We just got back from our first trip to Disney World!!! What a wonderful time we had!! It was everything that I hoped it would be and more:lovestruc We are already planning to go back in September, 2010!!!!

If you would like to check out my pre trip report, you can see who we all are and what fun we had preparing and planning for our first trip! If not, you will meet us here through pics anyway.

I am Pam, my dh is Manny, and there is my 12 yr old stepson, Anthony, and mine and Manny's daughters, Emily, 9, Lizzie, 7, and Samantha 5!!!!!

We were in Disney from May 12-19th and we had two preferred rooms at the All Star movies. We requested the Toy Story building and got it, we love Toy Story!!

We were on the Quick Service Dining Plan and loved every minute of it. There was so much food, sometimes we would look at each other like "oh my god, we have to eat again" We had 36 snack credits and 7 meals left the day we checked out, luckily we didn't leave until 5:45pm, so we tried to use up as much as we could of them!!! We still left with 1 meal and 16 snacks left over, we could not bear to even grab any more to go:laughing: It was great, it included 2 meals a day for each person, 2 snack credits a day for each person and a refillable mug for each person. LOVED the mugs!!!!!!!!

So let's start off on May 11th. It was a very busy day making sure everything was in the suitcases and everything was bought. It took me until like 5pm to finally find our misting fans but my Dad ended up finding them.:yay: When everything was finally triple checked and we were all set and ready to go to bed I gave the kids their Autograph books that I made them and the pins and lanyards that I bought! They were surprised and very excited.

Here we are just getting ready on May 12th, we are all sleepy and ready to go!! Below are the pics of the kids looking out the porch window when the Limo was pulling up. This was a surprise, they did not know about the Limo, they thought Grampy was bringing us to the airport!

The kids loved the Limo ride, they were so excited the whole time. It was about a 20 minute ride to the airport!!!

I'll continue in a new post, not sure how long they are able to get?

We arrived at the airport and went to the Southwest terminal to check our bags and get a boarding pass for Anthony, because when I checked in online his did not print. For anyone that followed my PTR, you know this because I was very upset and in a panic. It all went smooth, he did get a C boarding pass, but they said that was no problem at all, he could just get on with us in A!!! They were very friendly and nice!!!! We arrived about an hour before the terminal was even open, but we wanted to be early and prepared. We were!!!! The kids just had fun waiting!!

Here we are waiting for the plane, we went to get some drinks and pastries for breakfast.

The plane ride went smooth, Emily, Sam, and Anthony's ears hurt, but not too severe. (That would be on the ride home:scared1:)

And we arrive at the Orlando International airport

Oh, we were in Heaven when we got off the bus and walked down the red carpet and into the lobby. Oh, it was awesome. Manny took the kids and went to sit down and watch TV, the kids thought the TV with the chairs out was great. Lizzie stuck with me to check in. My little buddy.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512BE.jpg

We checked in online a few days before. Would that save time? Would that mean our rooms would be ready when we checked in at 10:30 am?

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512BF.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512BG.jpg

Oh yes, our rooms were ready and we were in them by 11:00am:banana: I was thrilled, I so wanted to put these bags down and change into some shorts and tank tops, as it was 90 degrees.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512BH.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512BI.jpg

So we checked out the room and changed up and went to the food court for our first Disney Luch.

So we went back up to our rooms and changed into our bathing suits, it was time for our first swim of the week. We left 50 degrees and were dropped into 90, that pool was callling us!!!

And then we went back into the "big Mickey pool" for a little while longer and that is where I will leave you for now.

I know my dis friends have been waiting for my updates, so I didn't want to make you wait until tomorrow, had to get this in before I go to work:headache: Back to reality!!

Looks great a great arrival to WDW. How did the Online Check-IN go. Was it a long line? Did you get your connecting rooms? I'm still nervous about trying it in June.

PS - I think your count-down timer is broken.

I loved the look on your kids faces when they saw the limo.....I am so glade check in with southwest went ok, online checking was good to you AND your rooms were ready....you guys were on a roll....pixie dust was all around you....you just gotta love it.....

I hope all your memories of your trip help you make it through your shift tonight.....just think the planning starts all over again.....and that is always fun and stressful at times but fun O and it's fun and a more fun :rotfl2:

One of the things my family does ( great idea I got from one of fellow Diser MeMom trip report) is to plan small family dinners with a Disney theme.....One night we did a MK theme so we had "mom's" Casy's hotdogs with all the sides and I tried to make my own version of a dole whip, and freshed baked cookie and ice cream sandwhiches.....put on your favorite Disney movie and/or break out the Disney photos and have fun planning for future trips.....brings back a little magic everytime.

The possibilities are endless.....I think I may try Earl of Sandwich next....

Glad you're all enjoying my report, I still gotta get the link in my signature!!!

Online check in was awesome, it only took a few minutes, and we did get our connecting rooms, because we were a mother, father and children they are guaranteed. It's only a maybe if you have more than two adults in your group. It went great.

Back to work last night. I had Disney songs running through my head all night, and all I thought about was being with Manny and the kids:sad1: Everyone was happy to see me and welcomed me back, and I smiled and said, Thank You!

I promise to have another update up soon, I have to upload some more pictures. I'll be putting up our first night in the Magic Kingdom:cloud9: Oh, when we first walked in and saw the castle and smelled all of the food:goodvibes It was great!!

I have been so busy with laundry, food shopping, walmart trips for everything we didn't have in the house. My nephew's birthday is sunday and we have a big parade on monday, that goes right by our house, so we all have a big thing that day, plus my birthday is always celebrated that day. It is on wed May 27th, but i'll be work:headache:

So as soon as I get a chance I will update!!!!!

See, I have heard many contradict this, but it worked for you, so I'll hope to believe it will work for us too. I will make sure I do a room request though 4 days previous.. JUST incase.

Can't wait to hear more.

I'm in!

We were at the same hotel, in the same area, at the same time!!!! I don't ever remember seeing your kids though. We stayed in Buzz, room 842 from May 10th-17th! I was looking through your pool pictures closely to see if I saw my son, haha! He is easy to pick out as he had shark floaties, but didn't see him!

Work sucked last night. I had Disney songs running through my head all night, and all I thought about was being with Manny and the kids:sad1: Everyone was happy to see me and welcomed me back, and I put a fake smile on and said, Thank You!

That "bubble" you are in with the family at WDW is the hardest thing for me to get used to when coming back to the real world. I'm never quite ready to come out of that little cocoon!

Good thing for you is you have another trip in the works! Happy Planning! :goodvibes

PrincessbrideJo, that is too funny!!! I don't remember seeing anyone with shark floaties, so maybe we just weren't in the same places at the same time:goodvibes That is funny!!! Our rooms were right behind Woody, so we must have been right across from each other!!

Ok, i'm gonna finish up our first day in Disney World!!!

Ok, so we left off at the pool!! We then went up to the room to get changed up and to grab our Autograph books

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512CE.jpg

And then headed down to the bus stop

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512CJ.jpg

And we finally made it to the Magic Kingdom and saw that lovely castle.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512CK.jpg

The Haunted Mansion was our first ride!!!!!!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512CM.jpg

Then we headed over and went to see Mickey's Philharmagic, this show was awesome. The kids loved it. I rate it the best 3D show in Disney. The kids loved how the pie smelled like a pie.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512CN.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512CO.jpg

I had a bunch of these pics, I thought they would have come out a little better, so i'll spare you with only 1.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512CP.jpg

Next we headed over and checked out Minnie Mouse's House. Too Cute.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512CX.jpg

Our first of many pressed pennies. We had a lot of fun with this, next year I am going to get a book and collect them and do much more.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512CZ.jpg

We then rode It's a small world (5 minute wait, couldn't pass that up) I do love this ride though.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512DC.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512DD.jpg

We were then going to head over the little bridge and eat dinner at Pecos Bills. Well it started pouring, thundering and lightening....

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512DH.jpg

So instead we decided to run back to the bus stop and get back to the hotel. I believe this was the best thing that could have happened, as we were extremely tired. remember we got up at 3:30am this morning. Sam fell asleep on the bus to the MK, I kept waking her up saying "we're almost there, stay awake"

So we get back to the hotel

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512DI.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0512DK.jpg

And it was really pouring, we didn't even want to run to the food court, so we ordered Pizza to the rooms, this night was so nice.

we were in Epcot on Saturday!! Oh, how I wish I could go back to that day.......Ok, back to reality!!!

I am enjoying your TR so far! I subbed to your PTR and enjoyed reading your plans as I too was planning our trip!

We were also at Epcot last Saturday... :flower3: I would LOVE to be back there again! That was our last day at WDW. The last thing I did at about 4PM was use up our last 5 snack crdts on churros from the Cantina in Mexico while my DH took as many last minute pics as possible!

I think we may have been at MK on the same day as well (5/12) but we left the park at about 4PM before the rain for ADR's at Ohana.

Anyway, I am so looking forward to the rest of your TR. Your kids are so adorable! I hope to do a TR, eventually when things slow down and I get caught up.... as if that is ever going to happen.... :lmao:

I'm tagging the page....so far the pics are great! Like how you made the big table for eating! Too cute. The kids look so tickled to be there! :goodvibes

Thanks, that was a nice relaxing night!!!

Did you guys stay at the Family Suites? I do not recall that large of a table in the regular rooms, if so - that is GREAT!!!

Still enjoying the report... :) Love all the pics.

