School vacation in RI is a week later next year. This April we were there from April 8-18th and boy was it crowded. So I am hoping for a great deal and a little less of a crowd... oh and the great weather too. Not asking for too much:rotfl:

Oddly enough my kids have spring break the last week in April - so we're hoping to go that week, probably staying at POP again, we leave for our next trip in 3 wks so if we like POP we'll probably stay there again. I'm hoping they come out with another buy 4 nights get 3 free...I looked up the deal from last year and that is what they had. Is Disney pretty consistent with their offers?

Well, my husband has okayed 10nights next April! YEAH, gotta love a man who loves his Disney. Our oldest(a whopping 11yr's old) has her spring break April 9th-26th; so we'll take off from MD on the 10 and arrive in sunny WDW on the 11th and check out on the 21st of April. I'm thinking we'll go back to CSR - we've had some good times there and they have everything we need. Wonderful newly renovated rooms, great bus service, beautiful grounds, and awesome pools. So if it ain't broke why try to fix it?

My husband and I will be (AKL CL) there the third week in April (just during the week). This was our 10th anniversary trip moved from November. That would stink except luckily I am going in two months as well with my mother.

Holy beans - I convinced my husband to go AGAIN to WDW :) My kids are pushing for it (can we stay at the hotel with the volcano pool???) but husband has added a request for a hot tub so probably not the Poly again. I'm thinking WL in a junior suite/deluxe room for 4/24-5/1. In fact, hubby said he would ONLY go that week since the weather has been nice the past few years during that time and it is after spring break/easter and before kids get out of school. Hi everyone. Just got back from a 2 week trip - 1 week on DCL and 1 week at the world at the Boardwalk. Right before that my DD's recieved notice that they were invited to dance in Disney with the Dance troupe in April. We are DVC but with the dance you have to stay where they go and it will be at ALL Star Movies. We will be there from 4/16 - 4/25 with 70+ girls and their families.

We just love Disney and cannot wait to return. :banana: Already have the new count down going!!

The airfares for SW come out on Oct 13th. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it won't be too high. RI will actually be having April vacation at the same time as MA.

April 25-May 4 at CSR. Our second trip with our DD(3.5). We had such a great time in May had to go again. Me and my husband both agreed it was the best vacation we had ever had. We love the CSR and we glad to stay again with a 35% pin I got thru email. Our school vacation actually falls a week later so I am hoping for even less crowds, but we shall see. You just can't beat the weather and after having a really bad summer with rain, rain and rain I am really looking forward to 10 days of Florida sun again. You won't be disappointed in FQ. I too found the small size just perfect. We were there during one of the busiest seasons because of Easter week and when we got back to our resort it was just so peaceful and beautiful. Oh I wish I was there now.:hug:

My husband has another conference, so we are taking our daughter for her very first trip! She will be 9 months at the time. So, they are not 1st cousins but are together every day even work at the same place! So, it should be a fun trip! I hope the WL is a good choice for DD 16, as she uses a wheelchair full time. Last April when we went over Easter week (4/9-4/18)it was crazy busy the whole week. Busier than I have ever seen. MK was closed a few days due to capacity.:confused: Since Easter coincided with our school vacation we had no choice but to go that week. But if you do go be prepared for the crowds.

However, on Easter Sunday we went to AK and that park was not crowded compared to the others.

We were supposed to be there in 13 days, but I recently had surgery to have neurostimulators implanted and can't travel until April. :sad1:

I just made our reservations for the airport transportation from home to the airport. They plan to pick us up at 5:30AM!! OMG....that will be a crazy morning with 2 boys. It's going to be so hard to get them to sleep the night before.

I still need to finalize my car rental but I do have one reserved already. Just want to make sure I can't find something cheaper.

I love the planning part. I was thinking about putting together surprise bags for the boys on the airplane...they are ages 10, 8 and 6. Any ideas?

Also, for those going down during Easter, what are your plans for Easter? Any egg hunts? What about dinner?

No, it's not that bad. We've gone before and yes it's crowded but not unbearable.

But, even more than at other times of the year, you'll cover A LOT more attractions if you get to the parks early and do some of the big ones. Then you can slow down, or go back to the hotel for a break, as the crowds build up.

The weather is usually excellent at that time of the year, so the afternoon pool breaks are great.

I found out this morning on another post that the blackout periods for the room discounts and gift card offers have been lifted for the weeks before and after Easter in April. I went into the WDW site to check, it still lists them as blackout dates, but if you put your dates in , the offers will come up !:banana:

I already had a free QS dining pin for my package from 4/2-4/8, but I was able to save about $45 on my one night room only at Pop tacked on for 4/9. There weren't any discounts previously for that time !:dance3:

We'll be at the Poly April 1-7. Two weeks from today!!!!!
My kids got postcards from the characters yesterday and got
out their suitcases to start packing - they are a little excited I'd say!

We are all counting down the days! I love being able to say, we are going next month!:love: We are 38 days out! What a wonderful place to celebrate our b-days! DS will be 11 on the 26 and I will be 40 on the 27!:scared1: It will be the best 11 days!:thumbsup2

We will be at Pop April 27-May 4 with our 2 DD's 5 and 9..and they have no idea!!! It's going to be a crazy morning, wake up at 4 am to surprise them with balloons and banners!! Then off to the airport for a 6:30 flight!!

One day closer!!! I had a horrible nightmare last night that everything that could have gone wrong on day 1 did. Forgot to bring camera, my Disney rewards card ripped in half, tried to get a new one but line was so long that I missed my reservation at Chef Mickey's haha...I sure hope it doesn't go like that LOL I'm sure it'll be awesome though!!!
