I just wanted to share this cute story-My DS has been watching Toy Story 2 nonstop for 1 week now. I couldn't take it anymore last night so I put in the video of our family at WDW from last year. It's about 20 mins. He watched it 2x last night and woke up this morning and told me he wanted the Minnie and Brady movie! It's too cute!! He's so excited and I keep asking him if he wants to go see Mickey and he says "yes!". He loves the castle and keeps telling me "Brady will go there" everytime he sees it.

Kristen-I know we are doing MK on 12/1, and we will be at DHS on 11/30 till close. It'll be my only chance to see the Osbourne Lights. Maybe we'll run into eachother. Oh, and maybe I"ll see you at the airport as we will be leaving around 3pm on the DME as well!

We're driving this time and still debating on when we are leaving since I love my black friday bargains! lol! But we may actually be in Orlando on the 29th but I'm not sure yet if we are we will be offsite and I don't think we'll be in until late but i'll let you know!

Tammy- If I wind up with a new cell number I will make sure you all have it.
I won't know that for a few days . I can't believe this trip is so close!

Ok Chris and I are eating at Boma at 7:45 so its really up to you because we can meet you guys all at the pool or wherever we're going to meet when we're done eating. It was sooo cold here yesterday! My car actually beeped and on the little screen in my dash it said "Icy Roads Possible"!! During the day it was like 45 degrees and at night it was in the 30s. Too cold too soon! How cold is it there? I could go for 70s in FL, even 60s would be better than what we have here! I'm glad you guys are going to do DHS on the 30th!! We can try and meet up a few times during the day. All I can say is WOW!!! I just discovered this amazing PTR tonight and I was so surprised to see all of these wonderful ladies "pooling" their trip plans together. I was even more surprised to see who was involved because there was a time when I was a follower of Tammy's and Farrah's PTRs and TRs. Life has been very busy for me this past year as I gave birth to my beautiful son William. Between him and my gorgeous daughter Emily I have had to put the DIS on hold more often than not.

Anyway, this PTR was a wonderful surprise and I have been doing a lot of reading tonight!!! I am so happy for everyone who will get to meet each other and share some wonderful times together in our home away from home. My only regret is that I will miss the chance to meet you all. I have booked and planned a fantastic "mommy and me" trip for my DD and I and we arrive on Dec 11th. It is a short trip of only five days for us, but I can hardly wait. My DH is staying home with the baby so I can enjoy this time with Emily.

I am so glad I found this PTR and I wish you all the best time on your trips. Will there be a group TR after or are you all doing your own thing?

I'm not ready either! I can't believe how fast time is flying now. I can't get my suitcases out too early because it freaks my dog out. She literally gets manic when she sees our suitcases! We are getting ready for Thanksgiving and getting new carpeting installed the day after Thanksgiving. Plus, my DH is super busy right now with his band and bartending. Can't complain about the money but I would like to see him every once in awhile!
On a PTR note, I made our Disney sweatshirts over the weekend. I'll try and post a picture soon. They came out really cute!

Your dog sounds like mine! I swear mine needs a dog psychologist. My dad had surgery last week (nothing serious) but him and my mom were gone almost all day of the surgery and the following day and my dog was CRAZYYYY LOL Post a picutre of the sweatshirts when you can!

I'm not ready either! I can't believe how fast time is flying now. I can't get my suitcases out too early because it freaks my dog out. She literally gets manic when she sees our suitcases! We are getting ready for Thanksgiving and getting new carpeting installed the day after Thanksgiving. Plus, my DH is super busy right now with his band and bartending. Can't complain about the money but I would like to see him every once in awhile!

Just like everyone else said - it's coming up so soon! I really need to buckle down and start getting everything together for this trip. I want to go to the store and get Jake a few new outfits... or maybe just some shirts. I need to do the same for myself, but I hate not knowing what the weather is going to be like. We were there the same exact time last year and it ended up being FREEZING! But we should be okay as long as we have a hoodie or two. :)

How much spending money do you think I should bring? We have the free dining plan, so alot of our food is covered and since we're driving down, I'll be able to pretty much bring any extra snacks we'd want to eat... and drinks!

Farrah - My best friend and I went to Disney the exact same week last year and the crowds were bigger then I had been told to expect, but it was NOTHING compared to what I'm assuming the summer crowds are like. The weekend right after Thanksgiving was still pretty packed, but most of us are arriving that Sunday after or even later. Where as last year, we got there Friday night after Thanksgiving. The only thing that I really remember is how cold it was! It was colder down there then it was up here in Virginia! Just be sure to pack a few hoodies and you'll be good to go!

