We are back from a WONDERFUL week in Disney! We got a lot done and A LOT of great memories. We rode everything we wanted to get done, and even saw the space shuttle launch! We stayed off site this time for the first time in 4 trips, and decided we will not be staying off site again. It was a big hassle being dependent on the car, and not having the luxury to get back to the hotel so easily. Anywhoo... without furthur ado... let me introduce you to the cast.

I''m Leanne a 22 year old lover and fanatic of all things disney!!! I was the planner of this trip, and was very pleased with how the trip went. DM and I had already started planning our next trip before we left. DH said by far this trip was better than the last b/c there was structure and not what are we going to do now, what about now, like the last trip that mom planned (not to toot my own horn, but TOOT TOOT lol) Mom agreed with him as well.

Tim a 27 year old coming to find the love of disney! He suprises me more and more everyday by how much he loves disney more and more. the closer we get to starting our own family, the more he loves it. He found a new love for animal kingdom this year. He propsed on the last trip, so he said he didn't enjoy the parks to much b/c he was so stressed (I can't imagine why he would be :rolleyes: lol) He can't wait til he are a family of three and go to disney. He really enoyed being there and seeing all the baby gear. He is a gadget gooro, and likes to fiddle with things all the time!

DMom-63 is definetly liking Disney more and more since I dis and find out all the neat little things. She said she can't believe all the trips they have taken and never knew about how many little details that go into making disney so magical. She has already started planning the next trip for December 2011 and staying at BLT or contempoary depending upon if we can trade into DVC through RCI.

DDad-67.This is the man responsible for my love of disney!!! I am definetly a daddy's girl! Always have been, always will be!!! Can't wait to make him a grandfather. My brother is 15 years older than me, and when his kids we little they lived in germany. He is in the military. The closest they've been to us is 5 hours and that was only for 2 years when they were 13 and 14. They never got to experience the spoiling factor of being grandparents as we don't see them more than a couple times per year. He is also very exctied for our next trip. It will be our first time at christmas. We have always gone in july and august until our last trip in 07 which was in March and this past trip was May. We are SOOO Excited!!!

It was a hassle. It was nice b/c all we had to pay was transfer fee for RCI, but not have disney transport, EMH, etc. it was very much a pain in the badonk. We didn't realize how tiring it would be, and how much we really did use the EMH when we were on site.

So this is going to be a very brief update as I have to pictures.

We had planned to leave around 6pm when everyone got off work on Thursday. We left as planned!!! Tim and I got to Mom and Dad about 5:30pm quickly packed our luggage into their van, set the address on the navigation for the hotel we were staying at in Savannah, GA, and we were off.

First let me back up... I had earlier dropped Bella at DH parents who were keeping her for the week. I must say she made this trip very hard to leave :sad1: First off I took the suitcase out and laid it on the bed open, went out of the room to get our cloths and returned to find Bella sitting in the suitcase :sad1::sad1::sad1: Talk about guilt trip!!! I do have a picture of this, but it's on my phone, so I'll post later. Then, when I took her to DH parent's house, I cried when I left, b/c of this... normally when bella is tired, or wants to cuddle she will jump up and push her paws on you hands, and you pick her up and she will snuggle in. If we've been gone for a while she'll give a hug, and nestle her chin into your neck. I don't have a picture of the exact moment, but of one from several months ago.

Well sure enough I went to leave and give her a kiss on the head like I always do, and she wants to be picked up :guilty: She tucked her legs into me, and snuggled so tight:guilty::sad1: Then comes the lump in my throat, and the thoughts of... we can take her... we'll put her in the kennel at disney and we can go see her whenever we want... that it... oh wait... we can't have her at the hotel Thursday night :guilty: I guess we much leave her. Then as if she can read my mind, she raises her head and gives me a big ol' lick up my cheek and across my nose and chin, gets down, gets her stuffie, and lays down and watches me leave :sad1: Oh I just love her!!!:cloud9: But rest assured, DH and I checked out the kennel situation while we were there this trip, and she will be coming with us next trip!!!:woohoo::yay::banana::dance3:
Anywhoo... on with the trip... uckuhm... We stayed at the wingate savannah, ga as we had plans to eat at paula deans friday afternoon. I wish I would have taken pictures, but it was a little about 2am when we finally got to the hotel, so needless to say, it was not at the top of my priority list :rolleyes1 Sorry! That's about it for Thurday
Up next... Day 2.1 We're puttin some south in our Mouth!!!

