at Six Flags in the Summer of 94. We dated, broke up and got back together in 97. He wanted to go to Disneyworld for his birthday and my birthday (mine: October 8th, his October 13th!) So, off we went the first week in November! On November 7th, he asked me to marry him in front of Cinderella’s Castle…awwwwww ;)

We got married in May of 1999 and have been married for 10 years! All together, we have taken 10 trips with us. We took our sweet baby girl in November 2007, so its about time she gets back down there! She loves all the characters and to this day still talks about her trip down there. Including her BBB experience where she slipped out of the seat but tells everyone the FGIT let her fall!! Lol!!!

I am super excited to meet Tammy, Farrah, Becky, and Colleen and whoever else joins us and also to hang with Amanda in Disney! I have known her now for 15 years, (Oh my gosh Amanda!! Does it seem that long!!!).

Also joining us on this trip will be Chad’s mom and stepdad. They usually just go off on there own since this will be SD’s last trip!



You will see tons of pictures from me! We love to dress up (Halloween, birthday parties, etc) so you will see goofy pictures as well!

So on our 2007 trip I made some outfits for the boys to wear for the Pirate cruise...Im wondering If we should let them doing something like that again this year? Whaddya'all think?? Has Disney come up with any new types of things for the kids to do that I dont know about? Also..who here is making clothes for their kids to wear while in WDW-Im still debating it. I will post the Pirate cruise outfits later today when I get home from running errends-blah.

I think I pretty much know what park we are going to and when. This is what I have so far. Now remember, its not set in stone!! :rotfl:

Tue, Dec. 1st: MVMCP
Wed. Dec. 2nd: MK
Thurs, Dec. 3rd: Maybe DHS
Friday, Dec. 4th: Either Universal or Epcot
Sat. Dec. 5th: Whatever we don't do the day before!!

I know that on the 3rd and 4th they are having MVMCP, so we want to go a day that they don't have it so we can take out time and stay there a good while!

We met Back in 1999. I met Jason at Karaoke & I made him wait almost 2 whole months before I said yes I would go on a date with him.. But after that we were never apart!

I remember wedding planning & jason asking me "where do you want to go on our honeymoon" His mouth dropped when i said Disney world... You see I grew up going to disney every summer. and he had never been. So I knew i had to get him there, so he could see the magic and hopeful fall in love with it too... Guess what he did!!:cool1::cool1:
in fact the week after getting home from our honeymoon jason put in for a transifer to Orlando.
Then Came James

We lived in orlando for 5 1/2 yrs it was the best back then we had AP's and would go to disney aleast once a week to do something...
But then we made a biggest mistake of our lives !! We moved away !! Yep we moved to Mississippi but hated it So then a year later moved to New orleans but hated it so Then we moved back to Atlanta area... We are ok here but its not Orlando... oh Well !!

My son James is 8 He's my laid-back Comedian. He loves to tell jokes & make people laugh. He loves to play fooball, soccer and baseball.But mostly loved his DS, everyone that meets him says he's an old soul in a childs body. and My daughter Alexis is 6.( she will be 7 this week..) She is my Wild Child-Drama Queen, That loves being a cheerleader & is a born performer!! she loves to sing & dance, She will put on a show for anyone that will sit down and watch her.

I did BBB and they didn't touch my makeup. She just put it in the bag for me. Back then it was $35. I don't know that I could pay 'em $60 to play with my hair. :lmao:

I agree with you there Heather , I want one of those wands for home too that would be a blast ! I actually thought about asking if I could buy one somewhere there when we got DD's hair done there in May , glad I didn't seems like they take the whole role play thing very seriously ! LOL

We are going to be there Sunday November 29-Sunday December 13. We had originally planned to go a week later, but I just got approval from work to take a full two weeks off, so I figured I needed to add another week in & then tell Will about it later :)

We are traveling today so I can't spend too much time online, but tomorrow I will update pictures & more about us.

For now, there will be 3 of us attending.

