Tonight is Stuie's HS Graduation :goodvibes (also celebrating his full-ride college scholarship woo-hoo :goodvibes) and Saturday, his dad and I celebrate our 35th anniversary -- our adorable, wunnerful, fabuloso kids are doing a party for us.

Although I am definitely having mixed feelings about the end of my role as "Mom" (trouble-shooter, owie-kisser, butt-kicker, logistics manager, and far too many other titles to list here :lmao:), it's also SO amazing and gratifying to see what awesome, kind, intelligent adults our children have become. It really IS an embarrassment of riches. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

But c'mon now... tell me honestly... will you really ever not be the owie-kisser? :confused3 I don't think any of those jobs really EVER end to be honest with you... :goodvibes

Congratulations!

"Traditional 35th wedding anniversary gifts have a theme of Coral.
A contemporary or modern 35th anniversary gift has a theme of Jade."

Does that mean you'll be taking a trip to a Far East Tropical Island soon?

I'm so happy for you. There are far too few stories of successful kids, sucessful love, successful lives.

Thanks for sharing yours with us

Congratulations...you've done a wonderful job.

Party's at 3:00 tomorrow or whenever people show up. We'd love to have you all!:thumbsup2 Come hungry 'cuz there'll be a TON of yummy things to eat. (I'm doing chicken satay but that'll be the least of the goodies) :goodvibes

Got a little teary-eyed last night @ the Commencement Ceremony. Couldn't help but think about the adorable little kid Stuie used to be... seems like it was only yesterday, he was dragging home every mangy stray dog in the neighborhood and wanting to keep them.

Coral and Jade are beautiful. (Thank you so much for looking that up -- I sure wouldn't have known it!)

You folks are all AWESOME -- thank you all SO MUCH for your good thoughts and kind words. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes :goodvibes