Nope we had 2 connecting rooms at the Movies, so we just brought one table into the other room and made a "family size" table that night!!!

Ok, i'm uploaded about half of our pics from this day, so i'll start!!

We slept in a little bit this morning because if you remember the morning before we were all up at 3:00am waiting for the Limo!!! We were so tired!! I didn't really sleep too late, I was up by 8 and laying everyone's clothes out, I was so excited for this day. Who am I kidding, I was excited for everyday:goodvibes
So once everyone was up and dressed we went down to the foodcourt and filled up our mugs and every morning we would use snack credits for things like toasted bagels with cream cheese, muffins , danish etc... The kids loved it. And everything was so big, just a snack credit was a big enough breakfast!!

We went out to the bus stop and we were off to Animal Kingdom, I knew the kids were gonna love this park.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AD.jpg

Ok, so we got off the bus and hit the gift shop that was right outside of the park, we didn't even get in the park yet:rotfl: And.....It was all Manny!!! Sam bought a pair of Minnie Mouse ears , Anthony bought these funky sunglassed which he collected in many colors over the course of the week, you will see plenty of them in this trip report, he's too funny. And Emily did her first pin trade, she was so excited. She traded a Mickey Pin for a Dale pin. She thought the pin trading was great:thumbsup2

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AE.jpg

Here's the crew, ready to take on AK with Minnie ears and funky sunglasses!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AG.jpg

Oh, as soon as we walked into the park we were amazed at everything! It was all so pretty. And it was Hot this day and I heard that AK always felt hotter, but to us it felt cooler, there was always a breeze and almost everywhere was shaded.

This is the first awesome guy we came across, it's a giant anteater

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AJ.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AI.jpg

Our first sight of the Tree!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AK.jpg

And then we had our first character sighting of the trip. Me and the girls were off the wall excited!!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AL.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AM.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AP.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AQ.jpg

Oh, my god, Lilo and Stitch were so funny!!! I have a video clip of Stitch throwing Emily's book on the ground, then Lilo grabbed the other book from him so he wouldn't throw that one, then he wouldn't give back the pen. The kids got quite a kick out of him. Oh and then he was pointing to Anthony's glasses "asking" what the point of them was!

Next we ran up to the Safari because this was supposed to be our Dismeet. A few were there but they were already hot and pooped. It was our first full day in Disney so we were rearing to go. So we said hello and goodbye and grabbed us some Safari fastpasses.

We then headed back to camp Minnie Mickey, the girls were really waiting for some more character autographs.

On the way there we stopped and let Emily buy Chip and Dale, they are her new favorites.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AZ.jpg

Then we got in line to meet chip and dale

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AX.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513AY.jpg

My god, Anthony is getting so big.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513BC.jpg

Ok, so while in line there was a man walking around playing the guitar. He stopped at us and asked Emily what her name was. He then asked if we wanted to hear a song. So I put my camera on video cause I just knew something good was coming. And I was right. He sung a song about Emily on her famous Disney World Trip with her Family and how she had Chip and Dale and sunglasses on her head. It was the most memorable experience from our trip. I have tears in my eyes just thinking about it. I constantly have that song that he sung for Emily in my head. It was so wonderful. I'm going to try to upload it, not sure how long it will take. But maybe i'll get it up here tonight, it's definitely GREAT!!!

After Chip and Dale we just went from line to line and saw our other friends.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513BE.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513BG.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513BH.jpg

Ok, another wonderful story here at Minnie Mouse. The CM you see pictured here with Manny was so awesome. Her name was Judith. She was in the line when we were visiting Goofy and she was asking the girls why Daddy wasn't going near the characters. She said " I think he's scared" So she followed us to Minnie and after the girls took their pic

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513BJ.jpg

and got her autograph she went up and told Minnie about Manny. Soooo Minnie went after him and she kept going back after him and kissing him. Someone in line was saying that he was going to tell Mickey! We were cracking up, it was so much fun.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513BK.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513BL.jpg

And then when Anthony was starting to walk away she shook her finger at him, like "oh no you don't" and went to kiss him.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513BN.jpg

Let me continue in another post....

I just LOVE AK...I agree that it is an absolutely beautiful park!

We saw that guitar guy in Camp Minnie Mickey too! He was really good. How cool that he did a song for Emily!

Love the pics of Minnie with Manny....classic! :rotfl:

After that we hopped on the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch, I was almost going to skip it, but i'm so glad I didn't.

We took a nice relaxing train ride there

We all took a bathroom stop and this is how the walls were decorated, and Lizzie found an otter!! Lizzie LOVES otters. She has a beanie Otter that she's had since she was 2 and she just simply is in love with otters. And she was so excited to take this pic.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513DS.jpg

I already printed it out and she's going to pick a frame out for it, and she wants to put it in her room.

So when we went inside to the Conservation Station it was ice cold AC, it felt so good. We could see alot of animals through the glass and there was a lady giving a little speech on tarantulas which she had, it was so gross, but the kids liked it of course. And then we saw all of these characters hanging around, there were no lines. It was awesome.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513DW.jpg

Anthony was just hanging out with this tiger while we waited for Pocahontas, she took a little break.

Then we went back out to the train and rode the relaxing ride back to where the Safari was.....and this is where I will leave you for now, gotta upload more pics.

Next we go to the Tree of Life and Dinoland.......And DO ANY OF MY CRAZY CHILDREN ASK ME TO RIDE EXPEDITION EVEREST WITH THEM!!!

Now, this night was EMH. So the park closed at 5pm and EMH was from 5-8....That was so awesome!!!!

So, i'm not sure if I posted any of the rides we went on at the start of this TR. If not, can anyone guess? Did my kids want to ride this beastly mountain, and if so, who was it? Take a guess. And not you Nicole, you already know:rotfl:

Did you guys go to Festival of The Lion King while at Camp Minnie Mickey? That's a must see on our list!

We also love Pizzafari. It's so fun looking for all the hidden Mickeys on the wall murals. It also helps that the food is quite tasty.

Glad you didn't skip Rafiki's Planet Watch. We always take the train over. Did you take pictures of the murals. If you did, go back and look at them closely. There are tons of hidden Mickeys there.

I'm loving the TR! The Animal Kingdom experience is great, I am kind of experiencing your trip vicariously through your report. My kids were pretty ride focused so we didn't see all the characters. On our next trip we are going to go the conservation station-- we didn't make it this trip-- it looks like you got to meet some of the hard to find characters!
My middle son is terrified of the characters so it fun to see all your sweet family character pics! Most of our character pics are sans one child!

The song for your daughter was definitely a Magical Moment. We had a few of those MM's but never a song! How wonderful!

Looking forward to more of your TR!

I was at the All Stars Movie's Toy Story section from May 9 - May 18th as well. I was the crazy mom who went with her two pre-schoolers by myself so I was generally seen pushing a very big and heavy double stroller. And boy was it hot then but it beats the rain that came later.

I'm really enjoying your trip report and looking forward to reading more.:cool2:

Yeah, we did seem to have a lot of Pizza the first couple of days, but that calms down alittle after this day. We did eat other things. But we do love pizza, and the kids hardly ever say no to pizza.

We were on the first floor in bldg 10 which was right next to the main bldg before you went though the doors to "Andy's Room". I had the 5 yr old boy and 3 year old girl and I was generally heard to be yelling for them throughout Disney. I never thought it would actually get harder as my DD got older. :confused3

Ok, so I am going to finish off our first full day in Disney World. We left off coming back on the train from Rafiki's planet watch!!

I knew we were all getting tired, but it was just about time for the park to close and be open only to Resort guests, I really wanted to be there for that. So we all moved along. I also wanted to make sure we got the things done that I really wanted to do. So I suggested we head to It's tought to be a bug. I think the walkway leading into the Theatre was awesome. The kids were so amazed by that tree.

Here are the girls getting ready to go in. Notice how Emily is giving Lizzie bunny ears, and Lizzie is doing it to Sam

Not sure how good you can see this, but Flik is talking to us up on the ceiling.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513EL.jpg

We all loved this show. Lizzie actually got a little scared a few times, but she's old enough to know that it is pretend. 2 people had to get up and leave with crying children. It definitely is a little scary for, i'd probably say 2-3 yr olds, if they tend to get scared easy. Some of the bugs sounded very mean.

After this show we headed over to Dinoland!! YAY!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513EM.jpg

Ah, so glad we had these misting fans.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513EN.jpg

Manny stopped at this point at another little gift cart and bought a pair of Mickey Mouse hands. They are plastic and they can grab things and pick them up. I know, we really needed those. I mean, the kids were not even asking for them. The kids were not even with him. We went to sit on a nearby bench while he was looking...... Can't take him anywhere!!!

Ok, so next Manny took Sam and went to relax on a bench while Me, Anthony, Emily and Lizzie rode Dinosaur. OH WOW, is all I can say, this ride is GREAT!!! I warned Lizzie before we rode that it was a little scary and Dinosaurs would be jumping out to scare us, but she wanted to ride. My little scaredy cat wanted to ride. And i'm so glad she did, she loved it.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513EP.jpg

We are in the back row in this picture, this is where the big Dinosaur jumps out at us.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513ER.jpg

Anthony swears he was covering his eyes from the light of the camera......I won't say any different.
Lizzie was scared on one part where it looks like a big mac truck is going to run into your car. She jumped, she still talks about that, but she was fine, she said she loved it.

