Hey everyone my name is Lucina, this is my first TR so please bear with me. I been to Disney many times with my family, school(high school), friends, and my wonderful DH. This trip was an all girl trip May 7-11. We stayed off site at Windsor hill the house was amazing but we had a couple of guest I will explain later on. This trip was one of the best trip I had to Disney, when it was time to leave we were all really sad. Gi-Gi: This was her Birthday trip she only been to Animal Kingdom, she said this was the best birthday ever.

Day 1 Part 1

My day started off at 6am I had a long day the day before doing hair and taking a trip to Wal-Mart and the mall with the girls because some of them still had to buy clothes and swim suit and all the last min stuff we didn’t get home till late:rolleyes:. Well I got up and started cooking food for my DH since I was going to be away and wanted him to have food to last him a couple day aren’t I a good wife:angel:. At 10am I went to pick up the car rental. I was originally suppose to pick the rental up at one but got a call from them to see if I can come early so I could get the full size that I rented. So off to the rental company I went, so I get there and there are no full size car only a compact and Van :scared1: I take a deep breath and say to myself they might have more cars in the back. I go in give them my DL and CC and the agent tell me that all they have is the compact and that he can give it to me for $20 less. I’m like hold on I just got a call 5 mins ago saying to come earlier because they wanted me to have the full size that I wanted. He then started talking which I didn’t know what he was saying cause I was at stage 2 on the mad scale so I asked him can they call another location and have a car sent over he said no I would have to go there okayyyyyyyy now im at a stage 4. I asked him were the other car rental place was and it was like 20 mins away from where we were, I asked him to call them and asked them if they had a full size car they did but they would have to charge me $385:scared1: for the weekend because I didn’t have a reservation with them now I’m at a 5 on the anger scale. I asked to talk to a manager and was told he was out to lunch hellooooo its 10am who have lunch at 10 when this place opens up at 7am. Then another lady comes in and over hears my arguing with the guy and asked if she could help I explained her the store and she says hold on and goes in the back , she come back 15 mins later and tell me that she will have a Chrysler 300 here in 15 mins and she apologize and took $20 off and gave us an extra day and guess what her name was “ Angel” she was truly a god sent. I thanked her constantly and told her that she saved our vacation she said it ok and that the other guy was new. We got there at 10 and didn’t leave till 12am and the manager was still not there:confused3. Any who me and Dsil rushed home because we both had to finish cook and finish our last min packing. We were suppose to leave at 3 if Gigi could leave work early but she had to stay till 5pm. So at 2 I was done with everything and decided to take a nap I woke up at 3 got ready and packed the car and was on my way to Dsil by 4pm. We stopped at Walgreens to get gigi her birthday card and a $250 gift card that we all put together to get for her, we also got her some flowers at Publix all this time Bebe is ringing up my phone and saying she’s outside with the luggage and her DH laughing at her saying that we left her it was the funniest thing to hear them arguing:rotfl:. We left Publix and I realize I left my folder with all the trip info back to the house we go. Gigi calls and says she home and I said to be on time and I’m not following the rules whatever:mad::rolleyes:. So at 5:30 we are at bebe house and have to reload the car because I had three duffle bags Dsil had a large suite case and a duffle bag and bebe luggage was the biggest we had to put some stuff under our feet in the back seat and in the passenger side this is what happens when 4 girls travel together:snooty:. We go to Gigi house and come out the car with her flowers and balloons dancing and singing happy birthday I took some pics but she said she looked a hot mess and not to put them up online:sad2:. Its 6:15 and we are finally on the road but stopped at McDonalds because gigi was hungry and didn’t eat since noon. We do our prayers its tradition for us to pray before we leave I lead the prayer:angel:. So we are on the turnpike at 6:30 and we have another tradition when we are going out of town when we pass the tolls we yell out WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE OUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!. cool..I'm glad your putting the TR together. can't wait to read more. is it usually 3 hours? I don't know anything about where anything is in FLA. My parents are going to FLA in a few weeks to buy a place in Naples? where is that compared to Disney? and to Miami?

This was the first time I have ever heard that someone (your friend GiGi) had only been to the Animal Kingdom. For most people, its usually they have only been to the Magic Kingdom.

Your friend Bebe is such a good student! Our last trip to DW conflicted with school for me and I did not touch one bit of homework! I brought it with me yes but I was way to excited to be thinking about schoolwork. Good for her!

You guys look like a fun group to travel with. I would have been majorly P.O.'d about the car rental issue too. But, at least you got a decent sized car and a discount!

By the way, I have that same issue of US magazine and the Jennifer Hudson CD. Both are highly recommended.

Day 1 part 2

Last I left off we just got to Orlando and was on our way to the townhouse then we notice that we were passing by a house we stayed at before and decided to stop by and take a pic oh it brought back soooo much memories….

Day 1 part 2 contin.....


Bebe(:snooty:) went to sleep right away and Dsil, Gigi, and I chatted down stairs:hyper2:. While talking Gigi got up and ran us being from Miami when we see someone run we run with them and ask questions later:scared1:. Gigi said she saw something run in her room:eek:. So we all grab an object and head towards the room and when we got in there we saw a flying roach:scared1: . We ran out the room and ran upstairs and guess what we see on the stairs

It was half of a dead roach :sad2:OMG we freak out and started looking around and thinking things was flying on us looking back at it, it was the funniest thing:lmao:. We ran and closed the door to Gi-Gi room and called the emergency number and the lady just told us to call the management company tomorrow and they will send pest control there tomorrow morning. I guess that’s why they have pictures of these things in the home

Gi-Gi sleep in my room for almost the whole trip except for the last night. We were so tired and just went to bed:angel:.

yeah its crazy but she only been to Ak and taught thats all Disney had to offer boy was she wrong. Bebe was doing homework almost the whole trip :rolleyes:but she really enjoyed herself.

We had the alarm set up for 8:00am because we had breakfast reservations at Kona at 10am. We got dress got everything we needed and was out the door by 9:10. Here are some pics we took on our way to Magic Kingdom.

Gigi/bebe/Dsil wanted to get their 1st visit buttons Dsil been to Disney before but still wanted a button and since gigi only been to AK she wanted a 1st visit button also and she got a birthday button gigi birthday was a couple days after the trip so she couldn’t get in for free.

We sat down enjoyed are dole whip and talked to a couple from England who was fascinated by our costume accessories and all the color we were wearing :wave: hi Amy and Paul they even brought Gigi another dole whip for her birthday which she didn’t want to share:mad:.

I love the Tonga toast :cloud9:. They were so sweet its like orlando(disney area) have so many nice ppl you'll hear more about another group later. The secret is Mary Kay and wet wipes. We wash our face with the wet wipes and then apply mary kay powder.

The show was really good we then went on all the other ride in tomorrow land except for space mountain since it was closed . Then we took the train near toontown to head back to main street.
