Good place for 1 nite if we drive in early?

I should say, good CHEAP place?

We are booked on Sunday nite @ Universals new hotel, then at the Swan for 10 nites. (50% off entertainment & a great rate @ Swan).

What I need is the name of several good CHEAP hotels in case we manage to get in late on Saturday night. (I doubt this will happen but I want to be prepared- it's going to depend on just how much driving we can take in a day.)

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn Maingate West on a bargain rate but that was when they advertised here I believe and we had to book it in advance because of limited # of rooms.

Any other suggestions?

The Hampton Inn I Drive is running a $39.95 a night on their site www.hamptoninnidrive.com and the Hampton Inn across from USF is running a deal for $46 a night on www.hotelkingdom.com

Both hotels offer free breakfast and the Hampton guarantee.

I can't see the special rate on the International Drive location. Am I missing it somewhere? I check rates & it comes up as $59 for the nite I want but I have to book on the net. (don't dare-in case we can't make it all the way on Saturday).

We had a wonderful stay at the Comfort Inn LBV - if you book in advance, you should be able to get their $35.96 rate. It was very nice, good cheap breakfast buffet and great location - you can take the back way into WDW using Palm Parkway.