We got up Friday morning, and I was too excited to Paula Deans and puttin' some south in my mouth!!! WOOT WOOT :dance3: so again no pictures :sad2: Anywhoo... we have no problems finding it and it was more then I imagined. We got the buffet. I wish I would have gotten and entree off the menu as it was more her special recipies, but oh well it was still good. The one thing I really liked, is how they put mint in their tea... it made it really refreshing ahhhh!!! And on with the pictures
When we got there we got a resi for 11am and it was 10:30. We went across the street to the sidewalk like we were told, and waited to be called. Time to eat!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry I've taken a break the last couple days... life has gotten VERY crazy!!! We had to put my 15yo pound puppy down last friday, worked all weekend, memorial Day came and then went even faster, rained tuesday so we tryed to watch mall cop that we had gotten on monday only to find out our big screen that has been on it's last leg for a while, but hopeing to make it a couple more months, will no longer play movies, unless you like the black and white type, or the nothing but sounds type, back to work wednesday, but not before DH cleans the gutters out to find out we have a hole in our roof over our front porch that has rotted through 2 layers of shingles, roof paper, and sheeting. So that's my week, and he're my checkbook... cha-ching cha-ching cha-ching... and now me:headache: ugh what a week!!! Anywhoo... I will try and post an update tomarrow, I would now, but I'm at work and don't have my pics... See ya tomarrow!!!

Those road signs are always so much fun to see. I love the big Mickey head, I have never seen it. When I saw the picture of the bridge my knees went weak. I am TERRIFIED of high bridges, I almost have a full blown panic attack when we have to cross one. Anyway, keep it coming popcorn::

That's the only picture I have for tonight. We were so tired, and trying to adjust to the heat, we were ready for bed! All we really did was eat and watch the kids dancing infront of once upon a toy, then there was highschool orchestras playing, so we watched them for a while as well. If you ever get the opportunity to watch these school groups, take it, they are AMAZING!!! Anywhoo.... it was a nice relaxing night to get ready for the HOT and busy week to come.

We had breakfast at chef mickey's this morning at 9:50. We originally had planned on going into the parks afterwards, but after we found out dad could get the 5day military tickets for $99 we decided to do some resort hopping. We were out of the condo by 9am and on our way to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Let me first say, we got there in about 15mins which I was VERY happy about, but it was still a pain being off-site. Also, we did ALOT more resturants this trip then ever before. We normally ever do the same ones over and over, so the dining in the trip alone was SOOO EXCITING!!!

I responded with, are you hinting to go back to disney sooner!!! His response was we can go as soon as the money is saved!!! WOOT WOOT!!! (We always save for a vaca so it is completly paid for before we go, and don't have to take it out of our budget) I'm shooting for, fingers crossed, December 2010!!!

We got off at the poly and walked through the lobby, then took the outside path over to shades of green, got our tickets for $125pp with PH!!! WOOT WOOT oh and Dad was Free!!!! Couldn't get better!!!

Next we walked down and got on the SOG bus to TTC and took the monorail over to contempoary then walked over to MK to take the bus to Boardwalk.
Yea... I know we went the most complicated way, but we were just taking in the sights and enjoying the day.
We got to the Boardwalk and took in the sights and sounds and just enjoyed watching the water. We strolled through the shops at boardwalk then made our way over to the Beach Club, where I wanted to entroduce us to the kitchen sink!!! We are an ice cream loving family, and I know this would be a nice break out of the heat, and we could def use some sugar, as we were starting to get a little cranky. For whatever reason, I have no pictures of of strolling around the boardwalk and beach club... I guess we were enjoying the sights so much, but I do have pictures of the kitchen sink.

By now it was about 5pm, so we decided to go get groceries and go back to the condo to rest up for Sunday which is Mother's Day at the MK and Hoop-dee-do and fantasmic!!!

I really enjoyed CM!!! the only problem we had was when our buzzer was broken, we did have to keep asking for refills, but I think we didn't really pay attention b/c it was our first day at disney!!! We were consumed with the magic lol

Paula Dean's was really good!!! I think the next time we will get something off the menu vs. the buffet. The bridge was near savannah or just into FL I think, I can't remember exactly. I thought it was pretty. Mom was was freaking out however!!!