Next we took Lizzie out to join Manny and Sam who were relaxing with ice cream, and Me Anthony, and Emily went to ride Primeval whirl, Lizzie was not tall enough for that one. I was alittle nervous, I thought there would be alot more spinning then there was. It was a very jerky ride though. But we all liked it.

After Primeval whirl I figured we'd ride the flying Dinos there, because Sam had just sat out on 2 rides. Although it was a long day, and I think they were enjoying sitting down very much.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513FG.jpg

Me, Lizzie and Sam sat up front and Emily and Anthony sat in the back. Ya know, Anthony never said he wanted to sit out any of the rides that were for the little ones. At this point Manny was still on the bench so Ant could have said he wanted to stay with him, but he always came and had fun. He's such a good boy!!! And I must say the same for the girls, when they had to sit rides out, they never complained either.

After that we walked around Dinoland a little taking some pics, it is really neat there.
And here is one of my favorites from the trip!!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513FL.jpg

And this next one with all of the kids is actually Manny's favorite. So for Father's Day I am making him a calendar with this pic on it. He loves cars too, so it's perfect.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513FN.jpg

Ok, so after we walked under this big guy, you know what we would see Right???? You're right if you guessed Expedition Everest!!! Anthony, I knew hated rollercoasters, Emily has never even been on a rollercoaster in her life, and Lizzie and Sam are not tall enough. So who made me go on this CRAZY ride and wanted to ride again....In where I had to draw the line, I was not riding again. POSTED BELOW IS THE CULPRIT

Darn that little Emily, I just couldn't say no

There we are right up front!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and Manny were so surprised that she wanted to go on that and liked it. So we went into the gift shop and bought that picture in an 8 by 10 for $20. And we're gonna frame it of course. Manny bought Lizzie a stuffed Yeti and Emily wanted a stuffed Yeti that was alittle smaller, but it had a keychain attached and she put it on her lanyard, it looked awesome.

After all of this excitement, which we only waited about 15 minutes for during EMH, it was 7:30 and we were tired and ready to head back.
Sam stopped along the way because she spotted this.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513GA.jpg

This guy crossed our path, I thought it was so funny to see these guys walking around all over the place, so different than home.

Waiting for the bus

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0513GD.jpg

When we got back to the hotel we figured we'd get some ice cream and sit out at the table by the pool. It was a gorgeous night, there was music playing and we sat there for about an hour, it was a perfect end to an awesome day

Up next will be our Hollywood Studios Day!!!!!

Sounds like a wonderful end to your day at AK. Isn't AK a great park? I love it!!! Interesting that your girls (minus Sam) enjoyed Dino. I don't love it, its just not me, but think Steve will. Maybe he can take Jack & Cat on it.

LOL At Manny and his shopping. Did the man know it was only day 1 of the trip? LOL

Can't wait for more!!!

Just have to add too, that while i'm sitting here on the computer, Sam is playing CARS on the playstation, but she is humming It's a small world, over and over again. I havn't said anything to her cause I don't want her to stop, she's completely in her own little world driving Lightening McQueen around:wizard: So cute!!

Ok, I had to put my new ticker up for next year!!! I looked at the 2010 calendar and we know we want to go the last week, so I pretty much know the dates, sure they could change by a day or two but I felt so....not right without my ticker telling me that, indeed I will go back:goodvibes

I feel better now!!

I picked the Haunted Mansion background because that was our first ride of our Disney trip and our last ride of our Disney Trip. How's that for special. And of course the little ghost mickey went along perfect, seeing how Mickey's Halloween party will be going on:banana:

If tradition holds true you will be there for free dining :thumbsup2. It does make it seem real when you have that ticker going on the bottom of your posts.

I'm hoping free dining goes into October next year too because my bday is Oct. 9th so I would like to be there for that and free dining and F&W Festival and MNSSHP!:rotfl: It will be fun to plan for that time with you and Nickie again!

I know, I'm really hoping they offer free dining again next year, that will be the icing on the cake for our next trip. Especially seeing how Emily will be an "adult" next year as well.

And I have been bitten by the Mouse bug, I thought I was bad before the trip.....

I know I'm very excited about visiting at a different time of year. We did go to Orlando in 2005, in March, so September will be a totally different experience i'm sure. And i'm already excited for Mickey's not so scary Halloween Party.

I will try my hardest to get the next installment up before I leave for work tonight. This is the first day i'm feeling better, i've been so sick, and I have a lot to do. I have to go renew my license, Me and My Mom are going shopping for my bday, and I have to run to the market.

Now that I type it out, that kind of is alot, and I have to be to work at 4pm:confused3

OMG what a fun day! I love EE and my DD can't get enough of it. Her obsession started at age 5! That Summer she made me ride it 4 times in a row and the following year I was just sick of it. I went back on again in March though and remembered why I love it so much!

So we woke up nice and early this morning, and decided we were all in the mood for a nice big breakfast, so we got dressed and headed down to the foodcourt for a very BIG breakfast.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0514AC.jpg

So with full bellies, and I mean full we headed out to the bus stop. We wanted to get there early for a good few hours before it got too hot. I don't remember what the temp got up to this day, but it was very hot. We got onto a very crowded bus and I started to think I made my first mistake by going to HS on this day. Fantasmic was only showing 2 times this week and i was warned it would be busy, but..... I wanted to see Fantasmic, so we went. And as soon as we got off the bus, oh my word, the crowds were bad.

The Pixar Studios area was so awesome, it was great. So we were going to grab fast passes but the time was for 2pm and we knew we'd be back at the hotel for a swim at that time, the posted wait said 30 minutes, so we got in line. Well once we were in line for about 5 min that 30 min wait changed to 40 and by the time we got out it was 60, that's probably what we waited for it.

So we all enjoyed this ride and the waiting area was great to look at while waiting. Was it all that I was expecting. Well, I think with all of the talk about this ride, i was expecting more. I actually enjoyed Buzz Lightyears space ranger spin more, so, was it worth an hour wait, not really next time. For the first time though, i'm glad we waited and checked it out.

After we walked out of there we saw Buzz and Woody across the street , inside this building, so we got in line, very excited!!!!!

I'll start this in another post....

Good for Emily for getting Mom to ride Everest! It's a great ride isn't it?

One of the best things for me about Disney is that Dan (14) still enjoys all the magic! I'm glad Anthony did as well. There's just something about that place that brings out the little kid in everyone! :wizard:

Great pics Pam! Looks like another fabulous day! My crew liked TSM but we never waited more than 20 min to ride. The rain slowed things down a bit I think. We rode twice at rope drop and then later in the day with FP. FP was the longest wait. There is a lot of hype about it though. It's not something I would wait an hour to ride.

Hope the ear piercing went well. :goodvibes

DHS Day! Woo-Hoo! :woohoo::woohoo:

There's not too much I'd wait in line for an hour to ride....we tried to FP everything, but we did wait in the standby line for our first TSM ride. It was only a 30 minute wait though. I'm spoiled by the great advice and trip planning tips I get on the DIS!

LMA is a GREAT show...a must do for our family. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Great pictures! :thumbsup2

We didn't do the Pixar meet and greet, but the pics are adorable! It's easy to tell your kids were having a blast! (HA...literally with the strapped to the rocket pics! :rotfl:)

Ok, so i'm going to finish off our Hollywood Studios Day!!!! Go me, 2 updates in the same day!

So we were on our way to Toy Story Pizza Planet and stopped at Muppet Vision 3D which was right outside of the restaurant, then we staggered into Pizza Planet, Hot, tired and really had to go to the bathroom.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0514CW.jpg

We loved this restaurant. Probably because we love Toy Story. Manny went to find a table upstairs while me and the kids went to get our food. We ate and relaxed for a little bit, it felt so good to rest.

After we left the restaurant we were on our way back to Animation Courtyard for Playhouse Disney and Little Mermaid, well, it was so crowded (more than our other days anyway) and super hot, this was the hottest day we had that whole week. We couldn't trudge along, the kids just wanted to go back to the hotel and go swimming! So off we went, we said we'd come back later??????

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0514CX.jpg

So back at the hotel we ate our Mickey head rice crispy treats and enjoyed them!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0514DD.jpg

Anthony wanted me to take a before and after pic of his Mickey!! He's so funny!! The things that amuse us!!!

We were just so comfortable in the nice AC, the kids jumped around on the beds for a little bit.

Then we got ready to go down to the pool, where we spent a good few relaxing hours

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0514DA.jpg

We actually only left the pool because of Very loud thunder and lightening, so we came back up to the room and the kids entertained themselves. Anthony put on this very funny puppet show, we even had other kids that were walking by stopping to watch it, it was soooo cute!!!

It rained for the rest of the night, but it was thundering and lightening as well, and we were so tired from this hot crowded day that we really just wanted to relax.

We went down to the foodcourt for supper, and then hung out in the arcade for a while. It was a nice relaxing night!!!

This is Lizzie's otter, Anthony put his sunglasses on him.

Our DHS day was very similar, except for the rain and crowds part! It was HOT!! The kids look like they were having a blast even haging around the hotel room! It's nice to have an evening or 2 where you do absolutly nothing! I'm glad that as first timers you weren't hitting the parks commando and wearing yourselfs out! Miss some attractions just gives you a better reason to plan your next trip! :woohoo:

Isn't Disney wonderful! I can tell that you guys are having a blast because everybody is always smiling. It's that way for us when we go to WDW. We are all smiles all day long. Even when the other people in the parks have started getting grumpy, we're still smiling along.

Ok, so go me, i'm going to finish this lovely day up!!!

