Is anyone else still waiting for their Stimulus Check?

The stimulus checks for SSI were to start going out the first week of May. I'm still inpatiently waiting:happytv:. Is anyone else still waiting?

it is not a real check but should be a deposit into the account that you get SSI on.

I don't have direct deposit for my son's ssi check-I applied but it never went through.

Then you should have a card or thing that has the money deposited to it. Immediately contact SSI and tell them you want direct deposit. It is easier to track and during riots, floods and other catastrophes you money is safe in the bank. Either way no a check and deposited to the thing that you get your money from.

I actually came out of lurking to make this post. While I don't receive SSI, my roommate does, and he receives it via check. A lot of people still do not have the debit cards and direct deposits.

The checks are being mailed out all this month, so maybe your son is at the end of the list. The official site does state to call them if it does not arrive by June 4th. I hope you have no need to do so.

Well, there was supposed to be the link. I have under ten posts. If you go to the ssa website and click on the retirees section it has a great faq on all of the ssi related stimulus refunds.

My daughter got hers a couple weeks ago - a pleasant surprise, since I wasn't sure if she was going to get one. Good timing too - she "NEEEEEEDS" a new tv! :laughing:

I get regular SS. (Yes, I'm old enough.) Last week the day after my regular monthly SS bank deposit I received another deposit of $250 from SS.
