Cruise 2.0 - Who Will Have The Same Room?

We were really happy with our room assignment, so we are going to have the same stateroom again. Anyone else do this?

We did! We didn't even ask for it...the onboard booking agent just assigned us to the same cabin! Which works out pretty well as DH really enjoyed the cabin and the location...:thumbsup2

We went down a category so we won't be in the same room. We booked Cat 5 for PCC 1.0 because there was only a small price difference between 6 and 5. But for PCC 2.0 the price difference was something like $150 so we decided we would be just as happy one deck lower.

FWIW, 7068 was a good room. Mid-way between stair/elevator wells so there wasn't much foot traffic.

I booked a cat 10 this time. I liked Anna's room so much that I booked it. I then felt horrible because maybe she would want it. I'm sorry Anna. :guilty: This cabin is on deck 2 aft. I really like the aft area of most cruise ships I have been on so far. My cabin on this past cruise was all the way forward. I did not care for that as much.

We were on our verandah whenever we were in our room. When we left port, I sat on one of the chairs, looking at the water and thinking "I'M REALLY ON VACATION NOW!" :yay::banana:

But, we decided we really wanted a verandah again, so a Cat 6 is where we'll be this time!

On my one and only Disney cruise so far, I shared a handicap-accessible cat. 6 cabin at the back of deck 6 with my mom. It was a huge cabin and balcony, but it was poorly located for someone in a wheelchair. If I actually go on this cruise, it will be in whatever cabin category is cheapest! I prefer midship or aft to forward cabins.

Thanks guys. I sent her an email before I left work. Hopefully she has an answer for me when I get to work. DCL must have entered wrong because I gave the paper to Tracy to turn in for me. So I'm assuming I filled the paper out correctly.

I'm glad your checking with Tracy Anna. She had mentioned on the boards that she had emailed confirmations to all that had signed up for the PCC while on board. I think this was before she went on her Tortola cruise. Better to have the peace of mind knowing that everything is in order.

A few DIS spouses went on 1.0, that hadn't listened to the podcast or were too into Disney. But I think they had a good time. They smiled for all the photos and were out and about for activities. If he wouldn't enjoy going to the live podcast taping or an event such as this, he doesn't have to. You'll be having fun with a few hundred of the greatest friends you haven't met yet, and he can sit on Deck 10 and watch the sea go by.

I will be bringing my DD who will be 11. I was originally bringing my DS but since he will be starting college in the fall and looking at the schedule for this year it looks like he won't be able to attend due to exams during cruise time next year.
I'm still trying to get my DH to come with but he keeps saying no. And there is no way that my other DD who is the middle child will come with she says she's "tired" of Disney.
Can't wait to meet everyone! I know it's going to be a blast!!! :)

We asked to be in the same cabin as our trip aboard the Magic back in November 07. I really did like the location and although it's only a Cat 9, it really suited us quite well and was very affordable for this cruise. At this point, I don't care if I sleep on deck, I just want to sail with y'all!

Just switched cabins...we downgraded from a Cat 6 to a Cat 10 secret porthole cabin, 5520 :banana: So by downgrading I was able to book the kids sail free and i'm getting both cruises for what i would've payed for just this one :goodvibes