So after we mini golfed, and oh boy, we are so good:lmao: We walked right over to the boardwalk!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0515BX.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0515BZ.jpg

It was really hot, so we didn't really stay too long, we checked out what was over there and really wanted to rent a surrey bike, but we were too hot at that point and said we wanted to come back another time and rent one, they looked like so much fun.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0515BZ.jpg

So we caught the water taxi that picked up right at the boardwalk and took it back to HS, to bus it back to The All Star Movies for some much needed pool time. We were HOT.

We got to sit on the outside of the water taxi this time. It was nice

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0515CA.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0515CB.jpg

So we went back to our hotel and stopped right at the food court when we got off the bus for some nice lunch. We went back up to the room and changed into our bathing suits and swam for a while. Then the kids were really excited to know what the surprise would be, so we went back up to the room and got changed to go over to Downtown Disney!!!!!

So we got off the bus and I told everyone we could stop and look at everything later but we had to go straight to where we needed to go!!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0515DI.jpg

DTD was so much prettier than I even imagined it would be. I really loved it down there.
Soooooo, we went straight to Captain Jack's Marina (and it was really funny but earlier this day we saw a family on a boat and Manny said, see, that's what we should do, we should go on a boat.) So that's what we were doing, we were renting a boat!!! Manny has always wanted to do this, and the kids have never been on a boat, so I knew they would love it too!!

I paid for the boat rental while Manny and the kids were checking the boats outs, then they had us all put on life jackets and told us to go right over to the man at the boat and he would tell us what to do.

We walked down the dock, the kids were ecstatic and so was Manny. well, silly Manny at this point didn't realize HE was driving the boat.

When we got down there, he found out and he was shocked. He said"are you going to tell me how to drive it" The guy told him, yeah, you put it up to go forward and down to go in reveres and put it into neutral if you want to stop. He said, it's just like driving a cadillac. They gave us a map and told us what canals to go down, and we were on our way. Manny was in all his glory!!!

We had so much fun on this boat, I highly recommend this, it was amazing, the views while on the ride were so pretty!!! This was the most memorable thing we did while there. Lizzie's smiling face on her favorite ride dumbo and Sam's big eyes when she spotted Ariel were all memorable Disney moments too, but this was a nice family thing!!!! The kids are still talking about it!!

I'll finish off the rest of our night in the next post......

The kids loved the lego area!! It was neat.

Then we went to Goofy's Candy Company and the kids all wanted the slushies, they didn't even want to make the big hunk of snacks. We just had so much food and snacks this week, the poor kids didn't even want any more. So we all enjoyed our slushies and then played in the jumping fountains. There was music playing everywhere it was just so nice.

We wanted to eat dinner down there, but the kids were not hungry at all. So we went back to our hotel, went for an awesome night swim and ate a late dinner at the foodcourt. It was another awesome day!!!!! Oh, how I want to be there so badly right now.

The boat rental surprise was amazing! Seeing how happy you made your husband and kids brought tears to my eyes! The way you incorporated activities into your trip that made everyone feel special just blew me away. We had an awesome trip too but I was so focused on getting the most bang for our buck that I had my kids literally running from place to place without even asking them what they wanted to do. Your kids look so happy and relaxed. I am learning alot from your trip report that I will hopefully take with us on our next WDW vacation (Dec 2010-we hope).

Ok, so Manny and I never technically got married. We've been together for 11 years (next month) and had Emily within the first year, so we just never planned a wedding. I of course refer to and consider him my husband, but it's not official.

Well guess what we are getting married next year. We are going to get married on the 4th of July!!!!!! And consider our next year's big Disney Trip our Honeymoon!!!!

HOW'S THAT FOR FUN!!!!

We really just decided this last night, and we are both really excited. He already told the guys at work, he beat me!!! I have not really talked to anyone yet.

So Joy (my SIL) if you're on the disboards today you may hear it here first!!! and Nicole(Makdyn) you may hear it first as well if you're on before I talk to you again today!!!

So I now have a wedding and a Disney Trip to plan for next year!!!! Oh, boy, I'm excited today!!!!

And I never thought that i'd be saying I have a wedding to plan:cloud9:
I'm going to tell the girls tonight, i'll let you know what they think of this. And we'll call Anthony tonight and tell him too, he has always wanted us to get married!!!! When he was younger he would have us act out little "play weddings" too cute, I know he's gonna be excited!!!

My pre trip report for next year's trip is gonna be alot of fun, I hope you're all around for it:dance3:

Hip hip hooray for you guys! Gotta love planning a wedding and a Disney vacation all at once. Let us know how the kids react.

How fun! My husband and I talked about that when we were at Disney-- I told him I wished we weren't married so we could plan a Disney wedding and/or honeymoon-- he laughed but said he thought the same thing!

We actually went to Disneyland California two days after we got married in 93! But we lived in California at the time so it wasn't quite the same!

Have fun with your planning! :bride::cool2:

Planning a wedding is almost as much fun as planning a Disney trip! LOL!!

Your "down day" looks incredible! Your pictures really capture how much fun you are all having. I'm glad Manny enjoyed driving the boat! I am not at all a boat girl so I don't see my family doing that any time soon, but it looks like you all had a blast!

I love the Dumbo that Lizzie bought. VERY cute! :dumbo:

Ok, so I told my best friends, Brianne(she can't wait to go dress shopping) and Nicole and they were of course thrilled!!!
My Mom was ecstatic!! My brother said "Oh my god, you are, that is so awesome" Manny even wants him to be his best man, so my brother was of course happy about that!
I called my cousin and Oh boy, she has all of these ideas for me.

When i'm ready to go looking for a dress I want Brianne, Nicole, and my cousin Missy to come along and we'll have a fun day of dress shopping and then all go for lunch, it will be fun!!!

As for my girls, they were so happy. Emily said, oh you'll finally have the same last name as us!! Lizzie let out a loud screech and can't wait to wear a pretty dress and be in a wedding, and Sam's not really sure what a wedding is, so she's just happy because she knows we're happy:goodvibes
I wanted Manny to call Anthony and tell him, but he wants to wait until he comes over this weekend!!!!! So, i'll let you know what he says!!! I'm sure he will be thrilled!!!

Ok, well, i've uploaded some of my pictures from the next day, which we went to Epcot!!!!! I'll get the rest of the pictures up tonight and hopefully get the next update up tomorrow, sorry the whole wedding thing threw me off track

Reading your updates always makes me smile. You all look so happy. Your daughter saying that this is the best vacation ever reminds me of what six year old son said. On our trip in Dec. we were in the MK on the first day and he said, "This is the best day of my life." That is why I love DW so much.

Sorry it took me a few days, but i'm ready to start our first Epcot Day!!!

The plan for this day was to do the World Showcase and save the rest for our second day planned for Epcot. But , we did not follow that plan, which is fine of course!! We walked in and were just amazed with this park and could not pass everything by.

When walked around for a few minutes and checked out the guide map and then wondered into innoventions!! Our first stop in there was the new piggy bank game , they told us it was not officially open, but they were testing it, so we played, it was cute!! The kids loved the darn pig.

We then decided we needed itzakadoozies and mickey ice cream bars

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0516BI.jpg

So we hung out and relaxed for a little bit while we cooled off and then went over to Test Track to get Fast Passes!! Woo Hoo... Again, Sam wasn't tall enough and Manny said he would sit out with her. Lizzie was sure she wanted to go on. I was so surprised with her, she has always been the biggest ride chicken (well besides Anthony) The cars were going so fast around that medal track and they were making so much noise, she seemed alittle nervous, but said she would ride. So did she ride? We'll find out later.
We went to cool off again
http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0516BN.jpg

And then went over and got a pass to start our Kimpossible adventure, it gave us a time for 5:30pm. Emily was so excited. She really wanted to do this.

So we started our World Showcase adventure, Our kimpossible adventure was to occur in Norway!!!!

So first stop was Mexico. This was my absolute favorite country!! I loved it here so much.

It was nice, the lady explained what we had to do, and then told us that we could look around in other countries before starting our adventure, it was not on any certain time frame, you just had to press the OK button when you were where you had to be next.

Anthony stopped to play
http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0516CE.jpg

Then suprise....Manny stopped again to buy something. He bought a light up Epcot keychain. Very cute. We waited.

And here
http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0516CW.jpg

I had some more pics from this, but don't want to spoil too much, but it was really cute, we were led to a few different clues and then told what to go find next.

After we explored a few more countries nearby it was time for our TesT Track FPs to be used... I think we stopped in Norway, we just got the first few countries on that side down tonight.
http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0516CZ.jpg

So Sam and Manny were pretty happy to plop on a bench, it was hot and we were there for hours, we were getting pretty tired. So with them on the bench, we went along.

She loved it..... There was one part that scared her, but I don't want to spoil the surprise for anyone who hasn't been on it. Here we are. Me, Emily and Lizzie are in the back row and Anthony is right in front of us in the green shirt.(of course)
http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0516DG.jpg

After our ride, which we all loved. Totally a must do again for next year. We checked out the cars that the exit led you to. Anthony was in all of his glory. He LOVES cars, and was so excited here.

We then decided to head out, we were beat , and HOT. This was also when Manny started not feeling well!!!!!

We went back to the hotel and hit the pool, Manny sat in one of the pool chairs and chilled out. We ate dinner at the hotel food court, and then, Emily said she had a headache and didn't feel good. OH NO!!!!!! I thought this was the end of our wonderful vacation!!!!