OMG really!!!???? Here's another selling point. The week that we are going the rates are super low. It's right after Thanksgiving. You're renting points so I don't know if that makes a difference. The other thing...ALL of the big holiday stuff at DHS, and Epcot is not scheduled to start until AFTER Thanksgiving break. So everything I have reasearched and read said November 29th. MK will def be decorated before but you'd be chancing the other stuff. KWIM? Our dates are 11/29- 12/06. I'll stay longer if I get a good deal but this is the only week I could get cheap right now. I hope it works out!!!! FUN FUN FUN!!!

I wonder if Fulton's Crab House would be good?? We have never ate there though. We did eat at coral reef and loved it but it was probably because I drank around the world all day and had 6 drinks, yes!, 6 before we got there then had 2 glasses of champagne (chad hates that stuff!) and then a blue glow-tini on top of that! Plus we only ate the salads and that was it!
Yummmm, fiesta margarita and grey goose citron slush here I come!

Flying Fish is a great restaurant. Great food.

Bluezoo at the Dolphin, although I haven't eaten there.

I got a passholder pin a while back. I was quoted $49.20 for the values...I didn't check a mod but I'm guessing about $79. WL was $159. (But I think that was an upgrade...I don't think they had standard when I checked.) The Boardwalk was $201. I think the cabin was $159. I think w/o a pin on the regular website it'll be about 10% higher.

The Grand Floridian Cafe has a nice menu. Kona is nice too and The Wave gets rave reviews. Almost all of the menus are online now on the WDW website. Did you know that? They're the actual menu so you can print out a nice book to keep full of menus. I think if you eat at GFC you can order him the chocolate castle or Mickey. Would he like that or no?

Yes...you can use your park ticket for whatever then enter the MK after 4pm I think. Was it 4:00? :confused3 I never bought park hoppers either. It's free with AP's. You and your resorts....LOL. I love WL too, on the outside. I thought those rooms were oogly! :lmao:

I have gone in December before and it may be my favorite time of year to go. However, now that I work at a church, December is a busy time. So it's hard to take time off. January we close the year. So February works out really well with my schedule.

I would love to meet all of you. I "know" Heather and Farrah from their previous TRs and PTRs and them being on mine.

Now I'm sad....:sad2: but just a little since I'll be going just a few months later......:thumbsup2

With the number of people we got going, anyone starting a spreadsheet? It would be useful to see when we can plan a partay. party:

Buggy (DS): Buggy is our nickname for our son Brady. He is truly my joy (mostly!). He was born at 29 weeks and weighed 2.5lbs. He stayed in the NICU for 6 weeks and never had a set-back. He is 2 years old now and healthy and strong. His only issue is he doesn't really talk yet. He has a speech therapist and is slowly coming along. His favorite word is "Yeah" so at least he's very agreeable! He is very shy and he likes the characters but he doesn't like it if they touch him. Buggy loves Mickey Mouse and Goofy and has been to WDW 2x. This trip will be his 3rd.

We had booked bounceback FREE dining for September but then I got the great 40% off PIN code and had a master plan to go for the holidays. Grammy and DH agreed so I changed the reservation and we are golden! We've never seen the Christmas decorations and I am soo looking forward to it.
We are staying at the WL in 2 rooms. DH says it's not a vacation if he has to share a room with his MIL! :laughing: Plus, Grammy likes a little space for herself to escape I imagine. Last year we stayed at POFQ and loved it there. It was the perfect size with DS. But we are dreaming of our stay at the WL!

In March we tried the QSDP for a quick stay at CSR. We LOVED that resort and really enjoyed the QSDP. I'm not sure if we'll be adding that plan or the regular DDP. I can see the value in both. The reason I don't really want the DDP is I hate paying the tips. That adds quite a bit of $$ OOP during the vacation. Plus, last year we had some DS meltdowns at TS restuarants. Poor kid was just tired and cranky by dinner time. He might be ok now that he's older though. The QSDP worked out great for us in March. We got to eat at a bunch of different CS places and never went hungry. I loved the refillable cup included in the price and 2 snacks per day was great. We did do 2 TS meals OOP and actually I paid with my Disney Visa Rewards so it was like eating FREE!! (don't pay attention to all I had to spend to get the FREE meals!)

