Recent experiences with Universal Resort?

Anybody any feedback on Universal and their "new" policy of refusing GAC's and instead offering passes to a "quiet waiting room?"
Our trip is approaching quickly and I dont relish the prospect of a confrontation at guest services about this.......:)

What does GAC stand for???

GAC = Guest Assistance Card is from WDW and DLR which is a piece of Cardstock given to guests. The GAC lets the CM know right away that the guest is allowed to use the disabled entrance. There are stamps on the GAC and CMs know right away what is what thus saving the guest the need to repeated explain thing.