But I won't keep you hanging, the next day Emily felt better, But of course Manny did not.

Next up is our Magic Kingdom Day!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!

Thanks, we really enjoyed our Epcot day, and Anthony does look like a cutie in the fancy car, and he already does have girls chasing him. We have them calling here looking for him wondering if he's here or at his Mom's. He's a stud!!!

And i'll have another update up soon. I've been busy looking into things for the wedding. Yes, it's early but my friend (who declared herself my wedding planner) said that because it's a holiday weekend, we should book it soon. So last night I made a guest list and we were looking over a few places at work last night. (I know, we were working really hard)

I noticed that too, when the end of the day was approaching and others seemed to be getting grumpy, we were just not. We were so happy to be in Disney World that even if we were standing in a line or just hanging out we were happy. I'm happy just thinking about it !!!!!!!

I appreciate you saying this. This is just how we feel when we are in Disney World - so blessed, grateful, and excited that we can't possibly be grouchy or stress over little inconveniences.

I am enjoying reading about your good times and seeing your many pictures.

I LOVE Test Track, I  it and I :cloud9: it LOL Great picture of you enjoying it! I can't wait to see Turtle Talk w/Crush - it sounds like soooo much fun!

As usual, you all look like you're having a blast :goodvibes The picture of Anthony in the car should be setting off alarm bells for you - get a BIG stick to keep all those girls away :rotfl:

Lizzie's facepainting looks beautiful - so flowy and soft kwim? I wish my boys liked facepainting, but it's been deemed "ick" here, sadly. Hey, *I* could get my face painted and tell them that it's only allowed for moms!

Ok, so here goes with our 2nd day at the Magic Kingdom, I couldn't wait to get back here all week.

So we left off on Saturday night when Manny was not feeling well. Well, this morning when he woke up he was VERY sick, and Emily had a bad headache the night before. I woke her up and asked her if she wanted to sleep and relax, and just come to the MK after our pool break, and she said yes. I thought she was getting sick too, but luckily when she woke up a few hours later, she was fine.

So Me, Anthony, Lizzie and Sam were off to the Magic Kingdom after we grabbed breakfast and brought it up to Manny and Emily and had our breakfast in the foodcourt. We probably got on the bus at 9am.

It was so nice to be in the park this early, there were no crowds!!!

So this morning our plan was to head straight to Dumbo and then Ariel's Grotto. Lizzie was in heaven when we saw Dumbo

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517AJ.jpg

Anthony and Sam took the Dumbo in front of us

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517AK.jpg

This one was taken from Dumbo

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517AM.jpg

Lizzie was very pleased we finally got to ride Dumbo!!! And as you can see she still had some of her face paint on from the day before. We were in the pool and everything the night before but the top part stayed strong. She was happy about that.

So next we hopped right over to Ariel's Grotto, we had about a 30 minute wait, but the girls had fun while waiting.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517AU.jpg

Ok, I love these next two pictures. They just spotted Ariel, so they were peaking at her. We were about 4 people away from seeing her.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517AV.jpg

And here Lizzie is telling me she sees her

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517BA.jpg

Oh, Sam was so excited to finally meet Ariel. After that I figured we'd head over to Adventureland cause Anthony was a good sport and rode Dumbo and sat through a 30 minute Ariel wait.
On the way by the castle though the Fairy Godmother was out, she was too cute. The girls were very excited, and Emily was jealous when she found out. That was the first thing Sam told her when we got back to the room.

Oh I hope Manny and Emily get to feeling better. There's nothing worse that being sick while on vacation.

I, too, love the picture of the girls waiting to see Ariel. It makes me wish my daughter was still little.

Anthony is such a trooper. Never fussing even if he does have to do "little kid stuff".

Ok, so we got to adventureland and I was so excited to see it!! It's awesome over here.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517BG.jpg

The girls stopped to get wet by these squirting Tiki things

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517BI.jpg

We decided to head into Pirates of the Carribean (5 min wait) I of course took about 8 or 9 pics and thought they came out good, but ended up being either blurry or too dark. But I got a few.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517BM.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517BN.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517BR.jpg

After the ride we were dumped into a giftshop and Lizzie really wanted this 5 times too big for her head Jack Sparrow Hat, she's crazy!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517BV.jpg

So then we were hungry and saw El Pirata y El Perico right across from Pirates. We were very excited, we love Tacos, especially Anthony. He was thrilled. It was so delicious. I told Manny that we have to eat there next year, he really missed out.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517BW.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517BX.jpg

This was our view of outside from our table, and even though there were no closed walls here (there was a back side with closed wall and AC) it was nice and cool in here.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517BY.jpg

Right when we were finishing up, Lizzie spotted Capt. Hook and Mr Smee right outside the restaurant. For some reason she was so excited, it was so cute. So we went out to see them.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CC.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CG.jpg

Right when we were finishing up with these cool guys, this cool guy came walking out.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CA.jpg

We ran right over and watched his pirate tutorial. Very cute.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CH.jpg

A shot of the restaurant from the outside

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CI.jpg

So we decided to head back into Fantasyland , Lizzie had also been wanting to ride the teacups. MISTAKE!!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CK.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CL.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CM.jpg

Why a mistake you ask? The kids look so happy? Yeah, um the ride hadn't started yet. I guess you shouldn't ride spinning tea cups right after you eat. Me and Anthony had to hold the wheel still so we didn't spin that much, Lizzie was green, we though she was going to throw up all over us. We did make it off the ride without incident.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CP.jpg

I think it was about 1pm at this time and because we were half sick now, and it was very HOT, we figured it was a good time to go back and get Emily, I called and she was better and waiting for us, so I felt bad. But we really needed to get in the pool anyway.

I loved this view when walking back to the bus stop

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CQ.jpg

We were sitting down waiting for the bus when we got a few visitors. They were walking right up to us. Anthony was freaked out by this and is starting to run away, and Lizzie is like " Ok, come on little duckies, I want to pet you"

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CR.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CS.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CT.jpg

Here is Lizzie, we're waiting to board the bus, they were getting someone in a wheelchair loaded up first.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CU.jpg

Ahhhh, nice cold AC

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CV.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517CY.jpg

So we got back to the hotel and went swimming!!!!! Oh how we loved that pool. We go back to the MK this night!!!!!!

Awesome updates! Epcot is our favorite park...I'm so glad you all enjoyed it as well! I see Emily got a marionette....my kids LOVE those too! We saw them in 2007 and didn't buy one, but all they talked about for the next two years was buying a marionette in China! They did! We came home with 2!

Cool Dumbo photos! That's a great perspective of the castle.

You saw a LOT of characters! I LOVE THAT! I felt like we saw more on our 2007 trip than on this one. We've never met the Fairy Godmother....but of course I don't think I could get my boys to wait in line for her!

Nice face painting! It's very pretty....love the colors. :thumbsup2

Sorry to hear there was some sickness affecting your family. That's a hard one, but I'm glad the rest of you could still enjoy your time. I hope they feel better soon and can get back to the business of vacation!

Looking forward to more! popcorn::

Thanks!! I was pretty pleased with the amount of characters we saw.

Fortunately Emily was fine for the rest of the trip, but Manny... This was only the beginning of him not feeling good. It only got worse for him.

So i'm doing a lot of wedding planning this week. Making phone calls and we're in between a few different places. We actually went to look at a place yesterday. Which I really want, but it is outside, which that is what I wanted, but if it rains........ Oh, i don't know?

There is another place which i'm going to call shortly that is outside, but has an inside option in case it rains!! That sounds good. We're going to check that one out.

Yea, I can tell he is looking forward to our next trip. He was pretty bummed he had to miss out on the last couple of days of our trip. I feel bad! I told him when we get there next year we'll do what he wants to do first to make up for this trip.

I love your trip report. Your kids look so completely happy to be there!! I love the shirts your girls were wearing in the last update, how did you do that?

I went to the "creative disigns" which is a forum here on the disboards. There are disers on there that have programs to make these designs, and I put in a request (many of them doing these designs take requests) and they posted it on the thread with the kids names on them, and from there I saved the design to my computer and then printed it out on transfer paper (gotta make sure you switch your printer to mirror image though) and then just ironed it onto a shirt.

Too bad you all couldn't make it to the MK together. I am glad Emily felt better soon. Your girls' shirts are so cute. And, they seemed to be really excited to see Ariel. I don't do Teacups. I can't take it.

Thanks, I was really impressed with the way the shirts came out too. And, after that ride, I don't do the teacups either LOL.

Oh, I will definitely send you pics of the dresses that i'm looking at. I'm so excited about dress shopping. I'm not sure what Manny had, it was flu like symptoms, I got it when we got home, but luckily the kids never got sick. Emily's headache was just a headache that night, thankfully.

Figured i'd through a wedding update in!!!!! Seeing how this is what I was working on today.

Ok, so I think we found a place for the ceremony and reception. It's a really nice place where we will get married outside by a lake and the reception is inside (of course) overlooking the lake. We're going to look at it this weekend. It was very reasonably priced, so that was super exciting. I've been thinking about centerpieces and DJs today also. I just found out that my Mom knows someone who DJs, so we'll be checking on that this week :goodvibes I'm very happy with where we are right now with the planning.

We're going with the color of Tiffany blue, which is like an aqua blue!!! I'm so set on that color and very excited about it, every time I see it I get excited:cloud9:

I'm going back and forth from thinking about the wedding and our Disney Trip. This is wonderful:cloud9:

Oh, I want to change my ticker too. I wanted the Halloween one , cause we're all excited to be going around Halloween, but it's kind of eerie along with "we're getting Married" So it's gonna change.

I'll try to get the rest of our 2nd MK day up tomorrow.

I'm so excited about this place, we're going to see it this weekend, i'll post pics.

I'm working on getting more pics up again. I'll hurry I promise. Today we went to reserve sites at this big state park near our house for Emily and Lizzie's bday party. The sites we booked last year were already reserved. I waited too long this year. So, we got a list of available sites and a map and went driving through to check them all out:eek: and for being good sports we went to McDonalds after we chose our sites. It's on Sunday, June 28th. So i'll be working on that for the next few weeks. We're actually gonna run to the store right now for some fancy paper and tonight we're all gonna sit down and make up our invitations!! I wish I could invite all of my disfriends;)

Ok, lets finish up our 2nd day at the MK.

We left off with us coming back from the MK and taking a pool break. Emily was ready to go and feeling fine.

After we got out of the pool we changed and got ready to go back. We probably got to the bus stop at about 4pm.

I love this pic, Emily ran over and sat on Walt's lap. Everyone else followed, and Sam ended up banging her ear on Minnie's ear. Ouch

We stopped at Buzz Lightyear's space ranger spin because there was a 5 min wait. I loved this ride, I thought it was much better than Toy Story Mania. Anthony got some crazy high score. I forget what it was though.

Soooooo when we came off of Buzz, we were met by rain!!! This is when the rain starts.
I'm not complaining , we had a great week with great weather. It started raining tonight and continued for the rest of this entire week. We left tuesday night.

So it was raining really hard, so we decided to RUN over to Cosmic Rays for dinner. It was really crowded, we ended up getting an outside table. It was covered, so we were fine.

Unfortunately Anthony did not get to ride the speedway, it was closed of course. So we decided to RUN to Toontown to go visit the Princesses. We only waited in line for about 15 minutes.

So after our visit with Royalty we shopped around, Emily bought a Silvermist fairy, and I bought...............PONCHOS. It did not look like the rain was letting up, so $40 later, we were ready to head out.

The princess pictures are great. You saw Snow White...my fave! :thumbsup2

Sorry you had so much rain! The children look like they are having a good time anyway, and that is what is important!

I wanted to get back to Mickey's house, because on the first day, we saw Minnie's but for some reason Sam wanted to go in Mickey's so bad. I told her we'd come back. So this was the perfect time to tour his house.

We got to his house and this nice CM was blowing bubbles, even Anthony was popping them, it was too cute.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517EP.jpg

After we went in his backyard, it took us to another tent, where Mickey was waiting inside.

Anthony, watching an old fashioned Mickey Mouse cartoon. I thought this was so cute, he watched this cartoon for about 8 minutes while we waited to go in.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517EQ.jpg

So when we got in we got a surprise, Minnie was there too!!! She motioned for us to take our ponchos off, Ugh, that's alot of work when they're all wet.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517ET.jpg

After leaving there, we went to the little play area across from his house. The kids had fun over there for about 15 minutes. I was discouraged about the rain, but it looks like the kids thought it was great. When do we get to play in the rain at home? So it was then I started to enjoy myself as well. If they were happy , I was happy.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517FB.jpg

After this we headed back over to Fantasyland, I figured, that offered the most inside rides. So first we hit Winnie the Pooh, which the kids really wanted to go on. We got fastpasses for it the first day, but never got to it.

I thought this ride was too cute, I loved the music that was playing. After Pooh, we jumped on the Cinderella's Golden Carousel. Sam loves carousels.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517FM.jpg

It was getting late now, it was about 9:30 and they kept announcing that wishing was postponed , of course. It was thundering too!!!!! We really wanted to watch it, but what are you gonna do!!!

Short of that, they wanted to go on Haunted Mansion again, so we did that, and then started to walk back towards the castle, the rain and thunder were not letting up, so we decided to call it a night. Emily and Anthony could have stayed all night in the rain. But Lizzie and Sam looked like little wet rats and they were getting chilly, and I knew we had a cold ride home on the bus.

So pretty it was, just standing there changing colors

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0517FN.jpg

When we got back, it took all of 10 minutes for this to happen

Next up is our 2nd Epcot day. This day was not a total washout either, we got in a few good hours before the rain returned.

Every year, when we go to WDW, it rains on us. We bring our Disney ponchos back from year to year. We have found that they usually last about three trips. So, if you haven't gotten rid of them yet, don't. Bring them back with you.

I see that you didn't let the dumb ole' rain stop your park touring. We don't either. In fact, while others are huddled inside a shop, we are seeing attractions.

Looking forward to reading more of your adventures.

I am glad your kids had fun even though it was raining. I would not have enjoyed having to spend that much on ponchos but they did look cute in your pictures. I guess its worth the money to be able to stay at MK longer.

3princesses+aprince

Oh, yes the money for the ponchos was well worth it, I didn't cringe over the price even once. Ok, well maybe when I was handing over the money, but after that I was fine. I knew if we didn't have them we wouldn't have been able to do half of what we did those last 2 rainy days. Our next day coming up is Epcot and we had them on all day. Then our last day, which was back at MK, we had them all day too, but this day was heavy rains. It gets to the point for me though that not even ponchos can make you happy if the rain is that bad. I'm glad it was our last day that those rains came in. My kids looked like little pathetic wet animals on our last day.;) I felt bad! I laugh now looking at the pics but while we were in it, it wasn't too funny.

I thought we had gone into the park for a few hours before the rain started but looking at the pics now, I realize that that did not happen, it started raining on the bus ride over.

I think we slept in a little bit this day, and went down to the foodcourt for some breakfast and hopped on the bus around 11:00am.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518AD.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518AH.jpg

I love this pic of Lizzie looking out the bus window

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518AI.jpg

As soon as the bus was pulling up to Epcot the rain started ,but it was light drizzly on and off rain, it was very tolerable, we still had a good day. So we got off the bus and got our ponchos out and were ready to go.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518AK.jpg

We figured we'd head into the innoventions pavilion to keep dry for a little while. It was pretty neat.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518AL.jpg

We tested our strength

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518AP.jpg

And then walked by the StormStuck line and said "that looks interesting" the kids were interested so it was a go.

We were in a room with walls that looked like you were right in someone's backyard

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518AX.jpg

This was so neat, it recreated a storm and how hurricanes rip roofs off of houses and just blow swingsets away. There were big gusts of wind coming out at us and sprinkles of rain (like we needed more of that LOL)
By the time we were done checking out a few more things inside we came out and the rain has stopped for the time being so we headed over to the World Showcase, Emily was ready to go to France!!!

I'll continue in the next post

But we head to WS, visit France, Morocco, and Japan. We have a Princess meet, lunch in Japan, and we Pick a Pearl!!!

Although it rained this day, this was hands down one of our favorite days!!!

And wait until you hear what happens this night. (don't worry nothing bad, just a little craziness)

Hi Pam!

I don't think I ever responded to your MK post. Oops! Your girls are fabulous...they don't seem to be bothered a bit by the rain....good for them!

That pic of the 4 kids with Mickey and Minne is awesome! SO glad you took the time to take off the ponchos!

Epcot is our favorite park..we'd never done Innoventions before this trip. My kids really enjoyed it. We didn't do the storm one, but we did do a fire safety activity that was pretty fun!

I wanted to say that I've been having a great time reading your trip report. You seem to have had a lovely time and you have a beautiful family! I'm getting a kick out of watching Anthony as the week progresses. If you look at the pictures with characters early in your TR, he seems a bit aloof, as if to say "I'm waaaay too cool for this," but he's getting more and more into it as your TR progresses. Ah the magic of Disney! :wizard:

Ok, i'm hoping that I don't have any more problems with this silly laptop!!! I'm sitting up at 2 am, I can't sleep, so i figured i'd give this another try.

So we left off leaving Innoventions, we were on our way to the World Showcase. Emily could not wait to get to France.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518BA.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518BC.jpg

Anthony spotted this when we first walked in to France. I love this pic.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518BG.jpg

So we went in to the gift shop and Emily was in heaven, she bought herself and Eiffel tower keychain and she posed to take French pictures, she's too funny.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518BI.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518BJ.jpg

They all got a pressed penny from France, they all really enjoyed doing this, I think I'm going to make it more of a collection next year, with whole bunch of quarters and pennies for each child. We probably have about 8 or 9 total, but we want more next year.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518BM.jpg

We then went and got a mask, they sat for a little while and decorated them. Again this is something we're going to do more of next year. We didn't start the masks on our first day, so we only got to add to them in a few different countries, which is Ok, it was really neat to speak with the CMs from different countries at all of the kidcot areas.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518BR.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518BU.jpg

Emily's picture she couldn't wait to get with the Eiffel tower in the background.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518BW.jpg

Then into Morocco. This country was just so real looking, walking through there felt like we were really in another country, too neat!!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518BY.jpg

We headed into the back and walked into the area where Jasmine usually was, it was empty so we checked it out and just as we were leaving, who was coming in....