So that's where we are right now with our trip. Still figuring out the dining plans and itinerary. I do want to go to MVMCP and I was thinking the 3rd so that would work out great since I think that's what the majority on the PTR were planning.

I wonder if Fulton's Crab House would be good?? We have never ate there though. We did eat at coral reef and loved it but it was probably because I drank around the world all day and had 6 drinks, yes!, 6 before we got there then had 2 glasses of champagne (chad hates that stuff!) and then a blue glow-tini on top of that! Plus we only ate the salads and that was it!

(And the oldest is a little genius....in GT and scores in the top 1% of the state!) The baby talks all the time but most people don't understand him. Look at the nice upscale DELUXE bedding. Actually it's better than most of the deluxe resorts! The comforters were so thick and plush. The Mickey bedding and pillows were so cute!

We were booked at the POP and then I 'found' some money so I upgraded us and the only Mod available was CSR. The more I researched the more and I liked it and when we were there we fell in love!
I've actually considered switching to CSR to save a bit of $$ in November. It was that nice :goodvibes
I agree our DHs would get along. Hopefully we'll meet!

Yeah, no balcony is a draw back and on ours we could see Wishes at night. :goodvibes That was nice. But the rooms...no hands down, CSR. It's a shame too 'cause for about $500 per room they could do all new custom bedding with a fancy pillow and have the perfect room!

I LOVE the playground area for the kids and the swimming pool is great. One of the longest resort slides at Disney! I think the playground is the best! Might I make a suggestion for your family with your mom? Have you guys ever considered the Ft Wilderness cabins? Over there the rate with the pin was really low. The bedroom is very private and located on opposite ends of the house as the murphy bed. You also have a full kitchen so if you want you can skip the dining all together. They have a brand new pool and slide area. You can see WISHES and the water parade from the beach. You have the Campfire Singalong...all that fun stuff. Pony rides for your babyDS. (Mine could do this all day long!) It's wonderful over there especially during the holidays. A lot of the campsites decorate like a house would and it's an amazing sight. We stayed there for Christmas in '06 and it was so nice!

I was at WDW 3 times as a kid with my parents, once again in 2005 and then my wonderful boyfriend and I went this past April. We had such an amazing time and are super excited to go back, especially to meet all of our Dis friends and see the Christmas decorations! I currently am a part time teller at a bank while I'm still in school. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in political science and psychology last August and am currently in school going for my Master's in adolescent education to become a social studies teacher! :teacher: I'm easy to please and love to have a good time! His favorite thing to do with work on cars, mechanical stuff and auto body work too. He's obsessed! Our April trip was technically Chris's first trip to WDW and he really loved it! Ya know I can't think of a time when the parties sold out other than right before Christmas. The week of they get slammed so people buy the tix and of course Halloween night for the MNSSHP is a must do early. The week we're going we should be fine.

For those of you doing the dining plan don't forget about the Grand Gathering options. All you need is 8 people to book one. They have three meals available. The Good Morning Grand Gathering at Tony's only takes one credit from the dining plan. The two service places are the Animal Kingdom's Safari GG and the Epcot's Illuminations GG. These can be booked 180 days in advance and they fill up fast!

Hey! Kristen, Great intro! I worked at a Bank 6yrs before going to work for the state I was Teller Supervisor when I left I got tired of all the merges! We went from Collective Bank to Summit Bank to Fleet Bank and I left after the first paycheck from fleet to goto the state for a job with benefits costing very lil as opposed to mucho dinero! I can't wait to meet You and Chris! My Dh is a mechanic and seems to like alot of things you say Chris likes! I know you're missing the WL already but look at this amazing room! These rooms are so much prettier than the WL rooms. I did not say the resort overall but the room, YES. I just took these of the new rooms...

Look at the nice upscale DELUXE bedding. Actually it's better than most of the deluxe resorts! The comforters were so thick and plush. The Mickey bedding and pillows were so cute!

Can't wait for December. I've been wanting to go in the fall/winter since we left Orlando, but free dining keeps bringing us back in the summer. Too hot and humid. Finally, we get to go back when it's cooler. We haven't quite decided yet whether we are doing DDP or gonna eat off site.

