My best friend's doctor called her at 8:30 last night to let her know that her biopsies came back good - - - NO CANCER!! :cool1:

To me, that is an excellent, caring doctor!! She told my friend that she was going out-of-town for the weekend and had just gotten the results and wanted to call her before she left town.

She is the same surgeon that did the out-patient procedure that DH had last month and we really liked her then!

Funny story - - -

DH hates towing our boat. He is so nervous whenever we tow it. We're going on vacation in two and a half weeks and towing the boat 150 miles and he's already worrying about having to tow it! He really has no problems and can back it up fine, but he just gets so nervous!

So, yesterday some guys came by and wanted to know if we wanted to sell an old riding mower we had. He said yes and they came over this morning (still here) to get it. Pulled up in a full-size pick-up with a big utility trailer on the back. Perfectly backed that trailer up, no problems. It was like it was second nature to the driver ---- who, by the way, is a 17 year old who goes to school with our boys! :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Here this kid thinks nothing of towing and DH is a basket-case whenever he has to!

...my DH and I are Eucharistic ministers at our parish and, since my DH went to upstate NY to fix the tub (hence, unable to make this week's mass), it was really important that I was present at the 7:30 AM mass. Well, I was in a really sound sleep, when I literally woke up, almost JUMPING out of bed. I glanced at the clock and saw that it was 6:54AM!! So, I rushed like a maniac, washing up, brushing my teeth, getting dressed and hurrying out the door without waking up the rest of the family. As I pulled up to the church, I glanced in the parking lot and there was NOT ANOTHER CAR IN SIGHT! :scratchin :confused3 I looked down at my car clock and it said 6:20AM, not 7:20!! Apparently, I looked at my clock at home and it really read 5:54AM..... !!!

I AM AN IDIOT!

We go back the 2nd week in August and are done by the 3rd week in May-I kinda wish they would go back after Labor Day(like they did in Wis)-but this has been working so far so good!:thumbsup2