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518CE.jpg

We went into the kidcot area and decorated some more of our masks, and the CM in there was the best, he was just so good with the kids. They enjoyed talking to him.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518CF.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518CH.jpg

Next we were headed to Japan!!!! And we were also ready for lunch, so we figured we'd try Yakitori House.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518CK.jpg

We got an outside table and the view was very nice. The kids really enjoyed trying to eat with chopsticks. Emily and Sam were the first to give up, but Lizzie and Anthony kept at it for quite a while.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518CM.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518CN.jpg

I can't say the food wasn't good, because i'm sure it was, we just didn't really like that kind of food. Lizzie is so funny though , really she likes anything, I didn't hear one complaint from her, she ate her whole dish. Me and the other 3 picked at it enough to be full, even picky Emily and then piled in the Ginger cake. If you eat at this restaurant you HAVE to have the ginger cake. It was so good, I would do anything for some right now!!!!!

Well, I have to upload some more pics from the rest of our day. There are some more interesting things to come. Like the things our kids will make us do??????? And i'll leave you with that for tonight. I'm going to press this button right now and I better be connected to the internet with this damn laptop!!

Woldn't it be fun to be a Kidcot CM? Just sit around and talk with sweet kids all day about their vacations and the fun they were having? :thumbsup2

I don't think I would have stuck it out very long with the chopsticks.
I've heard about the ginger cake, but never tried it.

Love the picture by the easel. One of my all-time favorite pictures of my youngest son is of him in a blue smock and beret painting in France at a Kidcot station. (He was about 5, and he had the biggest grin on his face. He's now 20!)

Only I'm not sure it was called Kidcot that long ago. There was a special 'celebration of children' thing going on - the predecessor to Kidcot, I suppose.

Keep the pictures coming! I am enjoying seeing those happy little kids having fun in Disney World.

We bought ours in WDW. I think you can get them at any gift shop..they are usually right up by the cash register. The design we got was a Year of a Million Dreams, so I think the designs change frequently. I also did a search online for "Disney Pressed Penny Book" and you can get them at a lot of different places. I think we only paid like $6 or $7 for it at WDW in 2007.

Reading how much your kids enjoyed the kidcot stops reminded me so much of my last trip, my kids were not looking foward to the WS (4 and 7 at the time) that is until they found the first kidcot station we HAD to do the entire WS then even through the on and off rain.....

So we left off finishing up our lunch at Yakitori House. We were ready to head over to Japan, because Emily REALLY wanted to pick a pearl. I highly recommend this to anyone remotely interested, it was such a neat experience. Once the pearl is picked the CM bangs on these drums, then asks you if she can show off your pearl to everyone watching, it's really nice.

So here they are!!!

Her pearl was 7 and a quarter inches, the CM said that was big.

After this the lady that does the candy right outside was set to perform, so a whole group waited around for about 10-15 minutes when we were told it was cancelled due to the rain, because she had to use a hairdryer. Well, does someone want to put a sign up or something. I mean yeah it's common sense you don't want to use a hairdryer in the rain, but I didn't really know much about the show, I didn't know one needed to be used!! Anyway, we were bummed we didn't get to see this.
We decided to head back towards Future World

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518DF.jpg
She LOVED IT!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518DG.jpg

We tried all of the sodas, Lizzie's favorite was from China, she is still talking about it and wishes we could buy some here. It was good, very sweet, but very good.
Well, after the set up, I told them that I knew about Beverly and I had tricked them, Anthony couldn't believe it, cause that's now usually like me, it's Manny that's always teasing them.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518DH.jpg

We really wanted to ride Spaceship Earth, so we headed that way.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518DI.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518DK.jpg

I just remember the music playing at this time and it was so lovely to be walking around with the music playing.

So we finally got there, the kids were waiting to get inside this ball.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518DL.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518DN.jpg

I let Sam sit right behind us with Anthony and she felt like a big girl sitting with her big brother and not Mom.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518DP.jpg

So this was basically a ride through time. We loved this, all 4 of the kids absolutely loved it. I really enjoyed seeing the animatronic figures set up.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518DS.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518DX.jpg

Ah, the TV was invented, I love this one, it looks so real

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518EA.jpg

And of course they got a kick out of seeing their faces on little people on the screens.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518ED.jpg

It was a long , wet day, we figured we'd head back to the Hotel

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518EL.jpg

We got back and relaxed in the room for a little while

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518EP.jpg

Then went down to the foodcourt for dinner. We sat in the corner and the kids watched cartoons while we ate.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518ER.jpg

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518ES.jpg

We went back up to the room after dinner, i'm guessing it was about 7pm. I have to get my pics up, but the next update is a good one. Who makes me feel guilty and over what? Find out next time on ..... Just kidding. LOL

I'll try to get the next update up today.

Good update.....nice job on the Beverly trick. Ugh -- no way I want to drink that thing.....

I'll be interested to see if my kids enjoy Spaceship Earth like your kids did. Probably just being in "the ball" is part of the thrill.

Great update! Club Cool is so fun...I'm glad you didn't forget about it!

Sorry you missed the candy lady. She is really incredible! Put it on the list for next trip!

Pick a Pearl sounds cool. :thumbsup2 Did you get it set or just take it home as a pearl? That's something we've never done.

Sounds like a great day at Epcot. Where to next??

I forgot to post too, that I also tried it after them. I was REALLY curious. It is so BAD. It tastes gross at first, but it's the after taste that is HORRENDOUS!!:lmao: We all had to drink a few more cups from China to be able to move on with our day.

And I was so glad that my kids enjoyed spaceship earth, because I did. They actually wanted to jump on it again before we left. We're really into History and I think that's why they enjoyed it even more so.:goodvibes

Yes, The Candy Lady will definitely be on our list for next year. And for the Pearl we just took it home. But now we're debating on whether we want to get it set somewhere here, or take it back with us next year to get it set. Because Lizzie and Sam really want one too now, so we'll be getting one for them next year too. I absolutely loved this.

I love this picture too, it's a favorite. And yes, a teaser...... I think about it still and say, "oh boy, I know I love my kids" cause the things I do for them are a little nuts!!!

Hello, yeah Emily would be very happy to play tennis with Makenzie too. She was excited. Believe it or not, she actually said she wanted to play before I told her Makenzie might be playing with her. I think she wanted to because she knows I played tennis. I'm actually going to call on those lessons right now:goodvibes

I know, you guys are getting ready to leave. Lucky you!!!!! I really did love Epcot too. We're definitely putting another 2 full days towards this park next year too.

I love your poncho pictures. Your kids look like they are having the best time. You all certainly did not let rain stop you.

We did not let the rain stop us, we were totally fine with it the whole time. I could have done without it, but we made the best of it. We would have had a bummer of our last 2 days if we didn't ,cause it rained constantly the last 2 days.

And, I know I left you with something funny that happens this night and I have not updated yet, I know i'm feeling guilty, but I promise, i'll get it up soon.
I've had a lot to do. There was a supervisor at work out sick, so I had to work extra this week. Last night we took Emily and Lizzie to get party supplies for their bday party next weekent. Emily went with icarly theme, and Lizzie went with .........MINNIE MOUSE. She freaked out when she saw the Minnie stuff. I was so excited, it's so cute!!!!

We're also changing the place we were going to have the wedding at. We have 2 that we're deciding between right now, they're just much prettier. I'm happy with either choice, so whatever our decision is from here, i'll be happy. We're going on Saturday to see one of them!!! Wedding planning is sometimes fun and sometimes too stressful:headache: I'm doing OK right now though!!!

I know, I know, sorry, been so busy. But here we finally go!!!

3princesses+aprince
06-20-2009, 01:14 PM
Ok, so we left off (quite a few days ago, I'm sorry) eating dinner at the All Star Movies foodcourt!! After we ate we went into the Giftshop, cause the girls still had some spending money left. They did very good with it. I thought it was gonna be gone on the second day.

We went back up to the room and it was about 7pm , I think! And the kids were playing with their toys accumulated over the week!

Well, then the crap started! Emily had wanted this umbrella from France at Epcot with the Eiffel tower on it. Well she didn't want it this bad when we were there, but now she absolutely HAD TO HAVE IT. She was now in tears, but not in a bratty way. In a sad pathetic spoiled brat way though!! And because I said I would deny my kids nothing on this special trip I got out our wet ponchos and said "Who's trudging back to Epcot with us?" Samantha and Anthony said they had enough and wanted to stay back with Manny! Ok then, it would be easier to just run up there with the 2 girls. Soooooo Off we went or I would not have lived with the guilt.( Side track here. My kids are not spoiled, at all. We have an average amount of money and things like this do not happen at home. If they pull this in a store.... well, that doesn't even happen. ) We saved and waited patiently for this trip and giving my kids everything they ask for just isn't an everyday thing. I wanted this trip to be as special as ever, and did not want to come home with any regrets!!!!

Ok, we're off in the rain..

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0518EU.jpg

As you can imagine, we were the only ones on our way to Epcot at this time. So we got in and hiked it back up to France. Well, guess what. We get there and the umbrella stand is NOT THERE ANYMORE. We asked and they said there were not other umbrellas in France, they were only sold at that stand. Sooooooo, into the gift shop we went! And Emily picked out a purse. Oh, my god, it is so awesome, it's silver and says Paris all over it. Well, she was happy, so outside we went. And snapped some more pics.

Sorry, I don't have pics of the purse for this update, it was in the bag, Emily of course, didn't want it to get wet. I know I have pics of it though. I'll get it up.

so back to Future world and the Musical fountains were playing all lit up, oh , Wow, we watched this for a while, it was so gorgeous.

So I left you off with our Epcot night rather quickly. I was almost finished when my brother called. Yesterday was Lizzie's 8th bday and we went over to his house for a cookout and to swim in the pool!!! And last night we all went to the drive-in. We saw UP, which Lizzie was waiting to see and the second movie playing was The Proposal, which was awesome. UP on the other hand, I do not recommend. It was sad and disturbing to me. That's just me, but it was too sad!!!!!

But Lizzie had a nice bday day yesterday. Emily's bday is the 29th. So we're having their bday party next sunday the 28th. They can't wait!!!

Anyways like I said, we had an awesome night at Epcot with just the 3 of us. They thought it was so special, and it was. Soarin was amazing, and that was our little secret because Anthony really wanted to ride that, but hey.... that was our last chance, so we did it. It was so great, it's the first ride i'm going to get a FP for the next time we enter Epcot!!!!

So when we got back to the hotel the kids just hung out for a bit and went to sleep for our last sleep in Disney World.... until next year that is!!:goodvibes

Tomorrow i'll put up our last day at Disney World. My trip report is almost finished, kind of sad. But I'm so glad the next trip is already in the works!!! I know i'll be ready to start up my next PTR by January 1, once it hits 2010:goodvibes

Your trip report is wonderful. We are going in sept. My kids are DS9, DS7 and DD5, so it is great to read about a trip with their ages. I have been a little concerned about my cool 9 year boy and his sister wanting to do princess things. It is great to see your son doing the things with your daughters so happily.

I know what you mean about wanting a trip where you don't have to say no to the kids. We did that on our 2007 trip. It was our first "real" family vacation, other than camping and visiting family, and I wanted it to be special. We do not spoil our kids with lots of "things". We wanted to be able to just have a vacation where they could have something if they wanted it because that does not happen in our real life! We gave them a set amount of money, but it was a fairly large amount of money to spend and they did great! They were fairly responsible in their purchases, but if they wanted something, they were able to buy it. It was fun...but not something we can afford to do on every trip. We were definitely more budget conscious on this past trip.

Soarin' really is an amazing ride...it just makes me feel good! SO glad you got to ride it with the girls.

The last night at Disney is always sad...:sad1:

Can't wait to hear how your vacation ends! popcorn::

So we had a wonderful last night in Disney World and were as ready as we were going to be to start our last day there. Our plane didn't leave Orlando until 8:45pm so we had a time of 5:45 to be outside waiting for the Magical Express bus to take us back to the airport.

We woke up rather early to make sure we had everything and nothing got left behind, like a shoe or a cell phone charger. Those things seem to happen on our trips. Like last years trip (not to Disney of course) Manny left a pair of sneakers behind. Like how the heck does that happen? Well we do it. But we did good this trip, we came home with everything. My camera charger was MIA for like 2 weeks ,but we did end up finding it!!!!

Ok, so we went down to get the luggage cart and here are the girls while we waited.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519AA.jpg

We went down and had them store our luggage for us.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519AC.jpg

On our first day Anthony had been sitting on the letter A while waiting for the bus and the girls now wanted a pic of them on their letters.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519AF.jpg

As soon as we got in line to head back over to the MAGIC KINGDOM , yay, it started to ............. you guessed it, rain!!!

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519AH.jpg

So as soon as we entered the MK, we ran over to a cart selling ponchos, because Manny wasn't with us these past couple of days in the rain, so he needed one and Lizzie needed a new one because her hood had ripped half off when she stepped on the bottom of the poncho getting on the bus.

So, this morning, we went into the Main street Bakery for breakfast. OH MY WORD, this little place was amazing.

So unfortunately after we got out of Monster's Inc it was pouring badly, we were all huddled under where you come out there and we had to wait there for about a half hour. We were pretty sick of the rain by this point and were not sure what we wanted to do. We had planned to be in the MK until the last minute before we were due to leave. But it wasn't HOT today and we were wet rats by this point and now cold. So we didn't feel too great. Oh and I didn't mention Manny was feeling alittle better, but he wasn't feeling too great walking around in the rain.

So we headed over for one last ride......... You guessed it , Haunted Mansion

We just love the HM so much, because there is so much to look at, every time you ride you find something new... PLus we are big Halloween people, so we LOVE THIS!!!! We can't wait to ride it next year during Mickey's not so scary Halloween party!!

So Lizzie was really wanting popcorn, she wanted it this week and I, again, wasn't leaving Disney without a huge bucket of popcorn.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519BM.jpg

So we got back to the hotel and were happy to be inside. Especially poor Manny.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519BO.jpg
Yes, thats a string of Marshmallow on his head!!

We set ourselves up at a big table and relaxed, there were alot of other people doing this as well, waiting for ME. So we weren't ready for lunch yet, so we went with ice cream

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519BR.jpg

Anthony went in the arcade and spent about an hour in there. By the time he came out , we were all ready to go hang out outside for a little bit. It was still pouring of course.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519BW.jpg

We hung out out front for quite a while. Me and Manny were just relaxing and the kids were running around like animals.
We went back into the food court to have dinner before we left.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519CC.jpg

When we finally got our luggage and went back out to wait we started talking with another couple and their 2 kids, who were now all running around like animals with our kids. They lived about an hour from us, and we were heading to the same flight. Come to find out they were on the same flight as us coming to Disney as well. What are the odds?

So a Disney Cruise Line bus pulled up and we were excited to check it out.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519CO.jpg

When we got to the airport, I went to get us some drinks and there was a candy shop right near our terminal, so we pigged out on sour patch kids..

And Emily's purse from France is in this pic

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519DE.jpg

Oh and Southwest can't do online check in from the hotel, so we were in boarding group C...... AHHHHHHHH Luckily they told us to get right in the family boarding line. Thank Goodness. So our friends joined us again in line and the kids were talking. The little boy who was about 3 or 4 was so cute. He was doing little tricks and I was telling him how cute he was. When we were boarding he kept calling back to us. Come on , come on, are you coming. He was too adorable.

The flight home was not as nice as the flight there. It was very bumpy and we couldn't take our seatbelts off the whole time. It started off ok, Me, Sam and Lizzie played Go Fish and then Sam played with her Princess set that she bought.

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k296/3princesses-aprince/2009_0519DI.jpg

Emily and Anthony's ears hurt bad. And Manny, I thought he was going to cry, because he was sick, his ears and head hurt so bad on the plane. My ears hurt and Sam's did as well. Lizzie was fine, she slept the whole time, I had to wake here up to get off the plane, she didn't even wake up during the bumpy landing. She's too funny. Sam on the other hand fell asleep for a little bit, but woke up as soon as it started to land because of her ears. Wellllllllll, she also had to pee, very bad!!!!!! Oh, my word, I had to take her to the bathroom while we were landing. That wasn't fun!!!!

Well, we landed and everyone was happy to be on the ground. Our Limo driver was so nice, he was waiting right there at the baggage claim and helped us get our luggage. The little boy was crying and I went over to him and told him by and I was happy to meet him. Well he instantly stopped crying and was saying by to me and the girls. I'm glad I could make him stop crying for his poor tired parents!

We got home and it was so weird to be in a house, we went straight to bed and I don't really remember, but I think I was secretly happy to be home, nice and dry!!! Especially knowing it was going to rain all week there.

I'll finish up with posting my favorite things from the week and give any tips I can give!!!!

The Main Street Bakery is so good! We ate there on this past trip as well..SO tasty! :goodvibes

Sounds like a tough flight home. That's not the greatest, but the flight home is never as good as the flight there! LOL!

Don't be sorry about the rain, we only got it our last 2 and a half days, the rest of the week was perfect. We were just so glad we weren't getting there the week we left, they got rain all week after that.
And on the flight, yeah, I think we're going to drive next year.

I am glad that you got to ride Soarin'. We love that ride. I am also glad that the Paris purse was able to make up for the umbrella not being there. Thanks for sharing your trip. I hope you next trip is filled with perfect weather.

Oh, I am so glad we got to ride Soarin, and of course I wish Anthony could have rode too. That was a special night with Emily and Lizzie, that we'll never forget. Because we're such a big family when it's just 2 or a few of us, it ends up being very special time spent.

Well, looking back on everything now, I think I did a wonderful job planning our first trip. We did so much that we will never forget!!!! Disney World isn't just about the parks. My advice to everyone is to take the time to do all of the other little things that Disney has to offer. There is so much!!! We didn't get to rent the Surrey bikes this time, because it was too hot when we discovered them and that was 2 days before we left, so it never got done. But that is on our must do list for next year. My kids still talk about the boat that Dad got to drive in DTD, that wasn't just fun, it was special. I think of how much fun we had on the rides and the attractions and meeting the characters, and although they of course talk about their favorite rides and characters I think the memories of the little, special things we did are even stronger. Like the night just Me, Emily and Lizzie ran back to Epcot in the rain to buy her one last souvenier from France:goodvibes The first night when it rained from 6pm on and we ran back to the bus stop from MK and came back to our rooms and ordered pizzas up to the rooms. We put the table in one room into the other and made a big table where Me, Manny Sam and Lizzie sat, and Emily and Anthony were sprawled out on their beds eating pizza. Wonderful Night!!! And that was our first night so we were so tired from the flight, that was such a comfy and enjoyable night:cloud9: The night we came back from Epcot and it was warm. We got ice cream inside our food court and sat outside at a table by the pool and ate our ice cream while we listened to music play:lovestruc Our Hollywood Studios day which was cut short because it was SUPER HOT was spent for the most part in the pool. Well Emily was teaching Lizzie how to swim. Emily, who for the most part at home torments her sister on a daily basis.
