Hi,
I will be celebrating my 51st birthday with a solo trip to WDW. Ohana is my favorite character meal and I would like to do one other as my trip will be 10 days long.
What is your favorite for a solo trip?

I did Chef Mickey's and Akershus solo last week. The characters were great at both restaurants though at Chef Mickey's I was seated away from the main part of the restaurant, so getting pictures with me in them was difficult until a nice family from New York was seated next to me. They were very helpful and happy to take pictures for me.
In both restaurants, the characters did not ignore me because I was dining solo and one even went so far as to see if there were other members of my party not present so she didn't miss any one at the table. I recommend them both, though Akershus was a bit easier for picture purposes because the princesses can easily ask one of the wait staff to take a picture.

Prime Time !!! If your auntie, cousin and uncle (servers/CM) found it is your bday and you are solo they will fuss at you too funny... I must have met every single family who came between my adr time till 2 hours later... yes they kept me for 2 hours!!! I even get to wear the Apron... but if you dont want to be bothered just tell at the door you are just as happy to be on the sidelines...
Biergarten... again if you like company they will add you to a bigger family/group to share tables...
Nine Dragons/Le Chefs... they'll sing happy bday in Chinese/French
Tutu... on a nice day a nice ala fresco meal... eat and people watch at the same time...
Fulton Crabs... love to have the water view and eat crab cakes and strawberry daquirri(with patron not rum please!!!)...
Yak and yeti during the 3PM parade... ask by the window... eat and again people watch!! that is if you dont get chatty Manny :lmao:

Ok - I did it. First I asked if there was Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast any time during my 10 day stay and guess what - There was. So I will be a solo woman celebrating her 51st birthday in Cindy's Castle - How cool is that?
also booked 1900 Park Faire - Cindy's Gala with Stepfamily
O'hana
Prime Time
Donald's Safari
Chef Mickey's
and 1900 Park Fair Breakfast
I love character meals - I go to early morning EMH then do late character breakfast as brunch and go to a non EMH park. It has worked well for me .

I've done all but 4 of the character meals (most of them solo). My favorites have been:
*Garden Grill
*Crystal Palace
*Chef Mickey's
*1900 Park Fare dinner (the Tremaines were hysterical!)
