DIS Instructions
I love these challenges, they always get my creative juices going. Hope this one does the same for you.
1. Must be Disney related
2. Use an odd number of photos and your photo(s) should be the TOP layer -meaning nothing should be on top of your picture - all the layers are under it (or next to it)
3. Use a word art
4. Recolor something on your page - to make it work in your layout better. - Don't forget to let us know what you recolored.
5. Let's see a some circles.
6. Ribbons/Stitching/Elements should go different directions
7. Hide a mickey (it doesn't have to be super hidden, but don't make it super noticeable either). - Don't tell us where - we want to find it.
Can't wait to see all the pages, and what you do with it.
Here is what I came up with:

Prize? You betcha! Wendy (http://wendys-craftycreations.blogspot.com/) of
WM[squared] Designs (http://scrapmatters.com/shop/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=39) from
ScrapMatters (http://www.scrapmatters.com) has donated a gift certificate good for one of her kits (max value $5.50).
Here are a couple of my favorites (to get you all excited for the prize).

The winner will be chosen by my 4 year old daughter. She has really gotten into looking at pages and asking questions so I think she will love being the one to chose the winner. Deadline for entries is 12am (midnight) next Tuesday night the 26th, I will have my daughter choose the next morning (the 27th) when we wake up.
Happy Scrapping!

I wanted to get this one done quickly, I too have missed the past few challenges! I recolored the word art.

And I want to say that technically, i used 2 photos... that good pic of them had the feet cut off so I stole my son's feet from a pic where Mickey was looking the other way!!! It was the only one in the session with feet! I wouldn't have mentioned it normally, but I was proud of my feet gluing! :D

I'm going to try to jump in on this one too!
Sharon - sooooooooo cute! I love the emphasis on the Dog theme - sometimes I forget that he is a dog - LOL!!
Fran - love the way you did the pic in front of the elements - very clever! I often cut and paste pictures togethers especially because my DDs can't look at the camera same time. - great feet gluing!!

Sharon I love your page. Those colors are perfect for that photo with Pluto.
Fran - Great job on the "gluing" of the two photos. I love that word art - perfect for that picture. Great job on the extraction too!

Fran,
I can't tell at all that you added feet! LOL Very seamless. Great vintage looking background paper! I'll have to go back and see where that one came from :)
I'm loving all the layouts so far this week! Love the contrasts you are all choosing with the blacks, the bright pinks, red/black and the bright teal!
Fun fun fun!

Okay, let's see...I did my different direction elements as the glitter and I recolored the glitter (from gold) as well as two of the underlying pages. (from red and dark blue to pink and lighter blue). This is a fourth of july kit and I used it for the Living the Land ride.
What else...Oh, there are two Mickeys and plenty of circles!
I think I got everything!
Thanks for the fun challenge :)

Okay - it took me a while to realize that I have officially disqualified myself from this challenge! Look at all of the stuff that I have on top of my photos! :rotfl2: Oh, that's too funny.
Sometimes the brain just doesn't work like it used to. If I have the chance I'll try to do another lo. But if not, that's okay. Silly me!

Here's mine.....over on the photography board, there's a thread about taking pictures of Photopass Photographers....and I thought it was a fun idea, so I found one that was pretty enthusiastic and had DH take a picture of us with her official Photopass camera.....it was pretty fun! :thumbsup2

click for credits.....the element I recolored was the wordart...it's originally yellow. Thanks for the challenge!!!!
Here's mine. I missed the last couple of challenges because I was so focused on getting things done for my kids' teachers and the end of the school year stuff.
I recolored... more to the point, what didn't I recolor - the only items I did not recolor are one of the papers, the stitching, and the ribbon slide. Everything else had either the color brightened, darkened or totally changed.

I haven't had a chance to participate as regularly as I'd like, but I did squeeze this one in today!!!
My color altered embellishments are the circle with the arrow and the string of stars. Hint - the hidden Mickey is near the top of the page.
All digi papers by Britt-ish Designs, most elements by Britt-ish Designs (You've Got a Friend in Me).
Circle arrow, star cluster, and string of stars by Krystal Hartley & Eva Kipler (Outlaws from Outerspace kit).

Sorry girls for abandoning you over here! I don't always remember to check these boards (not a good thing when you are the hostess)!
Terri - Love those bright colors and all your circles. Love how you did your mickey too.
Wendy - Your layout is great (even without the brackets and buttons!). Beautiful the way you used this kit. I love your shadowing.
Diana (ngneer98) - So cute. Love your bright colors and your circles. I had to search hard for your hidden mickey - perfect! We go to Disney in about 18 days so we must be going about the same time (we are down there the 12th to the 18th). Oh yeah and I have that shirt too!
Robin - So cute. Love all the blue and your ribbons and stiching to make up the elments going both directions.
Dawn (photobee) - Love how you used the DS wk 1 kits - love that color pallette and perfect for Chip & Dale! Great recoloring of that & sign!
Brittney - Love this page. The black paper just makes everything pop. You are always so creative with your titles.
Jan (MakingScrapbooks) - Love how you used the Space Rangers kit, great for those pictures. Took me a second to find your hidden mickey too!
janette - Love that picture - the people walking are translucent ... so cool! Love the stars and pixie dust scatted all over.
Great job girls. Only 22 1/2 more hours to get your pages in! :cool1:

Okay - hopefully I didn't spaz out this time and do something blatantly wrong! Ha! I must admit that I started putting things on top of the photos, again, until I reread the instructions. Whew!
So, here it be. I recolored the paint blob on the left hand side of the page.
Thanks for hosting, Krisi!

Bob...great pic! I'll be there next week! Love the hidden Mickey!
Sneaking in with a little time to spare! I recolored the blue paper and the glitterdot burst and my 7th (odd) picture is the TTA sign extraction. I think I have everything else except I did have to go back and make a change after my final save since I put the wordart on top of the pictures. That was a hard one not to do!

Happy Wednesday morning to everyone!
My daughter has chosen a winner. QuiltyMom (Jan) with her layout of Mickey's house.
http://www.scrapmatters.com/gallery3/data/1058/medium/Mickey_s_House.jpg
Her question to Jan is .... Where is Minnie's House? Kids are so cute sometimes. I will PM you your gift certificate code to WM[squared] Designs (http://scrapmatters.com/shop/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=39).
Everyone's pages are WONDERFUL, thank you so much for playing. Tata for now.
My remaining comments:
BobQuincy - Love how simple your layout it. Those wood planks are perfect and love your hidden mickey.
Jan (QuiltyMom) - So cute, lots of fun elements - love how you tied the balloon to the fence.
Pam (Pooh46) - Love this page. Love the bright colors, the hidden Mickey is so cute - may have to lift that sometime! Great photos too.