I am going to WDW from 11/29-12/5. This will be our first time during the holidays. I am beyond excited! :woohoo:

Rosie (me): I work part-time for a bank. I am lucky enough that I never went back to full-time after DS was born 2+ years ago! We live near Buffalo,NY. I don't love it here but it's home. I enjoy reading, shopping, watching reality tv or anything with drama. I really really love WDW and everything Disney. I enjoy summer and warm weather and despise being cold/snow.

Pat (DH): works many jobs to help feed my need to go to WDW! His 9-5 is in purchasing but he also bartends and plays in a few bands for fun and $$! He is the bestest DH ever! He's so good with DS and works hard so we all can play :love: . DH loves playing the drums, music, video games, boating and Me and DS! He's not that into WDW but I think that he just says that! I mean we go every year, and sometimes 2x per year. He's obviously enjoying himself!

Buggy (DS): Buggy is our nickname for our son Brady. He is truly my joy (mostly!). He was born at 29 weeks and weighed 2.5lbs. He stayed in the NICU for 6 weeks and never had a set-back. He is 2 years old now and healthy and strong. His only issue is he doesn't really talk yet. He has a speech therapist and is slowly coming along. His favorite word is "Yeah" so at least he's very agreeable! He is very shy and he likes the characters but he doesn't like it if they touch him. Buggy loves Mickey Mouse and Goofy and has been to WDW 2x. This trip will be his 3rd.

Grammy (DM): Grammy is my momma. She is the best! She is a retired teacher and watches Buggy 2x a week. We are very close. She came with us last September to WDW and decided to come along again this year. Grammy is easygoing and smart. She lets me do all the planning and just shows up where she's supposed to with a smile! Her DH doesn't like to travel so she travels with us!

We had booked bounceback FREE dining for September but then I got the great 40% off PIN code and had a master plan to go for the holidays. Grammy and DH agreed so I changed the reservation and we are golden! We've never seen the Christmas decorations and I am soo looking forward to it.
We are staying at the WL in 2 rooms. DH says it's not a vacation if he has to share a room with his MIL! :laughing: Plus, Grammy likes a little space for herself to escape I imagine. Last year we stayed at POFQ and loved it there. It was the perfect size with DS. But we are dreaming of our stay at the WL!

In March we tried the QSDP for a quick stay at CSR. We LOVED that resort and really enjoyed the QSDP. I'm not sure if we'll be adding that plan or the regular DDP. I can see the value in both. The reason I don't really want the DDP is I hate paying the tips. That adds quite a bit of $$ OOP during the vacation. Plus, last year we had some DS meltdowns at TS restuarants. Poor kid was just tired and cranky by dinner time. He might be ok now that he's older though. The QSDP worked out great for us in March. We got to eat at a bunch of different CS places and never went hungry. I loved the refillable cup included in the price and 2 snacks per day was great. We did do 2 TS meals OOP and actually I paid with my Disney Visa Rewards so it was like eating FREE!! (don't pay attention to all I had to spend to get the FREE meals!)

So that's where we are right now with our trip. Still figuring out the dining plans and itinerary. I do want to go to MVMCP and I was thinking the 3rd so that would work out great since I think that's what the majority on the PTR were planning.

:rotfl: Yessss!! I do the same thing when I'm talking to my BF, just call everyone by their first names and he's like wait, whose that? He thinks its like someone I know from work or something until I tell him and then hes like oh duh I should have known LOL Keep it a surprise from your kids for as long as possible! I hate truancy cases!!! I work with juveniles on probation and that is the one thing that drives me crazy!!! Most of the time, they give them to us and then dismiss immediately! Schools are just crazy now! I really wish I could home school Hollie once she starts, but with Chad's back there is no way!
Its pathetic when they do that to the kids when they are sick and then when they aren't doing work. Schools could be a little more like they used to be. They are so strict now!

The schools and the truancy is Bs! I know how that is DD had Surgery on her knee ACL reconstruction she missed 13 days total 11 being the surgery and doc appts! So they are all excused but I still get a letter sent home saying she could loose credits shes a freshmen and I called them and they said even though they are excused they still have to send the letter! CRAZY CRAZY!!!!

