Left Luggage

Hi,

Only a week left till our first ever trip To DLRP!!
I am so excited :yay:

One quick question....

We are staying in the DLH and using the Express Luggage Service.
On our last day when we have checked out, can we return to our luggage to put somethings in, or once we have left them can we not access them?

If we can gain access does anyone know what time they get taken across to the train station?

Hi,

we used the express luggage service while at the Sequoia Lodge. After we checked out we discovered DIL had left their park tickets (2 adults and 2 kids) in her other handbag which was now safely packed in one of the suitcases! DS dashed back to the hotel with the luggage tags to see if he could access the suitcases. The guy at the baggage room was very helpful and sorted out his cases, so he managed to get the tickets out.

BUT they did tell him he was lucky as the collection van was late and the cases should have already left for the station, this was about 11am. He also said that if they had already gone to the station he wasn't sure if the staff there would let him have access to the bags - I'm presuming that they won't let you have your bags out until it's time to collect them for the return journey. I'm not even sure if the collection desk in the station is open all day, I have a feeling it only opens for a limited time when the direct train arrives and then again before departure:confused3.

I'm fairly sure it said somewhere on the paperwork (possibly on the little luggage tags they give you to put on the bags) that the bags must be dropped off at the hotel luggage room by 11am, so I assume that they collect from the hotels just after 11?
