Hello Families
I am looking at buying a flip video camera. I have a very fast little girl that does not like to sit still. Do any of you with fast kids have this camera? Or a similar size? Does it work OK in low light situations? We have a regular video camera but that can get very heavy so I was looking for a pocket size to go along with my point and shoot.
The problem is is my point and shoot has a video feature so I would like this video camera to have a better picture.
Any advice?? TIA:wizard:

I have the Flip Mino HD. The quality is superb.
I took video on at night around the campfire not expecting much from it
but I was very suprised by how it came out in low light.
I have not taken it to the parks yet, we will be going on June 18th.
but I am very interested in how it will perform there. There is only 60
minutes of recordable video on it then you have to upload to your computer to clear it out.
I bring it everywhere I go, it is so small, takes up no room. I videoed at the bowling alley and it came out perfect while my point and shoot always came out to yellow in the low light. I am very happy with but once again I have the HD don't know about the Ultra. OH and it recharges itself when you import the video to your computer it plugd right into your USB port.
I'm a fan of it.

I have the flip video, it's awesome, plus mine's the pretty pink one.
Here are a couple of disney videos I filmed with it so you can see quality (and you can never have too much disney!!)

CHECK OUT MY SIGGIE!! The TOT video down there was shot on a Flip. I love it. It's so easy to use!! At Dis I put a lanyard on it and wore it around my neck. This is my DH filming. I recommend Flip to everyone!!!

I have been thinking about one of these for a while too. I noticed that the 30 minute white ones are on Amazon for $59.99 is that a good price? Is is worth it to just get a 30 minute one?
Thanks

I got it for christmas and I really love it! So easy to use, and the videos actually stay clear(ish) all the way up to our 32" TV! Perfect for fun little videos of Disney or our cat!
