Hello Everyone! :)

I am looking for pictures of the outside and inside of the Flying Fish on the Boardwalk. Have you ever had an event there? Thanks.

I found some vacation photos of ours. They don't have a private room at Flying Fish, but there's a separate section that feels like a tent - maybe they'd put you there!

Thanks OP and Carrie. DF and I are thinking of making and ADR for after our ceremony at SBP.... so this is good info! I didn't know about the "tent" area! I'll make sure to ask for it.

Thanks Carrie! It is very beautiful in there. I've never been inside the Flying Fish...and the tent...beautiful! Is the Flying Fish open for lunch to the public? Would the meal still be a catered event? Thanks.

:)

Flying Fish is only open for dinner, and if you ate there at dinner you'd be ordering off the regular menu. I haven't heard of Disney Catering & Convention Services doing a private lunch there while it's closed (like they do at Narcoossee's or Citricos) but that doesn't mean it's not possible. I think you'd just have to check with your planner or with Disney Catering & Convention Services.

It's allllllll BoardWalk Inn. The whole BoardWalk area is also the resort - it's HUGE! :)

Oh, I thought there was the Boardwalk Inn and Boardwalk Villas. I would love to have the balcony overlooking the Boardwalk. I was trying to figure out which one it was to make reservations. Thanks!

Oh - sorry, yes! The white ones above Flying Fish are all regular hotel rooms. The ones in the colorful section down by Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance Hall, etc. are Villas.

If you were in the private tent section, could you still have your floral, favors etc set up in there? Would characters be allowed to visit?
Thanks

You can have any table decorations you want. So yes, you can have floral and favors in the private tent section. With an Escape the characters aren't allowed to come to Flying Fish so they will be at SBP. If it is a Wishes wedding, you can do what you want.

I am having the darndest time trying to figure out what type of table decorations I should do. Any suggestions or ideas? The theming is pretty strong in the Flying Fish but I don't want to have bare tables. :confused3
