i was told that too at one point, also 22nd may and 28th may lol!

think its safe to say that tomorrow should be right, as thats what they told me when i called last week (and when i went to the travel agent last friday and they called) and i also phoned from work this morning and they confirmed as far as they know on sale tomorrow. (ps i am not sad for checking lol, its just i am due to go on holiday the end of this week for 2 and a bit weeks and the person i am going away with is on hols for 2 weeks after, so if we dont sort it out this week, we wont be able to until after both our hols)

now am just wondering if they will extend the 40% off sale into the new booking period or something like 4 nights for 3 etc

For the dates I'm looking at in Jan the Cheyenne and Sequoia Lodge are up 24% on last years prices, New York up 21%. just checked the prices against 09 brochure.
That's a substantial increase but I suppose somebody has to pay for all the 40% off deals this year
On the plus side it's a lot lower than I'm used to paying, only paying for 1 adult rather than 3.
Not booking yet anyway made that mistake last year and then they introduced the extra 20% off 2 weeks after I booked.

ouch its high!

2 adults only 4 nights 5 days basic at sequia lodge 18-22nd jan £570
+1/2 board = £762
+ 1/2 board and montana room = £813

cant get prices for transport (eurostar)

its cheaper on disneylandparisdirect.com (clippers quay travel) so am considering them, nothing on expedia yet though for these dates for the hotels

:scared1: new prices seem steep but then I guess all the new prices do until they offer a discount ;) There does appear to be some 'free nights' around if you look at dates (I've only checked out the DLH though).

I'm still deliberating about whether to go at Christmas - I'd dearly love to see the Christmas season but it does mean taking DD1 out of school and I just don't feel I can. So I've looked at the week bet Christmas and New Year (26th - 30th) and there is no way we can afford £2988 for the 4 of us (one a baby!) :scared1: Unless some really good deal comes on board I doubt we'll be going then.

Still thinking about last week of Aug/early Sept though :thumbsup2

:faint::faint::faint:OMG!!! Just checked the prices for 3rd to 8th Jan 2010 (5 nts/6 days) and they are up 65% on the same time last year!

We paid £550 for 5nts/6days for the Santa Fe inc HB+ last year, but for next year is a wopping £911

I personally believe that it's a little too early to book as they may be using the summer prices as a guide (like the first edition brouchures for sun holidays) Although, from reading the shareholders quartely financial report, Eurodisney SCA have increased their debt due to the fall in part revenue so they may want to increase their package prices.

Yes I read that too and it mentioned UK revenue was down......wonder why?!
The prices may also be affected because last years sterling prices would have been set based on calculations on a considerably more favourable exchange rate. But whichever way you look at it the Disney hotels are too expensive for me....I'll be looking at Explorers which has quite a good rate on Expedia for early december, or some of the smaller hotels in Bussy St Georges etc. Since we have APs it doesn't really matter where we stay.

Yes it is 4 nights/5days, if the flights and transfers work as well as they did last year (but I cant see it) we managed to squeeze in a few hours the first night. We were delayed a couple of hours coming home both times, although not the end of the world it is not a good terminal to spend a few hours in.

I think they used to run an earlier flight but the late one is the only one now.

Another reason why it is more expensive this year is the season has been extended a few days, it dropped down to cheapy on the 4th last year but this year it has dropped gradually so paying more for the first few days.

Well, I just priced up for the same dates, duration, flights and onsite hotel - the price difference? Just £5!!!

There is one small difference though...this year we stayed at the DLH. yet the quote I just got was for the Cheyenne. It is £5 more expensive to stay at the Cheyenne than it was to stay at the DLH.

Was transportation free for under 12's this Jan - March? What has happened to the prices?

Just been playing with different dates with the new prices. It seems as though it is slightly cheaper to book the 13th Dec than it is to book on the 3rd Jan!!!

So leading up to the Christmas festivities, it is cheaper to go to DLP than it is after the festivities (when you only get 3 days of the Xmas celebrations)!! Don't know how they have worked out the prices.

I think they will have hardly any UK visitors at the beginning of Jan next year.

As other people have said, we may be paying for all of the discounted offers of recent.

Another reason why it is more expensive this year is the season has been extended a few days, it dropped down to cheapy on the 4th last year but this year it has dropped gradually so paying more for the first few days.

steve

The dates I was looking at were mid Jan and still double what I paid for this year.

i ended up booking last night, at least its sorted now, (all barring the eurostar though) so i can budget for it now i know its happening (paid for courtesy of a 0% credit card lol) so i can pay a bit off each month

have also tried going via quidco as well so hopefully will get cash back from it as well. booked for 4 nights from 18th january at SL for montana rooms cant wait!

Jan 09 flights had free under 12s...thats not on YET...I'm holding off booking because they MIGHT change this when they realise they won't have anyone staying with them in January!!!:rotfl:

£700 for flights and transfer...they are having a flippin laugh!!! Jan 09 flights and transfer were just over the £300 mark as my cheyenne booking was £400 odd.

I'm disgusted with the prices next year and would rather leave it.

I don't blame you Katrina, I'm not even tempted to book for next year after seeing them prices. You could go WDW for that money.

My DD flight was free for this Jan however a childs airflight doesn't cost over £300 to paris.:confused3

I think according to AF website leaving from edinburgh its roughly £62 one way.

Easyjet flying from Edinburgh has been coming up with better prices for this year than AF. AF prices you'd think you were buying a plane:scared1: We have always gone with AF in the past but this time I've gone for easyjet. Flights out are in the evening so staying off site for first night, but flights home are good times. We'll be able to stay in the parks til tea time on our last day.

It looks like we will be the only ones attending the first week in January. I will become the sole member of the DJP :sad1:

I was looking at easy jet prices but not for January and they are really good..!!! Scared to book with them though!!!:rotfl: We have always booked AF and 'know' what to do!!hehe!!

Im 99% positive they still have to take money off the flights when you book with a package!!!!!!! They won't get anyone booking that amount for a flight...its crazy....!!!!

My accomodation is coming up £600 odd.......add flights its £1,472!!!:scared1:
Its the same no matter what wk (accomodation is different though) up til March....they haven't added the under 12s fly free and I'm CERTAIN they will!!!pleassssssssssse!!lol

My kids have been free since 2006...I ain't gonna start paying for them now!!!!:lmao:

Other than that I better get on the EJ website soonish!!!lol

Me too, its shocking, I paid £340 last year which included flights and transfers and for next year the hotel package alone with no flights added costs more than that!! I just priced up VA flights for the same week to Orlando and costs a £100 less, and we don't need to pay extra for accommodation and will have AP so would be cheaper to go to WDW for a week for us at the moment. I really want to go to DLP again next year though.:sad2:

I was a bit nervous about easyjet too. Think I've watched too many of those airport programmes on TV. But when we fly AF the planes are always cityjet so not sure if we'll end up on the same plane anyway:confused3

My friend flew easyjet last Oct whilst we went AF and she had no problems. Just can't justify the extra pfice for same flights. Hope they don't charge for toilets though like ryanair cause DD loves the wee loo on planes:lmao:

yeah we will just have to sit tight and wait - they must realise the only reason most people go in January when its freezing, dark early and short park hours is because its so cheap.

Just for info purposes (and I've no affiliation with any airline), Cityjet is an Irish registered airline (established in 1994) that is now a fully owned subsidiary of Air France and has nothing to do with Easyjet.

I want to book for April 2010.

Last year I had booked on March where they had a -40% offer for some hotels.
Do you think there will be such an offer this year?