Today is Mother's Day and Mom picked to spend it in MK... I have NO complaitaints at all!!! We get up and head out... later than planned, but it's ok. We got left about 8:30. We parked on goofy today, so we had a short walk in. The monorail line was extreamly long, and there was noone for the boat. It was just pulling out, but there was one waiting to come in, so we took the boat. As we walked down mom was given a paper rose and they told her happy mother's day... disney has so many little special touches don't they!!!

Next it was time for Enchanted Tiki Room to cool off a bit... Have I mentioned this week was SOOO HOOOOTTT!!!! We would talk to random cast members and they were all telling us of how it was breaking records, and they'd had several CM get sick b/c they hadn't had any hot weather to get used to the temps.

After the tiki room we did POTC with no wait. We went to the right. Remember always do to the right lol For whatever reason I have no pictures of this... Hook, smee, peter and wendy were taking pictures across from POTC, but we didn't stop. DH and I didn't do any character pics this time put our Disney visa pic. we concentrated so much on character pics last trip, and we figure in the next several years we will be going back with a family of our own, and it will be all about characters about then, so we concentrated on rides this time...anywho... next we were on to frointerland

We went and got FP for BTMRR b/c it was down and headed for SM. I was so proud of Mom this trip. She rode basically EVERY RIDE!!! And let me say... this is MAJOR progress for Mom. It did take a little "icing" the ride for her to get on, but nonetheless she kept trying them and found she really could ride them. Before this trip, she didn't want to ride anything but IASM and maybe peter pan is we're lucky. I'm getting side tracked BAD tonight... sorry...

For whatever reason, probubly b/c we were so HOT, I don't many pictures here. We did SM, getting very VERY wet. We almost had Mom and Dad up front. Dad kept putting his finger to his lip shoshing everyone that went to say something about getting wet to her lol We only had about a 15 min wait Mom and Dad were in the front and getting ready to get on until she saw the people infront of us getting of SOAKED... she backed up and said " ooooohhhhh noooooooo I'll just not ride!!!!lol" DH and I switched with them, but they still ended up getting just as wet in the second row as we did in the first lol. We got hit with the canons. Then we rode BTMRR with FP. DH and I got really mad on this ride. We were in line and getting ready to get in. Well I don't know if the person stopping the train was new or what, but he stopped the train to early. Well this messed people up loading. It really wasn't harder than stepping back 1 row, but you know how it goes lol. Anywhoo... the part that made us mad was there were people who had already sat down before they made people back back up into the gates, and to the people already seated the CM asked, since there was a mix-up will y'all be ok to get a 2nd ride?:scared1::eek::scared1: Are you kidding me?!?! Then, the only people who didn't get on were DH and I and maybe 3 other couples, and made us get to the back of the line, b/c there was a school group that wanted to ride together:eek::headache: Seriously... I wish I could say this isn't true, trust DH and I kept looking at eachother saying are you kidding me, this isn't happening... Yeah to say the least we were POed Anyway... we were at disney... it was all put behind us when we FINALLY got on the train!!! After BTMRR we went to country bear jamboree. It def hasn't changed, but still isn't bad. We walked in right after they started letting people in. Perfect timing!!!

After CBJ we decided to take a ride on the liberty bell. Yea I was ready to get off before we even passed tom sawyer's island lol It was miserably hot!!! I did get some good picture though

After haunted mansion we made our way into fantasyland. It was PACKED!!! At mom's request we went to IASW. We waited in line for 20 minutes to ride, but it was mother's day. It was really neat, b/c we got to see the clock chime. I never knew it did this

We finished IASM and headed towards Main St to get a spot for the parade. We were all in need of sugar at this point, and we meaning I inparticular were getting grouchy from lack of sugar and air. I wanted to get ice cream and wait for the parade but I was vetoed and so we waited in the blazing sun for 20 minutes. We got an awesome spot at the hub looking straight down main st.

Now that the parade was over... we were and hour more in need of sugar, so what else can better fix this problem than a DOLE WHIP:dance3::dance3::dance3: Just thinking about we were walking towards the citrus goodness made me VERY happy. After the Dole whips we decided to head down main st as we had a 5pm ressie at Hoop-Dee-Do Revue and we had to get our tickets. On our way out we see these guys and they were awesome!!!