Looks like we'll be at DHS the same day! I'm up for a meet w/ You and Kristen that would be fun! We are at Epcot on the 2nd also and MVMCP on the 3rd!
We're doing AK on the 1st. If we can swing it we are going to hit the taping of the parade on the 4th we have the tickets just not sure what's happening
yet since thats our departure day :sad1:

I hope the weather stays like that the whole week we're there!

Just make sure yall have a jacket for the mornings and the evenings - that's when I noticed it got super chilly last year. My friend and I were able to wear tshirts/shorts during the days, but at night we always changed into jeans and had a jacket with us!

Exactly. No food. No rooms. No Legos??? (:laughing:) For real...who buys $1000 worth of cheap T shirts/junk during a visit? EVERYTHING I have gotten from WDW breaks or ruins within 2 wears or with very little usage. Not kidding. I got a ghost antenna topper and the dang ear had fallen off by the time I got back to the room. The red T shirt I'm wearing right now was $28 or $34 (can't remember now...it's the hippie line they have out) Worn once w/ the $60 black hoody (that looks like the Ed Hardy stuff) and now my red T has lil black "balls" all over my ****s. You would think a T shirt that cost that much would last longer than the $3 ones from the Disney Store but nope....it don't. I could go on and on. Need a souvi...buy a coffee mug. For real...what could go wrong w/ a simple coffee mug? LOL That's the only thing we have left intact that's still in good shape from the past 365 days worth of purchases! :sad2:

Tammy that would've been a great thing to do had my DH not told me last night that he has to work FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!:mad: I told him to take off but he decided not to since he has to work the day before and the day after the holiday to get paid for it! So now he's going to try to get done early but that probably won't happen it never does!!! So If it's not to bad we will probably start out then if not early am sat for us!! :eek:

Going to my parents for Thanksgiving tommorrow and my sister and nephews are coming down! :)

I checked in online yesterday for our Villa it was pretty cool and I printed the confirmation! :cool1::yay:
I just can't wait to get out of here now I'm done work for 11 days and maybe longer once I get back on Monday 12/7 I have an appt to meet with the Orthopedic about my MRI results for my knee :sad2: I don't think it's going to be good just a feeling. I haven't had an MRI in 20 yrs :eek: Crazy stuff!


We are all packed did that last night! :) I packed a little bit of everything since we have a washer and dryer no worries on not having enough stuff! :)

I think we're planning on leaving around 1am Sunday morning, if not earlier! Knowing me, I'll probably want to leave at like 10pm Saturday night... which wouldn't be bad at all actually. That'd put us in Disney around 11am Sunday morning. Hmmm... maybe I'll leave then!

I'll probably be on here again before we leave but to anyone leaving before us, have a safe trip!! Our flight leaves at 6:20 Saturday night. Lauren, leave late Saturday night, I think that's a better idea!! lol Colleen, I have your number I'll be in touch with you when we check into AKV Sunday morning. We just packed up most of Chris's suitcase and I'll be packing tomorrow night. Nothing like waiting until last minute! haha

My mom and I are meeting up with my aunt and some cousins to do Black Friday shopping at 2:30am! We'll be shopping all morning then one of my cousins is getting married next year and we're all in the bridal party so we have 2 appointments to try on dresses tomorrow, one at 12 and another at 3. I'm going to be shotttttt tomorrow night! See you all in Disney real soon!!

:hippie: Well we made it to Valdosta GA..a 12 hour drive..we will have 3 hour drive tomorrow. I am praying that traffic is not to bad..seeing how it is the Sunday after Thanksgiving,:scared1:

Boy, I am pooped!! LOL!! Its been a long couple of weeks!!!!

Hey Guys!! After a grueling 15 hours of travel back to the west coast, we're back. Got to quickly (and I mean a brief few moments) meet Tammy & her brood, but I am so happy I got to ;) Recovering today (doing laundry and going through 800+ photos), and will start a TR this week to share with you all. Had a FANTASTIC time and will be back in 18 months!!! SQUEE!!!! ;)

we're home too! WDW was great, the cruise was so-so, the VR was WONDERFUL! kids caught a stomach bug on the cruise and puked the whole way home, and I left my camera on the ship!! :scared1: so far it has not been turned in....i may have lost all 1100 pictures from the whole week!!