Wow! That is a great deal! I wanna see. I find them on sale a lot at the DS in the off season. DD has a curio full of them and I have a few in my Disney bathroom. If I had somewhere to put them all I'd have a lot more. The bookend globes are my favorites!

I put in for the week at work today. People like to take off time around the holidays and I wanted to make sure that I put in for it before anyone else got the chance to. Chris can't put in for it yet so my fingers are crossed! Good luck with your DH getting the days too :)

We do have the same jobs and what's funnier is I went back for my masters in education too, but I only lasted 1 year and then decided I needed to make some $$ and I decided I didn't really like teaching kids all that much! :sad2:

Hi all!

I have a lot of catching up to do! We just got up to our home in Alaska a few days ago and I was absolutely LOST without internet access! Our service was not supposed to be disconnected over the winter, but for some reason it was. So, I spent our first 2 days here on the phone w/ our satellite internet provider trying to get the service back up. Let's just say it was not the most exciting way to start our summer vacation! :)

So, as I mentioned earlier we will be there November 29-December 13. It is our first trip back since 2007. I am so excited! Missing our trip last fall made me so depressed....seriously! I would live in Florida and go to WDW every single day if I could and I would never get tired of it.

My son Hunter's 3rd birthday is November 12 and my DH Will's birthday is December 16. So we decided to pick a date in the middle and celebrate both.

I was looking up ride restrictions yesterday and realized that DS will be old enough to ride all of the rides this year! He is very tall for his age...already 45" (think he is going to take after DH who is 6'6"). But I am not so sure I'll have him riding TOT or SM...still think those will be a little too scary for him.

Anyways, here are a few pictures of us. I LOVE taking photos, I am just really bad about getting them downloaded off of my camera and edited lol.

I'm going to spend some time today catching up on all the posts so that I can jump right in and actually know what I'm talking about lol.

I would love to go see the holiday decorations and meet up with you all. Even if I could convince DH ;) and that might be with work being so slow. Kaylee can't miss school :guilty: they already have truancy on my case because she missed a whooping 7 days last year. Two of them were sick days and the other 5 were the last week of school when they don't even do work. but if anything changes I will let you know. Of course if nothing else I will at least get to read all about the fun you all have :goodvibes.

I wish you could go. Apply to home school!!! The kids had so much fun together. I know DD would love to hang out with Kaylee again and I kind of liked you too. :rotfl2: Really, you guys were cool, and I would have thought so even if I hadn't been tipsy. :lmao:

Colleen...Great pics. Thanks for sharing. I showed DS...he was curious to how his new buddy looked. He'd only seen the one picture and that was a long time ago. My kiddos went to a pool party yesterday too. It was a nice place...a brand new fancy development that sold a few lots when the recession hit. So there's NO houses and this super sweet amenities center. The pool is huge and it has water slides and jets everywhere. It's really cool. Well, some of our friends bought a lot in there to build on later so they get to use the pool and grounds. It was weird though with no homes built yet. Just a golf course and this huge pool area/clubhouse. Everyone had a blast but me. Darn monthly...:rolleyes:

And Tammy, We did look into the FW cabins but my mom and I are NOT nature lovers! Right now we are booked at POP but it may change depending on money. I was unemployed for about 3 months and just now am back to work. We had to use alot of our vacation fund while I was unemployed as I didn't even get unemployment becuse the company I was working for didn't pay into it. Our 10th anniversarry was in May so it is a late trip.

Last September we had hoppers and I think we only used them to 'hop' like once or twice. We were so tired by the end of the day! So I might just do base tickets this year.

Oh, and I got a package from Disney Shopping yesterday and it was the holiday turtlenecks I got for my mom and me. I got the Tinkerbell one and she got the Mickey one!! Woo Hoo!! She was so excited this morning she wanted to put it on!!

