Well, I did it!

We changed our reservations from Port Orleans to a cabin at the Fort! Look out Fort Wilderness... 2 adults with 3 wild kids are on the way from July 4-11

I have been stalking this board for months. I really want to like camping, but I am not 100% sure yet. We used to camp when I was a kid/teen, but I am NOT a kid anymore.

I am excited and nervous all at the same time! I really want this to be the best trip to Disney, so I am on the prowl for some Fort fun!

Off to cruise the board some more! You guys are the best!

Wise choice....the cabins arent exactly "roughing it" by any means......you'll LOVE it!!

I have found the only people disappointed with the fort are those who want granite counters, flat screen tv's and room service. I think this is an excellent choice for 3 kids. We are cabin dwellers. I like nature but have done my time camping army style. We have been to the fort 4 times and still haven't done everything!!!!!! DS5 loves going!!!!

I agree, we've stayed at a lot of different places at WDW but the cabins are one of my favorites, you won't regret it.

I am sure that we will have fun, but I am still just a little nervous. I am less than a nature girl....LOL! I think I have been scarred from years of hot sweaty tent camping when I was a kid!

I have not been to FW yet either, but after stalking this board and really looking into all of the fun activites FW has to offer, I changed my reservations from Pop w/ free dining to the campgrounds. I have no doubt that we will enjoy every minute and I'm sure you will too. Have fun!:cool1:
