This thread is dedicated to those DVC and Disney nuts who dive a bit deeper into their Disney vacations than the average Joe. They are the people who notice things like the quality of silverware at the restaurant , the flushing power of the toilet, hidden Mickeys, and little nooks/crannies of the resort that others might miss. If you are one of those people, please contribute to the thread.

Things to post:
1) photos of places at the resort that others might miss
2) commentary on obscure elements of the resort
3) tips for making the most of a stay at this resort

1. Don't miss the omelettes at Boma breakfast buffet.

2. Here's a cool shot from inside the safari vehicle on the Wanyama Safari (last August):

We finish our first stay here as new DVC-ers this AM. Will have plenty of thoughts I am sure. LOVE the Savannah view though!

The Zebra dome desserts that used to only be available at Boma have been available for a while now at the Mara in the refrigerated cases. You can get your Zebra dome fix without the Boma pricetag! (We love Boma, but it's pricey for a family, especially since they took away the DVC discount). We only eat there occasionally now.