I use to do hoppers but found that like you, we didnt really 'hop' much, so last year and this year we skipped paying for the hopper and it worked fine. The only thing you really have to worry about is making sure you get in the park that is having the activities you wanna see (fantasmic, wishes, etc),and that if you decide your gonna wanna eat at a resturant in a certin park you must choose that park for the day..for instance if we had a adr at Lecellier on Tuesday then we have to choose Epcot for that day. Honestly I dont think the hoppers are worth the extra 2 hundred and something....Id rather spend that on "stuff" at the parks.:goodvibes

I tried to make out an outline of what park we're going to do each day and then what restaurant we're going to do our TS at. We don't have hoppers for the reason you said too. Plus we don't have a car down there so busing it around park to park is a pain!

In the past when we had dis groups this big we would meet at a certin time at petals pool bar at POP for drinks...we called it the GLOW meet..because we all wore glow in teh dark necklaces, earrings, and had glowing glasses etc.
Also we had a group ADR last year at Lecellier..It wasnt quite as large, It was 3 families.

I'm so nervous now about getting ADRs with the 90 day window. How did those of you going for Free Dining make out? Is it even 90 days till FD yet?

Sun: Chef Mickey's Dinner (nervous about getting this one)
Mon: WCC Dinner (never done this before)
Tues: Wave dinner (maybe just DH and I)
Wed: Tusker House BF Buffet
Thur: LTT dinner
Fri: Mama Melrose
Sat: Trails End BF Buffet (OOP)

We always do CP breakfast so I'd like to do that too but maybe we'll just try TH this year. I'd easily exchange it for Mama Melrose I think.

If we don't do DDP I want to try WCC and maybe the Wave or Citrico's for just DH and I. I'd also want to throw in a BF buffet somewhere too.

I wish cuz it sounds like a whole lot of fun but our JUly trip pretty much wipes out our travel budget for the year. But I would certainly be up for a DISmeet in the future. I've enjoyed talking to everyone on the boards so much I already feel like kinda know everyone and to actually get to hang out in person would be a blast.:cloud9:

12/1: Sci Fi (since we might be at DHS)
12/2: CP for early breakfast at MK
12/3: CM for breakfast probably late
12/4: Universal this day
12/5: SAI at Epcot then maybe CR for dinner

We did WCC last year and I really liked this place. Our waitress was really messing with the table next to us and it was so funny, but she took it easy on us a bit, I think becuase of Claire. She was really nice and even gave us a full shake each to take with us to go and put our deserts in to go boxes as well. She did a few funny things, but it was just enough and not too much for us.

I don't have much of an itinerary yet. I honestly can't remember if I got park-hoppers or base tickets! D'oh!! I"ll have to check into that.
Last September we had hoppers and I think we only used them to 'hop' like once or twice. We were so tired by the end of the day! So I might just do base tickets this year.

Oh, and I got a package from Disney Shopping yesterday and it was the holiday turtlenecks I got for my mom and me. I got the Tinkerbell one and she got the Mickey one!! Woo Hoo!! She was so excited this morning she wanted to put it on!!

That's why I liked hours 180 days out! Before we became AP's I only did the base ticket. Hoppers are expensive and to hop really kills your day. Especially with kids.

Well I am down for anything. We're booked at a cabin so if everyone wants to come by one night we can hang on the beach...have some drinks and watch Wishes...let me know. I guess we all need to plan something. What do ya'll think? We should do 2 or 3 meets so we'll all get a chance to make one of them. What about a night at Chef Mickey's? I can see it now. We call and need a table for 65. Thanks. :laughing: I wonder what they'd say?

Another fun meet would be at DHS. We could do the second seating of Fantasmic and usually the park closes early and they leave a few things open for those going to the second show. We could all meet up back where they do the Osborne lights and enjoy it without so many people. Dawn told me it stays open even after park closing so we could get some great photos then enjoy Fantasmic without a huge crowd. We went to second seating in March and it was about 1/6 full. We came in 5 minutes before showtime and got front row seats! Of course we'd have to wait and see the schedule...

Other ideas? I don't know that we should do a resort get together unless it's at a MK area since it's hard for those w/o a car to get there.

