I feel like I am all alone:(
Anyone else going on the Western my birthday week?
I'd love to find a pal for our nine year old son. Ann

Ann, we're on your cruise. :D I have a daughter that will be nine on this cruise as well, don't worry about your son -- there will be PLENTY of kids his age on the cruise. We always go that time of year and your son will meet lots of kids.

What a great way to celebrate your birthday! :D

We did the Eastern this same week last year and there were quite a few kids - not as many as when we went in April though. I would love for my son to make a buddy ahead of time as being and only child his approaching skills are not the best. I will put him in the club for a bit the first night so hopefully he can hook up with someone.

Ann-

How did you find the crowds overall? DH, DD and I are going next year on the same cruise (then 12/6). Last year we were at WDW during the same week and found it empty! Do the cruises follow suit?

Thanks!
Erin:D

The ship was less full in December than it had been April vacation week eight months earlier. It was by no means empty but I did notice less people. Although, even in April you would never have known that there were 3000 people on board! December is my favorite time to go, the decorations are beautiful, it is always cold here at that time and of course celebrating my birthday far away is also a plus!

Ann,
I just found your message. We are booking on the Western for Dec 7th as well. It will be myself, dh and ds who is 12 and an only child as well. I am sure my son would love to hang out with your son if he is into basketball and video games. LOL

My fiance and I will be going on the 12/7 cruise and we are so excited. I have been on three other cruises. Two of them were Disney 3-days. My fiance really likes to be pampered. I think she is a little worried about taking a cruise though. She is worried she won't have a good time. I can't wait for her to experience this. I have known here for 15 years during which we were just friends. We have been dating for a little over a year now. I know her so well and I just know she is going to be so spoiled.

I can't wait! We had the best time last year. (actually twice last year- too bad we can't keep going every eight months!)
