It's actually a plastic case, when you open it there is a regular bottle of Absolut inside.
Rob, I got it at the Walgreens on 535 by Vista Way if you need one! :thumbsup2

Yep. Here in Florida (at least) our drug stores sell everything from food to toys. The ones in the tourist areas even sell the same crap you find in a tacky gift shop...hideous beach towels, ugly snow globes, cheap flipflops, etc. So you can get your liquor fix there, too.

Our walgreens here sell pretty much everything too, BUT alcohol. Must be a state law here or something. Just found that odd. :rotfl:

I seem to remember hearing that Florida has a "blanket licence" for medications, beer, wine, and liquor (basically any "restricted" substance). I know some states have different licenses for each (my mother worked at a deli that served beer but not liquor, to sell LIqour would cost the restraunt several hundred more dollars in Virginia).

Hey ... I prefer Walgreens to CVS. CVS are just nasty.

I said the same thing too when we stopped in Vegas for my brother to get beer. I said "At a Walgreens?????" As we don't have alcohol in the Walgreen's or CVS here in Georgia.

The thing I miss about living in New Mexico is that they sell liquor in the supermarkets . . . and gas stations! :woohoo:

They tried that in MA. I voted against it. I was afraid that it would put the small liquor stores out of business if the big chain grocery stores and gas stations were able to sell alcohol... Luckily people voted the same way I did! :thumbsup2

Just be glad you don't live here in PA!! Want beer? Have to go to the beer distributor for a case or a bar for 6 packs. Want liquor? Have to go to the State Store. No supermarkets, no gas stations, no drug stores, nada!!

There seem to be a bunch more Walgreens opening up around here. All the older ones were kind of skanky, but the newer ones are really nice. :confused3 No liquor in our Walgreens, though. However, you can get beer at the gas stations.

I was wondering, do y'all have drive through liquor stores that also sell frozen alcoholic drinks? We have them here and I find that to be so strange.

See! It's so strange. You drive through this garage like you're at McDonalds or something anda place your order. The way they get around selling you alcoholic drinks when you're DRIVING, is putting a lid on the drink. :rotfl:

Walgreens in Illinois stopped selling alcohol years ago. I have yet to see a CVS sell it either.
We were up in Minnesota last year and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was dry and what was wet for alcohol terminology. I had to ask a local to explain what that meant.
