Hello from Indiana!

I just wanted to introduce myself real quick!

My name is Erica, and my family is from Indiana. My husband and I have two daughters, ages 4 and 1. We're wanting to plan our *FIRST* WDW vacation for 2010 as a big celebration for our daughter's 5th birthday and "getting ready to start kindergarten" excitement.

I've never planned a vacation this big before, and to be honest I am totally lost! Good thing I have a year, right? :thumbsup2

Hi, Erica! We're from the Indy area, too...and are planning a trip in June of 2010! Trust me, you'll find TONS of information here. Just so you know...there's a DIS meet in Indy in September (the link is in my signature). Last year's meet was a blast, and this one is looking like it will be just as good! Where in Indiana are you from? We live in the Lousiville, KY area and spend lots of camping in Indiana. My wife's family lives in Madison, IN also in the Southern Part of the State.

Hi! I'm from Indiana, too, and my daughter is starting Kindergarten as well. We are waiting for next February to go when kids are in school (we home school). Like you, it's a big 5th birthday celebration for our daughter, just a little late (we have a few major life events going on and Feb 2011 is the soonest we can go).

Welcome! We are from Indiana too! That first trip to be planned is so great! My first trip was my honeymoon and I think I did zero research, lol, because DH had been a few times. But I became an obsessed fan anyway. There's tons of great info here and if you can take in a few of the podcasts that would be super - they are so informative!
