Is it worth it to upgrade to a club room? or should I just stay at the garden room? Any information would help, thanks

If you go over to the US/IOA board, you'll find tons of posts about the various room options at the HRH.

Chad -- in my HUMBLEST of opinions I would say a resounding NO...

I've done both. The only difference I found is the access to the club floors and the club room, which offers treats and drinks that I would say would be equivalent to a 10 dollar trip to the convenience store.

The difference in the price of the rooms is by no means worth the "amenities". If you have money to throw away have at it, but if you don't the best perk the HR offers is the Universal Express and the ambience of the hotel itself, which you can get for the price of a garden room.

We're experienced WDW travelers- stayed and paid for moderates and deluxes and were totally wowed by the Club Room we had at the Hard Rock Hotel at Easter this year. It beat out our savannah room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge by a mile and cost us much less.

In addition, we got our Club Room at a great discount, at peak season (Easter week) from Hotelkingdom.com.

Since we had 2 teenage boys with us the great goodies put out for breakfast (cereal, bagels, danish etc.) filled them up and the water and sodas available all day were useful. The evening snacks of crackers, cheese, chicken wings, etc. were excellent also plus cookies and milk were put out at night. The room was spacious, bright and the beds very comfy. We rate the this hotel at the top, close to the Polynesian in room size and super convenient to the Universal Parks.

The concierge helped us when a park clerk inadvertently left a purchase out of my bag the night before we left. In fact, she sent someone over to that park to pick the item up so we would have it before we left the next morning.

And remember the Club Rooms are on the top floor which I always appreciate more!
