Marathon Maps 2010

The 2010 Marathon maps are up on Disney sports.....to all that did it last year, is there any difference???

I did the half this year, and it looks like the map is identical. I can't speak for the full marathon, but I did notice when I downloaded the PDFs, both of them had "09" in the document titles. My guess is that neither course has changed for 2010, but I'd be glad to hear from the experts.

I was excited and checked them out the other day also just to notice they were last years maps. Either they just put those up there until the 2010 is finalized or someone on their website has forgotten to rename last years as 10. While the first sounds unlikely this year's Nashville marathon had a course change about 4 weeks out even though the course was published.

I for one would love a new course for the half since I've done it but since my next try will be a full in 2011 I guess it doens't matter to me at least.

According to an email I got, the half couse has been changed so that there is much less congestion which allowed for more slots for the Goofy. And that's one of the reasons the Goofy was reopened.

I think the course is the same for the half but the increased capacity comes from instituting a wave start to spread out the crowding. The full course looks the same to me too.
