used to have a favorite side of the ship, but its been so long since I cruised I cant recall which I preferred....must be getting old ;)

I was going to say the top side for the same reason. :rotfl:

Seriously, I don't think there is any reason to chose one side over the other on the DCL cruise.

Personally we like the port side. We like to watch them prepare Castaway Cay when we arrive and depart. We have done starboard at CC and didn't enjoy it as much. As long as I am on a cruise ship either side is fine with me.

We are on Deck 7 as we arrived and backed into Castaway.

However, I completely agree with you Kathy. I don't care what side as long as I'm on the ship.

I am sure its all mental ;) I think it just happened that cruises I enjoyed more I just happened to have a room on a certain side of the ship...not being on that side made the trip better ;) Tho I will say when I am port I prefer to have an ocean view rather then a view of the dock.
