View Full Version : What is the difference between WP Express and Cafe?

Are they both on the DDQS? The DDP brochure list WP Express in both the Marketplace as well as West Side. Are the menus the same? On WDWInfo.com it says they are, yet at Allearsnet.com they list WP CAFE in the West Side and the prices are quite different. Also, since the menu list main courses and not combo platters, does that mean that you can select and entree, side, dessert and drink? Please explain ! Thanks!

The difference - aside from location - is that Wolfgang Puck Express is counter service (QS), and Wolfgang Puck Cafe is sit-down/menu service (TS).

Both participate in the various Dining Plans - WPE costs a CS credit, WPC costs a TS credit; Wolfgang Puck Upstairs and Wolfgang Puck Express West Side don't participate (at least the former doesn't).

So, the prices are different because they're entirely different styles of restaurants.

No matter which venue you choose, side items aren't included. If there is a separate menu listing/charge for the item - vs. it being part of the main course's description - it's just plain not included. It would have to be purchased out of pocket.

eta: I just looked at the DIS menu - it's mislabeled. Drop "Express" from the Wolfgang Puck Cafe heading.

The Disney Dining Quick Service Brochure says Wolfgang Puck Express MarketPlace and West Side are participating QS places. Is the "Cafe" considered "Express" or is it different? I have never been to either one and I can't even think of where they are located despite being to DTD too many times to count. I have looked at maps - so I know technically "where" they are - I just don't recall seeing them. We just don't usually eat at DTD.

The WP in the West Side actually has 3 eateries..one is counter service, then there's the sit down cafe (TS) and the Upstairs(TS)
