I just got back from a week spent in the world and while I was down, I developed an affinity for the Vinylmation figures. The week was spent searching shops for all the different ones I could find and getting close to broke in the process. But now the Series 2 has been released as of today. I can't find a way to buy them online, so does anyone know if the shops will do phone orders? Or any other ideas short of overspending on e-bay? Thanks for any advice...

I just saw these things ąt World of Disney NYC this week. I don't get the fascination.

However, I like how the series 2 EPCOT figure has the classic symbols from the original attractions.

I have 4 from my trip in feb. and wish I could get more. I wanted the Kermit so bad but didn't get one. I do like the Figment and the Monorail one's that I did get though.

Did any of you try e-bay? Maybe I'm out of touch, but I have had good luck finding rare items there.

I guess I'm with you Challer. I saw them all over the place but just couldn't connect with them. They look like a boxing glove with a face. :)

I couldn't connect with them either. I honestly don't understand the fascination, but neither do people with pin trading, something I love.

I am sure you can call WDW mail order and they'd ship them to you.

If anyone has done this, please share your results, as I would like to know. Thanks.

At World of Disney NYC, they also sell blank, white ones. I guess they are encouraging "make you own."

I bought one of these (in the 9" version) for my partner, because he likes things "simple and plain". He opened it and liked it. Then he googled them and was upset I didn't get him one with a design on it. Sometimes you can't win.

My wife picked up the blank white 9" figure and had characters sign it. It turned out really cool, with about 30 signatures gracing the entire figures front, sides, and behind in black Sharpie. Especially cool is the "Donald Duck #1" signature on the center of the butt.