We're doing a GG this Summer...me, Colleen and Christine. We're all having dinner together at the AK. We're doing the safari. Colleen and I are doing the other two GG's as well and we're all going to HDDMR together. I hope we all get along, if not we're screwed. :rotfl2:That's just three families though. I got everything. I had to swap a couple of things around to get them all but I did it and I had 39 spots to fill! :eek: It's not so bad. Trails end was not very good when we went last Christmas. LTT I don't think will be fun w/o the characters. I've heard great things about the Wave and the place is gorgeous!

Oh Tammy, I think a fantasmic meet would be awsome. We did that last year with Tanya and her family- but it was early Sept. and was VERY busy..I have only seen fantasmic twice and both times I was up at the top of the place- never have been in front. :(
Oh and yes..PPlleaasseee do let me know when Disney store has a sale on the globes.

Why not get a cabin at Ft Wilderness? All of you would fit fine there and you'd have a kitchen!!! And you'd be at a MK Bay Lake resort! (And my neighbor!)

Have you seen the ALL STAR suites? I don't know that your MIL would be comfy there. Kids might be okay but it's sleeper chairs...that kind of thing. My neighbor got one last Fall and said NEVER AGAIN and it was them and their three young sons.

I'm still hoping they do a free dining special again like last year. If they do I am so swapping back to Pop for it! FREE DINING rocks!

Okay...looks like we'll all be doing the MVMCP on the same night. I don't know what night but whatever you all decide I'm good with! I do know I will be at Chef Mickey's in Dec , Because its a must do every trip so a meet there would be great!!

Maybe we can all meet for the parade or I can call the GG number and see if we can reserve a spot for our group or something. I'm sure all 100 of us don't want to do every single thing together on the party night so the parade or fireworks...or maybe the Christmas show we could meet up for. The show rocks by the way! You have to check it out! Thats a good idea. I know what you mean about everyone not wanting to do everything all together so the fireworks or parade or show would be a great idea. I can't wait to see the show after seeing your pictures from your last trip at Christmas time.

CHEF MICKEYS...as soon as hours come out we'll plan a night to gather there. It would be nice to eat here the night of the Christmas party. Does anyone have a problem with that? Will everyone be here by then? Amanda...how about you guys? I wanna say the 3rd was the MVMCP night. LMK Sounds good to me. I was planning it for the night of the MVMCP so it sounds like a great plan. The 3rd was the night that I think most of us were planning.

I've been MIA too. A quick trip to the beach and one day at WDW!! WooHoo!

I had a nice girls weekend and we got one day hoppers for last Sunday. We hit up EPCOT DHS and MK. Dinner was at the Sushi Bar outside of Kona Cafe. It was good there and we found out they serve the regular Kona menu in addition to the sushi menu. So much fun!!!


I'm good with a Chef Mickey's dinner/meet before MVMCP on the 3rd! Can't wait!

Oh no they don't allow kids because you see characters without their heads and stuff like that. They don't want to freak out a kid...my kids know these things are in suits. Geez. It should be at the discression of parents. LOL I would have been i awe to see a headless Mickey when I was 10. :lmao:I might do the tour w/ ya'll and let him do the segway. Love all the pics Tammy! I can't wait to be there when all of the holiday decorations are up.

Sorry I've been away quite a bit this week. My boss is on vacation in Costa Rica...her 4th vacation this year, when we always have a hard time just getting our 2 weeks off...can't tell I'm bitter about it huh?!?! Anyways, things have been pretty crazy with her away.

We are in Alaska for another month and getting the boat ready today so that we can go fishing for father's day tomorrow. DH wants to spend the day fishing, which is fine with me, I'm hoping to stock up on halibut & salmon to take back to Idaho with us.

My aunt called last night to ask if she could join us on our vacation. At first I didn't want to have any other family members travel with us--every trip we've ever taken to WDW has included family. But I love my aunt to death & she is a lot of fun to be around. I decided that it would be fun if she came with us, plus we'd have an extra person around since DS still won't be able to ride all rides. We are all going to stay in the same room, but since she is coming along now and splitting the cost of the room w/ us I'm going to see if I can convince her & DH to upgrade to WL...my dream resort, especially at Christmas.