So we headed out to the boat to FW. I got very frustrated when we were in line. Dad was determined we were supposed to go to WL and not FW, and nothing was going to change his mind. He even asked a CM and they you are in the right line. He was arguing the whole boat ride about needing to go to WL, by the time we got to FW, I had gotten so fed up, I had to look at DH and laugh and say this proves where I get my stubbornness lol:rotfl2:

And walked to pioneer hall to get our tickets. We did take a pic but it was HORRIBLE!!! I got very burnt on this day, so i was feeling very bad, and we were soaked in sweat. This is the main reason we didn't like staying off-site as we felt we had to spend every minute the parks were open in them, and saw it to be a big hassle to go back to the condo mid afternoon then come back. HDDR was AWESOME!!! For anyone who hasn't done it, I HIGHLY suggest it. Mom picked it for her mother's day dinner. She said they wanted to come for the longest time, but never could get tickets. this was before I got involved in the planning and they new about adr's. Before I post pics, I must tell you about the best part of HDDR. For anyone who had been you'll probubly know what part I'm talking about. If not I will try to draw you a picture. In the beginning, the cast comes in and introduces themselves. After that they all go out into the audience and each picks a guest and does there act with them to find out who they are where they're from and what not. Well, in the show there is a blonde that's real flirty with everyone. She came over pulled dad back from the table, sat in his lap, crossed her legs, and wrapped her arms around his neck. It was hilarious!!! of course the batteries in my camera died and mom was laughing so hard she could get her camera out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Mom kept hollering "he's gunna have a coronary!!!" It is def a memory that will not be forgotten lol

After we left HDDR Mom wanted to go see fantasmic as they were only showing it twice this week. I don't have any good pics of it, but it was fantastic. DH like this show the best of show in disney, so he was very happy we were going to see it. We were all way on the left side of the stage. We got there 40 minutes early even. We were about 10 rows from the bottom. It probubly would have been better if we would have been up higher, but it was good nonetheless. We got back to the condo about 10:30, go showered, and went to bed. Today was a great way to start our vacation, and mom said it was one of the best mother's day's she'd ever had. We wanted to make it special as we normally go to gatlinburg, tn with her 2 sisters and their family and my granny so they can all be together on mother's day. It's normally all about my granny, so we wanted to make it special and make it about mom.
Up next: Day 5.0 Space Shuttle launch day!!! WOOT WOOT!!!

My favorite boat is the Breathless over at Yacht Club, it's an Illuminations cruise, and they take you down the canal toward DHS first then by Boardwalk before they get to the spot where you watch Illuminations.

The island you passed on the way to FW was originally called Treasure Island then Discovery Island. It was a nice oasis of walking paths, a little beach and it was an animal sanctuary. I remember seeing a bird show there back in the 70s. You can read about it here:

We have thought about doing a fireworks cruise, just haven't gotten to it yet.

When we were at the boardwalk we were looking at the sign of the different things they have and they showed nitro bass boat fishing tours. We were going to ask the people at the booth, but there was a family in front of us renting the jet boats, and they were taking FOREVER, and it was hot, and we really wanted to get to the kitchen sink :lovestruc!!!

We had an absolute blast!!! I think this trip was more fun then the last trip, and last trip was when DH proposed in the castle with the slipper!!! That was a different kind of trip though. This was much more relaxing. Thanks about Rylee!!! She is definetly precious!

Sorry everyone I haven't been very attentive to my TR, summer's seem to be crazy and to top it off I'm changing jobs, so I'm still working my current job, and also training at my new job, still working my MK business, and still cleaning for my BIL construction company... whewww... So today wasn't a disney day per say, but it was very exciting none-the-less!!!
We slept in today as we were going to see the space shuttle launch from cape kennedy. We had planned on leaving the condo around 10 for the 2pm launch. We knew it was about an hour drive down, and figured there would plenty of traffic to combat with. We got left about 10:30 but were fine with this. We got down there in less than an hour and was going to go to Jetty park, but when we got there it was already full, so we were detoured about went back up to where there were a ton of cars pulled off on the side of the road. Unfortunatly I don't have many pictures of this, not sure why, but anyways, we pulled off past a bridge then found that we could walk to the other side of the road, so we could get a clear view of the shuttle, but walking under bridge. It was really cool. We went and got our seat and this is what we saw. You can kind of see the dots that are kennedy space center.

The crazy part about the whole thing is that, the space shuttle was completly gone, and then we heard it and the water was rippling and the ground was trembling!!! I was insane how that happened!!!

