Take a water resistant watch in your robe pocket! Making all that "Magic" makes you lose track of time, and you MAY not hear the 10 minute warning knock...especially if you are in the steam room portion of the bath! HAVE FUN!;)

Thanks for that bit of advice.
I have also heard the floor is quite hard and you should bring extra towles. . . . . if you get my drift. . . . . is that accurate??? Any other g-rated suggestions you might offer on that activity???;)

ABSOLUTELY bring lots of extra towels. They make great padding for the tile floors, and as Forrest Gump would say, that's all I'm going to say about that. Also, as you go into the steam room part while the steam is on, watch your feet! It comes out at floor level and can be very hot. The watch is good advice...I always wear my waterproof watch to keep us on track. ;)

Yes......take extra towels.......if you want to be "magical" on the floor. Also, be careful with the menthol scented body oil. It can get quite warm!
Have fun!!!!!!!:p

at least as far as we could tell, there was NO lock on the inside of the door on the Wonder. All the more reason to have your watch...perhaps with an alarm.;)
I second Barb's comment of "watch your feet"! DH and I could barely get in the steamroom because the floor was so hot! We ran the water in the center fountain and cooled it off often.

In the flyer that Disney gives about all the spa treatments, it talks about doing the suriel bath with a partner, but also stated that this can be done WITH A THIRD PERSON! Also, there are 3 showers in the steam room. Do you think 3 people really go?

LOL!!!
I remember the first time we did the surial bath. The spa attendant's instructions were "Make your own fun," and we sure did! Chat with the attendants if you get a chance...they can tell some surial stories that would curl your hair. Definitely not fit for a "family" message board.

Now I wished I'd made eye contact with our spa lady, and actually spoken to her! OK, in 2003, I WILL talk to them and get a good story!

There was no working lock on the Wonder when we went and the attendant would enter unannounced to check on problems with the steam they has been experiencing.

I guess the bathers were more than a little surprised! I'm sure the spa lady has probably seen it all.......litterally!;)

Did the attendant really come in without knocking? I would be quite upset if that happens to FH and I when we go there on our honeymoon......

Did the attendant really come in without knocking? I would be quite upset if that happens to FH and I when we go there on our honeymoon...... We were on the Wonder (which I'll third, DIDN'T have any locks), but the attendants never bothered us even though she said the steam had been periodically been giving them problems. Even if they'd come in, it probably wouldn't have bothered us too much and we might not have noticed anyway ;) We spent most of our time in the steam room although we did come out to cool off in shower in the main room every now and then.
So you'll be going on your honeymoon AND doing the Surial Bath? Wow! That'll be setting the bar pretty high! ;) You guys might want to book that thing a couple of times if you can.

Yes, actually twice. However, I do not think that is commonplace.