Anywhoo... after we saw that we went to titusville to eat at our FAVORITE resturant Dixie Crossroads. It was SOOOO good!!! I don't have many pictures of this, only of desert lol

Yes that's right there actually waas no plyboard under the old shingle. Just 1x4 boards, so now were are not only putting on new shingles, but also plyboard as well. UGH... what a saturday!!!

After Toy Story Mania we decided to make our way out of the crowds and back to the front of the park. It was a straight line to RNR and HTofT!!!

That's all the pictures I have of these as we basically walked onto both of these. We rode these several times throughout the day.
After getting our roller coaster fix we decided to go see beauty and the beast as we were right there at it, and they were letting people in for the next show. There were 2 little boys in front of us that were 2 cute for words. They kept talking about their cousins (they were are girls) and how they are the prince and the cousins are the princesses and they take care of them and keep them safe because that's what mickey's princes' do for Minnie's princess'. Is that not just to precious!!! Anywhoo... back to beauty and the beast.

Can you tell that I just love love love this show!!!

Next we made our way to the great movie ride. I finally went on the western side. I don't remember ever going on that side, and it was nice for a change. Our driver was really nice and a very good role player. He honestly reminded me of the man that narrorating ABC when they used to have would of disney night on Sunday nights. I think that made it more special.

The cast picked were 4 high school girls that were on their graduation trip. There was about 10 of them all together but only 4 were picked, and apparently they had never been here before because I don't think I've seen anyone as shocked as these girls were. They were very good sports about it though. They were laughing so hard at the end they couldn't even talk:lmao::rotfl:

Tim quickly remembered this from our last visit and I was I was so adement on him sitting on the outside haha Am I sneaky or what!!!
After the backlot tour, and I really though I remembered it being much longer, but I guess not:confused3 Anywhoo...It was time for lunch. Sorry no food porn.. we were VERY VERY hungrey!!! We ate at toy story planet and it was some of the best pizza I think I've ever eaten!!! After lunch since we were there we decided to go to mupphets. It's a shame that it's lost so much of it's intrest. I remember the times when we'd stand in that snaking line waiting to see it, and this time all we did was watch the pre-show. I still think it's a very cute show. Maybe it just needs to be updated.

Anywhoo... when we came out we found that it had started raining, and figured that if would only last a little bit and DH was DYING to see light motors action as we didn't the last time we went to disney I gave in and said lets go. Dh is a big car fan, so he was excited to see this. Well this little Florida shower turned into 2 hours of rain. Yes 3 hours:eek::eek::eek: We stood under the awning outside the stadium though thunder and lighting and yes that building is metal!!! To say the least I was FREAKING OUT!!! I hate thunderstorms to begin with, but slap me under a metal building and its amplified!!! After about and hour they let us in the stadium still not sure if they were going to be able to do the show with it being wet. Long story short that did the show and I must say IT WAS AWESOME!!! DH and my dad were like to little boys. ohing and awing and look at that Mom and I got a chuckle out of them. Here's a couple pictures of the show. Oh and we went from 80-90 degrees to 50-60 degrees because of this storm:headache:

I don't have many pictures of this as I videoed most of it.

After that was over we decided it was time to go as it was still raining and it was FREEZING!!! It was already about 6 anyway and the park closed at 8 that night. We made our way to the entrance and decided to go through the gift shops as we hadn't looked in many of the gift shops thus far. Unfortunatly I think that's what everyone decided to do. oh well wel ran through the downpours and made it to the tram. Well once we get on the tram there is a couple in front of us that has a baby with them that couldn't be more than 3 or 4 months old. They had borrowed a stroller (it was a combi) from someone and that was the first day they'd used it. He didn't know how to fold it down and since it was literally pouring out of buckets at this point. He just got in an empty bench and put the stoller next to him. There was maybe 10 people in our whole car and the same or less with the other cars. Anywhoo... the loader would not let the driver leave because the stroller wasn't folded. He made him get off while his wife and baby sat on the tram. He explained the situation with the stroller and in a nutshell the guys responce was not my problem. There is a walk way to the parking lot:mad::mad::mad: After 6 different people got off they finally figured out how to fold the stroller and he got on, but seriously come on now!!! Dh looked at me after that was like we are NOT getting that kind of stroller haha They were such a sweet couple. They were from austraila and had come to visit family so they could meet their new addition, and what better place than disney world she said. I so totally agree!!! We went back to the condo and had dinner in the room hopeing to get up to beautiful florida weather.
